Thank you so much Bellinis for such wonderful food and service for our daughters 18th Birthday celebrations with the family. There was a table of 11 of us and the food, atmosphere and service were all fantastic. Throughly recommend and will definitely be back!

Had a great meal at Bellini’s last week - calamari to start, and a great anchovy/olive pizza to follow. Fish lovers rejoice! As always, the owner came by to give us a personal welcome, and explained how - although he has a pizza chef - he always insists on making his pizza dough himself! That’s commitment. Said chef even came by to give us a jovial greeting! Whether for a quiet meal or larger party gathering, Bellini’s always delivers (and literally does too, if you’d rather eat at home!).

What a great place for any family/friends get together. The food was perfect and the staff were all friendly and accommodating. We had a large table booked with a couple of dietary requirements. All food was cooked to an excellent standard and certainly good value for money. Would highly recommend and not hesitate to book again.

Absolutely stunning!!! Asked if they do something that was not on the menu… and guess what… they did and they made it superbly! Prawns in a wine, garlic, tomato sauce with pasta. Owners are so friendly and accommodating. What a wonderful evening. Thank you 😊🙏

We had a family christening celebration at the restaurant and I have to say that the food, atmosphere and service were all top class . Lovely traditional Italian food and hospitality . I can highly recommend Bellinis !

Living near Sharnbrook we have tended to use Vesuvio's At the Sharnbrook Hotel year in and year out. Now they no longer exist we went to Bellinis and what a lovely surprise. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and the pizzas were fantastic...really tasty.

We have come to different events at this restaurant and tonight came again for a family meal . The food is always fresh and service 100%. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they make you feel like family . True italian food with great flavours . Amazing owners result in amazing staff , service and food!! Highly recommended

Not been here before, but looking for a last minute Italian for my partners 60th. What a lovely restaurant. Made to feel wanted from the minute we walked in. A real Italian family welcome throughout the evening Even though they had a function in the back room, it didn’t affect the the service at all, and the wonderful touch singing happy birthday. Attended a friend's 75th birthday celebration. What a fabulous evening. Food was amazing, DJ so friendly and played/sung great songs and we all had a great time. Thank you so much to all involved.

We picked this place from the reviews,there were 11 of us dining for our daughters birthday. We were greeted by friendly staff and ordered very quickly. Our food was brought out very quickly and was delicious with generous servings. And a constant supply of cold bottled table water. I had passed a cake and candles to the reception staff as we entered, I was asked when I would like it to come out and the name and age . The manager brought the cake out and sang in his beautiful Italian voice with us . It was very special. He then took multiple photos of us so that we could save the memories. Will definitely go bk again highly recommend.

Wow. The food at this place is absolutely lovely. It tasted so fresh and was beautifully cooked. My steak was a generous size with a delicious sauce and crispy chips. We received a genuinely warm welcome from the owners and attentive service during the whole evening. The style of the food was so authentically Italian that the taste of it took me right back to holidays in Rome. It was a lovely experience and we will look forward to eating at Bellini’s again the next time we’re in the area.

Had a delivery of 9 pizzas (most had different toppings) to a family get together in Kempston. Arrived at the prearranged time and they were still piping hot. Would recommend to anyone.

Welcomed with a smile & a pleasant time. I noticed that they had kept the place looking very clean & keeping to the government guidelines & social distancing. Starters came out steaming hot. Looking very appetising. I had a very yummy calamari, my friend had a fungi will tasty melted cheese on top. For mains I treated myself to a lovely calzone & I have to add. It had just the right toppings in the middle. Finished it all & filled me up nicely. My friend had a lovely chicken cacciatore. He commented that it was cooked to perfection. He’s really into his protein gains. So the he had he right dish! Haha. So he thoroughly enjoyed. Cooked with a gorgeous mushroom & pepper sauce. Thank you for having us. I’ll certainly be back.

We had a wonderful meal this evening at Bellinis with a small number of family (4) celebrating my mums belated birthday. Both the food and service were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We love visiting Bellinis as we’re always greeted like long lost friends whenever we visit. We have previously held many events here for various celebrations and every time we’ve had a great time. It’s nice to have some normality in this crazy time and to support great local business - we will be visiting again very soon.

Back at Bellinis for another great meal. One of the first times I have eaten out since lockdown and so I was a bit anxious. However, they had hand sanitiser on arrival, tables very well spaced out and as such I felt very safe. The restaurant is also extremely clean.Really tasty pizza and pasta again - tasted very fresh and flavoursome. I didn't manage a pudding but my partner had a lovely tiramisu. Thank you so much. Independents are the best, especially in these strange times.

Just had the most amazing birthday meal here! All food cooked to perfection with everyone throughly enjoying it. I have been here many times before and have never been left disappointed especially after catering for many people and all food being brought out together with various dishes. All food was adequately presented. Starters were brought out as soon as everyone was seated. All food was brought out fairly quickly with no waiting around. At the party we had children with various special needs who were specifically very well catered for with understanding staff who helped with any special request we had. A big thank you for Don and Emma for hosting and providing excellent service!

Every visit to Bellinis is absolutely lovely. Despite the difficult working conditions the staff are currently working in caused by the pandemic they never fail to deliver their own special brand of fantastic customer service and delicious, authentic Italian food, accompanied by a good bottle of wine from their excellent wine menu. Tables are well spaced and the team clearly are taking good care to ensure social distancing. Hand sanitiser is provided on entry. Thank you to the team for another lovely evening, Vanessa & Bob.

I had too write a review straight away as I’ve just had a fantastic evening here at bellinis. Absolutely nothing faulty. We were greeted pleasantly at the door by the waitress & seated immediately. Table, chairs & building was immaculate. We felt so welcome. I enjoyed a really tasty carbonara, my girlfriend enjoy a nice Bellini streak. Cooked to perfection as usual. We’ve been here many many times & we truely love it here. & cannot be faulted! 5 stars, most certainly.

First of all we have been going to this restaurant for many years and have taken lots of our friends to it, so after it reopened after the lockdown we were really looking forward to going. We again took another couple with us and prior to going we had told them what a great place it was and how good the steaks were. They had a really lovely mushroom starter on the menu which came with a sauce which we all ordered. Unfortunately the sauce seemed to have split so didn’t coat the mushrooms and it just sat in the bottom of the dish, but it tasted ok so we asked for some bread (which they charged us £1.60 for) to soak it up. We didn’t mention the sauce as at least it tasted ok. More issues were just around the corner, three of us ordered the ribeye steak. Two rare and one medium the plates arrived, but immediately on cutting the steak it was obvious that mine was not medium but was well done. I asked the others and the rare ones were well done as well, not even a hint of pink in them. I got up and went and found a waitress. I explained quietly and politely the problems with the food. She came to look,apologised and took the three plates away leaving one of our party to eat alone while we waited for our new steaks to arrive. When they arrived amazingly half of our chips had disappeared. If the restaurant had been rammed it may have been excusable to had over cooked the first steaks but this restaurant is never busy and on this particular evening there were only two other tables eating. Even now the steaks were not great, they were cooked slightly better but two of them were really tough. We didn’t complain this time and made the best of it. When you pay £23 for a ribeye steak you don’t expect it to be full of gristle and to be cooked badly. We finished our meal which came to almost £200. The bill arrived and on looking at it I noticed that no allowance had been made for our meal and evening being spoilt. When the waitress arrived to take the payment, I explained that I would pay the bill but was disappointed that no allowance had been made for this. This is when it started to get unbelievable. She said well these things happen and then she blamed the butcher for it !!!!Then to make matters worse tried to make us feel better by saying that they had been to Miller and Carter and also had a badly cooked steak. She said she would go and speak to the management, on her return she offered us a drink on the house !!! When I explained that as two of us were driving it would be pointless she said well what do you want. After explaining that it was not up to me to decide on compensation it was up to the restaurant she offered nothing additional so we paid the bill and left. We will never be returning to this restaurant not just because of the problems with the food but more because of the way it was handled.

Undoubtably the best pizza I have ever had ! Ordered it last night with speedy delivery with a friendly face and enjoyed every mouthful ! Will 100pc be ordering again.

Recently had a take away delivery service from Bellinis. Really speedy delivery, great food, piping hot. All as good as eating in the restaurant, apart from the lack of atmosphere. Great service Don and Emma as usual.

Very good basic food done to It’s finest, not over or undercooked food I would recommend to book to ensure you get a table as it’s popular for the right reasons and very little children around so it’s not full of noise

I requested a fish platter for my partner as it’s her birthday and she loves fish. I gave Don (owner) a list of 7 types of fish to chose a selection from. Don supplied all 7 types for our evening meal. It was absolutely fabulous, the service was second to none. 5 out of 5 for us.

As a family we use Bellini's often for our Italian functions as we can be guaranteed, fantastic food, wonderful ambiance, attentive staff and a husband and wife team than will bend over backwards to ensure your event is the best it can be enabling it to run smoothly. Thank you Dom and Emma for all yours and your teams hard work for my two daughter's communion.

As ever, an outstanding meal at Bellini's with friends. Great food, great atmosphere - a top class evening. The ideal place to catch up with old mates. And as usual, a very warm welcome from the owner, who this evening came and joined us as we were having an intense debate on boxing - his passion for delivering great cuisine is second only to his support for Lennox Lewis, it seems...!!

We had our gender reveal at the restaurant and it went perfectly!! They had 2 other parties plus ours and all the food was amazing and out quickly like it was quiet day!! Couldn’t believe the service on the night, absolutely amazing!! Food is always cooked to perfection. Dom and the staff are always so polite and friendly. All of the family love it here. My father in-law is in a wheelchair and they always look after him so well. I LITERALLY CAN NOT FAULT THIS PLACE. Very highly recommended, beautiful family run restaurant.

Mum throughly enjoyed her 80th birthday party at bellinis. Food was excellent, donato and the staff were attentative to your needs. Me and my other half came to Bellinis on valentines evening. The restaurant made 10/10 effort for the occasion, as they had bespoke balloons made, romantic music playing and little tea light candles, which all contributed to a relaxed romantic atmosphere. The set menu was a good range of options to choose from. Overall we had a lovely evening with delicious food, their cheesecake is the best I have had!

Came to Bellini's for our Valentine's treat and the food was exceptional! The food is great value for money and the food is always up to par. We booked a table for my aunties 50th birthday. They allowed us to come earlier in the day to decorate and were really helpful. In the evening the staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious and really good value for money. I loved the house red, which was also inexpensive. Overall the whole experience was lovely and we shall definitely be going back. Just had my Mums wake here what can i say from start to finish the service was fantastic the food was amazing and even though more people than anticipated turned up it did not faze Don and staff they just set up more tables and bought out more Food. Nothing was to much trouble i would most definitely recommend this restaurant.

Chose Bellini for our mothers wake. They did our mother proud. The hot buffet was superb, everything was fresh and tasty. The care and attention to our requests were fantastic even down to fresh artisan bread. The cheese board was well presented with a great choice of cheeses. Delicious macaroons where served with coffee. Don and Emma and all the team worked hard to make the afternoon so wonderful under the emotional circumstances.

Great service , lovely staff and a wonderful buffet spread . From booking with Don for an estimated 80 people he was not at all fazed when 97 people turned . He just discreetly added to the buffet food and everyone was catered for . As our Mum was 92 when she died the whole afternoon was a celebration of her life and Don left us to it when we started singing all the songs that Mum loved . 14 of us stayed on to eat an excellent delicious evening meal . So thank you to Don and family we will certainly reccommend you and return again to eat .

We just had a funeral and visiting this place for a buffet was class. We all had fun as the owner was always having a joke with us, calling us funny names and talking about where he used to work really lifted the mood. The food was amazing and very delicious, I definitely recommend this place any time for a meal.

Been to Bellini’s a few times over the years, booked here tonight for the boyfriends birthday meal and it was a lovely evening. Quick service, friendly staff and delicious food! The pasta dishes here are particularly delicious, especially the salmon penne! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting delicious authentic Italian food.

On the 3rd of November we went to Bellinis. There was a party of 65. The food was excellent, all servings were piping hot. Service excellent and very attentive to detail. Restaurant was very clean. The patron Don allowed us to go in early to set up our displays and could not have anymore to please us. 5 star service for 3 star price.Have booked for next year.

Organising my grandsons 2nd birthday celebration for 50 people and 10 children was a pleasure to do. Emma was welcoming, enthusiastic and committed to please in every aspect and nothing was too difficult for her. We worked well together and she is a credit to Bellini's because of her friendly and re-assuring approach.

We stumbled across this place on Trip Advisor early one Wednesday evening, when we were looking for somewhere different to eat; a quick call confirmed they had a table. The menu reminded us of Italian food from dining years often not seen on menus today and so we had high hopes. Well we weren't disappointed! The food was amazing - I had a simple Caprese to start and my partner had mushrooms, we both had (different) steak and it was presented well and tasted delicious, I am Gluten Free and I had plenty of options - Don introduced himself and made conversation which was really nice and we were made to feel really welcome. Definitely one to return too and I look forward to trying different things from the menu. - well done

A social club that we belong to celebrated fifty years of existence and we held the event at Bellinis. We were warmly welcomed by the manager and staff and the service was friendly and very efficient. The food was very good,my starter of Parma ham and melon was generous,the chicken main was tasty and the profiteroles dessert was delicious. It was very reasonably priced and they can obviously deal with quite large numbers very well. Would recommend.obobobviously deal

I came by with a friend of mine last night. This place is great for a quiet, more intimate affair as well as for a large gathering - we were made to feel so welcome and as ever, the food was marvellous. The "funghi ripieni" seem to be getting better with every visit, and the meat-laden pizza was simply exquisite. As I discovered, the owner is a keen darts fan - well, in my book Bellini's scores ooooonnnnne huuunddddred and eeeiiightyyyyyy!

Fantastic venue and amazing service. Food was amazing and the staff were incredible. I was able to come in and setup the afternoon of the party and the staff were so tentative and patient even with the length of time it took to make everything perfect. Held a small family party here for my nephew from Italy. The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. The food was generously portioned and very very tasty. We all would have eaten more if we had had the room! Thank you to everyone at Bellinis for making it special, I have recommended this place to everyone I know. It's well worth a visit. We were really impressed with the delish food and cracking beverages! I had melanzane parmigiana which was the best. I recommend the tiramisu too. Staff are really friendly and even made me a negroni sbagliato which wasn’t on the menu. Will definitely be returning x

We arrived on a Saturday night and the place was rammed - two big parties in full swing. However, we needn’t have worried - service was excellent, food great and everything came in good time. Staff were friendly and attentive and despite being busy no one seemed panicked and a man that we assumed was the owner made sure that nothing was missed. Couldn’t fault the evening - or the price!

Another lovely meal at Belinis. We had the set menu which gave us a good variety of good choices to have in the restaurant. The Tuesday deal is definitely worth the trip! Staff friendly and helpful as ever.

Came here for a work colleagues leaving do, considering there was around 40 of us the staff did an amazing job, making sure we were all right and that we all got our food. Yes there may have been a couple of dishes that came out a bit later but they did apologise and we all do make a few mistakes in our jobs. I organised a party of 41 for a work colleagues leavers do,sadly one person didn't receive there pre booked meal but it did arrive eventually, I feel staff dealt with the situation as quick as they could without any negativity, unfortunately these things happen with big party's,we all had a great time and look forward to our next visit as I find the staff very friendly and helpful

Excellent bespoke pizza. I asked for the regular Napoletana Pizza BUT requested some green chillies to be added and especially King Prawns (yes it costs a bit more .... but I'm not fussed about that as long as it is enjoyable)... and as expected it was excellent (5 Star Pizza) and very tasty (I have had this pizza twice know ... once at the restaurant and once as a takeaway and on both occasions it has been exquisitely cooked... Can't wait to return in the near future. Thank you.

We travelled to Bedford for a special family get together and around 50 of us descended on Bellinis. I had antipasto to start with and shared a pizza and lasagne with my husband which were beautifully presented and tasty. Really fresh and family style Italian food. I couldn't manage a pudding but had a bit of my husband's tiramisu. Again very very good. The way the staff had laid out the tables was great and it really made for a very sociable and enjoyable evening. The staff and owners were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food came out in a timely manner and I was impressed how they catered for so many of us at once. We will be back next year for our next family get together! Thank you.

We visited Bellini’s in July for lunch. We had booked for midday and although one member of our party was rather late, this was no issue for the staff - we ordered once he arrived and the starters were soon on their way.

Went as part of a group of approx. 30 for a colleague’s leaving do. All meals had been pre-ordered and paid for. Table was booked for 7.30-8 pm and starters were served soon after we sat down at 8. I did not have a starter. First main course was served 8.40 pm and last at 9.20 pm. Forty minutes to serve main courses to a small group is obviously unacceptable. When I realised everyone else had been served and most had finished, I called a waitress, who at first seemed sceptical that I hadn’t had a meal. She reluctantly said she’d go and find out but with no apology. Then the owner/manager came over, having checked with my colleague who had organised the dinner, and said I would get my meal but gave me a lecture on how it’s easy to make mistakes when serving large groups! Considering they claim to cater for groups up to 200 I would have thought that was something he should not boast about! He even insisted I must make mistakes in my job. No apology was forthcoming and certainly no offer of a slice of bread or even a drink while I waited. Eventually, at 9.40 pm, after everyone had finished eating, my lukewarm lasagne was brought out and as I started to eat the manager came back and started to harangue me again with stories of his ill- health until one of my colleagues asked him to allow me to eat in peace. I had said I expected a refund after such a fiasco and he grudgingly said he would give me one, but naturally, nothing was forthcoming. In conclusion, if you are considering visiting as a group, I would think twice!

I've eaten at Bellinis many many times over the years, and my experiences have been, without exception, wonderful.

A group of us went there recently for a family celebration. Delicious food, great service, nice big very well presented table. All staff were friendly and attentive, and we all had a great time. Not the first time I've been there and will go again for sure !

I went to Bellini’s with two friends last night for an informal catch-up. As ever, the food was plentiful and the atmosphere warm. I had the full-bodied funghi ripieni to start, followed a pizza with pretty much everything on it - really hit the spot after a long week.

A family and friends lunch celebration for 32 people that could not have gone better. Personal attention from owners Emma and Dom at every stage of planning and Emma's attention to detail meant that the five hour event was faultless. No request was too difficult and standards are very high in a sparkling clean and modern environment. All of the guests commented on the delicious food, chosen in advance by each individual from a lovely menu selection. The prior week we had been there as a guest at an Italian gala fixed menu meal and that was also fabulous. Food was served at our event in a timely way but allowed for the relaxed pace we requested. Wine recommendations proved to be perfect for the food and good value for very good quality. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Bellini's and I intend to return for evening meals and Sunday lunches as time allows in coming months. Bellini's is a hidden gem in Clapham, just outside the town of Bedford, and has parking outside the door. You won't be sorry you tried it.

My daughter and my God daughter celebrated their confirmation at Bellini's. Food was delicious and catered for all. The service was amazing, attentive and staff were polite. A big thank you as you made the girls day perfect - thank you.

The food was hot and tasty, staff service was brilliant and the staff were punctual and speedy. Couldn’t ask for a better meal!
