Very good Italian food, great hostess, she taught us some Italian, we had home made lasagne, salmone aromatico, risotto and carobanara, all cooked to perfection and very tasty. Would visit again if in the area.

Myself and my husband had a lovely evening, we both had Lasagna, best we’ve had, a side order of Garlic pizza bread with cheese was really delicious. Friendly staff and Rosella made us feel very special, will definitely be back in May.

We never miss out on dinner here. The food is lovely as are the owners Rosella and Salvatore. Tucked away, you might just miss it but seek it out and enjoy!!

We chose pasta dishes. Very disappointing , there was nothing authentic , cheep frozen chicken and mushrooms made the meal extremely bland and tasteless. Lasagne was piping hot on the outside Luke warm in the middle. Pizzas looked nice though.

Firstly thank you for accommodating us on just turning up without a reservation and secondly the food was amazing, truly one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever been too , and thirdly the staff and chefs are very polite , a truly amazing restaurant with amazing service, thank you .

A very popular traditional Italian restaurant. Based on our experience (we visited twice in our 6 night stay in Filey) you need to book. Good wine list, interesting dishes and excellent service.

We had two pizzas to takeaway. Even though the restaurant was super busy they managed to squeeze us in which we really appreciated. They were that good we went back again 2 days later. Grazie mille!

What a little gem here in little old Filey. The food is always superb. The owners, Rosella and Salvatore and all their staff are superb. Nothing is too much trouble. I can highly recommend this restaurant!

We have visited this Italian restaurant previously when having a holiday in Filey and thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately this year our meal was disappointingly ruined by an entertaining band turning up when we had finished our main course. The band was very rude and pressured restaurant guests for tips shoving their hat in the faces of customers who were enjoying meals! I found this very rude behaviour and disappointing that it was allowed by the restaurant, our previous visit did not encounter this experience and our meal was left ruined. I feel it is such a shame as the food and staff are lovely , however the rudeness of the band and atmosphere they caused has put us off returning. Please be aware if you are attending a meal that a band may turn up through the door and beg for tips.

Authentic home cooked Italian food at reasonable prices, we make a point of calling when in Filey. Best to book. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Six of us came on a Saturday. It was busy but we didn't have too long to wait for food or drinks though the servers weren't very friendly. Bruschetta and garlic bread to start which was average. I had the linguine with prawns and zucchini which is my favourite dish. It was pleasant but not as good as the one I'd had at another Italian in Filey. I ordered a side salad which was just some pale lettuce and wasn't eaten. My husband had salmon and was very happy with it, it came with a dish of veg and was plentiful.

As usual the food and service were first class, the only issue was the table adjacent to us who were rude to the waiting staff without cause. The steaks are without doubt the best in Filey and the Lasagne is definitely home made. We always eat here when in Filey and have never been disappointed. It’s unfortunate that on this accession we had to witness other customers being abrupt and rude to the staff.

The food was very nice! Unfortunately the service was incredibly slow & the staff were rude! Our food was 45 mins late and the excuse - "cant you see that we are busy? " was said with No apology or explanation! We had basic menu dishes - nothing special - and neither the surly waitress nor the lady owner made any effort to be polite! Shame - nice restaurant - ruined by rude customer service!

This restaurant is just superb from start to finish. The quality of the food is great and a superb menu including Gluten Free options. The pizza bases are just right and a fantastic choice of toppings. Prices are reasonable and service good.

Didn't book as it was Tuesday night. Table for 4. Seated straight away. Seemed like a family restaurant. Knowledgeable about wine and food. Lovely friendly atmosphere, nice to see families with very well behaved children eating there. Food was cooked beautifully. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stayed at a nearby Haven and decided to come here for dinner. The food was great, real authentic Italian food. Even the ice cream was amazing! They also were really good with our young child, who was the only child there and a little bit restless! Would definitely go again.

Visited Tuesday 6th June. Very busy but the staff still had time to greet us. The food was freshly cooked and really delicious. The desserts were to die for. All in all a very pleasant experience. We will definitely book again.

What a find. Wish we had found it on day one of our trip. The food was delicious fresh well cooked and very reasonably priced. Unbelievable little find. Stopped off at Filey, had a little walk around and popped into this authentic Italian restaurant. Highly recommended the meatballs, the tomatoes based sause is to die for.
