Bella Italia Inverness in Highland

Great place for a family night out , we were 10 people , the service was quick and polite with lovely hot food all around. Perfect for our gluten free guest who said “ this is the best GF menu I’ve ever seen “ ( the kids eat for £1 was a great feature considering the generous portion size ) I noticed that they also eat for free on a Thursday. We will definitely be back to taste the new menu.

Good service, okay food but cold restaurant. The female toilets also needed a really good clean! Would probably not visit here again.

Cualquier parecido con la gastronomía italiana es pura casualidad. Pizzas de mala calidad. Masas que parecen congeladas e ingredientes pésimos y con precios caros.

It feels and appears an authentic Italian restaurant. I was even recommended this place. However that's not the case I think first things first the service was amazing and really quick I ended up ordering a cola an Spaghetti and meatballs an Italian classic. Over the meatballs were decent nice flavour but texture a little rubbery and chewy and the pasta was kind of dry and rubbery as well texture not ideal. It wasn't bad but definitely not proper authentic Italian which does say alot for a place that's name means beautiful Italy.

Her var fuld booket til aften, da det var Valentinsdag. Så vi tog frokost her og det var en god oplevelse. Vi valgte alle pastaret og der var ingen klager. Vi fik parmesan og frisk kværnet peber på efter servering. Tak for mad og god betjening.

Love this Bella Italia. Magda our server is amazing. We have met her a couple of times now and she is so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Obviously at the moment prices for eating out are ridiculously high. But considering they're no more expensive than other restaurants around, the service and food are excellent. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful place. Staff are incredible but I'm afraid the pizza is not the best, I can't comment on other dishes though, maybe it was just an unlucky night

Superb service and excellent food.

A lovely ambience and fast service. We hadn't pre-booked but they were able to fit us in us a family of six (including some small people!) and seat us straight away, despite being a busy Saturday lunchtime. The portion sizes were reasonable and particularly generous for the children's menu. A lovely treat for us all

Quick service,staff cleaning was excellent. Cleaned every table,menu,even salt shaker,tables and chairs.

Disgusting. Food not hot and congealed, plates chipped. Ladies toilet disgusting enough to stop our wives from entering. If this is what we are offering tourists, Scotland is a sorry place.

I had a pizza margarita... But made a social request to add a topping non included on the menu. They happily did that along with some requests like ordering garlic butter on the side. Very friendly staff as well.

Food is atrocious and pathetic. Pizza was alright but the pasta (especially Carbonara) lacked authenticity and does not taste like pasta at all !!! Would never come back again unless it's for the desserts which were decent.

On entry we were immediately greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table. The waiter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable on menu items. Food was if excellent quality and quickly served. I would highly recommend

0 stars for food. Probably the worst food I have ever had. It's hard to mess up chicken wings, but they find a way. Calamari is soggy and terrible. It's a frozen product for sure. Way overpriced. I would be embarrassed to work there. Avoid this place...you will be glad you did. Awful

Am I too demanding? I would just like to get what I pay for. As a reminder, 2 adults and 2 children. 2 kids menu Garlic bread, pizza, ice cream and apple juice. Garlic bread, pasta bolognaise, ice cream and orange juice. Spicy sausage + red wine Chicken Milanese + red wine So, let's go. looking back to the photos, all looks good and well cooked. At first, as usual order taken and served quickly with drinks and kids starters. First bad point, the garlic bread was plastic. A bite and it doesn't cut. You have to scrub it. Second, the wait. Did we ordered so special that our meals need to be prepared and cooked for so long. It would have taken us more than one hour wait if we didn't ask. Just when we left a note was at the door saying that due to shortage in staff the wait would be longer than expected. Third and the worst, a hair in the Milanese. I was exhausted, it cut appetites. I said to myself it wasn't worst to waist any more time in there to ask for another hour. Are the sieved light another way to mask the food freshness? I think so. I thought my previous experiences within Bella Italia was isolated. Unfortunately I strongly feel that there's no proper chef. And all can be for chopping frozen pizza, boiling pasta and reheat sauce. To whom it may concerns. Dom

Delivery Order: The food arrived on time and it was hot The proportions though for how much it costs were ridiculous. The pizza was 10 inches at best and was about 15 pounds the pasta portion was about the same and very small. Portion of chips was tiny. It was nice but was not good value for money at all.

Me and my friends came here for one the girls birthday dinners, we were a group of seven. The waitress serving us was lovely however the service was slow. It took 30 minutes for our starters to come out and we had only ordered a portion of chips and a few flat breads. A family of four and two couples who came in after us were getting served their food beforehand. It then took another 30 minutes for our mains to come, one of the orders was wrong, my friend ordered a lasagne pizza however received lasagne pasta. Kindly the gave her lasagne pizza, no charge. I understand that you are understaffed but serving families that come in after is annoying.

The menu was extensive and we opted for pizza which was delicious. The staff were lovely, as were the cocktails.

The waitress that served me was great and the Malbec was ok. They had run out of loads of stuff so I just ordered a pizza (with mushrooms sorry run out!) I preferred the Aldi pizza I had to this one it was tasteless without doubt the worst Bella I’ve ever eaten in I won’t be going into anymore.

I went with my elderly mother, and ordered pizza for myself and risotto for my mother. The waitress came back to say there was no risotto. I then helped my mother to choose again, and she selected a lentil bolognese. Someone came back to say they didn't have any. I had to help my mother make a third selection. I can safely say that my pizza was revolting. It came with a serated knife. I discovered why it was thought I would need a serrated knife. I had to saw furiously to get through the base. In the end, I had to chew pieces off. See photo showing the base. Having waited so long for the food, I couldn't be bothered taking issue with the state of it. We left as soon as we could. Never again.

Real Italian restaurant. The waitress was so kind. We told her we are Jewish and doesn't mix meat and dairy so ahe carefully thought what can we order and told us which dishes they can modify for us. The food was just great. So tasty.

Was lucky enough to get a table on a sat early evening without booking, pre book advisable! Lovely restaurant in the heart of Inverness. Service was quick and friendly, advising of any change to the menu, also asking If anyone had allergies they had to be aware of. The restaurant filled up really quickly, some people having to be turned away, which is a good sign to how good this place is! Food is delicious, the pizza was super tasty with the most amazing base. 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 beers and water £50+ Will definitely be back!

We didn’t plan on stopping here, but everything else was either closed or just about to close. We were seated quickly before a rush of people came in. We got the Nach-iolis (deep fried raviolis), carbonara, and the chicken Milanese. We ended up sharing everything because it was so good! They were clearly understaffed just like everywhere else right now but we got our food more quickly than we thought we would. There were 4 people serving food (we believe one was the manager, one was the hostess, and one was a bartender) but they were all very nice! I definitely recommend this place but just keep in mind that the servers are constantly moving and may not spend much time at your table or check on you as often.

A nice place to eat italian food

We stopped in here for dinner since we had our fill of fish and chips while on our tour. We ordered the Bruschetta as a starter and the Lasagna and Gnocchi Bites for our main, along with a very nice bottle of red wine. Very good and I would recommend this restaurant.

Had vegan and glutenfree lentil ragu, not meant to be spicy at all, since I suffer from IBS. It was SO spicy, even my partner, who is used to spicy food, found it very spicy. I asked for a replacement (plain fries) and they took...

Crockery was dirty, had to ask for replacement. Service very bad, staff unfriendly. My food was way too spicy, completely over seasoned, I asked for replacement and the staff started arguing with me in front of all the other guests. Very poor customer service. I was treated so disrespectfully and was charged for both dishes. Only after a lenghty discussion, and the waitress raising her voice, I was eventually able to only pay for the food I had eaten. Not coming here again!

This is the worst meal I have ever had. Lasagne Pizza new to the menu. A tomato sauce with dry pieces of Pasta on top. The restaurant is not clean, walking past kitchen on way to toilet, stuff on floor, not great. Door slammed every time someone entered or left, which was very annoying. Will never eat in this chain again. Sign on door saying short-staffed so not having a go at the staff, they were trying. Low standards.

Leckere Nudelgerichte und sympathischer Service

Purtroppo poca Italia nei piatti. Rigatoni riscaldati ma sugo buono. Polpette discrete. Spaghetti alla carbonara sono un'altra cosa. Questi sono degli spaghetti con panna e pancetta e forse mezzo tuorlo d'uovo. Si mangia tutto e non si butta via niente ovvio ma si potrebbero rivedere le ricette. Guadagnerebbe moooolti più punti. Servizio comunque molto buono e conto normale. Ottima la posizione.

Super Laden, das Essen schmeckt klasse, der Service ist sehr freundlich und sehr nett. Das Ambiente ist toll, trotz vieler Tische hat man „seine Ruhe“ beim Essen. Sie lassen sich manchmal etwas viel Zeit die Rechnung zu bringen, was sie aber mit dem Rest wieder wettmachen. Absolut zu empfehlen.

After waiting 80 minutes, my order of lasagna finally arrived and it had been cook for so long the pasta noodles had turned to paste. It was like eating glue. I couldn't eat it and told the serve. The server offered to the kitchen prepare something else for me. I said I wasn't prepared to wait another 80 minutes. I paid my bill and left. I would recommend staying clear of this place.

Was amazing , food and service brilliant , just the annoying slamming door , apart from that great restaurant , just need to make sure you book a table so you don’t have to come back in an hour or so but definitely worth going to

The food was tasty and service was good.

The food was delicious and quick, and Magda, our server, was personable and made us feel like we were the only table she was waiting on. The pasta and tiramisu were incredible! My only criticism is that the bathroom (including door leading in) could have been cleaner.

We went for a quick bite: pizza and lasagna. Food was oke. Toilets were not clean and one out of service. The way to the toilets was a labyrinth and doors were heavy to push. The front door scared the hell out of us😅

I wasn’t expecting much from a chain restaurant. However I was pleasantly surprised Firstly it was really friendly service. Everywhere was full but they managed to squeeze us in I had Gamberoni. Nice and spicy delicious sauce and a good portion of king prawns The quality was great and as I say much better than expected Service was fast and friendly including getting drinks Atmosphere was also good and upbeat

No es el mejor italiano del mundo. Comida sosa. Servicio lento. Las pizzas dejan bastante que desear. Las ensaladas no estaban mal del todo. Doy 3 estrellas porque era más o menos cómodo y céntrico.

Came to this resto for a Quick bite and totally loved it. Our server Siân was the best of all. She was sweet, welcoming and quick. Thanks to her our experience at Bella Italia was great. There was another waitress who came to attend us when we entered. She was extremely rude to us. She scanned me head to toe and talked very impolitely. Had I known her name, would’ve have mentioned it.

The food was delicious and the service was really great. We had to catch the bus and the waiter served us on time. It was not o lot about the quality of the food but also about how they treat people😊

I honestly don't know what people are talking about on spending more than 20£ per person. Bella Italia has a perfectly delicious 2 course meal for 16£. If you're buying drinks then it's obviously going to be more expensive but the food was more than reasonably priced in my opinion. The wait to get our food was a bit long but they're understaffed and we were made aware of that. It's still something they could fix by hiring more people but regardless the service was good all things considered. Bathroom was pretty dirty considering how good the food was. Also, if you're trying to get in after 6 without a reservation good luck.

Despite the restaurant being short staffed and the staff obviously very busy, that did not prevent them from giving attentive and prompt service

Me and my husband on our trip to Inverness went to Bella Italia, it's a must go place even for people who are vegan they serve delicious food. The staff is super friendly and helped us a lot in deciding our menu us being vegetarians who don't eat egg. I recommend everyone to visit them.

Geen fijne plek om te eten. Matige pizza, beetje zoetig deeg?? Spaghetti van mijn tafelgenoot ook niet echt lekker op smaak. Veel drankjes uitverkocht en super haastig personeel. Allemaal nog tot daaraan toe, maar wat de “deur dicht deed”, was dat we een tafeltje naast de ingang kregen.. en de deurdranger zo afgesteld was dat de deur echt giga hard dicht knalde, telkens als er een klant in of uit ging… en dat gebeurde tijdens ons eten ongeveer 50 keer. (Geschreven door de moeder van Tom in de McDonalds ernaast met een McFlurry)

I asked for an extra portion of mushrooms on my pizza. I got at most half a mushroom! It was so shrivelled my son had to point them out to me! £1.25 for half a mushroom is A RIP OFF. Would I go back? Yea, but don’t waste your money on ‘extra toppings’ on your pizza.

Food and service always good with friendly staff

Goed restaurant! Pizza was lekker, een beetje droog ( maar dat viel nog mee ). De pasta’s zien er goed uit en zijn ook heel lekker. We krijgen al direct water als we aan de tafel zaten. Het drinken en eten kwam heel snel. Je kan best wel reserveren op voorhand, want vaak is het wel erg druk hier. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk:) zeker een aanrader om hier te komen eten ! 😊

Muito boa pizza mas a carbonara tinha o bacon completamente cru. Os empregados foram muitíssimo simpático s e eficientes. A casa de banho precisa de ser pintada e não estava limpa

Un mojito qui goûte l'eau et un "manager" qui assure qu'il y a 5cl de rhum dedans ... IMPOSSIBLE le reste très moyen - The mojito taste like water and the manager said there were 5cl of rhum in it ... Just impossible - the rest very average
