Excellent service and very helpful 👍 not over priced loved it

Nice enough but would say need more trollies and better positioned, Bit tight getting through and maybe need some in the outside area near the plants and extras

A few years ago the garden centre was quite expensive, but they've brought prices down a bit, staff are friendly. Plenty of room to wander around .

It's a nice place, quite small but well stocked with friendly staff.

Great garden centre, big choice of plants and accessories, helpful and knowledgeable staff ,the staff always go the extra mile to make your visit special. Watch out for the rather large trout.

Great garden centre. Had bird feeders and pots, dog toys and birthday cards -good selection in all those areas. Lovely, friendly cafe. We had the breakfast and it was very nice. Thank you

I couldn't have been happier with the service I received - a member of staff even delivered my purchase to my brother and sister-in-law on his way home - this saved me having yo travel 30 miles to delivering myself - thank you Bell Mills!

Always friendly and the cafe is big and the grub is good

Very well staffed, but the goods on sale were over priced compared to similar establishments.

A bit "canteen" like in setup but had an excellent ham sandwich here and a decent coffee

My husband and I called for breakfast this morning it was very nice apart from the sausage. It was cheap tasteless and under cooked. What a shame, get some proper butcher sausages and yr breakfasts will be top notch.

Popped in for a coffee, shortly before closing and I was met by three lovely ladies who worked there, they were polite, very professional and the coffee was lovely, so much so, I had a second to takeaway Lady in charge, Emma, who is a credit to the business, we'll recommend

Food was good, over priced, had to go to counter X3 for cutlery. Hot toast put on top of butter. So no butter just liquid.wobt be eating there again.

This Garden Centre is in such a lovely location and has a great range of products. Over the years we have bought all manner of garden supplies from here; today I was collecting really good quality flour for my husband’s bread making. Pictured is a really lovely planter - a birthday present from my husband. There is a really good selection of planters, garden statues and lots more for the garden. Highly recommended.

The best latte in East Yorkshire!

The centre had a selection of healthy plants, I selected a set of ceramic pots which were displayed inside each other and priced on the outside. When I got to the till I was told by the cashier that the pots should have in fact been displayed and priced separately. This was very embarrassing for me as I couldn't afford the full set once priced separately and had to return them to their display. I am reluctant to return after my embarrassment.

Was extremely disappointed in our meal. We ordered the ploughman’s lunch with a side order of chips. The plate was half covered with almost white iceberg lettuce which was hard and tasteless. It had a smattering of grated cheese on. The ham was the only thing that was ok. There was a few bits on sliced onion and peppers. With coleslaw and pickle. There was no pork pie the whole thing was tasteless and came with a slice of bread and no roll. The chips were limp, Luke warm and pre fried. The fat needed changing as the chips were covered in black bits from previously fried food. We had two chips and left the rest. The tea pot was extremely leaky and ended up making a total mess of the table. The whole thing cost us 14.20 each. Extremely poor value for money and poor quality food. We are not going again. The kitchen staff seemed poorly organised and were tripping over each other.

Great place and there's a cafe aswell, it's good to park by the river and relax and watch wildlife

Went with Dau in law (to be...very soon) and grandson. Fed the ducks, had some lunch and looked round the garden centre....lot of stuff...reasonable prices. A great place for a little escape 😊

Cafe prices are ridiculously high. Disappointed with the range of food and rather shabby environment.

Visited on a Monday lunchtime in school holidays - plenty of tables indoors (and outdoors if weather had been better). The menu had a full selection of café favourites- Jacket Potatoes, hot lunches, we had salad with tuna & beef. There was a mouthwatering display of homemade cakes. Nice to see the open kitchen and busy staff prepping the food - the friendly ladies made us really welcome 🤗 (sorry no quiche today, as Monday mornings busy with paperwork 😉 but we will be back to try it another day 😁!) Lovely for a cuppa & cake or lunch and a mooch around the garden centre.

First time in Driffield to visit a friend. Lovely clean cafe by water with lots of ducks. Really nice food with an extensive menu. Garden Centre had some lovely things but very expensive. Sitting outside in the sun after eating was perfect.

Outside where all the plants were for sale looked very run down and plants in need of watering. Also in the gazebo tent where the garden furniture was for sale looked run down and abandoned. Such a shame really. On a plus, the staff were lovely and friendly.

Beautiful Garden centre plenty of choices

Took a real interest in gardening this year. And it seems like this place has everything I have needed to get started and continue growing my knowledge. Beautiful area too. Plants are well looked after, no complaints.

Popped into café just after lunch today (around 1.30pm) with 2 young granddaughters and daughter for ice creams, would definitely not return as although there were five staff working and just a few customers inside, we were totally ignored. Don't mind waiting when busy, but staff literally walked past us, doing everything they could to avoid eye contact or acknowledge we were there, so after 5 minutes turned around and walked out, taking our business somewhere else. So rude!!

Excellent place, crystal clear waters with quite a few trout swimming in there great garden center nice ice cream !!

Garden centre no staff about to help dissable people.two members of staff serving 1customer no where to put items to buy staff letting customers jump que never been to a garden centre that's so unhelpful to dissable people totally shocking staff not recommended and so un friendly

Good selection of items, nice location, nice cafe.

Went into cafe for lunch. Cheese and ham panini for nearly £10! Not a lot of cheese or ham in so had to send it back for more filling. The whole menu is pricy and quantity of portions has drastically reduced.

Excellent cafe. Best flour for baking

My husband loved his beans on toast and I had a bacon sandwich which was great . Good coffee, the only thing I didn’t like where the tables and chairs are too close to each other so if a couple sat at one table , we couldn’t pull our chair out.

Visited this cafe many times in the past.However was disappointed to see the menu had changed and the prices have shot up considerably .Hardly anyone in won't be going back won't go back

Went to the cafe which stated was dog friendly but what they failed to say was this is only outside. So summertime only. It was very pricey for a cafe around £7 for a burger (sans chips) . We didn't stay as it was freezing and we had pooch and children in tow.

Compact, with a comprehensive range of plants and garden tools. I was really impressed with the cafe, with friendly staff and good reasonably priced food. I could certainly recommend the veggie breakfast.

A gem of a cafe next to the garden centre. 7 cold bike riders arrived in need of warm refreshments and food. We were quickly served and seated and enjoyed the warm atmosphere. The food was delicious

I only visited the cafe, not the garden centre. Food was ok. I have eaten there before and it was better the first time. Chips were a little undercooked and coleslaw tasted strange. Not off, just not a nice coleslaw. But my garlic mushroom and mozzarella panini was tasty. They were great with my kids, providing plastic cups and picking up my sons dummy when he threw it across the room. I would go back. And the ducks outside provided entertainment for my two-year-old.

Quality reasonably priced food friendly staff that go out of their way to look after my mum she loves it there.

Visited today for lunch, you used to be able to get to the cafe via the garden center but now you access from the fire escape on the front. I ordered a Panini and Chips, the Panini was over cooked to the point that you could have used it as a hammer - it was as hard as nails ! Chips were ok-ish usual bought in pre done flash fry things not proper chips. Prices have certainly gone up as well, for a cheap n cheerful cafe the prices are comparable to some higher class establishments and restaurants in the area. Food here used to be not bad but since Covid the place has gone downhill. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.

Got goods at garden centre couldn't get credit card receipt the staff very unhelpfully wouldn't use that garden centre again .Staff couldn't care less also the so called person in charge

Good little garden centre, small but interesting

Cafe prices were extortionate! £2.50 for a toasted teacake. Coffee was like dishwasher and barely warm. In Beverley we get TWO teacakes and two very good quality coffees for £5. Garden centre prices were crazy. Tiny bottle of Jeyes Fluid £7.99, a litre bottle for £12.99 at Mole Country Stores. Won't be back.

Find all your garden items here and have coffee and cake, plus a whole lot more in the exelent restruant,don't forget to feed the ducks on your way to the car 🚗

Nice place to eat in cafe bya River, garden centre sells alsorts. Not that any plants though. Reasonable price.

We love this cosy country spot! The garden centre sells a wide range of quality horticultural aids, seeds, nutrients, garden furniture and naturally, a good range of shrubs, perennials and seasonal annual bedding plants.

I haven't yet been into the shop fully, I called in to see if dogs are allowed, good news, they are. There is the river running by complete with ducks, there is also a cafe next door, dogs not allowed inside

Nice garden centre on the side of Driffield beck. Good café on site, and a good selection of plants, trees, pots and other things for the garden.

Visited Sunday to look to buy a garden set. But so annoying that 3 staff members stood in a group behind till . And only 2 serving while one stuffing face and I we were told. This tills off . Just no manners. We waited ages to be served as 2 were serving one customer. . . So off we went to stoves at cranswick and bought our garden set there £850 . Won't be back to bells it's so expensive too . And much better places in area .

Confused we in store no organisation, and a little expensive compared to other Garden Centres.

I went with a friend, Fantastic cherry scones and pot of tea, lovely staff in the café very helpful and welcoming, great ideas for my garden in the shop when it's finished, absolutely love the horse made from horseshoes. I'm coming back with hubby Monday our wedding Anniversary to have lunch and feed the swans and duck's 🐤🐤🐤🐤

Even though it was nearly closing time at the cafe we were made very welcome for coffee and cakes. All the cakes looked home made and were very tasty.

Visited today around the third or fourth visit here. It’s surrounded in a beautiful setting beside a stream. The food is priced very reasonable and plentiful I had the light version lunch and it was I thought very generous portions, the staff I found were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.. keep it up bell mills and I look forward to seeing you again in the near future..👍

Worst coffee I've ever had in a cafe!

Nice cafe but garden center a bit overpriced

Microwaved pre-cooked food. No difference between large and small dinners. Large dinner came with half a roast potato, one tiny piece of brocolli, mushy veg and a warmed up small frozen Yorkshire pudding. The beef was thin sliced and pre packed and microwaved. Absolute rip off for £8.95. The steak pie my friend had looked lovely in comparison.

Arrived a little late and the ladies had stopped cooking ,but no attitude or frowny Faces . All the staff were pleasent and offered us hot drinks sandwich's or cake, Just the job . On a cold cycle ,a warm pick me up.. Brilliant

My friend and i stopped here for lunch last week whilst on a walk. I was attracted by the special on a specials board inside but was told that it wasn't on today. I promptly turned the specials board round so that other people didn't have the same experience. What's the point in having a specials board with specials which aren't on? What we had instead was average or below average. I had a tasteless mushroom and mozarella panini and my friend was also disappointed. the cakes were quite nice and the tea ok but wouldn't recommend it.

Love this garden centre. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and helpful and there is a nice range of garden furniture, plants and other garden accessories. There is also a cafe attached if you want a drink or snack

My wife and I went here a week ago and the food was not what we expected. We had the roast of the day ,the service was very good the staff were nice But the food was microwaved.

What a lovely place enjoyed a tea and scone in the front seating area over looking the river was nice seeing the ducks and swans. When looking for plants a member of staff was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Great garden centre. The young man who helped me at the centre and then, delivered the items I purchased is an absolute asset to this business - polite, helpful and thoughtful.

Situated by the canal there are seating areas to relax and feed the numerous ducks. There is a lovely cafe and a well stocked indoor sales area and outdoor plants area well worth a visit lovely friendly helpful staff
