Sadly the food did not live up to expectations. There was little engagement from the person behind the counter with just one word barks at us. We felt an inconvenience to what appeared to be an empty shop.

The food quantity is good, got the food warm until arrive home. Little confused about menu online as I couldn’t find one of the food I would like to order so I had to ring and make the order by phone. Crispy chilli beef I couldn’t taste the beef only the crispy batter. Other foods no complaint nice and tasty.

Placed an order for collection on a saturday night and was available to collect within 30 minutes. Received some free prawn crackers with the amount spent. Chicken Chow Mein wasn’t greasy and had good flavour. New items I hadn’t tried was deep fried king prawns which had great crisp to it, Cheese and Prawn rolls was interesting but the flavours worked really well together. Honey and Chilli chicken was really nice and wasn’t over battered, same with the Salt and Pepper Chicken, Chicken Skewers had a nice Satay flavour to them. The chips and prawn toast was okay but would probably take the Deep fried prawns over the Prawn toast.

We enjoy take outs from here on a regular basis.

Very rude counter staff today asked for half chicken balls and half prawn balls got told very rudely they don’t do that( even tho I had it 4 days ago). Asked for special chow mien got something else more like a soap. Rang to ask and he was very rude. Shame as iv been coming here for years. I’ll be going else where from now on

Never order from here! The have clearly breached the food standards agency requirements that food should be hot held above 63 degrees! My food was delivered barely warm and with rice being a high risk food we obviously couldn’t eat it! We were also missing a key part of our delivery which meant that the rest of our meal would be spoilt! When we called to raise our issue with the takeaway store, we were met with rude, unhelpful and unprofessional staff. We were told that we could only have a £5 refund on our £37 order that was going to go in the bin! The kept me on the phone for over ten minutes passing me from person to person but ignoring my requests to be escalated to a manger. As a key member of senior management in a catering business I would strongly recommend that for your own safety you do not eat from here. I have informed the food standards agency of my experience.

We pre ordered a collection for 19.15, when we arrived at 19.15, we told the pre order was for 17.15 & the food had been sitting there for 2 hours. No phone call & the apology wasn’t really that good, especially when I proved that the time was 19.15? Sesame toast was re done, but obviously rushed & unappetising, as was the rest of the food as luke warm!! Bring back the original owner!!!

Excellent and good value food. We have called for a collection and the food was ready so promptly. The set menus are really good value and we find everything tastes hot and fresh. Excellent Chinese in Basingstoke

Delivery driver nearly hit my son and took my car door off. Stupid speed on a residential road where kids are playing on the field. Twice I've been in to speak to the driver and the takeaway owner. Each time, I've been turned away or they have put their finger up.

Missing items and staff who can't resolve problems. Would never us again. Bad service

I loved the food tried king prawns with cheese was crunchy and taste good, the chicken show mein as well was great and beef sauce loved the roasted veg with it! Will order again!

It's changed quite a bit since Steve retired, and today was the first time I've been back for a long time. I ordered online and went to collect. The food was ready quickly, hot, and there was a good selection. As far as westernised Chinese food goes, this was tasty, and met my high expectations. I rarely eat takeaway food, but I will certainly return the next time I don't want to cook!

Good quality food and you get large portions, so its a must for a takeaway.

We order from here every fortnight, our food is delivered to Chineham & always arrives piping hot & tasty. Staff really friendly. Wouldn't go anywhere else and would highly recommend.

We have had takeaway from here numerous times and the food is nice.Today we ordered a delivery from them, with an allocated time of 7:15pm. We chased them at 7:45pm as no food had arrived. We were told it was out with one of their drivers but they didn’t know which one they said to wait it would come. We called again at 8pm and asked them to check with the driver as we still had no food. They called back at 8:15pm and said the driver had delivered already and gave a house description which did not fit ours. Turns out their driver delivered 2 doors away from us so we have requested a refund.

Excellent food good selection and plenty of it. Had a set meal for 2 excellent and on time. Good staff we opted for the book online and collect.

Ordered food online. Set menu with a few extras. Elected to collect at 5.45. Supurb hot meal which we could not finish. Clean, on time, great tasting meal. Easy to see why this place comes highly recommended. Will deffo be back.

Lovely food, sometimes the wait for delivery is a little on the long side, but always hot and a great meal. Only thing i would change is the noodles dont seem to have much if any sauce? But great with their curry sauce

when I saw there was no hygiene rating posted in the window.However given it was a Monday night when most Chinese takeaways are closed I thought I would give it a try. The man young man behind the counter was very polite, I ordered mushroom foo yung and egg fried rice. The dish itself wasn't too bad although nothing special.When I got home I thought I would do a quick check online the hygiene rating . I was disappointed to learn it was only a 3 which is just about adequate. A well run establishment usually gets a 4 or 5 so for that reason alone I won't be going back.

Ordered our first meal from Beijing House last night and it was amazing. We had a variety of food and it as all equally tasty. We will definitely be ordering again. Delivery wasn’t too long either

Under new management and just as good as before. Most (if not all) the old menu is still available and lots of new things added. A little pricey, but the quality is tops. New 'order online' is handy and delivery is fast

Great chinese, since they had a upgrade on menu and staff, always busy but a few dishes are not as good as before but still worth the drive across town.

We ordered several dishes and all were delicious except the prawn toasts seemed to be a bit overdone and did not have much flavour. Other than that, the rest was enjoyed by all.

Ordered from here lastnight as it's one of the only local Chinese that you can order online with. Food was lovely, pancake rollds especially. Good portion size, reasonably priced. Food arrived quicker than the estimated time and when it arrived it was piping hot. Very impressed.

Spur of the moment decision for Chinese usually order elsewhere but can only order via phone. These you can order online and was best spur of the moment decision. Food was really gorgeous and not oily at all which so many chinese's are these days. Order came really quickly too thought that might be because it was a monday night. Egg fried rice actually has some flavour in it too most just taste bland these days. Totally recommend these guys.

Always quick to deliver, this is by far the best take-away we have had in Basingstoke and we would go so far as to say the best Chinese food we’ve had in a very long time! So good, we have to have it once a week!

Chow mein chicken made with very greasy noodles and a very small amount of chicken, it's almost only greasy pasta

Tried a lot of dishes here, never had a fault. Banana fritters are awesome. Have tried a variance of meat and veggie dishes. Fantastic :D best in Basingstoke

Ordered twice from here and both time it has exceeded my expectations in terms of taste, quality and quantity. I defo recommend you this place when you just crave some tasty chineese food. Prices are reasonable too

We don't usually bother with reviews but have to say Beijing House Chinese Restaurant is the best one we've ever come across. Food was excellent, large portions, Amazing menu, amazing food 10/10 - We will be back for more ......

Very reasonable prices, good food, very fast and courteous delivery staff

Waste of 50 quid in my opinion... Order was mostly wrong and came looke warm! Order had loads of loads of mushrooms in every dish? I mean more than other veg and meat!? Call them and they replaced the missing items free of charge. Next time I'll make it myself or go to asda as takeaways are a waste as this one has proven.
