Rang order through specifically asked are they lunch chips refried ? Reply no way we dont do that here.Order collected absolutely disgusting chips were refried !!! Definitely won't go again not cheap either at 15.00 for two don't bother going head to Brandesburton much better worth travelling the extra mile.

personally,a lover of fish patties, or yorkshire battered fish cakes with scraps! this is my highlight each time visiting the area. cooked on arrival, unfortunately situated arkwardly on village corner/crossroads with no available parking.....But worth a walk without doubt to taste

Best fish and chips in Britain by a mile . Lovely thick lightly battered Cod or Haddock and hand made chips . Ring before to pre order your meal during these covid times .

This hasn't been a restaurant for some years, unless you count the outside tables and chairs. It is, however, an excellent "chippie". Friendly staff, great food cooked fresh. Hygiene is superb. Trip advisor should remove old reviews as they are no longer relevant. The place is under different management and has had a total "facelift" since those reviews were written. Yes, it was a badly run chip shop, but all that has changed.

First visit and a bit of a trek, but beautiful fish and chips. Fish cooked fresh to order, and did not not stick to the paper. Will definitely call again soon.

Fantastic. Only way to describe it, large cod each and shared a large chips, the food was fresh and could have fed four of us.

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Scarborough. Delicious fish and chips, cooked to order and to perfection ! Friendly staff too. Stopped again for dinner on another day after an outing to Farndale.

Although we had to wait for our food the fish was cooked to perfection. Each portion was freshly cooked and not left in a warming oven. The chips were also delicious and even though we lived a few miles away, everything was still piping hot when we arrived home. Best fish and chips for miles!

First visit. Next time we are in the area we will come here again. Good fish and chips. Only downer.... No pickled eggs

Lovely little chip pie, local to the area, open certain times so you need to check. Gorgeous chippy freshly cooked to order. Great service nice staff. Worth a visit, do phone orders too.

Situated on the main road between Hull and Bridlington . This fish shop serves the best lightly batterd fish and chips on the east coast . A must visit for foodies . Cannot understand why they are closed on a sunday even during the summer .

Freshly cooked fish and a large portion of chips for two people at a fair price served with a smile. Easy parking on the side road near the shop but closes quite early in the evening so check those times.

We have been several times now and always fresh and tasty.A little expensive but then you pay for quality.

As per the title, the opening hours have been amended to 7pm closing from 7.30. This might be a low season time. Be safe to enjoy this great chippy arrive before 7pm.

Fantastic fish and chips,huge portions and very good value for money.Found this by chance as we were staying at skipsey sands, just down the road think it was only open from 4 p.m until 7p.m

If you ever need a chippy this is the one to try, absolutely brilliant and very well cooked and very tasty, and the price very reasonable and the staff very friendly. 10 out of 10

Have passed this fish and chip shop on many occasions and it is always busy, kept meaning to try it but never have until today. The fish and chips were lovely, nice and hot and crispy batter and the peas were hot as well. I think it is the best by far in the surrounding area and will definitely be having them again when in the area, they are also very reasonably priced.

Very good sized freshly cooked lightly battered cod or haddock and perfectly fried chips . Very polite friendly staff , nice being able to sit outside at the tables to eat them .Only downside is they are closed on a Sunday [ could be their busiest day ] and a Monday . We always call in on our way back from the seaside .

Visited this evening with our 8 year old daughter. A good handful of people eating on the seating outside and waiting for food to be cooked.

I stopped off here on a recent trip to Skipsea sands because the chip shop there is a bit below the average standard so to speak!!I was pleasantly suprised as the fish and chips were really nice and fresh.I will defiantly use again on my next trip to Skipsea.

We heard this was a good place for fish and chips and they wasn't wrong, we thought the same. The large fish was was large with light batter. The chips was chucky and lovely and soft. Price was good.

También la señora dice el casero empanadas de pescado muy sabroso y muy agradable. Sin duda recomendaría este "fish and chips" (delicioso).

Estábamos buscando algo decente para llevar comida durante su estancia en el parque de vacaciones en octubre sands skipsea y descubierto este chippie. La calidad era muy alta como chippies ir. Goujons nos tiene el y dieron mucho pescado proporcionan suficiente extra para alimentar a nuestro perro como nosotros ella era uno perrito feliz como estábamos. Las patatas fritas eran frescos y deliciosos y el servicio era amable y rápido a pesar de una corriente constante de personas. Bien hecho y sin duda volveremos cuando esté en la zona.

Descubierto este fish and chips en una anterior visita a Playa Barmston, así que era una obligación en mi visita más reciente. Muy moderno y limpio, que conserva un pescado tradicional y menú chip. Había un montón de gente haciendo fila, pero el servicio fue bastante rápido y eficiente. Pedimos una buena variación del menú y todo era bonito y no llenarlo de grasa. Me di cuenta de que también puede pedir pescado al vapor si no quieres pasta o están viendo las calorías.

Well worth a visit the fish patties are amazing .slice of potatoes then the fish sandwiched between lovely crispy batter . Enormous portions.

Placed order after waiting to be told we don't take cards. there is no were in Beeford to get cash after 5;30 to be virtually set upon by I presume the owners it eats into our profits the tax man takes it. It's not worth it. So unless you've cash it's not worth calling at Beeford. Little tip to the owners PUT A SIGN UP TO SAY CASH ONLY.

Food is cooked to order and is the standard fish shop fare with the addition of fish patties - 2 slices of potato sandwiched around fish cooked in batter. These are called different things wherever you find them but they are my favourites. Good quality fish, chips and sausages the family were well fed. No nasty aftertastes and it was reasonable/good value for a place on a holiday route not too far from the sea

This is a little gem, love it. cant visit miss moonstone without a visit here. Everything is cooked fresh. you can call and order your food in advance.

Probably one of the best chippies in the area. I call usually on a Friday on my way to Far Grange caravan park where I have a holiday home.My usual meal is Fish Patties with small chips and peas. Really the patties are a meal on their own, chips are not required but I like a few chips.My tip would be to telephone and order if you want the patties, they take about 20 minutes to cook so if you want them ready by the time you arrive at the chippy give them a ring.As well as fish patties there are plenty of other meals that are fried here so pay them a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent fish and chips the only thing that lets the place down is the staff need to be a bit more friendly however the main thing is that the fish and chips are good :)

Since being taken over we now regularly use this fish and chip shop. The quality has improved to being the best in the area and the fish is to die for. Well done :-)

Had fish chips and mushy peas. Fish massive and delicious, not a chip fan but they were good. Place spotlessly clean and lovely friendly staff. Would recommend.

My family and I visited the shop last week and all agreed that the fish and chips were some of the best we have ever had, so much so we returned later in the week! The staff (also the owners) were friendly and obviously care a lot about the food they serve. It's definitely the only time I've seen someone checking every individual fish with a temperature gauge! As I say, beautiful fish and chips, even when compared to some of the national award winners in the country. I wish we lived closer!!

My partner and I called in at this chippy for our tea, on our way to the Caravan Park. I ordered 2 lots of fish and chips. Staff were unfriendly and unsmiling and they were the same with other customers. I can't abide bad service as customers won't return! It was expensive as well, we were starving so paid up. The chips were awful and the fish had more batter than haddock. The only positive thing I can say was that it was very clean, but that's about it.

So many apologies for fish and chip shops in Yorkshire, but this one is excellant, fish cooked to order as you enter and plenty of choice on portion size. The shop is bright and spotlessly clean. On a personal note, although well cooked a little less batter would compliment the first class fish. Very enjoyable.

Walked in ordered x 4 fish & chips peas etc the young girl said what can you repeat that so i did when i handed the money over it was grabbed like Arkwrights till i dont like bad manners or ignorance and i dont put up with it when i said please and thankyou costs nowt she just ignored me we finally got the food and went back to the car the chips were semi cooked the fish was average to say the least and the peas were boiled to death the amount of grease in the bottom was a real put off never again this is one to avoid bad manners ignorant and the poorest fish & chips in yorkshire AVOID at all costs

I mistakenly thought the "A" board outside saying open wasn't correct.The red and blue illuminated sign in the window was also wrong.The summer opening times in the widow recently placed were wrong.At 13-50hrs the rude girl in situ told us they were closed. (Everything else said they closed at 14-00hrs)Advice would be don't trust the communication from this business!

we know from experience that the chip shop next to skipsea sands holiday park is not good with miserable staff so this time decided to travel further afield for a chippy tea.this was not a good choice!the chips were stale like they were from the day before but I saw them go into the fryer as potatoes and come out as fresh chips!fish has to be cooked to order but the sausages that were sat there looked very sorry for themselves and didn't taste much better, overcooked and old.the girl behind the counter kept mishearing orders that were being placed and didn't look like she wanted to be there.we won't be using that chippy again either!

Popped in at lunchtime, had sausage and chips today and they were inedible. Chips were rock hard, had to throw it away.
