We are regulars for all you can eat breakfast. We served today by Chef Lorraine and her fried eggs are amazing. Very friendly staff who are very friendly and we were served today by Teresa who is quick to clear away tables and offer any help we might need. Teresa is a lovely lady and very good at her job. Jade is the Duty Manager working today and she is very friendly lady. I wouldn’t come anywhere else for a breakfast. They have a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks. We also come on Boxing Day for a three course meal and the food and service we receive is always five stars.

Had a lovely family meal this month at the Stag with my wife and kids. We go most weeks to be honest. Food is delicious and we always get great service. We were served by Lyndon the other night and he was lovely with the kids. Sorted our boys out with some stickers, toys and bubbles for eating all their dinner. Thanks Lyndon.

We had a lovely family lunch for my sister's birthday. As ever, the meal was delicious, all four of us thoroughly enjoyed the main and dessert. The service, as usual, was impeccable, in particular Robyn was so friendly and attentive to all our needs. Thanks for a great day .

Visited on the 12th feb for a last minute family lunch, didn’t have one bad word to say! Food was delicious! The mocktails are a must if driving so you don’t feel left out!! Served with a smile from start to finish by Carol and Robyn who smashed it! Even got me signed up for a rewards card, nothing was too much will 100% be back!

Absolutely the worst roast dinner I have had. Picked from Christmas menu. Turkey dinner with all the trimmings It tasted like the Turkey was from a packet . 3 tiny roast potatoes like frozen ones which were like rocks. Burnt parsnips rock hard carrots and peas. No Yorkshire pudding or stuffing and gravy was cold.

Went with friend to have Sunday roast we decided on the sharing platter have to say it was the nicest roast Iv had. Plenty of it loads of meat enough for three adults not just two. This place is like our second home, we love it here. Have always meant to leave a review but when we went yesterday Robyn who is always amazing went out of her way for our little boy. I would like to praise Ant and Laura the bar staff in the Stag and rainbow. A young man was standing next to my husband who's deaf and kicked off as he was next in the queue I apologised but he was foul-mouthed so I gave him a taste of his medicine. I apologised to Ant who served my husband and let the yob carry on. When we sat down Laura passed a note to apologise and try not let the incident upset your evening. Well done the two of you it just just shows people care. And this was are first meal out due to my husband breaking his leg badly and losing his hearing so we thought we celebrate are 44 anniversary at the beefeater. Service has gone downhill here! Still sat here tonight writing this review. They sent my gammon out very undercooked but burnt? Grill obviously wayyyyy too high! Sent it back for it to come back out even more burnt and still undercooked, with a piece of it missing🤣 think the chef ate some haha but they let the sides go cold. Even though they messed up they didn’t bother to redo the side order so the full meal was hot? My boyfriend and I frequently attend here and that will no longer be the case.
