We come here for breakfast quite alot. Danny is always very welcoming and looks after us all no matter how busy he will go out of his way to ensure we are all good. Daniel is really lovely too and always on the go making sure food is fresh and stocked up and always there to help when asked. Cannot fault it at all

I visited the observatory for lunch today with my elderly mother, It’s her favourite place to come. The food is really good but it’s the outstanding service that we come back for. Anna is always so welcoming and friendly, she brightens my mums day with her smile and chit chat. Well done beefeater, it’s the accomplished staff that make the observatory our go to place to eat.

The food was very nice but the waitress was rushed off her feet and it took a long time for our food to arrive. One person's dessert arrived at least 10 minutes before everyone else's meaning they had finished it long before anyone else received theirs. We also found there was a vary cold draft from the air conditioning. We did mention this to the waitress but nothing seemed to change.

The Sunday lunch was really nice I would recommend it to anyone and yhe service was really good as well. We were served by Sophie who was really good at her job and very pleasant and always smiling 😃

Great food and menu but the bill was disappointing! They overcharged us on kids menu (put through as 2 2 courses instead of 2 3 courses and added desserts separately) Also didn't get refillable soft drinks as they gave us full fat coke so charged double on that. The kids also had cheese on burgers which was offered (no mention of extra cost) and then also charged for! Really disappointed as great place, great food and service was good but unfortunately the extras on the bill mean we won't recommend or return.

I last ate at this restaurant 22 years ago just before I moved to Yorkshire! So on a visit to the space centre with my grand children we booked for “old time sake!” I didn’t have great expectations as I couldn’t believe it was still there & still a beefeater & I remembered it as a mediocre restaurant! But to my surprise it was really really lovely!Great food although lots of issues with supplies, great staff & service & we really enjoyed it! I take mediocre back….it’s a fab restaurant & will gladly visit again when I’m next in Leicester.

Met friends for a catch up and had never visited so wasn’t sure what to expect. Ordered the Smothered Chicken Melt which promised chicken breast glazed with BBQ sauce, topped with crispy bacon, mozzarella and cheddar and BBQ sauce for dipping priced at £13.29. What arrived was very different to what the menu promised. Tiny, thin chicken breast, overcooked, topped with limp broiled bacon and a small dollop of something that might have been some sort of cheese in a former life. The chicken and bacon looked like they had been cooked in the scrapings from the grill, they certainly tasted like they had and there was no sign of the sauce for dipping. In this situation do you cause a fuss in front of friends or force it down? I forced it down and can still taste it nearly 24 hours later.For £13.29 I expected a whole lot more and won’t be going back anytime soon.

Well half the food wasn't there and the food was poor! The staff was doing every job instead of just serving food or taking orders, management is poor!

Came here for lunch prior to heading to the cinema across the road. Although there is some items unavailable due to supply which is understandable and an industry wide problem. We was informed of the items as we sat down. The choices that were remaining was varied and catered for all. We had the chicken wings to start with and they were cooked well, crispy and arrived hot. We both had the steak which we upgraded to a sirloin and came as we requested (medium rare). The triple cooked chips are amazing! The beer and beef dripping sauce was nice and a good addition to the steak.

Popped to the observatory for some lunch with my partner. Met by Dave the manager, with a smile on his face and served by Shane, who was very attentive and had good customer service. Food was beautiful, both of us had the fillet and it was cooked exactly how we ordered it. Can’t fault anything about the place, although some menu items were missing there was still a good range of food to chose from. Will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic meal today at the Observatory restaurntent the rump steak we had was cooked to perfection by chef Steve. Katrina our waitress so helpful with our choices of food and she looked after us very well. We will certainly be returning again soon it's such a nice place to eat. Well done

Myself and colleague ordered the fillet steak and they were absolutely perfect. In the past that hasn't always been to case but we both had clean plates! His was well done, mine medium rare and both spot on. Breakfast was also very good.

Clearly must have been a bad day and this was not a five star today and clearly not what appears others have posted. Jav the server, spot on, great chap. Garlic breads, good, hot, not bad3x Smothered chicken, mozzarella almost non existent, must be very small chickens they use for the breast. Chips and coleslaw…. they’d have been better much better if they’d been bought in from Aldi over the road. Side salad leaves were going brown one ALL three and went back. One of group had some chicken dippers, a fast food burger place would have done far better. Steak and ale pie, not bad. Burger again not bad, not worth nearly £13 we’d had better in London the day previous for £5 less! French Fries, again Aldi’s would’ve been better. Plus point, red hot plates.
