Beefeater Bagle Brook in Neath Port Talbot

My nephews lunch burger and chips was great but I had a Sunday lunch with my little one which was awful. The gravy had all jelly bits in it and most of the veg deep fried. We left practically all of it and they didn’t ask why which always surprises me.

As usual served with a faultless mixed grill attentive staff by Mike Dan and Adele drinks always topped up Deffo return.

Good food good service good atmosphere all round good been here many times and alway been really good food and service……

Food, was cold. I had the bacon burger, very dry. Anyway, the reason I am leaving a review is because as a disabled customer it’s not to much to expect a functioning disabled toilet. When I approached it, there was no handle on the door, and the door wouldn’t shut, floor covered in urine. I couldn’t use it. I pointed this out to our waitress ( who was lovely btw), she said she had informed the shift manager and told him. I expected an apology or explanation from him but he completely ignored it. Very unprofessional. Won’t be going again.

As usual this place is faultless took some of my family for my birthday treat and the welcome from all the staff was exceptional. The service from Adele and Mike really made my birthday one to remember with faultless food for all,

Popped in for lunch on the off chance as it always seems full. Managed to get in, can see way it’s always busy. Lovely food and staff. Will definitely book next time

It was my husband Birthday and food was amazing.Hi had steak exactly how hi like and my fish was lovely. We are coming here for years and never been disappointed.Yan spoiled us all the time.

Went to the bagle brook for dinner with my family. Amazing customer care, the staff were kind and attentive. The food was also amazing. Delicious and fresh. Will 100% be back! Thoroughly enjoyed!

Called today with my wife. Disgusting is to good a word for it.The staff were inattentive to say the least. Uninterested would be a better word-not a smile on their faces apart from the time they were laughing and joking amongst theirselves. The food appeared to be thrown on the plate. If you want a decent meal I would definitely avoid.

Came here with my girlfriend for a breakfast after I finished a night shift and the service was warm, friendly and welcoming. They also had lovely Christmas decorations. The breakfast was fantastic eggs were nice and dippy and bacon was nice and crispy would highly recommend for any one

The food was badly cooked so much so I sent the calamari and mushrooms back because they were like bullets. Dreadful generic food .

Visited on the weekend as a party of 10 to celebrate a family members 18th birthday and we all thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were friendly and very attentive particularly Adele and Mike who went above and beyond to make sure the birthday boy had an experience to remember. The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was delicious and plentiful. We had a 40% off food voucher from the rewards club which we redeemed so it was great value for money. All in all a wonderful evening. We will definitely be returning soon.

Our first as a family to go out for meal since lockdown restrictions lifted. And we really enjoyed! Luckily weather was nice. The staff were efficient. Service of food was really quick! And tasted lovely. You can order now from your table via your smartphone by scanning barcode that’s fixed to table. You need to book table just incase outside area is full. Only criticism is that there is no outside shelter. So if you’re going to eat out, then make sure that there’s a yellow circle in the sky. Overall we enjoyed our visit. And we highly recommend

Had a very good and enjoyable meal. Service from Adele was excellent with good humour. Nicely paced service. All this while under covid rules. Exceptional. Food was very good, we finished with chocolate torte :-)

We were made to feel VIP! As though we were the only ones there-despite the restaurant being very busy they made time to make us feel special. The staff were really helpful cheerful and happy to serve us which helped make the night memorable. We give special thanks to Stuart, Rick, Milos, Dee, Kelly, Sean and Adam. The food was beautifully cooked, and we are coming back in 2 weeks' time. The restaurant is kept exceptionally clean by Susan and Adele which added to our safe dining experience. Overall a stellar team who know how to make their customers appreciated. We in turn, are grateful for the lovely evening you all gave us thankyou! We shall dine with you very soon - next time we shall bring the children, they'd like to try out the amazing food too.

Lovely date planned with husband after work, the manager seated me and informed about the app which I downloaded immediately. I ordered our drinks from the app which arrived perfectly. My husband arrived we chatted, looking at TV and commenting on the news. One very young man approached our table and become verbally agressive and threatening, assaulting my husband and requested to take him outside and beat him, as we had looked in his direction; even though he was seated under the television. The youth obviously appeared under the influence of drugs/drink. Being respectable local people, we called the manager and asked for the police to be called. The manager refused to call the police, even though the crowd appeared very young and unmanageable. We were asked to be reseated to minimise the disturbance, albeit the issue was not with us but with the attitude of the minor. We left he Bagle Brook, a little nervous of unresolved disturbance and the potential reprocutions, but also feeling disappointed with our choice of venue and managers difficulty in legally dealing with the issue of underage drinking and behaviour management. I dont think we be returning soon.

The food is always the main factor and it could not be faulted. The steak was cooked to perfection and the gammon was thick and a great flavour. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel comfortable even though the restaurant is not as it was pre-lockdown. Not such a bad thing as the precautions they have in place were very reassuring - the floor has very visible one way markings, tables that would be ordinarily close together are screened off, and hand sanitizer is available on entry. An overall very enjoyable experience at the Bagle Brook.

Excellent food as usual, staff are so helpful and friendly , will continue to recommend this restaurant to all our friends.

Excellent food and amazing customer service skills the staff couldn't do anymore for you and were really kind

We visited last week to make the most of the eat out to help out scheme. It was the first time I had visited the restaurant in some years, and I was pleasantly surprised by how warm and welcoming it now is. We were seated quickly and our drink order taken immediately. Each table had been fitted with clear screens, to conform with social distancing. Our food order was taken quickly- having ordered some steaks, the smothered chicken and scampi. This was followed by desserts of sticky toffee pudding and chocolate churro sundae. All of the food was delicious, and arrived in a timely manner. Our waitress was very attentive, offering several times to refill glasses and checking that we were ok. We enjoyed our visit so much that when we got in we booked immediately to come back the following week!We thoroughly enjoyed.

We are staying at the Premier Inn next door when we turned up there was a bit of a mix up but one of the managers, James Wellington sorted it so we could get some food. Really friendly and great staff. Food brilliant. Looked after us the whole evening. Would definitely go back. I want the whole team to be appreciated as we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. Dylan and Michael the Manager and his Wife Adele and also Kelly our waitress. They all went above and beyond to make us happy.

Have been coming here for years and have usually sat in the bar for drinks, food or nibbles. Came today and being vegetarian I was disappointed to see there one ONE vegetarian option. ONE! Let's be honest they aren't making anything from scratch here so putting some pasta or risotto on the menu would take no effort as I'm assuming they just warm it up. The one option was a burger which was made from a meat replacement (rather than a bean burger) which I wouldn't normally eat as pretend meat isn't appealing to a non meat eater. I understand the appeal to someone who is trying to cut back on meat but for someone who doesn't want to eat a cow eating a pretend one is pretty gross. Beefeater.....up your game please your catering to eveyone here not just carnivores.

The Beer Battered Fish and Triple Cooked Chips was a basic concoction fresh from the micro wave it felt. The ‘Triple Cooked Chips’ are McCain’s oven chips! The battered for the fish was no better than a Tesco value meal. The onion rings where burnt in the outside and uncooked on the inside! The refillable drinks where not refilled by the manager even after offering. The waitress was miserable and unforgiving when we explained our displease! I have a simple pallet and even this was displeasing. The 50% off from the government wasn’t even enough! You don’t deserve to claim that back. The fact it would of been £40 full cost is disgraceful. Beefeater you should be ashamed... not one swansea branch is worth eating at! Weatherspoon's has better class than yourselves so it’s probably time to throw in the towel. Thank you for letting us leave after your floor manager walks past us 5 times looking directly at us but never once asking if we enjoyed or wanted dessert. Obviously we didn’t but a offer to bring the cheque would of been nice instead of having to call miss happiness once again to brighten up our moods. Don’t waste your time guys just go to spoons! You pay for what you get there... beefeater just thinks a hefty price tag makes food taste better. Spoiler alert it really doesn’t! Luck enough McDonald’s is down the road to fill the empty hole left in the back breaking seating.

I live in Port Talbot and I’ve only been to this restaurant 4 times and from my 4 experiences I’ve had a mixture of opinions but sadly most of my experience was poor, the toilets are surprisingly clean, the food is nice, the drinks are nice but it’s the capacitythat I’m concerned about, I’m not sure what the capacity is for this building but it’s probably small as this restaurant isn’t exactly big. On the 3rd and 4th time I’ve come here it’s been full and no space for anymore customers, but the outside of the building smells of cigarettes and there’s a bit of pigeon poo. I rate this place 3 stars.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Much better than last time we dined here. Which was awhile back to be fair. Beef Burgers were spot on. And so was the spicy chicken wings to start. Restaurant was really busy! Great atmosphere in restaurant and bar too. Staff were friendly and service was good too. I would definitely book table here again

My wife, sister in law, brother and I had a late lunch at the Bagle Brook yesterday. Very welcoming and efficient serving team. Well cooked, tender, tasty steaks and BBQ ribs. Very good value for money and an enjoyable lunch.The Bagle Brook is always busy which is a good indication of how popular a restaurant is with the locals. Although we live near Salisbury in Wiltshire, we often visit the Bagle Brook when visiting family in the Area. Ample car parking and open all day.The Bagle Brook can always be relied upon for a rapid, nourishing and tasty meal.

Resturant was quiet for a Tuesday. Excellent service and humor from Adele. We shared calamari, I had Salmon and Hollandise very good. My wife finished with the Chocolate Bomb :-) while I had the Gin Fizz Sorbet. Every thing nicely paced and relaxed. Will go again !

We always come to this Beefeater with our family, and always recommend it to others. Tonight we came and got served by Leon from the Llanelli branch, he was covering there so that the lovely staff from Baglan could go on their well deserved works do. Leon was very helpful and really fast at serving, especially when my boys wanted extra chips and more drinks. We had amazing food and lovely service, thank you Leon for helping out tonight

Leon served us and was super helpful. Nice staff and a good menu. Apparently was covering the Christmas party of the usual staff. He usually works in the Llanelli Beefeater so on his service would recommend the Llanelli Beefeater also.

Easy to park. Good menu with plenty of choice. Teenagers. liked the extra chips. Nice atmosphere for family meals. Reasonable prices and offers. Good service apart from one waitress but helpful and courteous on the whole.

Popped in for lunch after a long bike ride with my wife and friends. We did not book but the young manager Dylan I think his names is sat us down. We ordered off the day time menu which was excellent value at only £5 a meal. The food was tasty, friendly service.

After the post man delivered us a page of 40% off vouchers we decided to visit the Bagle Brook for the first time and we were not disappointed. We didn't book and when we arrived it was very busy but the manager Mike squeezed us in. The menu was vast there was something for everyone. I had the matured Fillet which was sublime! The service was excellent. Nothing was to much trouble. Thank you everyone at the Bagle Brook we will definitely be returning next week.

I took my friends for some food and drinks at the bagle brook in port talbot the food was and tasted phenomenal, the presentation of the food was very good.The customer service was also very good our waitress adele couldnt do enough for us making sure we enjoyed the meal and if there was anything else she could do for us.I was impressed and would recommend anyone to go here and try their food

Lovely service by the waitress but an awful meal. What described on the menu didnt look the same as what was given on the plate. Sounded so nice on the menu and disappointment on the plate. Husbands food had a burnt burger bun with cheap plastic cheese and i had to look for the bbq sauce, cheese and one scabby piece of fatty bacon on my chicken breast. Over priced for the rubbish given to us.

My wife and I stopped off for lunch and sadly won't go again. The staff were very good but the food itself was at the very best average.

I visited the Bagle brook Beefeater today with my husband after it being recommended by good friends of ours. To our delight we had an excellent meal. We both opted for the Sunday lunch. I had the beef and my husband had the lamb. We got to choose how we would like it cooked which was nice. We were served by a lovely attentive waitress named Adele. She told us we could have extra roasties and Yorkshire puddings which was great as we were very hungry, free of charge might i add. The meal was very tasty and plentiful. We didn’t have any room for desert. We will have to try one next time.

My wife and I visited the Bagle Brook for lunch. It was a very busy afternoon and the staff were rushed off their feet. We were shown to our table and ordered some drinks. Once we decided o our meals we placed the order. It didn't take long to arrive and we were both very pleased with our choices. The food was really well cooked and presented. The staff were very friendly and I am definately going to return.

After arriving we realised we had booked the wrong date (oopsie) but the lovely manager was able to squeeze our large group in. We really appreciated it. The food and service was great. Thank you, will definitely return.

Went here after a lovely bike ride down the beach with my granddaughter. Shown to a table straight away. A young man took our drinks order, then a waitress came and took our meal order, a different waitress delivered our food. I had the fish off the lunch menu my granddaughter had sausage and mash off the children's menu. My fish was awful really over cooked dark brown batter, when I cut into the batter oil oozing out hardly any fish inside not edible at all! No one checked to see if everything was ok so I had to call someone he came and said would you like something else, by this time my granddaughter had finished hers and after trying that disgusting fish I didn't feel like anything. Another waitress who was really nice came over and said they were sorry and took it off the bill. She said she spoke to the manager and they are going to change the oil!! Sorry but that fish should never have been sent out like that ever. Never again will I eat here no standards!!

Just a few minutes off the M4 makes this an ideal stop on the journey to or from Pembrokeshire.Great food, polite and attentative staff.

Food was OK- fillet steak ordered but was not a fillet- Visited as I have a taste card which beefeater are affiliated with. Was told by the waitress cannot use as they don’t accept fri/day and Sunday. Showed her the App showing but stated that her manager has emailed as they are getting it All the time. NO DISCOUNT GIVEN NOF EVEN OUR DRINKS AS AN APOLOGY. -1 for service.

Excellent service my best thing by far was the cheescake. The bar staff were fab especially the young tanned lad xxx

Went for a family meal tonight, no room in the restaurant, so had good in the bar area. Got to say that the food and service was great, well cooked, our steaks cooked to perfection. Seems that the busier it is, the better the food. Thankyou!

Our party of ten visited the Brook on the 22nd of December 2019.

Dined here last Sunday evening, whilst staying at the Premier Inn. Didn't make a reservation thinking they wouldn't be busy, turned out they were rammed. Very helpful and efficient staff had us seated in no time (4 adults) and we enjoyed a delicious meal with excellent service. Same for breakfast the following morning.

This place has excellent service and the food is very tasty indeed also it is clean and tidy. Above all from my point of view it is excellent value with fish and chips costing less than at finnegan and equal in quality. An added bonus is that the fish is real fish unlike some restaurants where they serve some sort of jungle cod from the far flung that tastes like mud skipper.

Visited the the brook for a friends birthday and had a fantastic time. Great food and great service. Really warm welcome and fun night.

Quality of food and service was excellent as always. We ordered the camembert and fillet and lobster which was delicious. Would highly recommend this place.

This review is for my family who went down there today to eat lunch. I'm reviewing the lamb shank. So...it was too tough to eat...thin fried potatoes and all the veg was cold ! On asking was the meal returned ...the answer was 'I don't want to make a fuss '. Not making a fuss is why restaurants get away with serving crap food ! Word of mouth from friends is that the quality of the food is getting worse. Trouble is...there's nowhere else in Baglan !

We recieved some vouchers for beefeater; 50% your mains and half price on your first drink.

Arrived for lunch with the family, waited several minutes to be greeted and seated. We were allocated a table right by the main entrance. It was a cold day with a draught blowing through so asked for an alternative table away from the doorway. We were told in an off hand way this would not be possible, yet there were other tables available. It was very uncomfortable, we ate as quickly as possible and left. Would not return.

Food was amazing and service was great. Thank you to Caitlin for looking after us so well. Compliments to the all the kitchen team, also.

Went to Bagle Brook Baglan 2day been going there for a while now, myself & my husband both had the fillet steaks Cooked exactly as requested they were melting in the mouth so succulent. Triple cooked chips, salad tomato & field mushrooms also delicious, my husband had the peppercorn sauce also very nice but could be a tad thicker. A special thank you to the waitress Adele & her hubby for swift & friendly service they are an asset to the Bagle Brook.... We will be back

Starters, steaks and desserts were all cooked and presented to perfection - and with two meals for the price of one (as part of the Taste card offer), I'm eagerly awaiting a return visit. If you've never been before or haven't eaten here for a while, check it out - you won't be disappointed!

I organised this family get together and the whole evening was wonderful.

Having had a lovely meal here in Sept with my family, I returned tonight with my friends. We all had a very enjoyable evening. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy we were well looked after. A lovely atmosphere and excellent food as before. Would reccomend the dry aged fillet it was very tasty. My friends were happy with the wide variety of gins that were on offer. All in all another lovely dining experience.

What a amazing night we just had, the service food and atmosphere were second to none. All i can say is thank you to all the staff at this restaurant, me and my family tolaly enjoyed.... 😉. We will be back

Met up with some friends in the Bagle brook, was greeted by a very friendly and welcoming man at the door, we were seated very quickly and the service from the waitress was amazing. Would 100% go again.

Great service, friendly staff, steak leaves a lot to be desired. Had the 12 oz fillet, medium, came back v well done, and quite gristly. No complaints on the 8 oz sirloin, maybe that's easier to cook. Wasnt very busy either, so the chef should have more time to get the steak right.

Went out on Friday night to have a meal with the wife and a few drinks as we don't get out that often having kids... And the Bagle didn't disappoint. Meal and service was great and to our delight there was live band on in the bar, which were amazing! Found out the band (The Decades) are playing there on New year's eve so we have bought tickets for this and are very much looking forward to it.

Never ever go there again. Steaks were abismal, broke a tooth and mainly grissel . Claimed but they failed in every respect. Buy cheap, buy twice .

We go to the Bagle brook at least once a month and i can Honestly say we have never had a bad meal in fact we are going there this Friday 11 of October and always book in Advance as it's always full so I think that Speaks for itself

I have lost count how many times I have ate at the Bagle brook over the years we purely visit here as it’s convenient and the 40 % offer they give to entice you in.

Haven’t been to a Beefeater before but as we were staying at the Premier Inn across the way we decided to have a evening meal there. The staff were welcoming and the interior decor was very nice but service was a bit too fast to be able to relax and enjoy the meal and our drinks. We all had different meals and the food was average at the best. We only had mains as weren’t that impressed. Purely average and overpriced for the quality of the food but handy if staying at the Premier Inn as you don’t have to drive.

We visited as a large group of 8, we booked a table at 1pm. We were sat promptly and we all went for Sunday lunch, the options were beef chicken or lamb and most of us went for beef which was to die for! The food was piping hot with plenty of veg and there was an option of unlimited Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and gravy which was music to the kids ears! The staff were lovely and very attentive, we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and we will be back! Thank you to all the staff at Bagle Brook

As a vegetarian I had never considered going to a beefeater before. The name and decor was enough to convince me to stay away. That is until I arrived at the next door premier inn late on a Saturday night, extremely tired and very hungry. Thought I would give it a go. They were very busy but booked us in for a couple of hours later and we were sat down with a drink within five minutes of arriving and had left in just over a hour having had two delicious courses. Staff were so attentive and helpful. Big shout out to Adel who even offered me extra chips when I said they were the best I had ever had. My vegan burger was really tasty too. Portions were so big I had to leave some and that was without extra chips!

We really enjoyed our meal at the Bagle Brook. Lovely steak, cooked the way I asked. Brilliant service from our waitress Adele. Looking forward to my next visit

Had a fantastic meal with my family and friends at the Bagle brook on Saturday night. I haven't visited the restaurant in over a number of years and i must say it has definatly improved since my last visit. It was a very busy night. Every table was full yet the service and standard of food was excellent. We expected a long wait with it being so busy but to our surprise all our meals arrived within 15 mins. I had the Fillet stroginoff which was particularly delicous followed by mouth watering warm chocolate brownie. The staff were very busy but the service was top notch. Lovely evening. I will be returning soon to sample the rest of the menu.

Having stayed in the Premier Inn across the road I decided to have breakfast in the Bagle Brook. I was very happy with the variety they had to offer. My children loved the nuttella and pancakes and I very much enjoyed my cooked breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised to find that kids eat free which was an added bonus. The manager on duty was very attentive and my kids loved him as he made them laugh. Thanks for a great start to the day.

Today myself and my family visited the Bagle brook for my mums birthday celebrations. I have never visited a Beefeater before so it was a first for me. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be returning. The Sunday lunch was plentiful, very tasty and great value for money as we had a 40% off mains voucher that had been posted through my mother's door. The staff and service was excellent. Very attentive and pleasant. A lovely family restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Look forward to coming back. Thank you all for lovely day.

Me and the family went for a celebratory dinner for my husbands 30th birthday. We had a fantastic evening. The food was outstanding! Particularly the the Mixed grill and chocolate brownie. The service was amazing throughout the night. They couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely recommend this place.

Having booked a week in advance for a table of six. We were not advised that there would be live music on that evening. So when we arrived this music was extremely loud, the waitress couldn’t even hear to take our order. It wasn’t just customers complaining it was also members of staff. The food was not the best. Portions were small and not very enjoyable. None of us finished our meals.

Reasonable number of parking spaces but when busy/peak periods it's difficult to find a spot. Service friendly and fast, had steak and chips, cooked nicely and tasted great. Prices reasonable, had to leave our table part way through the evening to accommodate the band but found a table outside which was a blessing as it was cooler and we didn't have to compete with the band to make ourselves heard.

Ok. Good points, we were seated quickly, the steak was excellent. Bad points, chips were raw, childs portion, the sweet corn was missing and the bread was stale. My husbands fish portion was small despite paying for a larger portion. But worst of all was the service. Two waitresses, a manager, two barmen and a chef were bunched in the corner, enjoying the afternoon. Not once were we asked if the meal was ok. We ate it, because I couldn’t get anyone’s attention. I paid,but I will not be doing so again. There is a distinct lack of care here. This is a pity, it used to be great.

Stayed at the premier inn across the road. Lovely staff, quick and attentive. Food didn’t fail to impress either. Recommendations were fab and deserts even better. Parking outside,reasonably priced and fast service on top of everything else made this a rather pleasant visit!

This is my second time going to the bagle brook in the last few weeks. The first time the service was terrible but everyone has a bad night right. Went back again yesterday to give it another go and again the service was terrible. Lady serving was so slow and can be quite short with customers. Watched as one table requested to order and she told them she would be back in a minute, 10 minutes later she showed up. We ended up ordering drinks at the bar as it was quicker than waiting for service. If it was busy, I could understand but that wasnt the issue. I watched as management and staff stood around near the pass having chats endlessly. You cant blame the staff for getting involved when management seem to think this is okay. Living locally this is a real shame as there aren't many places to eat out. Food is mediocre but for what we paid was quite happy with it. Don't expect silver service but do expect the basics.

Recently visited here last week with my girlfriend. Everything was of high standard including the amazing food and high quality service. The manager Mike was very helpful and seated us with no problem at all although we didn’t book and it was very busy,100% would recommend and will definitely be visiting again soon.

We visited the Beefeater on Tuesday evening and were extremely pleased with the food and excellent service provided. We were served by a waitress named Adele; she gave great service, was very helpful, polite, and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely visit this place again.

Had a lovely meal in the bar served by a tall young man and short blonde boy. The general manager Michael corrected errors with the meal instantly. Bar staff were kind and really helpful. Will be coming again

Being a Baglan resident I often used to visit the Bagle Brook to meet up with my friends and family - not anymore. My last few visits have been ruined by shockingly bad food (my husband likened it to Iceland frozen thrown on a plate) and rude ignorant staff, namely the Manager who is dreadful. She speaks to both the staff and customers like dirt and is most unwelcoming. My last visit in particular was very bad, I had a handful of cold chips and a cold burger which looked like it had sat on the pass for an hour. To make matters worse my meal arrived much later than the rest of my table. From experience I did not bother to complain as previously I have been made to feel like a nuisance by the manager. Will not be returning and neither will my friends and family, a shame as there is few places to eat in the locality.

This is the most convenient place to eat and stay for our family to get together. We were a large party of 19 including 4 children. On booking I was asked to make a time that was convenient for them which was 6.45 . This was fine as we wanted to eat early. However we were not taken to our table until after 7 p.m. which was not good as I had adhered to their request for an earlier time than we originally wanted. No apology but as the restaurant was excessively busy sort of understandable. In the end we were all served pretty efficiently and the meal although not by any means haute cuisine was adequate and as we had tokens the very large bill was substantially reduced which made it all very reasonable. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is for the delay at the start which amounted to 20 or more minutes. If they know a large party is about to arrive they should ensure the table is ready so the party does not clog up the bar area and can peruse the menu for efficient ordering etc.. One excellent aspect is the range of vegetarian meals and they also have a separate gluten free menu. As we had both dietary requirements on our party this was a real plus point.

Disappointed with our visit. One of the meals was fine but the salads accompanying the other meals were disgusting. How a chef could send them out is beyond me. The salad was withered and slimy. I did bring it to the attention of the waitress who apologised but didn’t do anything about it. I brought it to the attention of another member of staff who did offer us a free dessert, this was appreciated but it was too little too late. At no point during our meal did anybody check we were happy or offer us further drinks. The food is very expensive for the quality received and on the occasion we visited the service was very poor.

First of all we were kept waiting for twenty minutes before our table was ready.

Had a great birthday meal with friends. Staff were fantastic. Food was great Waitress Adele was particularly brilliant

i had the sirloin steak with a baked potato and side salad. My husband had the ribs and chicken with chips. the service was slow but this was probably due to it being fathers day and the restaurant was busy. the steak was cooked rare just the way i like it . the ribs and chicken were good and my husband enjoyed it.

Our family used to visit 'The Brook' regularly but a couple of years ago things seemed to be regularly problematic with the food and service, perhaps at the same time as the rebranding, so we stopped going.... BUT, it's back on form now. And we're all very pleased to have such a reliable restaurant on the doorstep again.
