Beefeater in Wolverhampton

The food was bland and dry. Not really worth the price. And yes I know it's fairly cheap. The staff. We'll they where OK but took ages yo bring refill drinks. Also forgot the beans on one of my kids meals. I don't expect a lot bit this was disappointing

On a very busy Monday evening I was well looked after by Natalie and the rest of the team, brilliant service and very nice mixed grill 👌🏻

Food is fantastic just wish they would warm the plates first. If they do that. And make it a bit cheaper than it would be perfect

As usual friendly and courteous service All staff especially Yvonne Sami and Angela are on the ball Nothing is ever too much trouble for them They remember preferences from previous visits

By far one of the best staff team I have had the chance to interact with, especially the general manager, absolute lovely guy, if I'm around the area again I would for sure visit

My wife and I called in for lunch on a whim on Easter Sunday. We both agreed that we have never before been treated with such courtesy and kindness. Emma C, Sarah and the other staff are such an asset to your company. Our fish and chips were excellent to. Thank you all, we'll call again. John H

Fantastic service at Moseley. Leanne is brilliant. Genuinely cares about the customers and also their wellbeing.always asks people How they’re doing and a conversation is never too much hassle. A brief conversation which has saved a life tonight. Nice one. Rest of the team are class too. Alan and Nancy and Ed have some excellent staff Nd they deserve all the credit they get.

This is a clean, spacious and lovely Beefeater. The waitresses, Sam and Evonne were very helpful, happy and a credit to this Beefeater. The food was tasty and cooked well... Lovely pub grub 😋. Food Came out hot rather than warm which is also a bonus. It's our first visit here and we will be back. We'd also got a 40% off on main meals, this was well worth using.... Thanks ladies for making this visit a pleasant experience.

Angie was very happy and smiley throughout our visit and constantly made sure that the buffet breakfast was stocked up without hesitation. Booked a table for 6 for breakfast, we arrived and stood there for over 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. When we were finally acknowledged, we were told, "I'll be with you shortly." There was one waitress who was very stressed, running around doing everything, when another customer approached her for something, she pointed him in the direction he could find it in and as she walked past our party she muttered, "I can't do everything around here". We started to get a bad vibe at this point!! When the waitress finally came to us, she said she'd only got one table for us, which was by the front door, and we needed to pay upfront. We found this strange but had waited so long already that we didn't care. One of our party tried to pay and the card was declined so we used another card which was also declined, the waitress said, "The machine is playing up today". After several other attempts, the waitress just stood there, not saying anything. I asked her, "What do we do now?" and she didn't offer a response!!! I looked at the other members of our party and explained that I thought we needed go as we were not being offered any other options and the waitress didn't go and get any assistance or offer us any other options, so she just watched us gather our belongings and walk out. On the whole, it's not a good experience!!! They were obviously very short staffed, and the lack of management was evident. Needless to say, we went somewhere else where we spent over £90 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Beefeater are obviously doing a roaring trade if they can afford to turn customers away with so many empty tables!!!

Food is always nice but always seem a bit understaffed and can sometimes be a longer than expected wait for food.

Had another great Saturday night at the Moseley Park, Alan and his staff were superb very chatty and professional. The food as always was superb, well cooked with plenty of choice. I have to mention the hard working ladies who tirelessly serve all night and a big thank you to Leanne, Sarah, Sophie, Natalie and Georgia plus Carrina, Morgan and Ben behind the bar.

As a group if 8 staying 2 nights and having breakfast here we were looked after really well on our second morning. Some of us coming down last minute for breakfast were still given that service and not feel like they were a burden on the staff. A big thank you to Emma Kristo for looking after us. We will be back to stay again

Excellent breakfast and a takeaway lunch very good customer service by all staff, a special mention for Emma Kristo who handled all of us breakfast customers with gentle humour and kindness. We will happily return to both the Premier Inn and the Beefeater next door.

Another great visit to my favourite Beefeater. Looked after by Sarah & Emma and served quickly in what was a busy shift. I would thoroughly recommend the Double Crunch wings starter!

Excellent experience as usual at the Moseley park. Specifically excellent service in the bar by Carina, who served a cracking pint with courteous behaviour and Leanne who was running the ship well and quick to seat myself and others. Sarah & Emma in the restaurant were incredibly accommodating and provided tasty menu recommendations and were attentive.

Good place to eat and drink when working away

Visited sauturday night 9th March. Great welcome from Allen who found us a table even though it was very busy . Was looked after by Sarah who had great customer skills and was working so hard. Food was great and our first visit to a beefeater was excellent. Ideal location next to the premiere inn. We spent the day at the races and finished our day off with great service and tasty food.

Went for breakfast this morning and Angie were amazing so welcoming and nothing was to much. Even on a really busy morning. She is a credit to the company.

I have been coming on and off to this pub for many years . It used to have such a lovely atmosphere, with welcoming staff and sofas so that you could relax ...It has obviously changed hands . We were greeted rudely and made to feel unwelcome by the two staff that we encountered! The one saving grace was that the food was nice so compliments to the chef!! Never again shall we go there we will go to Berry Brook Farm where the welcome is fantastic the staff are happy and attentive and the food is second to none, cheaper and better quality. Poor show Moseley Park!!!! Ps. May I suggest that if the guy from Marston's wants to conduct a personal/business phonecall again that he takes it in an office . Paying customers don't want to hear very loud drivel!! I have given a zero for service and atmosphere and you contributed to that .

Absolutely brilliant service from Alan and his team! The pub was clean and well presented, boasting a wonderful “Mothers Day” display upon entering the business! The team were chirpy, welcoming and really very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, couldn’t fault it and will be returning for more! Dry, over priced crap food. Go down the road to the Morton Arms where the food is half the price with a better atmosphere. Absolute joke, captive audience food here.

Pretty shocking for the price. Go to spoons for a 3rd of the price if you want eat bad food, And I wouldn't recommend eating at wetherspoons to anyone!

Came today, booked a table but wasn’t ready when we arrived. Had drinks, but waited over an hour for Luke warm food, asked for more drinks after an hours wait. Two year old was so well behaved and patient for her dinner. Food finally bought our but could see it had been sitting under a heat light for awhile, wasn’t very fresh at all, had to ask three times over 20 minutes for our little ones pudding, kept being told it was coming (takes a minute to pop a scoop of ice cream into a bowl and bring it out. Wasn’t busy, one server for our whole area of around 35 people. Ran off her feet, woman i believe was the manager wasn’t helping her at all, come around 3pm another 4/5 servers arrived but was only showing people to tables and she was still left doing everything. No apology for the long wait. Food was okay but not hot or fresh, we were past hungry at that point. Service was terrible and nearly tops our worst one yet. Defiantly won’t be back. And £17.99 for a warm not fresh roast was extortionate for the service too. From start to finish for our meal was over two hours.

Excellent service from Sophie. Food wonderful and cooked just right. I ordered steak rare and it was perfect. Everything arrived within good time. Parking (disabled) right outside ( aunt in wheelchair) We will be booking again soon.

Food was very good and we had excellent service from our waitress Sophie. The only improvement required is the wait time when you walk in. On 3 occasions of eating at this restaurant we have waited more than 5 minutes before being greeted.

Our pleasant waitress was particularly alert to needs. But, still [after many months] the system can't get ⅓ discount calculations correct. It may only be a small amount per customer, and PointOfSale software may be notorious to implement, but a company that size still unable to get it right??? Come on!!!!

Place was very busy, lots of bookings but the kitchen was ill prepared, they found it near impossible to keep the buffet stocked yet they continued to allow walk ins to come in. I gave up on the end trying to have a cooked breakfast, as soon as it hit the warmer it was gone and was told 20 minutes to replenish.

Came a week before Christmas with a large table of 9 (1 being disabled and in a wheelchair). On greeting the manager couldn't do anymore for us if he tried he offered to help transfer my Nan into the chair and offered to help keep the wheelchair out the way of others around us. Greeted by our waitress (Jena) who again was super helpful, polite, friendly and couldn't do more for us if she tried. Drinks were ordered pretty quickly and then food orders were taken. It was explained at the beginning of the evening that they were very busy and multiple large tables so there may be delays. I think food took about an hour to arrive but Jena kept us well informed and we did have prior warning. I had ordered the ribeye steak with triple cooked chips, I must say it was beautiful and the steak was cooked to perfection. The majority of us ordered desserts and again these were beautiful. Thank you for a lovely evening to celebrate my parents 41st wedding anniversary 😊

Turned up for a booked table at 19:00 for 9. Didn't get asked about drinks for another 15 mins. Another 10 minutes go by drinks arrived. Order for food taken, then waited for 1 1/2 hours for it to finally arrive. I had the burger which was OK but very dry. Our server was polite and apologetic.

First time visit for my wife and I. Having a bite to eat following my Aunts funeral. The buffet type meal was excellent. Not sure we'll be back as we live in Brierley Hill, however, if we were passing would be more than happy to visit, have a meal and a tot Peter and Laura B 😀

Went for breakfast after booking a table online and all was fine at first. But while trying to use hot water which seemed to stop while filling teapot I asked a member of staff to help saying water had run out. She very abruptly said no it hasn’t I said it had and she said ‘I said no it hasn’t’ .She was very rude also the way she looked at us in disgust so I said please don’t speak to me like that but no answer . This is the 2nd time we have been and both times rude staff . I have worked in customer service for years and would never dream of speaking like this. I think customer service training may need updating please remember our returns as customers keep businesses going and too many are closing . A reply would be appreciated

The visit started off really well, when we first went in the man who seated us was really really lovely and I couldn’t fault him (I think he was Scottish) however we ordered our food and the portions were really not worth the money, we had a pud to try and fill the gap and we’re still hungry. Unfortunately there were some staff that seemed to hover around us and made us feel a bit rushed. While still chewing the last part of our mains we were asked if we were finished and then when it came to dessert while having a sip of my drink I was asked if I had finished with my food (I hadn’t I was just having a drink) due to this I felt uncomfortable to stay any longer despite it being quiet in the eating area. I have worked in hospitality myself for many years I know that it’s not ok to make customers feel this way. The whole interaction ended within an hour and I was quite upset, it’s a shame but I’m unsure if I will be returning for dinner, perhaps breakfast I might. Just my experience hopefully it’s taken onboard to prevent not happening again :)

We were told by the manager,that there was a new menu,what this means is higher prices, and smaller portions,the mixed grill used to have a proper chicken breast with it,now it is just a slice of chicken,about one quarter the size that it used to be .Even the chip portions have been reduced,we would like to say that the meal was cooked and presented nicely. We were seated by the staff next to a stone cold radiator,as a result we had to eat our meal with our coats on!

Nice quiet place to have breakfast. Delicious food. I visited the beefeater on Saturday the 4th November after going to the gym. I have never had such an amazing cooked breakfast at such a good value for money! Staff were really welcoming and friendly Angie and Leanne. They seated me instantly. Lovely breakfast, would go again.

Terrible service. Asked if there were any allergies, thrown a folder to read and then assumed that we knew the order process and buffet bar system. The waitress brought the food and announced one for “the allergy”. She was curt and abrupt while serving us and not once smiled. The host was then heard greeting another customer and said “good” when they said no allergies, “there are way too many of them this morning”. I found this extremely unprofessional. The poached egg yolk was completely solid and rubbery, the black pudding soft and the buffet not stocked up regularly. Overall horrid experience. They all need lessons in customer service and generally how to speak to people!

We often come here for a breakfast treat with the family and the food is always great. I have to also give a big shout out to Evonne who is always so helpful and friendly. Shes a credit to the company!

Understaffed on day of visit. 2 course meal took 11/2hr which is incompatible with working lunchtime.

Friendly and responsive staff and good food. I don't eat out often but the food was reasonably priced I think. Between us we had chicken goujons, cheesy potato dippers, fillet steaks, peppercorn sauce, onion rings and fries with a bottle of rioja.

I’d booked on line for two tables (1x7 & 1x8) I’d added a comment asking for them to be put together, the booking was accepted. We arrived to be greeted by Alan who launched into a rant about that he didn’t allow tables to be put together without speaking to him first, but he would allow it tonight, good start being told off in front of other diners as I entered the building. I then asked about the parking, which he replied ‘it’s off, we have some bloke walk round and check it but he never does apart from the time he told me I couldn’t park in the disabled parking without a blue badge to which Alan apparently replied ‘I told him it’s my pub so ‘f’ off’ charming language from the manager. Two outbursts by the manager and we hadn’t even been seated, not a good start to the evening. I can’t comment on the food as after another rant from Alan to one of our group we left. Until Alan is no longer the manager at this pub I would suggest you take your business elsewhere.

Beefeater in general has went downhill across the country, I used to come here with work years ago and it was fine but noticible lack decent menu selection, staff and decaff coffee was a negative for me.

Always a pleasant evening when we go. Never go without vouchers (there's always some available). Staff are very friendly, but if they are busy things can be easily missed.

I have got to leave a review just so Angie gets the thanks she deserves. A large group of us travelling from IOM for a tournsment (30 + people) so early start and everyone seems to come down at once. Thr lady who was working front of house, on her own , Angie I believe she is called. She was so happy and helpful, cleating all tables herself, cleaning them, resetting them, and assisting customers. She's a bloody hard worker, and still has time to dmile. Thank you so much for doing ehat you do by yourself.

We stop for meal yesterday 30th Dec got given a sheet of food not availble not a good start ask for 2 for one meals waitress said OK we order breaded mushrooms which were dry and been cooked then reheated we ordered fish and chips...

Great service and lovely food, went for my birthday and really enjoyed it, cocktails good too. Steak was lovely. All the food was good.

We visit many Beefeaters but this one more often. Its always been good but this time the food was outstanding and compliments to the chefs. Our waitress is always Sarah when we go and she's also lovely and goes above to ensure we are happy.
