Great place for lovely food, great service from Alison again, and a really good lunch menu price. The decor is very welcoming too.

Visited on a busy mid week evening and was pleasantly suprised by the service and food provided by the team! Our lovely waitress Lucy r served us and could not have don’t anymore to make our experience the best. Food absolutely perfect and worth the wait on a busy evening!

What friendly cheerful staff here (especially Jess). Food tasty and well priced. Always a pleasurable experience to visit here.

I have been staying at the Premier inn in Brecks Rotherham for the last 5 months. I thought that I had done a review on the Beefeater restaurant next door. But I had only reviewed the hotel, This was back in September. The Beefeater itself has a very good menu, including Gluten free if required. The food is to a very good standard. In five months, I have not had a bad meal. There is a very good choice of drinks in the bar but by far and away the best part of the Brecks Beefeater is the staff. It would not be fair to pick out individuals as the service is consistently good and to a high professional standard. Nothing is to much trouble for them. With a smile being one hundred percent guaranteed. One of the main reasons for me choosing to stay next door is that I only have to take a few steps to get some good food with great service. The staff really are the best feature and an asset to the company.

Called today for Sunday lunch, met by Jess, always smiley ,always friendly, My wife had the Turkey lunch, plenty on the plate, enjoyed it. I had Sirloin steak, medium rare, with a peppercorn sauce, lovely and tender, really enjoyed it. Nice easy Sunday afternoon, just as it should be, thanks to all the staff, special thanks to Jess, seems to know what we want before we do, great stuff!!

From when we sat down to when we got served there was an almost half an hour gap and every time we tried to get the attention of a waiter/waitress they told us they'd "be over in a minute" and didn't come. When they finally took our order the food took another 20 minutes and when it did come things from our order were missing and some food had already gone cold. All in all wasnt the best experience and would NOT recommend.

Jess was our waitress who was so polite, friendly and helpful she left an impression. She advised when some of the local shops would likely be open, what time we should book for breakfast and was generally delightful. Thank you for making our short stay at the next door Premier inn a very comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Haven't been for Sunday Dinner for a few months. What a disappointment it was. No longer do you get mash just roast potatoes, only three tiny ones on my plate. The others in my party got more and larger ones but they were hard and some inedible. No half roast chicken, turkey instead, but it was available on the other menu. The mix greens were peas and sprouts. Think they have sprouts and turkey left over from Christmas. Would have complain but had a money off voucher so just wanted to leave. Will not be going back anytime soon.

Was sent an invite to have a birthday `Rewards` main meal free. Decided to go as had some decent steaks ( after all, it`s a BEEFEATER , isn`t it ) there. Got there, and ordered steak sampler .....NO @+*&^% fillet steak!!!! Wasted time and fuel to get there. This was a Monday at 5 pm, not busy, so what possible reason could there be for not having any fillet steak in a BEEFEATER restaurant? Can only conclude that it was a cynical ploy to get people in but not offer the better meals ( doesn`t exclude the fillet in the small print ). Beefeater management need to think this through, customers will not return if you treat them with contempt. Walked out and will not be returning.

Another great meal at the Brecks Beefeater, food was spot on, atmosphere was great, it was very busy but the service was the best part. Jess is an absolute star, she goes out of her way to provide a super service along with friendly banter that makes us feel welcomed instantly. She knows our drinks order and nothing was too much trouble, she’s a credit to this restaurant. One of our family members has a dietary restriction and this was adhered to without any problem. We are lucky to have this restaurant on our doorstep, it’s a great place to eat, drink and meet up with our family on a monthly basis ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visited The Brecks last night It wasn’t very busy, and the menu has been altered, not as many choices! I went for the chicken and ribs, which was nice My wife had the steak, again fine Now the issue I have: Our daughter decided she’d like a festive dinner This was advertised on the rear of the menu and described as “with all the trimmings “ Now my “all” is very different from The Brecks as the sides are; Sprouts Cauliflower cheese Pigs in blankets Roasties And come at an extra £3.49 to £3.99 each. Surely they are “the trimmings”? Disappointed, seemed like a bit of a money making exercise, adding nearly £16 onto the cost???

Christmas dinner for a family of 8, I challenge anyone to find anywhere better than here! The staff were fantastic! We wernt waiting around, the service was fluent and fast, very attentive, and the meals were fantastic, arguably the best steak meal Iv ever had! Two family members had a traditional Xmas dinner and said it was perfect, Two children with our party and their meals were great too. We’ve already decided we are going back next year! Value for money, exceptional service and gorgeous food! Well done to the staff!!

Tasteless, dry, anemic meals that came in child's sized potions at adult prices. My brothers fish and chips meal was an embarrassment. 25 chips and a minnow for a fish. All of us had dry tasteless meals. For what they were, they were no better than a corner cafe but at silly prices for the quality. Avoid at all costs as you'll be disappointed and come away feeling robbed and let down, with a side order of scratched car because the parking spaces are so small. Such a shame where we wanted to go was fully booked. We should have got a takeaway rather than this poor excuse for a eatery.
