Becketts in Fermanagh

Sunday lunch at Becketts was a real treat. The food was excellent served by very friendy and welcoming staff. One of the best lunches weve had in ages. Beef and Yorkshire pudding was melt in the mouth. Vegetables cooked to perfection. My apple crumble was sensational. The 2nd time weve eaten in the Hotel it wont be the last. Give Becketts a try if you like real quality cooking served to perfection. Thank you to all the staff who helped my husband have a great birthday treat.

A hidden gem with beautiful presented menu and food and very attentive and friendly staff in a lovely restaurant , every course was perfect except the desert which was too sweet and too big at the end but it will not deter us from coming back as soon as the menu changes again.

Dined for my husbands birthday — must say the experience was a wonderful one. Michael and his team made us feel very special ..A birthday meal to remember with excellent food and wine — the chef attended us at our table which was educating .. over all a night to remember —

Top class from start to finish, arrived earlier than the reservation was for, however was gladly welcomed and seated! The first 2 snacks we got were a taste of things to come, each dish came with very different flavours but with the same creative and eye pleasing presentation. All the proteins were cooked to perfection with complimentary garnish. Looking forward to seeing what the head chef will bring with the change of seasons and will definitely return to see what's on offer. More than reasonable price for an evening that did not disappoint!

Greeted by staff & management with wine list and water arranged straight away. The staff were all very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. A bottle of red was suggested to suit all courses as we wanted to drink red throughout.The snacks arrived... WAOW. Who knew such a small bite could contain so many amazing flavours and textures. Every dish complimented the next with the flavours intensifying. The cauliflower purée with the pigeon amazed us all! Pure Genius!The pork, beef & trout all literally melted in the mouth accompanied perfectly by their garnishes. The dessert- as someone who is not a dessert fan I’m converted! So delicious and delicate. Perrrfecto! A lovely evening the best food with the perfect ambience, attention to detail is credible to all included. Can’t wait to taste future menus.

My husband and I enjoyed the tasting menu at Becketts for our Anniversary. The restaurant itself has a dark, atmospheric décor which set the tone nicely, and the food was impeccable and beautifully served. The waiter recommend the Mulberry Gin which was a delight. Cant wait to return!

Decor dull and tired.no wine list. Looking forward to going reading the reviews. Food not good tasteless look good but no substance. Chef appeared in a dull unkempt jacked to poor jus over steak. Dessert couldn’t eat it . Over priced poor food never return if it was free.

As above, nice place, friendly staff, very efficient, food is cooked well and served promptly, breakfast is delightful, all you might expect from a good, Irish, hotel and restaurant.

Had heard nothing but great reports about Becketts on Friday Saturday nights and they were right. The meal consisted of 6 courses and each one was superb. Each course is explained by the staff from start to finish with choices available and each table is visited by the head chef Marty McAdam. The wine list is reasonably priced and the meal is fantastic value at £35 per person. There is even a pleasant surprise at the end with coffee.Will definitely be back.

Wow!! Had the most amazing meal tonight in your Becketts restaurant. Was met and served by the most friendly staff and menu explained to us in a very professional manner! Food was just so amazing and as for the desserts fab!! Lovely touch at end of meal the chef brought out the petits fours and introduced himself! Overalll I'll definitely be back. Was here on Friday afternoon with my friend and have to say it was absolutely gorgeous. I got the CBLT sandwich with fries which was perfect. Loads of chicken and bacon and the sour dough bread was beautiful. Lovely atmosphere and staff will be back 100%!

This is fine dinning. Has no idea we would have to go with a degustagion menu but went with the floe. It was fabulous with enough choices. The service and theatre associated with it was fabulous. Value and quaintly spot on.

Decided to go to Becketts for the tasting menu on Saturday evening. Needless to say we were not disappointed. We were warmly greeted by Michael who expertly guided us through the menu and explained each dish on arrival. Food was absolutely superb and excellent value for money compared to other restaurants in town. The restaurant was full and atmosphere was great. Lovely touch to see Joey the chef coming out with our final course. Definitely a must if you haven’t already been. We’re already planning our next visit and bringing friends.

had a perfect 6 course dinner at becketts. they don‘t have it on the menue, but made specially for me an vegetarian menue. very friendy and helpful staff! very good wine, especially the „spätburgunder“! reservation is necessary.

The food here is excellent. I hear talk of other places to go in Enniskillen but this is the one at the moment. Fine dining at amazing value by chefs who are developing their ideas, refining them and producing very fine food. Excellent service too. Highly recommended!

We were met by a pleasant young lady who brought us to our table. The menu was explained to us. The food was delicious and we enjoyed all six courses with tea/coffee included. The waiting staff are exceptional. Overall a wonderful dining experience.

Had a superb dining experience. Received a very warm and friendly welcome from the receptionist Jade as soon as we arrived. The six course taster menu was superb and reasonably priced at £35. Each course was described by the very professional waiter Frank. All in all an awesome dining experiences in a very relaxed environment. Will definitely dine here again!

We had the tasting menu of six courses; three courses we chose ourselves and three fixed on the menu. The food and presentation were excellent, really good quality with a cheery explanation from the waiter. The wine list was a little limited but didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the meal. A lovely night and we will definitely return soon!

Had an overall excellent dining experience in Beckett Restaurant last night. The food was high quality and presented to perfection. Waiter (Frank) was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and very efficient. The Chef (Martin) came to speak to us whilst we were having coffee and presented some beautiful hand crafted miniature truffles and sweet treats which were the perfect end to our dining experience.

I had a nice few pints of Guiness in Becketts during my Enniskillen visit, very friendly staff and cosy surroundings.

I enjoyed the salmon on the first night and the steak sandwich on the second. Both were tasty, well prepared and served. Very tasty. Hot and very much enjoyed.

As I mentioned in my review of the hotel itself, the food here is superb. The menu isn't huge, but what is on offer is sufficient enough to be able to eat something different each day for a fortnight. Just to put it into perspective, you know you see the pictures of the food in a fast food restaurant, but then become disappointed at what you actually get? Well, the presentation of each and every dish that is served here, in comparison, is a work of art, including cooked breakfasts. Something else that I've noticed is that each item on the menu has a unique twist or touch that turns what could be considered a 'known' meal dish into something that's much better; something that belongs to this establishment and nowhere else.

Mi esposa y yo cenamos aquí una noche la semana pasada. El personal era muy servicial y amable. El menú no es extenso, pero tiene una opción razonable de cosas de la vida cotidiana. Yo opté por el bacalao rebozado y resultó ser una buena opción. Había dos porciones de pescado de buen tamaño, sirve encima de una cesta de patatas fritas bien pesada, acompañada de puré de guisantes acuñada y pickle dulce. Yo todavía no estoy seguro de donde pickle viene con pescado y patatas fritas, pero funciona. Toda la comida estaba bien preparada, el bateador en el cod son probablemente las mejores que he probado. El puré de guisantes acuñaron tuvimos una excelente sabor, la única decepción ya que estaba servido frío. Quince segundos en el microondas habría hecho toda la diferencia. En esta ocasión, no probamos el menú de postres.

Fuimos a la tarde del sábado para una comida para el cumpleaños de hijos. . Qué decepción. . Cuando llegamos no era de ninguna manera ocupados. . 1 par de estar en la zona de tener bebidas y una familia acabando allí comida en un área de 8 mesas. . Vino y bebidas menús. orden tomado. Mientras el camarero nos fuimos a comprar bebidas otro miembro del personal tomó nuestra orden de comida (nota de mis hijos de 12 años amigo que ella no escriben) pedimos el especial que iba a venir con papas fritas (bistec especial y no nos preguntamos cómo nos gustó preparado) después de unos 20 minutos mis hijas plato de pasta. Después de 25 minutos me trajeron otro que el inodoro volvió y el resto de nuestras comidas estaban en la mesa menos patatas fritas y extra fin lateral. Cogí el ojo camareros que venía explicado y dijo que buscaría. . ., procedió a llevar otra comida mesas fuera. Finalmente salió y con el lado pedimos además otro lado y explicó que la orden no era poner a través explicó que mi marido tenía ya terminado su comida y aún no había recibido las patatas fritas que había en el menú. . . Así que terminamos. lo que tenía y fui hasta llegar la factura. Cuando el camarero cómo poco profesional y otro miembro del personal que allí discutían con espalda dirigió a mí. . Pedí la factura y le expliqué que no era feliz. . . Decir lo siento. no obstante que el recepcionista tuvo tomó el pedido porque fueron extremadamente ocupado nota 2 mesas y 1 no estaba comiendo. Yo hacerle saber que no estaba ocupado por cualquier medio. . Luego dijo. cuando me fui para la mesa que nunca mencionaron ningún acompañantes me explicó que de hecho cuando salía para la mesa que no estaba en la mesa con la respuesta, pero su marido era ser le dije que sí que estaba y supondrá que ellos estaban siguiendo. . Obviamente. el personal de cocina no sé qué viene con los platos. . Explique que no comer en casa sperately. Ella sólo quería culpar a todos los demás. . . Debido justo. nos dieron dinero de nuestra cuenta, pero nuestros hijos comida de cumpleaños fue una verdadera decepción. . .

Nos alojamos en el Enniskillen Hotel, lo cual me han escrito por separado, pero me gustaría revisar Becketts. Teníamos dos fantásticos desayunos en este restaurante y no me puedo quejar. Había mucho para elegir, ensalada de fruta fresca, yogur, zumo de fruta, cereal, avena recién hecho (orden), desayuno irlandés completo y huevos hecho todo! También había pan para tostar, tortitas recién hechas, o scones si todavía estaban hambrientos. Tuve la avena ambos días y realmente lo disfruté y lo recomiendo pedir que junto con el de frutas que venían con los panqueques.

Como una familia y disfrutamos de la noche. Tomamos unas copas y cena carne asada. Comenzó con alas caliente. Las alas eran excelentes. Las cenas eran muy bonito que la carne estaba hecha pero agradable.

Tuvimos una gran comida con excelentes bebidas, el personal amable y muy servicial. Nuestro camarero Kevin fue de gran ayuda! Sin duda, volveremos.

Preciosas suculentos filetes, cheesy_nfp patatas de ajo, enormes anillos - delicioso crujientes de cebolla! un servicio atento y con precios razonables. Sin duda lo recomiendo

Went here for a night out with some friends. Relaxed atmosphere and great food. Steaks and mixed grills were excellent.

Becketts is a well presented restaurant with good furniture and decoration. The waiter service was excellent. It took nearly an hour to get our meal started. The food was excellent and very professionally prepared and presented. Another diner proposed to his girl friend, and she said yes. We all clapped. So it does the trick.

Great meals service and wonderful servers who made you feel right at home . Very busy restaurant so must be very popular. It was really great.

A group of about 30 of us ate here & the food was so slow at coming out. I had the goats cheese with asparagus to start it really was not all that...a really strange flavour. My husband had the duck pate it was good. For main course I ordered Duck which was tough (everyone at the table was finished before I even got my main) my husband had steak which was good but presentation was sloppy & the waiter just threw the steak down in front of him so much so the steak almost came off the plate. We never got those garlic potatoes that we ordered & my husband never got any sauce for his steak. The waiter explained that we can't cope with parties of this size well...I couldn't agree more...

First try since the revamp. The interior is great and bar very pleasant where the open fire over-rode the aircon! Unfortunately, menu was unimaginative in the extreme which led to both of us ordering steak. The sirloin was ridiculously thin but was cooked to order. The fillet however was ordered medium and arrived cooked to grey right through. Waitress apologised but as we had almost finished eating before we were asked if it was okay declined to send back. Hate eating alone! We're completely ignored after we ate and were charged full price (£21.50!!!!)for the ruined steak. Don't think we will be back,sadly.

this has to be to worst eating experience ever. we waited for 40 mins for simple starters SOUP bread arrived first and then soup arrived 10 minutes later lacked flavor and was just warm.main courses arrived about 15 minutes after starter dishes were cleared we all ordered 8oz sirloin steaks they were not sirloin steaks and they definitely were not 8oz in weight 4-6 oz maximum would have been my guess three of the steaks were ordered well done and one medium . one of the well done steaks was red in the middle and we returned it to the kitchen to be cooked as requested we got another steak with all the trimmings again about 5 minutes later and it was just burnt black we declined to order dessert as we just thought we had spent enough of our hard earned money in this excuse for a restaurant cold unprofessionally cooked food will not be back to becketts restaurant what an insult to Samuel.

Food was lovely and you get plenty of it. My husband had chicken which was really moist and I had a sirloin steak - melt in the mouth. Service was very good. Would definately eat here again.

Staff pleasant. Food uninspiring, especially if you are vegetarian. Took 3/4 hour after ordering for food to arrive ( not an especially busy day). Mushroom burger ok but almost cold, chips overly greasy. A shame because hotel very nice inside.

Went to Becketts for family Sunday lunch food of superior quality staff friendly and excellent service. Will be going back on a regular basis.

Ambience great, service great, food well presented and cooked to perfection, and the wine was not over-priced. Would definitely eat here again.

Went on a Saturday night.Wasnt overly busy. Food experience was very good. Had chicken liver(starter), quail(Mains). Very good portions, and flavour was excellent from both courses.Overall experience was excellent.

During a recent trip to Enniskillen, we ate breakfast every morning in Becketts restaurant which was included in our overnight stay at The Enniskillen Hotel. Breakfast was amazing - great variety of hot food and continental style. Juices/fruit were all fresh and my standard breakfast of poached eggs was cooked perfectly. Great coffee is also a bonus! Staff are great and I would come back here to sample the evening menu which looked impressive. A great addition for the town of Enniskillen - hopefully I will be back soon!

I dined here in January while staying in The Enniskillen. The food was excellent, the crab was to die for and my steak was cooked to perfection. The staff were vey helpful and suggested a really good wine to accompany my food. All in all I felt that our meal was very good value as the food was top class and really well presented, my colleague and I retired to the Hotel Bar for the night to relax and watch the football. I think I have a new base when on business in the northwest. I would recommend staying here and dining to other travelling business people.

i recently dined at this hotel, i had the steak dish medium rare when i got my meal (about 40mins later)it was as tough as leather, when questioned about this the staff were not very helpful and not willing to compensate for this, the portions were very average and overall experience was terrible and will not be returning at time soon, i had went out for my wifes birthday and by the time we got out it was to late to head for a few beers the service was that slow i have to sat it was the worst £85 i have ever spent, i would advise all if you are hungry on in a hurry DONT go there and if u do bring your plastic!!!
