Great food, great service and good function room! Had our 25 year anniversary work party and they were amazing at getting everything sorted and making sure we had a good night!

Worked for 3 weeks as a kp and was treated awfuly and didnt get paid properly i was also 15 so i wouldn’t recommend coming here since they dont pay there staff xxx

We recently went for a family meal at the Beaufort. All of those in the family who ate the burgers fell ill. They were quite obviously from a frozen packet, had been cooked and most likely reheated as they were so hard and dry that they were almost inedible. Two of the family had clumps of soil in their lettuce, the soup wasn't just lukewarm but cold in the middle (most likely another microwave job), and every time the door opened to the kitchen there was an awful smell of cigarette smoke that filled the restaurant. The children's burger meal (£7) was the same size as an adult burger meal (£16.50). You could maybe understand some of the above if the restaurant had been very busy and staff were pushed, but we were literally the only table in the restaurant. We now understand why. The girl serving us was pleasant enough. A shame to see what used to be a good local hotel become somewhere you warn people to avoid. I did email the hotel before writing a bad review, but no response - hence the review.

Slow service but not the staffs fault as so busy and so many tables. Asked for bill alongside drink due to wait. Cocktails were nice when arrived and staff friendly

Great hotel - stayed here on 1st & last nights of North Coast 500 trip. Outside bar was a welcome treat, food good and rooms, both times, were warm and comfortable.

We ordered roast beef dinners for two which were quite disappointing. They were delivered as requested but the quality of food was not as expected. The roast beef was very fatty and only two slices meant not very much edible lean meat. The veg was ok but the roast potatoes were overcooked and everything was swimming in the cauliflower cheese sauce ( which I personally cannot stand ) . Allowing for the fact that a takeaway roast dinner may not be up to the standard of a dine-in meal we found it very underwhelming.

Example of an establishment making the best out of a bad situation during Covid. If you haven’t visited yet, you must, not usually a hot spot for socialising prior to their outside adjustments but recently they have upped their game with brilliant outdoor heated seating, nice buzz and wonderful freshly cooked food. Lots of choice.The draft San Miguel is perfect, crisp and clean, you can tell they take their hygiene seriously.I’ve had a few friends stay at the Beaufort over the last couple of years and all have commented on how comfortable the rooms are. We would particularly love to try the Jacuzzi suite. Staff always welcoming and friendly.

Tuve la tarta de pescado (aunque un poco más de ensalada hubiera estado bien), con mi pareja. , Mamá comiendo pescado y papas fritas (con papas fritas reales no solo congeladas) y papá comiendo espinilla de ternera estofada. También comimos postre que también fue increíble.Es una pena que el personal y el servicio fueran un poco incómodos a veces. Tres camareras diferentes vinieron a nosotros con minutos entre hacer las mismas preguntas. Tal vez solo necesite mesas designadas y sería la perfección.

Después de escuchar muchas críticas fantásticas recientemente sobre la comida, decidí probarla. No me decepcionó, ambos comimos el solomillo (1 8 oz y 1 x 10 oz), ambos estaban cocinados a la perfección, sazonados perfectamente y, el bistec más jugoso y sabroso que he probado en mucho tiempo. Las patatas fritas cortadas a mano (servidas a un lado en un pequeño cubo de metal como parece ser la tendencia) eran de color marrón dorado por fuera, esponjosas por dentro, absolutamente deliciosas y ligeramente sazonadas con sal de roca. Los aros de cebolla caseros también eran increíbles cocinados en una masa ligera. Pedí la ensalada de col como acompañamiento para probar y no me decepcionó, super cremosa, ya que me gusta que sea en general una comida fantástica. Sin embargo, solo 1 pequeño punto para tal vez transmitir a los camareros. Nos preguntaron unas 8 o 9 veces si todo estaba bien con la comida. Tal vez alguna comunicación o un sistema para quitar algo de la mesa como una señal de que hemos sido revisados evitaría esto, sin embargo, esto NO es una queja ya que todo el personal fue muy amable y burbujeante. 100% volveremos y también recomendaremos a familiares y amigos. Felicitaciones a los chefs y al personal.

Been a long time since I dined here so when the opportunity arose to dine again I gladly accepted, I found the food to be fine, service was a little slow but acceptable

Estaba recorriendo las tierras altas y las giras de Rabbie me reservaron una habitación para 2 noches. Pedían 140 por noche por una habitación individual con una cama individual. No podría caber en la cama individual (tengo el tamaño y la forma promedio), así que me pasé a una cama doble y una habitación más grande por 160 por noche. . En hoteles com, podría encontrar la habitación más barata el mismo día, pero afirmaban que no tenían disponibilidad. No me gustó el hecho de que me estaban cobrando de forma masiva teniendo en cuenta que este es un hotel anticuado con paredes finas como el papel y sin aislamiento acústico. Me quedé en la habitación 23 y la primera noche, quien estaba en la habitación de arriba decidió tomar una ducha y moverse entre las 11 pm y la 1. 30 am. Me desperté 3 veces y tuve un sueño terrible. Podía escuchar el agua goteando dentro de mi oído literalmente. Raramente me quejo de los hoteles, pero el precio de estafa provocó una sensación de injusticia dentro de mí. Las personas que trabajan en el hotel son agradables, pero no parecen ser suficientes: la hora del desayuno era insuficiente y había confusión en cuanto a lo que podía pedir.Las tierras altas son impresionantes, pero los hoteles como Beaufort no deberían explotar a los turistas cuando hay una gran demanda. ¿Qué pasó con un precio justo por un servicio justo?

Went with friends for breakfast today, excellent service from friendly staff and delicious food! I'll be coming back soon and telling all my friends.

New Chef had a way with fish and veggies that was just amazing. It's a hidden treasure. Service was friendly and fun.

Tomé una habitación familiar. . pequeña habitación básica. . Tienes que caminar mucho para llegar a la habitación y todas las escaleras. . La habitación tiene una pequeña televisión y espacios muy cerrados. . Nuestra ventana estaba rota pero de alguna manera nos las arreglamos para cerrar. . Los artículos de baño estaban en un desastre. Sólo un lavado de manos y gel de baño. . Cafetera de té disponible. . no hierro .En general, me pareció muy caro. .

Todo el hotel se ve muy bonito, limpio, elegante decoración, etc. Fui a comer con mi esposa, su hermano y su esposa. Nunca he estado antes, solía beber allí hace años. El personal era muy educado y eficiente y amable. El menú no era extenso, pero alcanzó el nivel correcto, nada del otro mundo. Todos pedimos platos diferentes y todos fueron muy agradables y abundantes en el plato. Realmente muy impresionado. Los precios tampoco eran exorbitantes.

Awesome fish & chips, perfect cooked & veggie breakfast, excellent service, and no problem dining in the bar, all the staff seemed really happy.

Home cooked food and plenty of options. However it just didn’t seem pleasant. The chips has a strange taste and the peas where not nice. Although there was a great deal of effort in the cooking it was not for me.

Reservamos un almuerzo especial ya que estábamos fuera por un cumpleaños. Nuestra comida tardó 45 minutos en llegar, nos dijeron que la cocina se había quedado sin holandesa y que el chef la prepararía. Llegaron ambas comidas, ambas frías, con carne asada quemada y huevos escalfados. La botella de vino fue entregada a la mesa, tuvimos que servir la nuestra, lo cual no fue un problema. Nuestro camarero era muy agradable y lleno de disculpas. Éramos las únicas personas en el restaurante.

Only had breakfast in the hotel one morning but it was more than we could eat. Delicious and cooked to order. Excellent service.

Las ventajas del hotel es su excelente ubicación - es muy céntrico y todo está a poca distancia andando. Un montón de aparcamiento. Las habitaciones eran pequeñas pero muy bien decorado y muy limpio y acogedor. Teníamos una de las suites, que era muy pequeña para 3 personas, una vez que el sofá cama doble era no había espacio para maletas o casos.

Helpful proprietor, big rooms, comfy beds and deep bathtubs. This hotel has what you need and is walking distance to castle and church.

Had a great Christmas party night with friends, excellent food ,especially my roast beef cooked perfectly with a whopping great homemade Yorkshire pudding on top. I can highly recommend this place, friendly helpful staff as well. Well done!

Después de tener una experiencia terrible con un ser y ser reservamos en línea, encontramos a último momento en el hotel Beaufort. El personal de recepción era muy servicial y educado todo el tiempo. La habitación estaba limpia y tenía todas las instalaciones que necesitamos para una buena noche de sueño.

Buenas opciones para el desayuno y todo estaba buenísimo. Esposa del Scottish desayuno completo y era demasiado para comer. Hermana tenía los huevos Benedict y fue excelente. Yo y mi hija tenía la caballa y huevos y fue buena, aunque demasiada comida para terminar.

Visitamos aquí por primera vez el domingo por la noche y desde el momento en que llegamos, la amabilidad fue muy acogedor. Éramos 4 y 3 tenían filetes. Fueron fantásticos y preparado exactamente como se había solicitado, el estofado de ternera con repostería también era excelente. Gracias al gerente Terry y nuestro camarero Bradley para hacer que nuestra visita fuera tan especial. Vamos a volver a Inverness en septiembre y sin duda iremos de nuevo.

Elegimos este hotel porque estaba a poca distancia de tiendas y restaurantes. También está cerca de un bonito sendero junto al agua. Mientras que su ubicación era buena la calidad de la habitación era normalito. Muebles estaba cansado, el tamaño de la habitación era pequeña y no había ascensor aunque estábamos estacionados en la planta superior. El vestíbulo y la zona del bar era mucho mejor; nos pasamos unas cuantas horas allí, disfrutando de la excelente selección de licores. El desayuno está incluido en el precio y era delicioso. El hotel no vale la pena el costo.

Excellent for Steaks warm friendly atmosphere and staff always on hand to help. Various steaks on offer and very reasonably priced. Have been there about half a dozen times now and never disappointed so please enjoy.

El Beaufort es un hotel convenientemente ubicado, a unos 5 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad de Inverness.

While staying at the Beaufort it's well worth your while eating in the restaurant ...the quality and presentation of the food is excellent, offering great value for money, and with first class service.

Prix correct . Pas loin du CHATEAU et du centre ( la ville n'est pas très grande ) . Hotel assez familial , avec de petites chambres . PARKING très appréciable . L'accueil est apprécié mais ne fait aucun effort pour aider les voyageurs étrangers pour les guider de la découverte de la région .Le personnel est comme le petit-déjeuné , très correct mais peu emballant .

We have dined here for the last 3 Christmas dinners and have to say this year your chef raised "the Bar" yet again....wonderful wonderful wonderful is all we could say and especially your Roast Potatoes Chef....yummy, crispy and cooked to perfection. The staff can't do enough for you and you sit in wonderful surroundings close enough to the city centre that you can walk and enjoy a tipple from the bar.keep up the great work

Booked this hotel for 1 night on the 20/10/2016. Nice warm, large room with a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Enjoyed our stay at this hotel as we were given a warm friendly welcome from the Gentleman on Reception who booked us in. Then we had a delicious dinner in their restaurant served by two lovely smiley girls. Again we were served by a young friendly helpful young man at breakfast and what a scrumptious breakfast it was. We were then bid farewell by the Gentleman who checked us out at reception. All in all a very well run hotel with food to die for!

Cuisine très fine, bons ingrédients et très bonne viande! Nous y avons soupé le premier soir de notre arrivée à l'hôtel. Le repas est ni trop copieux ni pas assez, et le service était vraiment exemplaire.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The suite with the jacuzzi bath was a great plus to relax in after a long day trip exploring the area. Food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great hotel!

Booked hotel at short notice through booking.com at a very reasonable priceOn check in there was a slight problem with my booking and the availability of my room. However very quickly sorted out with an upgraded room.Room was spacious clean bright and nicely decorated.After a walk into town for a couple of pints I returned to the hotel for my evening meal.I had the soup of the day. Followed by a chicken dish. Both well presented and very tasty. Prices were reasonable.Had early start so no breakfast. All staff very friendly and helpful.

Lovely relaxing dinner whilst away from home on business, food was good and service very attentive, would definitely eat here again.

I booked a meeting with the manager about 2 months in advance to organise a surprise birthday for my wife. When I turned up I was kept waiting as the manager told me he let too many staff of early. 45minutes later he eventually sat down with me. During our meeting he was constantly getting up to do other things. I told him what I needed i.e a funtion room for family and friends.A week before my event I was emailed to say we now didn't have the function room we would have to use the restaurant and the price's for the meals compared with what you would expect at a top 5star hotel very expensive . Having been here 4 years ago and enjoyed my time I feel badly let down now.

We were having a lovely evening celebrating a colleagues retirement after 49 years of working. The meal was lovely and the staff very efficient and friendly. Then we went to pay the bill!!! When it was booked the rough numbers given were for 18 but only 14 of us were able to make it on the night. I had gathered money from some of my colleagues before hand including our colleagues meal and a tip in the cost. When we went to pay the bill came to £70 more than I had. This was because the other 4 meals had been included in the bill. I went to get my purse and told everyone that we were being charged the full amount. When i went back to the reception i asked why we had to pay for the ones who hadnt come and was told the bill had been made up by someone else and it couldnt be changed. I didnt have enough money on me at the time to cover the extra £70 so my colleague (whos retirment do it was) had to pay the rest!!!!!! It really put a dampener on the rest of the evening and i really just want to go home there and then. I worked out that the extra meals also had a service charge added to them aswell!!!! We didnt have to preorder our meals so dont see why we were charged for meals that would not have been pre prepared??? If we had to pay for the meals then we should have been offered the extra meals to take away with us!!!!!!!!!!! It was very embarrasing having to then go back and ask everyone for an extra £6 each to cover the cost.If this is the policy then this should be highlighted when booking.Are you allowed to charge for meals that have not been prepared????I dont think that we will be booking any christmas nights outs or celebratory meals here again after this embarrassing event.

Visited here for a family meal. Very nice food and staff very friendly. A short walk, down hill, into Inverness. Would visit again.

Very central for work purposes, great hotel with immaculate rooms, great food choices and nothing a problem for the staff. Recommended stay for reps who like a wee home from home.

Absolutely amazing food, it was faultless. The standard was exceptionally high and it was actually quite reasonably priced.

We enjoyed this hotel but were a bit taken aback by the number of steps and doors we had to negotiate to get to our room. To be fair, they did offer to carry our bags to our room on arrival. Disappointing that our towels, which we left on the floor in the morning, weren't replaced but were rehung for reuse, particularly as they were quite small and only good for one use anyway.

Went on Friday the 27 of November for a meal for my mothers 70 birthday my partner and I both had fish and am Saturday we were both sick the restaurant was empty prices far to high definitely not the Beaufort of old such a shame it was so good years ago but I won't go back.

We stayed at Beaufort hotel in early July, for three nights, and we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there. It was the best food in town, starting with hearty breakfast, great lounge menu (my favorite, chicken liver and madeira parfait, delicious battered Scottish haddock, excellent soups), dinner menu with great pan sear scallops, pear and prosciutto salad, and my favorite all seafood main courses. We loved the ambiance, service and food. Staying and dining and Beaufort was an overall amazing experience.

We went here because previous reviews were all positive/good even though it was number 38.I do not know where the other reviewers had dinner, but it definately was not the same restaurant.Waitress must have been new in the job because she hardly new anything - if you ask a question, she first had to go off and find out.Food is not good. We had 2 curries and 2 steaks. Curries were VERY bland, and one of the steaks (rump) was overcooked and not good. Plating/presentation not good either. Blue cheese sauce a disaster.White wine was at room temperature (not cold) and the bottle of still water was warm.All in all, a very dissapointing experience.Definately not up to standard.

Had a great meal here on Saturday night. Fantastic attentive staff nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend the steaks.

Scallops to die for and a steak cooked to perfection for me, the better half had the pate and duck and was reluctant to share because it was too good! Fantastic, well done guys!

Found this hotel by accident as my normal one was fully booked, and what a great find. Highland hospitality at its best. Friendliest staff from the front of house to the cleaners. Lots of parking, and wifi that actually works. Will certainly return. Highly recommend this jewel in the highland capital.

Stayed another few nights in this first class hotel. Once again a faultless stay. Staff so welcoming and accommodating. Definitely a jewel in the accommodation crown of Inverness. This hotel is now our top choice in Inverness.Will certainly return in the near future.

Called in here on a recent trip to Inverness and surrounding areas for a meal with mom - found it by chance when we drove past. Was quiet enough but few people enjoying football on tv while we dined so good atmosphere. We both had the roast beef meal - was tasty but was a bit on the dear side. Staff were helpful and friendly and kept quiet busy between the bar and the hotel check in's.

Dined here two out of four nights during a recent trip to Inverness. Lovely friendly atmosphere. staff couldn't do enough for you. Food was really nice, piping hot, defo fresh produce used. Well worth a visit, was going to stay here aswell but fully booked and I can see why. Hope to stay here sometime soon. The staff are a credit to this Hotel.

Stopped in for dinner here on a recommendation by my Father who stays here on business. Absolutley delicious dinner. I had saddle of venison which was cooked perfectly and my partner had beef stroganoff which she found very tasty. Service couldn't be faulted. Excellent draught Tennent's lager.

Very clean, accommodating and the staff were lovely. The takes were kept free from used glasses all night. The was a buffet supplied but I could only have a sausage roll. The rest of the sandwich filings were a mixture of filings and I couldn't eat them. They looked lovely though. Expensive evening , can'texpect anything elsein theCentre of Inverness, but good. Thank you for a great night. X

Best Haggis stack and fresh sea trout caught that morning. The chef even had pictures to prove it. Service was great and timely.

Just been to the Beaufort hotel for a beautiful meal as per usual.It was our 31st wedding anniversary and we decided to have our meal here.As usual we were not dissapointed.I had blade of beef which just melted in your mouth.I believe the chef has been there since she left school.She a a great flair for food.Best Sticky toffee pudding in town.We will be back soon.

Having read so many good reviews, we were disappointed with our meal. The restaurant was very busy so maybe food lies about the kitchen after it is plated - whatever the reason, my wife's haggis starter was stone cold, whilst the sea bass wasn't even warm enough to melt the chive butter on top of it. It's all very well sending food back to re-heat it, but it's not conducive to everyone in the group being able to eat together.Also, the root vegetable lasagne consisted of two small sheets of pasta filled with what appeared to be shredded bits of squash - and to make matters worse, it was absolutely smothered in cheddar cheese!To be fair, my burger was good - but we were generally unhappy with the overall experience.

We were here for a family gathering earlier this month. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The food was great quality and the hotel itself is very stylish and comfortable.The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the city centre, so ideal for any exploring on foot. The hotel has a decent sized car park which we felt safe leaving our car in. We'll be back :)

Meeting with work and lunch was provided, so I plumped for mushrooms with haggis and the Beaufort burger! I wad mot disappointted! It was definitely homemade and excellent! I will definitely be back with friends to sample some of the large array of vodkas they have to offer. Highly recommended for good Scottish food!

We found the Beaufort to be clean and tidy, and ideally situated, being only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Inverness. Staff were friendly and helpful.We did have a couple of grievances though - we booked a family room, and believe that you should get what you pay for - not a double bed and a fold out lounge. Not only uncomfortable, but too squeezie too.Secondly, better signage is needed for getting from your rooms to reception - the place is a rabbit warren.All in all though, we enjoyed our time there, and would stay again.

Visited with friends and family for a meal over easter weekend. Service was friendly and efficient. Good drinks at bar before our meal. Menu has various options, there is a bar menu for a more informal meal and an a la carte served in the restaurant. Also noticed a great value pre-theatre which we plan to sample soon. Service throughout meal was very efficient without being intrusive and very friendly. All meals were delicious and large portions were enjoyed. Dishes ranged from steaks, all cooked to preference, and chicken with haggis among others. Clear plates all round. Good hearty and very tasty food, ideal for a family visit in comfortable restaurant. Would highly recommend and we will be back. Also nice to be away from the town centre and enjoy a relaxing evening.

We were actualy staying at another hotel but the Meals there were very al acarte which we just didnt fancy ,we wanted a good but hearty meal, we were visiting inverness for the weekend with Friends, just by of chance we came across this Gem , the Staff were very Friendly & Helpful at all times and the Food was outstanding & portion sizes exellent ,and we all very very much enjoyed our meals & would definately recommend the restaurant . It was all very clean & beautifuly designed also . Next time we visit inverness we will definately try and book this place for staying in too !

We dined in the restaurant last night and 3 of us had the fillet steaks, they were fantastic, cooked to perfection. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone, and will certainly be eating there again.

We've just returned from a weekend up in Inverness and we booked a late deal online to stay at the Beaufort. The hotel lived up to the lovely pictures online and as soon as we arrived the friendly staff at reception welcomed us, checked us in and directed us to our rooms. We were delighted with our room, a warm yet modern double en-suite room with a large comfy bed, wardrobe, large stylish bathroom with bath and shower and desk with tea/coffee facilities. The room was perfectly clean and again as good as the photos suggested.We went out for the night and returned near 1am, no problems getting in. The walk back from town was around 10/15 minutes and the hotel was easy to find on foot. The hotel was quiet by this point and we couldn't hear anything when we got to our room. The bed was extremely comfy and we both slept well. Our friends who also booked another room both agreed they had a great night's sleep. We both had the fried breakfast in the morning (even if my husband couldn't finish for feeling a little rough!) which was great, there was a good selection if you wanted a continental breakfast or other options. Waiting staff were again extremely helpful and friendly and I can't think of any negatives to even balance this up with! Reception staff were again very friendly at check out. We didn't stay for lunch but the menus certainly looked appetising. Even though we have family around Inverness, I'd definitely choose to stay at the Beaufort again if we're going out in town and I'd highly recommend staying there to anyone else.

Is a nice hotel away from the hustle bustle of city centre but only a short walk away. Nicely decorated and not too busy. Orders taken from friendly waitress and served with a smile. Food was tasty and did not feel they were chasing us from table to get more people in. Took our time and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would recommend to my friends and family. Worth a try.

We went for a meal for my birthday .Very limited menu as it was Sunday A bit chaotic service maybe because there was 13 of us.Side dishes arriving late some well after we had started eating food average quality

We went back here as this is where myself and hubby got married many years ago. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are very friendly. The food in the evening is good as is the breakfast. will definately go back again

Very very busy the night we were there. Well presented menu with a good choice. Food was served quickly and was very tasty. Staff were definitely working under pressure and they delivered!

The service was appalling. There was a function on, but as paying customers that shouldn't mean an hours wait for food in the restaurant. However, when it finally arrived, it was the best fillet steak I have ever eaten in Inverness.

Fantastic run hotel, lovely staff, nice big portions its not squashed , nice big hall room at the back of the hotel. We stayed in a jacacuzzi room fantastic :)

Had the two course special for £13.95 or whatever it was,Starter of Prawn cocktail- absolutely delicious ....with very attentive staffMain of Chicken Gougons, lovely batter with real large chunks of chicken.Can't fault this hotel in any way.Plenty of parking,good rate ,good food ,in actual fact it's probablythe best hotel food i have tasted over the last couple of years and i travel about and stay away 2-3 nights per week.Would go back without a doubt

Plenty parking , friendly welcoming staff, homely decor and just very good food, everything tastes fresh and its only a short walk into town much needed after all the food. good selection of wines and staff who know too!

We booked a table for 20 for my wife's 40th last weekend. Graham and his staff were incredibly freindly without being overbearing . The food was great especially the seabass and beef . The 4 children in the group were very well catered for and also had a great time. Very pleased we trusted this hotel with our very special occasion.

The food was fantastic! We had prawn cocktail salad as a starter and roast beef and mash for the main course. The meat was extremely tender and cooked to perfection with just the right amount of gravy. To finish the meal off we split a sticky toffee pudding that was divine and the best I've ever had! Highly recommend the food and suggest trying to snag a window seat!

Booked a table for 4 people. Greeted pleasantly on arrival and given option of eating in bar or in restaurant. There are 2 menus one for the bar, other for restaurant but you are able to order of either menu, regardless of where you eat. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and the service outstanding. All four of us ordered different things and no one was disappointed. Definitely worth a try.

This mustt be the hardest review i've had to write. The staff are so nice and friendly :-)) You can tell some of the hotel has been updated, you can also see that their is bits that need attention. Little things like dryed old flower's why not just bin them !!! We were in the Royal room, cannot fault it and we got a really good deal, so well happy. The 1 thing that is bad about this hotel is the breakfast, one word AWFUL !! First morning, our bacon was so dark in colour, old to me. Surely the breakfast chef saw this, 2nd morning my tomatoes was burnt and put upside down, is this so it looks better leaving the kitchen. Why serve this !!! Also your jam etc on table has got air to it and their is a hard skin on the top so not fresh. Maybe as you are a hotel, you could add fresh melon etc and black pudding and haggis into your breakfasts. Not much needing done to this hotel and it would be well up their. Hat of to the staff, you are really lovely and we will be back :-))

We had dinner at the hotel twice and it was really great! We were also able to eat at the bar (which is more comfortable).

Friendly welcome and nice staff. Food very meat-friendly, not anything for vegetarians.Food was okay, but not fantastic. Need to vary their menu a bit more

absoultely first class restaurant , get new decor, and amazing food, and the best service , you could wishy for.

Staying at this hotel over a weekend we decided to use the restaurant and we were not disappointed,My partner had the steak while I had the venison,The steak was cooked to perfection and the venison just melted in my mouth,We would definatly return to this hotel and certainly will be returning to the restaurant.

My family and I had a lovely meal at the Beaufort. The Steaks were exceptional, this restaurant should be famous for its steaks. The food was fresh and the chef made us something which wasn't on the menu, The staff were friendly and really looked after us, very impressed with everything we experienced.
