Best pub food around! The fries are sublime. Lamb flatbread and steak pie are highlights. Good prices for food and drink which keeps me coming back. Cool decor too! Only slight grumble is that the tables are always sticky - which is a shame.

The food is genuinely incred. We have worked our way through most of the menu and everything is delicious and beautiful cooked. The buttermilk fried chicken dishes are probably the best fried chicken I've ever had. Also had the beef burger which was delicious thanks to the caramelised onions. So so good. Also love the pickles that come with most dishes. Good prices and nice pints too. New Tunbridge Wells fave!

Exceptional pub! Been going here on and off for years (even worked here when I was a teen) and it's been somewhat inconsistent, but the new owners are doing an incredible job. Nice selection of beer (modern options like Brixton and Tiny Rebel, as well as trusty Harvey's etc) and their fried chicken is INCREDIBLE. Food menu is all great actually - were very happily working our way through it! Dog friendly too. ✨

Lovely little pub on the hill overlooking Tunbridge Wells with quite a deceptively large beer garden out the back. Cheerful barmaid was very pleasant and was happy to have a chat. The pub is back from the road, so although the pub sign is on the road you need to go down the alley to get to the pub - but it's worth it. Comfortable furniture inside with a projector showing a film when we were there. The Guinness was excellent as was the Harvey's Sussex Best. Just a quick extra to mention they stock a locally brewed rums- holding a number of flavours. The rum is brewed by Project 173 and while it might not be a world beater at the moment, I quite enjoyed the pineapple version. It's good to see local products being promoted

Excellent weekend lunch at the Beau Nash. Really interesting and well-priced menu. The potato wedges are exceptional, especially the parmesan and truffle ones. Our party consisted of two elderly relatives who's restaurant tastes are usually the tried and trusted. They chose the lebanese flatbreads, one chicken and one lamb, and were blown away. Trudging back to the hotel on a cold December afternoon I was in two minds whether to pop into a pub somewhere on the way. Then it started raining, and that made the decision for me. I saw the Beau Nash pub sign by the road and turned right into a wide alley that led to the pub. I say wide because it was wide enough for a rubbish truck that started to reverse into it, (and I briefly thought that there was no changing my mind now!) The pub is at the end of this alley and does have a garden to the right and at the back, but wasn’t an option on my visit as it was now chucking it down. Harveys ‘Sussex Best’ was on at £4.60 a pint and was in good condition. The rain continued. The pub had only two other customers and it was mid afternoon so I wondered if they were still doing food. It was, and I thought just a sandwich to go with the second pint, while waiting for the showers to pass over. The grilled cheese with chorizo sandwich I ordered was much bigger than expected. It also had other fillings such as salami and different cheeses. Frankly, it was fantastic. About £7 as I recall. I followed it with another Harveys and, as the rain had eased off, I left. A friend later told me that he thought it was closed. Well, it has reopened I told him, and well worth a visit.

Sunday roast dinner for two people with two drinks for under £30. A good wholesome meal that is very definitely value for money. Plenty of food and a good pint of IPA. We went at 3pm (food served 12 till 5) to avoid any potential rush. It was quiet at 3 but it had apparently been busy earlier. The pub itself with it's wooden beams and benches has the look of a pub from times gone by. Having said that, the toilets were probably the brightest, cleanest toilets I have ever seen and definitely not the toilets of a pub from times gone by!There were plenty of posters advertising regular musical events so it looks like this could be a lively pub in the evenings. If you want good value and a pub that feels like a pub rather than a mass produced chain restaurant then the Beau Nash is surely worth a try.
