Very thankful to the bartender - attentive and ideally mannered Great food

I have been coming to this restaurant for a good number of years now and it never disappoints! The manger Paolo looks after his guests very well. He is one of the best restaurant mangers I have met in London and I put him up there with those who manage Michelin Star level restaurants (restaurants I have a lot of experience with). HIs supporting staff are equally professional and really make you feel at home and welcome. After trying many different cuts of meat there I have found the Lake District ribeye to be the best if you like your steak with a good bit of marbling on it. I also recommend the truffle chips and mixed mushrooms. The Truffle sauce is a must too! We also had to the king crab claws and they were out of this world. Some say they are better than lobster! This set up is my go to for a 10/10 steak night experience! If I could only eat steak once a year it would most definitely be here. I will finish by saying a big thank you to the manager Paolo and his team for consistently delivering a perfect steak night experience. Great work guys! I can not wait to see you guys again!

I had the honor of being invited by my in-laws to this famous restaurant, very very good food. I recommend the steak and salmon tartare as a starter and the reb eye steak as a main course and cheese cak as a desert, it's the best meat restaurant in London I highly recommend it, quality and price are worth it

Lives up to the name, food and service was beast.

Fantastic meal. We had the Nebraska t-bone which was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Side dishes were great, don’t sleep on the cauliflower carpaccio. 10/10, magnifico.

Excellent upscale steakhouse, has a mix of communal tables and high-tops for couples, exceptional cuts and preparations of steaks, would strongly recommend!

Had a reservation but my dinner partner couldn’t make it as their Mum was rushed to hospital. Let the restaurant know a few hours before but they wouldn’t waive the no-show fee of £25pp or let us rearrange to another date. Seems really mean-spirited and unkind to me…

Hands down, the best steak, you will ever have. The A5 and A4 Wagyu’s typically available are heaven. You’re getting premium, you’re paying premium, this place is wildly expensive if you are getting their best steaks, but well worth the money if you are an avid foodie with the bank account to support your cravings. I must say, no sauce, nothing needed, the steaks are just perfect with a pinch of salt. The sides are nice, although you won’t be thinking about the sides. Wine selections are good. Ice-cream Sandwich and the Crème Brûlée are also great. The seating arrangement can be odd, everyone is sitting on very long tables next to each other, but vibes are great most of the time. The restaurant is downstairs and on your way down you get see some King Crabs chilling in their tanks, def camera worthy. Overall, my favorite steak restaurant.

I had a fantastic meal with my partner here, to celebrate her promotion. The staff were attentive & informative without being fussy. The food was to a dish delicious, with the wagyu beef being exceptional. We'll be coming back!

Yummy! A quaint location. You head downstairs and are welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere. Most of the tables are communal- for some that may seem off putting- but it made for a difference experience and we embraced it very much. Our server Teresa was spectacular. She explained everything thoroughly and helped us pick out the perfect choice of meat. Everything was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Hands down, a life changing experience. The best steak I've ever had. It costs a kidney BUT I have 2 kidneys and I can source some from friends. Totally worth it. will defo go again (sponsorship welcome).

Good food, best quality and yes expensive !!

I had high expectations which were exceeded on all fronts. Sat at the bar, with some of the best bar service I ever had. Cocktails were fantastic, dishes spectacular. Absolutely worth every penny.

The overall experience is really overpriced. The menu forces you to spend more than you want to (eg via minimum steak sizes) and I really didn’t appreciate that. The steak was average and the crab was nice.

Great food, vibe and service. Big shared tables and lovely cocktails.

Setting, staff, menus all exquisite (expensive even at entry level but worth it). And the cheesecake was not of this world.

Service very good all round. Ambience and food, lovely. steak, tartar, burrata👌 Perfectly seasoned. Our mushroom side was slightly salty, but they made a new one, apologised and came around with complementary drinks for mistake. Overall, very nice experience. Will come back again.

The steaks were good, but the crab was soggy (they had run out of Lobster the evening we visited) and dessert nothing special. Extremely overpriced for such uninspired food.

Beast is simply amazing - if you can stomach the cost! The dining room is beautiful (think Harry Potter dining room - with floating candles), the beef steaks are delicious, cooked to perfection, the seafood is on point and the service is impeccable - but it is expensive (possibly a reason why the lunchtime dining room was basically empty). We found the drinks are especially pricey - a carafe of semi decent wine (one of the cheapest). was £52 (for 375ml). A glass of Chablis was £20. The steaks are delicious and shared between two was a good amount (although I most definitely could’ve eaten more as it was really tasty!) - this came in at £91 (for two). Beast is definitely worth going to - however be aware of the drink pricing! I’d go back in a heart beat - but most likely on a generous expense account!!

Lovely place and really good food. The best service thanks to Amaniel, the assistant manager. Amaniel was really caring tonight making sure we had the best experience at the Beast. I will be back there only because of Amaniel!! Highly recommended!

Nice looking place, and the ingredients were good, however the scallops were burnt and our meat was served luke warm, cold to touch, the hot plates had also been laid infront of us some 10mins before. When we told the waiter she said she'll let the manger know, he never even bothered to come and talk to us. Such a let down for a £260+ spend for 2 people

First time here, food is really good. We shared as a group different types of steak including the Kobe Beed, a Galician one, and a UK Lake district. The 3 of them we're superb in their own ways, but the Kobe beef was the winner. From the bartenders, to the waitress and even the manager we're all top class and super friendly. Absolutely would like to come back!

Got sick right after dining there, all the food ended up straight in the toilet, would expect something better given the price paid.

Honestly just wow! I’m a food snob, the service was great. The food just mouth watering! The only negative I’ve got is the mobile signal is bad and the WiFi is bad.

We ordered Scottish steak, medium grilled. It was soft, with no blood. The service is great, the seating is social as it’s a long table.

- The scallop was heavenly. - The tuna tartar was amazing. - The Australian ribeye steak was beyond perfect. Their service was great but i feel like it’s a bit pricey for its concept. But overall the food worth trying.

The shrimp tempura is mushy...our waiter didn't do anything wrong but felt a bit pushy. The food is good but for that price level that should be expected.

Perfect in every way. From the quality and stunning selection of meat, to the service offered by the team and the atmosphere overall, it was absolutely and unexpectedly spectacular and a firm new favourite for me.

Amazing overall experience - steak selection is outstanding (far more than what is shown on the website). One of the best steaks we ever had. Great service also. We will be regulars. They also have an excellent selection of Cuban cigars with a separate room for those who enjoy a good cigar.

A Fantastic Spot for Surf & Turf! The food was fantastic, It was a bit pricey but you get what you pay for in terms of service and overall experience. The staff were friendly and took their time to explain the menu. Will visit again.

One of my all time favorite places in London for Steak!

The steak was decent but the prices eye watering for what was served. Octopus starter at 45 was ok but not amazing. . Steak was good no complaints. Bout so it shoual be for £120 for 2. Overall £270’for what was served felt overpriced: the mushroom side very poor. Would not return and the service , although the waitress was ok - overall poor. Should not have to signal or wait for service at this price. Sommelier especially was poor imo.

Beautiful and welcoming atmosphere - our waiter was a little pushy but kind. Appetisers were great and so was the meat; however, when served, the meat temperature and its searing were cold. We did ask for it to be cooked medium rare but it was served to us ambiant temperature cold.

Great service , management should be proud, 10 /10 !!! Fabulous fresh meats & live crustaceans. Top end 🍸. Well worth a visit.

Nothing less than 5 stars in all categories

Really hoped for more here. Food was brilliant - incredible ingredients and beautifully cooked. But the service was well below par for what you’d expect for a £100+ per head restaurant. Serving staff were slow to respond, keen to upsell and embarrassingly poor with their knowledge about the menu.

It is exceptional. Some would say, ‘sets the bar’. But in all honesty food and service are on point. Crab (legs and claws) + steaks are the way forward. Definitely don’t forget the peppercorn sauce (quite possibly the best). Yes it’s expensive. But worth it; and there aren’t many places where you can confidently say that. We will be back. And if you haven’t you should go. @aroundtheworldwithatoddler

Simply the best meal I’ve ever had! The food was exquisite, steak was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted and the side and dessert were up there too! Paulo and the team where exceptional, explained the meat cuts and different options, were super attentive and made the evening extra special. Will definitely be back again soon!

Full justifies the $$$$ on Google Maps and it’s worth it. As long as you know there’s no doing Beast on budget you’re probably going to have one the best Surf & Turfs in the world, and certainly the best in the UK. The experience to see and pick your giant king crab up close and have expertly prepared in front of you is only overshadowed by the exquisite cuts of beef, in our case Peak District UK, Nebraska USA and Fuji Japan. The steak 🥩 was likely the best I’ve ever had and authentic Wagyu never disappoints. The cocktail menu offers a wide variety of choices, the standout for me is the Picante de la Casa & they also have a wide diverse wine list (albeit on the more pricey side). If you have a very special occasion to celebrate and a large budget to spend I can’t really think of anywhere better….unless you don’t eat meat! Although, to be clear they do cater for plant based diets, it’s just I would strongly recommend their sharing surf and turf menu!

Have no idea what the fuss is about... food was average... service was sllllooowwww.... had to go to the bar myself at one point as I could see my beer getting warm sitting on the tray... I was in Dishoom a few nights ago which is just a glorified Wagamama concept yet as soon as I would lift my head and look around a member of staff came straight over... this place u need to set the fire alarm off to get a reaction! I hate writing negative reviews as I know business are all struggling but they charge £500 a lobster here so they can afford to take it on the chin... 😬 Save your bucks and go to Macellaio RC South Kensington for far better steaks and absolutely awsome service!

First visit and what a wonderful experience. Staff are so friendly and have amazing knowledge of the food. We needed help and were advised on portion sizes and how to mix and match to get the best experience. Atmosphere was so lovely. People all sitting together and chatting without the noise drowning out your own chats. Will certainly be back and we will bring friends. Thank you for a lovely evening xx

The only tasting menu I've ever struggled to finish (amount of food). It was absolutely fabulous and the staff were great. Looking at the negative reviews I'd say restaurants that would satisfy such moaners don't exist.

Wow! The food was out of this world, best steak ever! Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was first class. Highly recommended.

Exquisite food and excellent service.

Attended here with my girlfriend last month. The restaurant has a refectory table setup so you have to sit next to each other, rather than opposite and turn around awkwardly to speak which eventually gives you a crick in your neck. Service was good but the food was only mediocre, on the lower side of average for a restaurant in this bracket. The crab in particular was unexceptional and I have had much better for a fraction of the price. The wine list started at around £70 which is way too expensive for an entry level bottle. The real shock however came with the bill which came to £428, comfortably surpassing the most I have spent on a dinner for two. Perhaps this would have been marginally excusable if we had had to be carried out of the place, but I walked out still sober and hungry and my date didn’t eat much. Despite the good service, it was impossible to leave without feeling like I’d been mugged. There is much better value, food and atmosphere available elsewhere.

Took my wife for our 5yr wedding anniversary on Saturday at 6pm, there was only a few customers when we arrived but full when we left at 8pm. Good atmosphere when it got busy and very nice setting with the lighting and candles on the tables. Food was generally very good but the Mushroom side dish was far too salty. Quite surprised at how little King Crab you get for £120 (400g) but very tasty! Scallop starter, tomato and onion salad, USA chateaubriand was delicious, and so was the wine. The waiter (Lucio) brought us a cheesecake with “Happy Anniversary” written on the plate at the end of our meal, very thoughtful and very tasty. A bit overpriced but a nice experience! Service was excellent too.

Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Das Essen der Hammer. Man weiss dass es etwas teurer ist aber damit kann man umgehen. Als wir sagten dass wie ein Jubiläum feiern bekamen wle sogar noch 2 Gläser Gratis Limoncello. Wenn wir das nächste Mal in London sind gehen wir sicher wieder dort essen

Really great food and an overall wonderful experience

Second time we’ve been, outstanding as always. Staff are amazing from start to finish. We came as a couple last time and this time we had to share it with friends so paid for a work meal for everyone to enjoy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! can’t fault

The Galician steak was crazy amazing.

This is a place filled with the worst clichés in restauranting today. Communal tables, whole, live lobsters coming out for photos, £56 glasses (glass, not bottle) of wine, waiters coming to introduce themselves to you by name every 10 minutes, menus that need a 5 minute explanation. The food is fine (it's beef, you can go to a butchers, buy a good cut and do it yourself) but the atmosphere and cloying service are the pits. Filled with rich tourists and Americans. Nothing about this place is special.

We closed the restaurant as in “we stayed till last minute how good” it was.
