Delicious full English breakfast and poached egg and Avocado on toast, good portions and great value for money. Friendly and helpful service throughout. Also cater for gluten free, vegan and vegetarian on their menu. Would definitely recommend for a quick and fuelling breakfast with good quality produce!

A good sized veggie and " normal" breakfast . Good quality ingrediants and very good pricing. Friendly service from front of house staff and its dog friendly. Recommended.

Where to start? This used to be so good. Went last Thursday to be greeted by a very blunt sour faced woman who saw us at the door opened it and stated “we’re closed - open at 9”. It was 0858. Not a great start. The sour faced demeanour continued throughout – oh dear what a shocking way to treat the source of your wages. We ordered. It came in a reasonable time, delivered, of course, with a scowl. Not a please/thank you/or “enjoy your meal” or later, was everything all right? Actually, you should have asked. It wasn’t up to previous standards at all. Most of the food was luke warm, the sausage was only cooked on one side, the bacon rather dried up (reheated from the day before perhaps?). Its not hugely expensive but then again, its not the cheapest and let me tell you, only 200 yards away there is a lot cheaper that is currently also a lot better. The whole place (didn’t visit the toilet) could do with a blooming good clean to be honest. Greasy dust accumulated on fittings and by gosh – the table we sat at had a really unpleasant sticky surface – it just needs a sand down and varnish over but as it is – yuuuuuk! It’s surely impossible to properly clean a surface of that nature and its NOT a nice place to let your clothes touch or to eat at. Sorry – we need to see/hear a good deal of positive reviews showing major improvements before they get any more of our money … and no, the waitress didn’t even smile when she took the money.

Upon arrival, the blonde waitress appeared stoney faced and unfriendly. We were sat down for 20 minutes before she came and took even our drink order, and when she eventually did, she didn't put the food order into the kitchen for another 5-10 minutes which we could clearly see. We were wondering why this took so long and then turned around to see her nattering away to a lady for about 30 minutes, as well as there being tables full of dirty things which were left for 20 minutes after people left. The food took about half an hour to come out (we only ordered eggs and Avocado on toast and a bacon sandwich) and when it did come out, it was only just warm and there was no apology for the wait. A very very disappointing visit and we will likely not be returning when the blonde waitress is working as she clearly should not.be working in a public facing job.

Unfortunately didn’t feel particularly welcomed upon entry. We were told we couldn’t sit outside because of the folk festival, despite there being chairs and tables outside in full sun, and barely any people around outside. Then we were showed to a dirty table. Smashed avocado left much to be desired. Eggs were poor quality and undercooked. Avocado was overripe, over spiced and lacked seasoning. Bread and bacon were great quality but the knives were too blunt to cut it. The place has great potential, but the beachy instagrammable decor was a stark contrast to the execution of the food. To be fair, they do a mean iced latte. Hope they can turn things around. More smiles, more accommodating the customers would be nice. Will try again next year.

Used to be nice this place. Had the most disgusting breakfast this morning. Was swimming in grease use two napkins to mop it up and was still all over the plate. Burnt inedible bits of mushroom dry chewy Nasty sausage. Pulled the chef on it he said nothing. I didn’t eat it and still got charged. Disgusting. The lady behind the counter has ZERO people skills and shouldn't be front of house. Absolutely appalling, unfriendly, unwelcoming place which is a shame as the food for breakfast is quite good. It's as if she's annoyed any customers have turned up and she has to take the order and make the coffee. Ridiculous. Until she is replaced, we definitely won't be visiting again.

We went there Thursday 1st June to be told by a lady that she didn’t have staff and there was a family in there and that’s all she had time to serve but the lady didn’t come across friendly next day we liked the look of the menu so thought we would go back as we walked I. No smile or pleasant welcome just we only take cash we were. It made to feel welcome didn’t take any orders or say I be with you in a bit wasn’t friendly after 20 mins of nothing we decided enough was enough and walked out we found another cafe don’t have the name but the guy was run off his feet but smiled gave us updates I just do this and I be with you all you ask is a smile and say I be with you one I have don’t this or that will not be returning

Without a doubt, the best breakfast we’ve had in Broadstairs! My daughter had a children’s English breakfast, my husband had eggs Benedict and I had the smashed avocado with poached eggs. All was top quality and really well cooked.

Absolutely superb. Super yummy food (I had the veggie breakfast) the veggie sausage was incredible! Made with yummy whole foods, no fake meat crap. The avocado was sensational! So so yummy! My cousins had the crushed avocado and smoked salmon toast (amazing) and the others had the full English (also delicious) The lovely lady who served us was friendly and accommodating with my fussy egg request. Highly recommend. 5* thank you ☺️

Great place to stop off and grab a good cup of coffee (or tea, or smoothie) and a wide range of things to eat. The sausage sandwich was excellent with flavoursome sausages and springy tasty white bread (why not). Would heartedly recommend.

I haven't been to Beaches for over two years. The main reason is lack of free, nearby parking. Sadly, so many other, out of town places can offer this. My car was being MOTed and I had my son with me. We wandered down the hill and around the corner. Several eating establishments are situated along this road, but none pulled me in like Beaches. I love its simplicity, the practical tables giving you enough room to eat with spaces to have company and meet new friends. The chairs set to a sensible height. The menu, clear concise and offering you first thing, the opportunity to create your own meal. There wasn't any set meal that appealed to me so I ordered poached eggs with hash browns. I'm pretty certain the lack of hash browns, or potatoes in general, was another reason our attendance faded. My food was beautiful. Good quality ingredients prepared very well. My poached eggs cooked perfectly, my toast unburnt - always a bonus. My son loved his saugage sandwich too.This place is definiately going back on my list of breakfast places despite its lack of affordable parking.

This little cafe is quirky, fun and friendly. It has not got a huge capacity but it has a huge heart. The food is yummy and reasonably priced. We had to pay a return visit the next day as we loved it!

We visit Broadstairs every year for the coastal half marathon. We always visit Beaches Café for breakfast the day after the run for a well deserved treat. Delighted to say it's still as good as last year. Despite the café being full as everyone seemed to come at the same time the service was efficient and the food delicious and didn't take long to arrive.

My parents and I visited this lovely cafe with my two young daughters. The food was exceptionally good and the staff were very helpful and very nice. Will certainly return!!

Its nearly 3 years since I last reviewed Beaches, well the Nachos and veg chilli are still good, my wife's favorite haloumi salad and still one of our chosen places to eat during the Folk Week. Would probably have eaten there more often but they close so early - when I have played an early afternoon gig in one of the local pubs its impossible for me to get there much before 4.30 and by that time they are usually piling up the chairs and mopping the floor!

A warm friendly atmosphere, well balanced dishes and proper coffee, make the perfect combination. The Avocado and poached is probably the most generous serving and best presented I have a ever seen - very tasty too!

Very nice cafe bar near the seaside with tables and chairs outdoor! It has snacks, ice creams sandwiches and pizza for lunch! I had jacket potatoes that were delicious! Prices? Not high but not so cheap ! There was live music on that day so Ho was definitely entertaining !Recommended

We were visiting relatives in Broadstairs and were deliberating between Bessie’s Tea Parlour next door and Beaches. We opted for the latter because they had more savoury food. The place only has two tables for six, two tables for four, and a table for two. So only 22 covers. They offer quite a nice menu. A few salads - with chicken and avocado, with halloumi, with felafel and houmous. A few substantial sandwiches - I had their BLT with chicken and jalapeños. They do a mean grilled cheese on sourdough and their home made slaw and potato salad were good.

A lovely colourful little cafe just off the seafront, wonderfully dog friendly, and with great, freshly prepared food - my bacon and chicken ciabatta roll was wonderful.

The menu here was nice, interesting and had a range of tasty looking veggie options. Unfortunately I had a craving for baked potato that day. It arrived and was largely inedible due to the thick crust from being heated too many times or for too long. I tried to eat the skin - I could not cut it with the knife provided, and nearly broke my teeth biting into it. The toughness of the potato had gone very far into the thing, and therefore there was not much soft potato left to eat so what I basically had was a bunch of melted cheese. Really disappointing. My husband had a sandwich which looked much nicer and the lady on the next table had the felafel and houmous salad which looked really nice and which I wished I'd had! There were also some nice looking bowls of soup floating about.

This quaint cafe is located right next to the beach as the name suggests. The food is really good. They serve a large variety from soup to sandwiches to breakfasts. The milkshakes are also amazing! They have many vegan and vegetarian options as well. It is all quite reasonably priced. The waiter was really friendly and had an impressive memory. He remembered exactly who had ordered what both when serving the food and when we went to pay separately. Highly recommend this place.

Went to Broadstairs for the day and after looking on TripAdvisor we decided to go to Beaches. I really wish we didn't. Firstly we ordered a flat white, what we got was warm milk with no coffee taste. We decided to let that slide because we really want there for the food not drinks. We both ordered the English breakfast, the sausages were cold in the middle and when we said something the new sausages came out very quick boiling hot...they were obviously reheated in a microwave (not acceptable! Everything should be cooked fresh) also the beans were cold and the mushrooms were swimming in grease. I wouldn't recommend this place for coffee or breakfast!

We stumbled across this place on a girls weekend in Broadstairs and it was the perfect ending to a fab break. I had smashed avo on toast with 2 poached eggs and I am still thinking about it... so tasty! I also had a sausage and tomatoes on the side ... not a problem... my friends had equally delish breakfast (full English) all v tasty. Highly recommend.

I went over out of curiosity and was very happy that I did. I ordered a burger and it was so succulent. The staff were attentive and the young cute chef was lovely and quite a cheeky chap. 10/10 from me.

Decided to impulse book a trip to Broadstairs and decided to take our dog as well I mention that because we knew that unless we found a dog friendly restaurant this could be tricky my wife and I also follow a strict Ketogenic diet which if you do also can also be challenging at times.

We called in for a light bite and were provided with good food and friendly service.

Utter, utter rubbish..the most appalling food served up with dirty cutlery in a filthy setting. The foods grease level is only second to that of the owners personal hygiene....we won't be back.

After staying the night at a local hotel (room only) we set about finding somewhere for breakfast. A quick look on TripAdvisor turned up this cafe. It wasn't far from the hotel and so it was pretty much a no-brainer.

Our family where hungry after the drive to the coast we stopped for lunch at this amazing little cafe in Broadstairs food was excellent and service was also excellent anyone making a trip to Broadstairs should make this hidden gem a must place to visit you won’t be disappointed you with be amazed how great the menu is ✅

Came here for lunch and the food was luxurious! The menu choice was limited but I can only assume that means they can perfect there dishes as all of our food was delicious. Also a good choice of veggie options amongst the small but tasty menu. Food came out quickly and was reasonably priced with all our main meals priced at £6.95 each. We would highly recommend visit :-)

We dropped in here for breakfast after folk week before heading home. Great breakfast and service - my weird requests for avocado with my scrambled egg weren't a problem. Lovely decaff coffee. My partner's adapted full English was also delivered without any problems and it looked lovely - no gratuitous grease anywhere and lovely meaty sausages. Set us up for the day!

Great freshly cooked food, served with great presentation. The staff is friendly and have good knowledge about the food they serve. They have plenty of vegetarian options and gluten free. All very clean and a nice chilled out decoration and environment.

Went to this cafe with group of family and friends. The way my boyfriend was treated by the owner (scruffy man with a beard) was absolutely disgusting. My bf who isn’t speaking English very well tried to order his tea and breakfast, but was quickly judged by the owner as a rude customer. We were treated horribly. At the point of receiving our food and cutlery( which were almost thrown at us) we were close to getting up and leaving the cafe. But as we were with a group of friends we didn’t want to make a scene. When at the end of our visit I politely asked the owner why he was so rude he replied that “this is not the Costa and this is his cafe and he will do whatever the F... he wants” At this point I couldn’t believe his reaction. I just can’t believe owner of the business treats customers with a such a disgrace. I’m not even gonna mention the hair in my plate. That was a very disappointed morning...

I came for breakfast the other day for the first time, I had the avocado on sour dough with poached eggs (Sour dough was quite hard) but was a good portion and really enjoyable. My friend had the full English which was a good size for what we wanted and was again delicious. We both had fresh orange juice & given a bottle of tap water. Such a good atmosphere on such a sunny day in Broadstairs along side amazing service. I also left with a slice of banana and chocolate loaf cake! The best I’ve ever tried!! Will definitely be going back x

Stopped by for a lunch, normally visit for coffee and cake. We had nachos with chilli and warm chicken salad with avocado and bacon. Good granary bread. Delicious

Me and my master went here on our way to the beach to have breakfast. We were thrilled to see the sign outside saying they were a dog friendly place . My master ordered a breakfast, which did take a while to come, but was well worth the wait. They even had a treat for me which was lovely. Nicely presented, well cooked and tasty to boot. They have some interesting reading on the ceiling.

Four of us ate breakfast here twice, both times it was excellent. You can completely customise your breakfast, so no waste! All of the food was cooked perfectly and the bacon was really good quality and tasty. Lovely atmosphere and great service, we will definitely go back, and would also like to try lunch next time as the lunch menu looked great as well.
