We visited today and waited in the doorway to be seated. A very unpleasant woman came and snapped at us asking if we had booked. We had not so she stormed off to see if there was a table outside, meanwhile a very pleasant lady came to see if she could help & said there were tables outside & to follow her. The original woman glared & took us to the table. Her attitude was appalling and grumbled about it being busy and it was the end of the season so the stock was low as if it was our fault. I didn’t dare tell her we were served with a dirty glass. All in all a very unpleasant experience so will not be returning.

The cafe is popular so it is best to book and state that you require either an indoor or outdoor table. We both enjoyed our prawn salad. The prawns were plentiful but were rather too cold. The selection of desserts and cakes was impressive and we couldn't resist them. They are home made. We had lemon meringue and pavlova. Both delicious. The lemon of the meringue was beautifully sharp and sweetened by the meringue. Unusual to find when eating out.We were just a little concerned that the table we were given was rather close to another and certainly not socially distanced.

Oh my! What a pleasant find after our visit to the Manorbier castle! It is within a walking distance of the castle.Good COVID measures in place.Welcoming staff. Good menu including day's specials. Lovely home cooked food. We had the Welsh cawl (served with crusty baguette and cheese) - tender lamb and most satisfying. GF bread options on offer. Great selection of homemade cakes (to die for1) The almond milk latte we sampled was delicious. There is a quirky gift shop and one can spend time admiring the goods as well as deciding on purchases! We bought some preserves and peanut cookies which have received the thumbs up!. Modest prices. There is seating on the heavenly terrace and we were delighted to visit. Our thanks to all staff for making our visit so memorable.

We were looking for a quick stop on our journey. Although it was very busy with a queue outside for takeaway, our order was taken promptly and the wait wasn't long. Having read other reviews we opted for the tuna baguettes, - not disappointed. They do accept bookings.Staff working really hard, they are advertising for more. Very pleasant and helpful. We literally stumbled on this fantastic little tea rooms and loved every second of it. Staff masked and friendly, food outstanding. I had the smoked salmon and cream cheese baguette, loads of smoked salmon. My partner opted for the Ploughman’s his face lit right up when it arrived. Our 8 year old chose jacket potato with beans and again she was over the moon. The place is licensed so we opted for a Welsh lager that is brewed by fairies !!!! And a Welsh cider, very refreshing. After such a lovely lunch we could not resist dessert so a homemade flapjack, beautiful lots of apricot and coconut, scones with jam and cream and they were oh so scrummy indeed. They also inside have a little gift shop selling beautiful little gifts. This place is a gem it’s only small. Let’s keep these beautiful small little eateries going it’s fantastic.

We were served today in the most weird way. The staff seem genuinely put out by having to actually do something and are so unfriendly it's uncomfortable. They act like they're doing you such a favour just acknowledging your existence, even after spending £13 on two sandwiches. As we were waiting for our food, we saw a local woman ask for a sandwich but she said she only had ten minutes - the staff were in uproar and refused and said there's no way she could possibly have a sandwich within ten minutes as there were already SIX(!) sandwiches being made before hers! Shock horror. Sandwiches are obviously one of the quickest things possible to knock up but it just was not possible apparently. The sandwiches we got were disgusting and thrown away. Soggy and stale at the same time is really quite something. No idea why they're so well reviewed but we'd never step foot here again. We're not local but feel sorry for locals if this is how they get treated.

First time visiting Manorbier in Tenby and after a lovely long walk along the clifts of Lydstep we decided to visit Beach Break Cafe and due to COVID19 we booked a table for four for lunch for just two hours later, which I thought was very lucky. Track and Trace was in place due to Government instruction. Excellent! My wife, two children and I were greeted with a warm welcome at the entrance and given directions to our table in the garden. At first we were uncomfortable where we were placed which was in the middle of the garden with no parasol to shade us from the extremely hot afternoon sunshine. We were greeted by a friendly waitress and after giving our drinks order we asked if there was anything they could do to give us some shade. The waitress said she would sort something out for us. Within 5 minutes the waitress said a table had become available which was well shaded so we moved there. Now that we were in the shade our experience with the Beach Break Cafe only got better. The menu was very simple for a cafe which is what you want - nothing too complicated. They had a specials board in accompaniment to their menu too. We ordered from the menu and 10 - 15 minutes later we were served by a very friendly waiter. The sandwiches were very well stocked of the finest fresh prawns to the succulent tender ham and the salad tasted very fresh. After our lunch I treated myself to the most delicious Lemon Meringue Pie I've ever tasted. I wasn't sure if it was homemade, I forgot to ask, but it was very tasty indeed. We were very grateful to the staff for making our dining experience a satisfied one and we will certainly visit Beach Break Cafe again next summer without a doubt. Limited sandwich menu, from which I selected Welsh cheese. Tasteless, grated cheese that just cascades out of the sarnie. Margarine and dry bread. £4. You taking the mickey. Don’t bother.

After a long walk to Manorbier along the coastal path from Tenby we were delighted to find Beach Break for a late lunch. We sat outside in their sunshine-filled garden and ate our way through a tasty baguette and panini both with generous salad accompaniment (no single token lettuce leaf here!), followed by a lovely bit of coffee cake and a well deserved ice cream. Would definitely return.

Visiting Manorbier and the Castle and had planned to have lunch there. However, no sandwiches today so they recommended this place just outside the grounds. Glad they did, the staff were wonderful and the food delicious. My wife loved her caramalised onion and brie tart with broccoli crunch and the rest of us enjoyed our food very much too.

Little gem of a place, with fantastic staff and great service. Used to visit this place when it was a shop and post office as a child. 40 years later its a fab little cafe.

Had nearly an hour to kill while waiting for a bus back to Tenby. What better way than with a nice cup of hot tea in a lovely tea room. Nice and friendly.

WE always go here for lunch when on holiday in Saundersfoot. They even provide blankets for sitting outdoors as dogs are not welcome in the cafe itself. The people are so friendly, it makes you want to return. They do great soup at a sensible price. They also have a souvenir shop where the car park is, that does affordable gifts if one is selective!

We stayed nearby and made sure we made it back to have lunch here everyday. Homemade soup was delicious, fresh bread, panini was also fab. My husband was in his element as sticky toffee pudding was on the menu, I had fresh fruit pavlova yum

This café provided a lovely setting in the very pretty village of Manorbier. We had a fabulous lunch after a long walk along the cliff paths near Manorbier. The menu had an excellent selection of reasonably priced dishes of which I would highly recommend the smoked haddock chowder and lemon meringue pie. The staff were so friendly and helpful despite being quite busy. We were slightly off season so fewer tourists but the café was frequented by several local people - always a good sign. There was also a good souvenir shop attached to the café, selling some really lovely pieces.

Visited here with friends for Sunday lunch, would recommend you book ahead as they get quite busy. Car park in the hotel grounds but if this is full, more parking down the road only a short walking distance away.A nice welcome from the receptionist, then we were asked to sit in the bar and given the menu. Had a drink whilst waiting for our table, lovely surroundings with plenty of comfy chairs to sit in. Restaurant is very traditional with lots of period features.A very good choice of starters, mains and desserts with one main vegetarian option. Three of us opted for the leek and potato soup and one for the salmon. The soup was okay, one had to be returned to be re-heated as it was cold and we all agreed that there was too much balsamic vinegar on top and nobody was able to finish it all. A good choice of bread rolls was on offer with the starters. For the main course 3 had the pork and one the beef. Generous portion of meat, the pork was lovely and tender. The beef was very rare, which wouldn't suit everyone but my husband didn't mind. Excellent selection of vegetables, beautifully cooked to perfection and plenty of gravy. Roast potatoes were very salty. Still and sparkling bottles of water on the table which was a nice touch but I'm not sure whether they were complimentary or not. Pleased to see they use many local suppliers.Nice selection of desserts but we couldn't manage one after the generous portions of starter and main. Opted for tea and coffees, very nice cappuccino served with chocolate mints. I believe the cost was £10.95 for one course. £14.95 for 2 courses and £18.95 for 3 courses which we thought was very good value. Our table was booked for 1.30 by the time we were seated it was 1.45 - this was not a problem but what did annoy our party was the fact that at 3.30 and whilst we were still having our tea and coffees the staff started stripping all the tables around us and setting up for the evening meal so we felt obliged to drink up and go. If this needed to be done before we finished then the least they could have done was explain and perhaps ask us to take our coffees in the bar area - we wouldn't have minded. We all thought this was unacceptable.
