First time ordering food here and it was disgusting. Ordered kochi murgh with naga vindaloo. Called to make sure they had the order and that they were able to make it to our requirements to which they said yes. Waited 2 and half hours for delivery. Food came cold, chips like rubber. Popadom where stale and I was able to bend them in half. Kochi was bland with no naga and no vindaloo heat. In all honesty a korma may have been a better option. The chicken was stale and so hard I couldn’t eat it. The naan was absolutely stone cold and like eating a flip flop. Ended up throwing the lot in the bin, a waste of time and money and a spoilt evening. Won’t be ordering from here again and would advise anyone thinking of ordering to go elsewhere! Probably the worst Indian food I’ve ever tasted! Ive given 1 star as I’m not able to leave no stars!!

After having to wait until 5.30pm when they opened to place our order, we then waited and waited and waited. I telephoned at 6.30pm and was told we were the next order. Then another phone call to tell me that the prawn cocktail wasn't available and would I like an alternative. I chose and then we waited again...and waited. It eventually arrived at 8.15pm. The meals were tasty but not fantastic. Would I use them again....no, sorry not sorry.

First time and very impressed, South Indian chilli chicken one of the best I've had, not too hot but just enough heat with plenty of flavour, Peshwari nan amazing, will be back soon👍

Ordered food for the 3 of us from a well used Takeaway, had the odd mishap with meals in the past but on the whole the food was always decent, but tonight we ordered it to be delivered, 1st Sat of Lockdown expected a wait, told 45 mins so not too bad, alas our meals arrived, the food order again not followed, very watery and limited in meat content in all, also asked for Meals to be made hotter, which weren’t and the portion of chips missing, all in all a totally limp effort by BayLeaf, when standards drop it shows they’ve stopped trying to impress with the Food quality and are just making up weak versions with less product but more profit, my wife phoned about the quality and missing portion etc but told very busy and to mention it next time, alas there won’t be a next time, I don’t intend taking a chance that for £35 for 3 meals, no extras like Naan, bhajis etc to be disappointed when eating it, the standard has dropped but not the costs, a place to give a miss unless you like giving money away.

Just purchased 2 keema rice with curry under the impression with previous reviews of how good it was ment to be first time tried and last the keema rice tasted like it had been heated up a number of time as rice grains was hard and mince meat was so tiny needed a magnifying glass to spot it not much chicken in curry Deffo not worth price paid. Deffo can not compare it to the curry in burry port plus cheaper in BP best part of the meal was onions and mint sauce plus when popadoms arrived as they was put in with hot food they had gone soft shambles speak as it is .

The place is a gem if you like quality Indian food from great staff who go that extra mile to make you happy. Chicken Tika is out of this world Delivered pipping hot and on time too

I’ve been going here for years and the food is amazing. One time, I found a piece of plastic in my curry and a most choked. I informed them right away. I had a thank you for letting them know. But there was no guarantee it wouldn’t happen again or any reassurance or explanation. I am devastated because it’s my favourite curry house. They know me well as I’ve been going there years and nothing was brought up the next time. I did mention the issue but nothing came of it.

Prior to the lockdown we had a couple of takeaways that weren’t of Bayleaf standard but we understand that many chefs/takeaways have off days - so we tried other Indian takeaways in the town but nothing really stood out - Anycase - Bayleaf had closed initially due to this pandemic so finding out that they have reopened we decided to order with a little apprehension - but we needn’t be worried- OMG - absolutely stunning- 4 meals with side orders - every dish was outstanding- we are so happy that the Bayleaf team are back on form - as a family we have tried every Indian/Bangladesh takeaway in and around Llanelli- old and new - nothing matches our meals this evening- absolutely stunning- if you need a spice fix - don’t bother with our town centre establishments - just phone these guys - outstanding

First time for us to have a takeaway from the bayleaf and it won't be the last, was delicious,

This was a great tasty takeaway with decent sized portions when it first opened. The last several orders from there have been shocking. Tasteless, poor quality, small portions. The chicken tikka main is the size of what would usually be the tikka starter with tough meat. When you phone they are ignorant and blame you. Don’t be fooled by the photos they put up. That is not their food.

My favourite curry is chicken jalfizi and it was a really big portion and i enjoyed it i would really recomend you try it out.

I have been trying to find a nice takeaway in the Llanelli area, and now I have found one, the food was fantastic and the service was fast for a Saturday. I would highly recommend this place.

Lovely food, good selection on the menu and the staff are very friendly. Delivery is good, on time and food is hot.

Very expensive for what you get and ridiculously long wait time. Was told one hour to one hour twenty. Still waiting TWO HOURS later. Phoned twice, once to be told the food had left 15 mins ago. Food eventually came 20 mins later. The chips were freezing and had to be reheated. There were also not many of them in the bag.What a pity as the curry was nice, although chicken tikka did not taste like tikka and it was difficult to tell which dish was which. I rang to complain about the cold chips to be told the manager would ring back in 20 mins. He never did. If you had this service in a restaurant you would expect some kind of customer care. They seem to think a delivery service means you can get away with treating customers as you like. At £30 for three curries, one rice and one chips you are paying restaurant prices. Bay leaf - you really need to start treating your customers properly. We won’t be risking it again.

Ordered food from here tonight after several reviews of amazing food, to be honest I was very disappointed, I ordered food at 7.35pm, was ment to be delivered at 8.40pm which to be honest felt a little bit long but I was willing to except that, food was delivered at 9.15pm missing a naan bread and 2 x tikka starters, contacted the restaurant to then be told it would take 30 minutes for them to arrive or have a free starter with my next order, so punctuality and accuracy were of the least important or that's how it feels. The Food, the chicken korma was nice, but the chicken tikka and chicken jalfrezi both tasted bland and the same, chips seemed like very small portions considering the price of them. To be honest I've tasted better for cheaper at other similar local takeaways, My overall verdict over priced food, lacking quality and customer service fell well below average, very disappointed.

if you want authentic indian food, cooked infront of you while you wait, then this takaway is for you. 5 hygiene rating, friendly staff, and fantastic food. this is our local take a way, we use nearly every Saturday. you have tried the rest now try the best. this place is well worth the visit 10/10.

We had a delivery, they got it wrong. No help In resolving the issue and one of our party had no food. In fairness the food was nice but make sure they get the correct order from you! Not sure we’d order from them again

We have used the home delivery service on a number of occasions. The food os of good quality. My only criticism is that there is far too much to eat. We find that a set menu for one person more than satisfies two of us.

My husband and I have been to a lot of curry places around the country but this one is one of the best take away. The staff are very helpful and welcoming and you can see them cooking food in front of you. I'm a huge fan of their south Indian garlic chilli chicken (try it if you haven't, a bit spicy but absolutely scrumptious).Highly recommended.

Being my local, very convenient for pickup. Food is amazing, good service, slightly more expensive than other local takeaways, but worth the extra. Be prepared for a wait, they're normally very busy, food is cooked right in front of you so you know it's fresh. Would recommend.

Worst place I have ever ordered food from. food was 2 hours late when they said they would be 45 mins then the delivery driver tried charging us extra even though he was 2 hours late. And to top it all off then the food wasn't even nice had a mouthful of it and it was horrible very very poor!!!!!!!

Called there after being recommended but we were both disappointed I love spicy food but the chicken tikka marsala was too spicy when it isn't a spicy dish so it didn't taste like a marsala and very salty the other dish was a biriyani very very salty onion bhajees were ok won't be returning think we will stick to our local where we know is spot on

Food was excellent,tasty,no grease film and plenty of it,good value for money,probably one of the best in the area.

This is the second time we've had a take away from the Bayleaf,and over all satisfied with the meals. Located in the Swissvalley area it is also very convenient for the Felinfoel area too, you will find parking to the front so access is good.The menu is not has comprehensive as others I have seen but you will find all the most popular dishes on there.My wife alway orders a special Biryani and was very disappointed with the vegetable curry that accompanies it, this was just a very runny sauce with four potato pieces, where was the veg you would normally find, this needs to be improved so I hope this will be addressed and put right as it would be nice to use the Bayleaf again as it's local and convenient for me.

This is the third time we have had food from here. First twice fantastic, this time disappointed. On ordering we were told an hour wait. No problem as it is bank holiday Monday and we expected them to be busy. After an hour we received a phone call to say there were no onion bajhees left ! 15 mins later still no sign of our order. I phoned to be told the delivery driver left 20 mins ago. It took another 20 mins for him to arrive!! We are a 5 min drive from the shop!! I guess we will collect next time. Spicy chips were soggy, obviously been kept warm too long. Mains were chicken madras, chicken rogan, both ok, also chicken kochi which was unrecognisable. Think we may have got something else by mistake, it did taste ok. Overall disappointing. Needs to be better next time or going elsewhere! Poor service

This is the first time we have tried the Bayleaf. Not bad but room for improvement. There was certainly plenty of food - we had popadoms and onion salad that we hadn't ordered. Nice touch. We had three main meals, two side dishes and two naans between us. It beat us. I have two slight complaints about the meal - not sure if it was the biryani or side dishes, but something was definitely far too salty and it spoilt it a little for me. The second was that the veg curry was far too runny - I prefer to have veg that I can recognise. Will give them another go, but won't be having the biryani again in a hurry - the chicken tikka masala tasted good though :)

Not spicy at all, very sugary also a lot of water appeared on my plate from the curry . Chips were greasy . Naan bread was nice .
