Bath sushi is by and far my favourite sushi bar, and one of the best places I've ever eaten including some of the ones in Japan, so i thought it was long past the time i left a trip advisor review to help people find this fantastic place! I've eaten many, many of the dishes here and they have all been top tier. So first im gonna go with the more general things. First of all, the rice itself is the perfect consistency to me, a little on the sweeter side of vinegar that I adore. They're one of the only places that does tamago mini rolls, which have perfectly cooked egg that I could eat hundreds of. Their Takoyaki is clearly homemade, and is deliciously creamy with a good chunk of octopus inside, and well seasoned. Their Unagi Donbori has singlehandedly change my opinion on eel, with a melt in your mouth texture and the perfect sauce, that I wolf down in a worrying amount of time haha. The staff have always been consistently friendly and kind, and once when I ordered to the wrong address by mistake and it couldn't be changed, the person I rang personally delivered my meal, an act of kindness ill never forget. If you're a fan of sushi, you owe it to yourself to eat at Bath Sushi. If you're a local and you haven't tried it, you gotta. If you're in Bath, you gotta. If you're unsure if you'll like sushi, this place is the place to find out!

Went to bath sushi with my daughter, really lovely food, we went for the salmon and Avacado sushi, squid and vegetable gyoza which were all great. Quick service, friendly staff, high quality food.

We had a lovely time at Bath Sushi, great food and the waitress, Cherry, made our evening very special. Would definitely return again! The dining area is small, but the interior design is pretty cool!

What has happened to bath sushi? Ordered 60 pounds worth of sushis and some soba noodles. Omg...the sushi doesnt taste like sushi...the sushi rice tasted like white rice with no flavour. The mix vege soba noodle was salty. This place used to be my favourite sushi place, but not any more.

An impromptu celebration meal, made to feel really welcomed by the staff, excellent recommendations and great food! Would definitely go back, and I've had take out before from then which was also excellent!

Best Japanese food in Bath. Best service ever. Super fast and friendly staff. I always leave with a smile on my face. The food is super authentic and well crafted. The menu is extensive and full of options. And the atmosphere is always quiet so you can enjoy a conversation but not awkward! The perfect Japanese resteraunt if you ask me. I highly recommend the katsu curry!

My husband and I recently celebrated his birthday at Bath Sushi, and I cannot express how delighted we were with the entire experience. From the moment we stepped in the attentive staff, especially our helpful waitress Cherry, went above and beyond to make our evening enjoyable. The menu offered a delightful variety of sushi, and our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us through the selections and even recommending a fantastic sake for my first-time experience. The flavours of both the food and sake were simply exquisite, leaving us eager to return and try more of the menu. What truly stood out was the personal touch on my husband's birthday celebration. The staff surprised us with a rendition of "Happy Birthday" and presented a delightful moshi adorned with a candle. It was a charming touch that showcased their commitment to making the visit special. Thanks to this evening, Bath Sushi has undeniably become one of our favourite restaurants in the area, not just for its cuisine but also for the outstanding service and overall experience. We highly recommend for those seeking a perfect blend of great food and warm hospitality. We look forward to many more celebrations at Bath Sushi!

We took our children to Bath Sushi for my daughters birthday lunch. The staff were incredibly friendly and recommended the best dishes (as we weren’t very familiar with what to order.) . The waitress even helped the children with the really awesome fizzy drinks with a “ glass ball” inside . My daughter loved this!! The food was so delicious & full of flavour and fresh. We parked at Sainsbury’s and walked around to the restaurant, super easy 5 min walk.

We came there today. We are not live in bath, only one day trip. So we don’t know this place very well. We walk there around 20mins , today’s weather is horrible rain, very dark cold and lots of water puddles, we got all clothes wet, even shoes. I understand you have another 15 mins for open time. But because of the weather, you want to the customer stand out side without any roof cover, even I came there with 13 years old boy. You may cook good sushi, but the service is really bad!

The worst Japanese restaurant I've ever had. I ordered chow mein and kasu chicken rice.But The food is not freshly made., it's frozen or refrigerated and microwaved.The chicken was very dry and the chow mein was very salty.I'm takeaway. He didn't even give me any cutlery.

My noodles where dry, not sure if they were supposed to be (like a pot noodle before the water), the seating is difficult to get into if you are pregnant or not very mobile. One of our meals didn't come out. Then we were charged a 10% service fee..

Food was ok but expensive in my opinion, ‘mini rolls’ as described or makis as they are usually called had the same size as the special rolls which were 3 times the price seems like a ripoff… I was expecting the rolls which cost around £15 each to be bigger in size than the ‘mini roll’/makis… they were all pretty mini in my opinion… Anyways , I paid over £30 and they still wanted to charge me for extra for the tiniest bit of wasabi and soy sauce because I needed gluten free. Seems a bit unfair as I am intolerant and I don’t particularly agree with paying extra because of that. After charging me mentioning they are giving me an extra wasabi for free was a bad joke tbh - clearly after the money and not the care that customers come back. unfortunately my first and last time.

What has happened to this restaurant ? we ordered a delivery and the food was terrible ! we have supported Bath Sushi for years and never had the food come so bland as tonight. we tried their new dishes, a beef black bean noodle dish and a Tofu veg noodle broth, both were watery with a total lack of flavour. Not as described on their website.

Despite what the sign says inside, you can't ask anything about their allergens if you suffer from any kind of food intolerance. Our waitress was clueless about which dishes contained dairy. We thought this was a language barrier and fortunately my wife was able to speak Cantonese with her, but it didn't help. I'd have walked away if we weren't part of a larger group who wanted to eat there. Although the food was ok, this completely spoiled the experience as anyone with any dietary requirements will know that unless you're sure what you eat is safe for you, it is impossible to enjoy a meal.

Tried some new dishes that Bath Sushi have on their new enhanced menu. The Singapore Vermicelli was excellent with succulent prawns and moist chicken. I love 'Singapore' flavoured dishes, and this was one of the best I have ever tasted. Delicious!!!!!!! Also tried the new crispy pork belly with rice. OMG, I thought the Singapore Vermicelli was excellent. The depth of flavour was exquisite in the pork!😋😋 Congrats to Chen and the team. Well recommended indeed!!! Give it a visit, you will not be disappointed!!

Excellent taste of Eel Rice and cool green tea. Other sushi are good and fresh. It is next to Sansbury supermarket that can park your car there

The sushi was amazing, but unfortunately the service was terrible. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks order of water to come, and had to remind the waitress to bring it. We were told that the food would take a long time to arrive, and that we had to move tables- the waitress didn't explain why, but we moved and then another two people took our last table, so not sure why we had to move (there were 2 of us). We waited 50 minutes for food to start arriving, and were offered nothing on the house or an apology. It's frustrating because there were Deliveroo orders being collected constantly- so obviously they prioritise these and don't care about customers dining in, which is a shame! Wouldn't reccomend

Honestly the best sushi you can get in Bath. Myself and my partner order from here all the time and we are never disappointed. The food is utterly delicious and I would get it every week if I could!

We live in Bath and had been keen to try this restaurant as we live Sushi. We eventually got there last week. Restaurant pretty basic but big plus it has air con ! Service quick but not special. Sushi was good but we enjoyed the chicken rice bowl dish we had the most and thought we would order a takeaway of 3 dishes of it for the following week. It’s not cheap. 😬 We ordered via Deliveroo and excitedly waited. What a disappointment, the dish was no where near the dish we experienced the following week. I emailed the restaurant twice with pictures and got no response. Their website says they want feedback and customer satisfaction but it seems they actually don’t! We won’t be visiting again. Waitrose actually do the best Sushi in Bath not Bath Sushi and you get great customer care! I will add pictures of the first dish purchased then the follow up take out version.

Unbelievably disappointing. This is my go-to place whenever I visit Bath. It used to be one of the reasons I came to Bath. Not anymore. The food was good, not exceptional, but it is very expensive. Also, and this is the main reason for my complaint, it took forever. I don’t think I have ever waited so long in a restaurant. The chef was busy making takeaway dishes, so our plate of raw fish took over an hour to make. All he needed to do was put five slices of three different types of fish on a plate with four prawns and some roe. He actually forgot the roe. I was so hungry when it eventually arrived that I didn’t particularly enjoy it.

Should really be called bath noodle because their noodle dishes are so good. The broths are so flavourful and rich. Having said that, the sushi is actually pretty average. Service is always of great quality.

Delivery time is still very good with a friendly driver. Food came still hot and tasty. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the food quality is because I have had better from them in the past. This is the first time it has been less than amazing so hoping for better next time.

We visited for the first time with a friend, and decided to sit in the restaurant. The food was all absolutely delicious! My partner and I are both vegetarian, and were happy to discover that there were lots of veggie options! Food was great, service was very friendly, and the food all came out quickly. We will definitely be back! :)

Great food! Absolutely freaking great food!!!! I cried out of joy. They are currently shut for a break, but oh my lord am I counting down the days until they reopen. For those complaining about parking, there is a big Sainsbury's two minutes away with lots of parking.

When we arrived we were surprised at how small the place is, but this only added to the charm. Seeing your food being prepared is always a treat and the staff were really attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and we tried quite a few different dishes. My only criticism was that it was a bit on the pricy side.

Best sushi in Bath and great staff. We ordered the unagi don and prawn gyoza and they were delicious! Would highly recommend, we are looking forward to our next visit ourselves.

Food is good. Quality is very nice. Quantity is not very big. Price is high for quantity given. Will recommend for someone to enjoy sushi but will need to spend quite much for a good meal. Around £15-20. Overall very good food. Seating is not a lot in the restaurant but can manage a couple of groups indoor and some outdoor.

This is our local Japanese restaurant and we feel very lucky to have it down the road. The salmon skin maki in the sushi set menu are one of the best maki I have ever had. The octopus balls/takoyaki are absolutely delicious and the seafood udon is lovely. This is the only take away food we get now!

You want ramen where the noodles are clearly from an instant noodle packet? You want salmon slices that are browning around the edges because they're that old? You want squid balls with batter so thick you've gotta chew through it? Most overhyped place I've seen on JustEat.

Food is great, freshly prepared and very tasty. But Jesus almighty, the parking. Took me 30 mins to find a place and eventually I had to leave the car on the pavement. That is probably the reason I'll look elsewhere, expecially if I want to dine in.

Don't order delivery. They won't stop spamming you with texts. I've both phoned up to complain and reported them to TPS, they still haven't stopped.

Prices have massively increased since last ordered in April. Also, the chicken katsu rice bowl came with no sauce - be sure to order the chicken katsu CURRY rice bowl!

Driver doesn’t deliver to the door and leaves it’s in no where near your place It says on there site they deliver to your door but they don’t I will advise anyone to who lives is a apartment not to use this restaurant simply because of the delivery driver I can’t get about at the moment and it’s so hard for me to leave the apartment The delivery driver is rude and quite frankly useless! Shame really because I loved the food
