Nice guys, but the quality of the food has plummeted since they shut down for a bit some months ago. They're often almost empty, and It seems like things aren't going brilliantly for them. I think this is more to do with the quality and opening times though, since they're never open during the busiest business hours. Plenty of seating inside, but seating area has no character though, I've never felt compelled to try a sit-down in there.

On a recent trip to Cardiff, we were looking for something a bit different. This Peruvian chicken restaurant ended up ticking all of our boxes. Excellent and attentive service. The soup and bread were absolutely delicious - nice n' spicy. We had a main meal - chicken, rice, salad etc on a large plate. This was pretty substantial and we were quite full afterwards. Did not really need the soup as well but having tasted the soup, we were glad that we did. Nice extra - offer of tea on the house. The food was also excellent value for money. This is one place that is well worth a visit and I hope to return when I visit Cardiff again.

This cafe has the simplest menu and that's because their speciality is rotisserie chicken and rice. The chicken is super tender and very tasty, served with lovely rice, a portion of chips and salad. Portions are very big too. Its clean and the prices are very reasonable, lovely owner.

The man who is working there is extremely polite,kind and thoughtful! I am extremely pleased with him and the food.Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Great food, I was looking for something economical to eat on Salisbury road and went here and the food the staff was amazing unexpectedly will come here again.

I came here with my parents and my little sister for dinner. The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered a whole chicken meal that came with salad, chips and the best rice I have ever had in my life. For the price we paid it was an absolute bargain! (we probably would have paid more at a McDonald’s) The chicken was so tender and perfectly cooked with a lovely skin, the rice was flavourful with a nice bite to it and the salad was refreshing (with maybe a red wine vinaigrette I can’t quite tell). The chips were crunchy and hot BUT the most amazing part in my opinion was the green sauce that we ordered. Honest to god, I have never tasted heaven like it. It was garlicky and fresh and really highlighted the taste of everything else. The price we paid for a meal for four people was so worth it. The place is a bargain, I think a quarter chicken with rice meal was £5 and this isn’t a small portion. The owner was super friendly, he was patient and nice and could tell he really cared about the food. I would 100% go back (I already have) and highly recommend to all chicken lovers. It’s better quality than Nando’s and is an absolute bargain. Perfect for a meal with friends at any time of the day

Stumbled upon this place while very hungry, and convinced my husband to try something new. For 2 meals, we spent less than 10£. The food was sooo good, the atmosphere relaxed, and food came out quickly and hot. I did want to exchange my chips (came with the meal, 1.5£ separately) for onion rings (1£, separately) but that was a no go. Oh well. Overall great food, great price, great atmosphere, good portion, and clean. 👍👍👍

I have eaten here a few times. The staff are friendly and the food is tasty and excellent value. The menu is limited, but for good quality chicken, this is the place. The chicken burger is exceptional - clean, good quality meat with avocado and tasty sauce. I really recommend this for anyone who likes chicken and chips with rice and salad or a tasty chicken soup.

Heard about this place a while ago.. it did not disappoint! The chicken was so tasty and moist with perfect charcoal crispy skin.. chips were lovely and the sauces went well. Having being in Cardiff for 5 years, this place replaced Noodle box. Introducing a rotisserie restaurant specialising in Chicken. The menu is quite small with around 8 different options to choose from. I ordered the 1/4 Chicken with rice and chips, the chickens bursts with flavour being very succulent and delicate. The rice was elegantly cooked adding the Peruvian style sauce brings everything together. Will be returning back again.

What an amazing place, the menu itself is very small and limited but that is the point and the star of the show, but the chicken they do is amazing. It's well cooked and fresh, you can sometimes see them cooking in the rotisserie. The prices are very affordable and competitive for what you get, the portion sizes are very generous, you get rice, chips, salad and sauce along with whichever chicken portion size you pick (quarter, half or whole). The place itself is very basic and minimal and very clean, but the basic and minimal doesn't matter too much as the food is the star of the show, you're not going to a resturant to sightsee! As long as the food is good then that's all you need right? I would definitely recommend this place, it deserves a try at least if you are not sure!!

Turkish chief that makes great peru- style chickens and amazing sauces (especially coriander sauce 😍) 🧡 You definitely HAVE TO at least TRY it, and you will surely come back again 😉. Nice interior. Could not recommend this place more. I've been a few times now and the food is always fantastic and on top of that, brilliant value for money. The service is great too - you really feel valued as a customer.

This place has decent food for the price with quick and nice service. What limits this restaurant is the bareness of the interior design and makes it somewhat inappropriate for meals other than brunch. Other than this, it's a solid outing for food with friends.

Rarely do I leave Google reviews but felt i had to share how amazing the food and service was from Barn Rotisserie. The food is so delicious and the portion sizes are huge for the price. I had it delivered from Uber Eats and it arrived quickly and piping hot. Very much highly recommended
