Oh, a great old fashioned cafe, terrific home made food, very very reasonable prices. Staff very friendly. I had shepherd's pie, chips and peas, gravy, under £4. Delicious, we will definitely return here.

This spot is ideal for a quick friendly lunch with family or children. Good cheerful service. Quality of ingredients is ok. the price wont break the bank.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely cafe/diner in (Southgate, Elland). The service is unmatched. The staff really cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing - everything we tasted melted in other mouths.

Came in here yesterday for some coffee ☕ not over all expensive ,nice little cafe.

After a long drive from Shropshire my wife and I called in for a very late breakfast close to their closing time. Two well cooked meals were served in quick time. Very good and tasty. Polite and helpful staff. Perfect end to our journey.

I always get the large breakfast from here & it's always cooked perfectly. Staff are very polite & helpful. Very clean inside.

Fabulous food, great quick service, extensive menu, very reasonable prices and friendly staff. Food is always hot, good quality and served in generous portions. Cafe is open 7 days a week for mosy of the day. Nearby parking is available. Absolutely no complaints!!

What a lovely find. We only went in because it was raining. I've been past so many times, but its much nicer inside than it looks. And the food is great despite the suspiciously cheap prices. And very friendly staff. My children both really enjoyed their enormous Yorkshire puddings. And an all-day breakfast for me, at prices from about 10 years ago. My only suggestion is a bit better lighting so that it doesn't look as dingy from the outside, it might attract more people. I'll actually annoyed at myself for only discovering it now after so many years.

Me and my partner love coming here for a breakfast when we get the chance. The food is always consistently good quality, the decor is good and the staff are friendly.

Called in for a very welcome and cracking cup of tea and a coffee. Toasted teacakes are amazing as are the homemade tray bakes. Can't recommend this cafe enough and the prices are amazing. Good food, good cuppa. what more do you want.

Basic, nothing too fancy (that is not a criticism) but good. Staff are brilliantly helpful and friendly and go out of their way to help in any way they can. Really good.

Good value breakfast, and cafetiere coffee for £1.50. It's the ingredients that make a good full English breakfast, and this was very good.

This is not fine dining but for a cheap and cheerful lunch cant be beaten. All day breakfasts are served quickly by friendly waitresses. Menu at the momenta bit limited due to pandemic but usually a full varied menu Clean, pleasant surroundings and parking nearby.

Having some time to kill I called in for something to eat. I was greeted upon entering and directed to a table. My order was taken very quickly and after a short wait my food arrived. The large breakfast was beautiful and at £6.50 was very reasonably priced for what it included. I will definitely be going back when in Elland.

My favourite cafe in halifax never mind Elland large breakfast every weekend always spot on and staff are great if ur not from the area this is the cafe for u, u will thank me later

Good breakfast. We only had the small one but it was plenty. Comes with Toast, tea or coffee. The coffee is good as well. It was busy but the service was very efficient and friendly. Looked at the menu and there was plenty of choice. The only thing I wasn't keen on is all the dark wood it made the room darker. I will definitely go again..

We have become regulars here over the past couple of years, coming from work in Elland at least once a week and have never been disappointed. Nice friendly staff, decent food, great prices

Good food but very inflexible. Outright refuse to swap any items on a breakfast. They let you ask for a swap but then charge you for the additional items without deducting anything you remove. Also they use pots of UHT milk instead of real milk!

Lovely friendly staff with prompt service and wholesome tasty food. We will return to try some of the other homemade desserts.

From the moment you step foot inside this quirky bespoke cafe your made to feel welcomed, the service is top quality along with the food that’s served, your meal is always served with a smile and in super fast time too, tastes good and great portion size, amazingly low priced meals, spotlessly clean where ever you look......All in all would definitely recommend to anyone and will continue to be a returning customer 👍🏼

The cafe is fairly small, but the food is quite cheap and decent quality, although you do need to choose the right things off the menu. With a big burger with chips, salad and a drink being around £5 and an English breakfast at £3.75, I often go with my grandparents who love a bargain!

Lovely staff, and really fast service even though they were busy. Came for breakfast, the food itself was all a bit cheap, cheap sausages and bacon etc. It could have done with being a cheaper price for what you got really. Also one of our coffee cups was very dirty.
