Barca Bar in Chesterfield

Excellent service. Great selection of drinks and an all round good atmosphere. Would 100% recommend. The staff were friendly and advised us on the great selection of cocktails they have.

I just thought this worth a mention. I visit most weeks and bring my elderly Mum in on the weekend for coffee in Barca Bar. We are always greeted and served with the warmth and kindness of your staff. Its a lovely cosy environment and nice to have some quality time in such lovely surroundings. We love our weekly trip there and have no plans to change our coffee meet any time soon to a different venue.

Lovely spot for a coffee after the weekly shop. The interior is well thought out with comfortable and clean seating. The Olive tree is a great feature, our kids were very intrigued as to how it got there.

We ate here at Barca Bar this evening and I must say both the food and service was second to none. The place itself has a really nice welcoming feel to it, the staff were really attentive and the food was spot on too. I’d highly recommend the steak fajitas, but my wife’s ham & pineapple pizza was excellent too.

I've been here since this build, I am working away, every time I came home I always want to have a lunch or dinner here coz I love the place. But this time when I came if I don't approach the waiter at the door he don't come and welcome me. Then he told me to seat anywhere free. I was waiting for 20 minutes no one came to take my order and they are not busy. I went to the bar and told the lady that I was waiting for a whike and no one came to take the order. She told that she's coming over to take the order. I was waiting again for 5 minutes still no one came. Then the other waiter and waitress came I thought they will take my order, but what they've done is they just cleaning the tables. If I don't asked them that I want to order they come to me. How redeculouse these staff are. I am not really happy. You have a good hotel supposedly reputation, but when it come to your staff that they don't care your customers that is not good for your business.

We called in for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. I had 3 tapas which were all delicious, my husband had the steak sandwich and chips which was a good size and he said it was tasty. The drinks were great and the service was good. The tapas was particularly good so we’ll be returning for that.

Lovely place but very disappointed with the service and the food. Went out as a party of 8 for a birthday, we had to wait about 50mins for our food to arrive, the 2 steak plates we had come was cold, we was told it was 2 x 16oz steaks, which wasnt the case, we didnt get a blue cheese sauce after asking a few times. A fish and chips where the batter was very very dark brown, 1 sandwich with a side of chips that never came, again asking a good few times. We had a few tapas dishes, they was lovely, but £8 of 3 small potato croquettes (like ping pong size) which was disappointing. The service for drinks was poor, at one point we was asked if we would like any drinks, when the guy come across he took 1 person drink and dissappeared to get that, when he came back we had to say we also would like to order drinks. At the end of the meal we was wanting to have another round of drinks and look at the dessert menu. Which we was just met with the bill. Very disappointed as i know the restaurant upstairs was fantastic last time we ate in there.

Visited here for lunch with a friend on a break from work so time was of the essence. Our lunch took about 15 mins to come out but consider how busy it was I was happy about this. The service was as good and friendly as it always is. We both ordered the chicken fajitas, which were delicious. My only issue was how large the wraps were, I think 2 or 3 slightly smaller wraps would work better, not ta o small, something in between. I also would have like another plate to build my fajita & roll it but otherwise it was amazing!

First class. The drinks selection is particularly excellent. Lots of specialist drinks and cocktails to choose from including drinks from the Connoisseurs Cabinet. The bar is very stylishly decorated and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They also do food and tapas which was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend and the atmosphere was relaxed and social. I would be very happy to go back.

Massive thank you to the Casa team and a special mention to Charlotte Wickert who made the best of the experience and made sure our glasses were always full! Such friendly service, would highly recommend!

I went for drink and tapas after work with friends. The choice of cocktails is excellent, and there is also a selection of mocktails. We like to go early for deals on cocktails. We had the tapas which is a good as any I have had. The staff are polite and friendly. Great night.

Recently visited here for lunch. The whole decor feels warm and inviting as soon as you walk in. Staff are all very efficient, helpful and friendly. Our lunch was well presented and very tasty and it was such a pleasant atmosphere to be able to chat with our family. Would definitely go there again. Thank you very much for helping to make our family get together such a lovely time.

Having made my reservation via Cocina on the website and received e mail confirmation from Cocina, we were disappointed to be sat at a table in the Barca Bar (especially as this was supposed to be a celebratory meal). Food wise the meat was fabulous, however the vegetables were tepid and the roasts had the texture of small boulders. We waited over 20 minutes with empty plates and glasses (during which time we decided not to have dessert or another drink). Ultimately we approached the bar ourselves and settled the bill. Please note this is not a reflection on the gentleman who was front of house and was working very hard ..seemingly all by himself. More a comment on staffing provisions. I am happy to pay a premium for decor, great food etc. However in this instance we found the experience lacking.

For someone who does not drink i had a Mocktail a day here and the strawberry Daraqui mocktail was my favourite thanks Sarah for making them for me all the time, mUsic excellent in the bar and lovely outside seating area also great

Although Google shows that the Barca Bar at Casa is open 24 hours it is not open on Sunday lunchtime, we were told that it is not open until 3 pm on Sunday so we ended up in the restaurant which IS open at lunchtime. The food was excellent as usual, we have dined at Casa on several occasions. Maybe Casa should review the content of their website which is somewhat confusing.

Attended with family for a celebratory meal. Very relaxing and somewhere a few hours just disappear. Felt like we were waiting a long time for our mains, over an hour.. but the food was very nice when it came. See pictures. The gravy was amazingly rich and sumptuous, perfect with the massive Yorkshire pudding! The Sirlon was nice and tender but didn’t blow me away. On the pricey side, I mean £8 for a brownie that didn’t taste anything different to something in Tescos was a bit disappointing. Maybe just needs a bit more creativity around it, or maybe I’ve just not caught up with inflation yet! All in all enjoyable for a meal or just a few drinks. Staff very polite and helpful.

We came to the terrace yesterday and had a lovely time! The food was delicious, the staff friendly and attentive and the whole atmosphere with the live music was perfect. Since the reopening of outside areas We’ve been to a few places and most have been a bit hit and miss service wise (which is understandable) however these guys really nailed it. The heaters actually kept everyone nice and warm and even when it started to rain for a few minutes they brought out umbrellas and huge warm blankets. Thank you ❤️

Great food, but very very slow service to say there were plenty of free space. We had starters and tapas but after 1 hour of waiting for them to come and ask us if we wanted dessert we didn’t bother. Loved the food and the service when we got it was friendly. What a shame.

The menu in the bar has some very interesting dishes on it. An excellent caesar salad and a quite exceptional vegetarian curry, but the whole experience was let down by the friendly, but inattentive service.

Couldn't fault the food but oh dear what have they done to the interior. The tables are so sticky you don't feel like touching them. It would also be nice if when booking a table that you were told that you'd be perching on a high stool, not good if you have a mobility problem. However, we were kindly moved to a table when one became available. I'd also suggest that I'd expect the waitress, again long blonde hair in a pony tail, to know the menu. ie what is the type of fish? what is included in some dishes. Not necessarily her fault as even after going and asking she was told wrong because she came back with the wrong answer. What she said was not what my googling it described the dish to be and what the delivered dish was. If I'd been unable to eat cheese I would have had to send the dish back. I'm sure the fish was not what she said either but my husband was happy. No condiments offered either . Poor table service overall.

Unbelievable. I been a guest in literally hundreds of hotels all over the world and never have I had a rude blonde serving girl with a pony tail stroll up to me and try and tell me where I can and can’t sit in a public bar area. Not that there were any reserved areas just being awkward about it. Then I asked for a receipt for my food and beverage and instead was given a room bill. Clearly she doesn’t know the difference. So, at the end, to avoid leaving without paying I asked the guy behind the bar to check the paperwork and indeed she’d failed to record my order or generate a proper receipt. Total incompetence!

Been here lots of times for a meal in the bar. Disappointed today. The table was dirty, it was cleaned when we mentioned it to the waitress. The meal was average. Had to send my drink back as it was soda not lemonade. Went to pay at the bar told the barman we were disappointed, he asked if anyone had been to us during our meal + had we told them. No one had been to us. He said we could fill out a comment card. All in all very disappointed.

The bar is a nice place to socialise but the music was too loud. I understand it was Saturday night and they have DJ but nobody was dancing/paying attention to the music and everyone was trying to talk so maybe that could have been a cue to turn it down?

On your own or being socialable, a great place to refresh with a coffee. Although the cups are a little small, you may need 2 drinks but at least they come with a home made cookie, a nice addition

We were staying at the Casa hotel and went to Barca for pre dinner cocktails. Service was great with a good choice on the menu including non alcoholic cocktails. I choose a Long Island Iced Tea and my husband chose the Espresso Martini. The prices were reasonable at £7 each given that last month in New York we paid $27 for a cocktail!! The drinks were delicious and the martini was one of the best - my husband loves espresso martinis!! My Long Island Iced Tea was also delicious so I just had to have a second! Would definitely recommend this bar

We have always enjoyed the food in Barca bar however on our last visit we decided to eat outside and was very put off with the cleanliness. Tables wonky and no glass on top so my drink spilt everywhere, chairs dirty, the floor covered in cigarettes and litter. Very off putting when your eating food.

We have eaten at this hotel before in the evening whilst visiting family and it was wonderful. We had to attend a funeral and stopped off for lunch before. We sat in the bar downstairs (restaurant not open at lunchtime). There were 4 of us one had a wrap (can't do much wrong with that) one had sausage and mash (can't do much wrong with that) and two of us had Pizza's. They were so over cooked that the dough was dark brown the topping was supposed to be tomato and cheese and we asked for anchovies - yes we have had them before and they are salty and normally you have a pizza with about 3 - 4 anchovies on the top. The whole of the pizza was covered with anchovies and was so salty. We all ordered soft drinks with no ice (driving etc.,) and when we asked for a top up of one coke, the same waitress bought it with ice - nothing much but you thought she would have remembered. It took about 15 mins for the table to be cleared before we could sit down (two glasses and a carton on it). Whilst paying £65.70 for lunch my husband mentioned about the pizza's and the waitress said why didn't you say something - we had no choice as we had to attend the funeral. Why the kitchen sent out such disgusting pizza's in the first place was quite a puzzle. I will copy this review to the hotel itself. I go by what I am given and if it is good, like the last time we ate I will say so, but this was really disgusting and the staff should be ashamed about serving it.

Really enjoyed a girls night out here last night, we got there as early as we could after work to take advantage of the 2 for 1 offer on cocktails and gins which is on until 7 mon-Friday.

I really enjoyed our little stop off at Barca bar, we hadn’t booked and just stopped here by chance before going to the cinema! The food was delicious... especially the chips and steak sandwich! Good food and great service! Will definitely go back!

Friends and I popped in for a quick drink only to be offered drinks in lipstick stained glasses. The staff changed them but no apology. We weren’t overly impressed although the ambience was ok and brought the star rating up

Ate here with the girls at work for a pre-Christmas lunch and it was very good overall.

This is the bar at the Casa hotel which serves good bar food of restaurant quality. We have been a few times and each time the food has been superb. The fish and chips are wonderful as are many of the tapas or starters. I had a burger that was huge and.very succulent. My wife loves the leek and potato soup - a meal in itself although only a starter. As for desserts, our favourite is a New York cheesecake that is "to die for". The only reason I have not given the top rating is down to one occasion when we had a long wait for meals and when our reserved table had been given to someone else and we had to wait for a table to be free. However, the food is good so it overcomes such difficulties.

I ate here on Thursday whilst staying at Casa. I must say the food and service was second to none, well done to one and all.

Celebramos el cumpleaños de mi marido aquí en mayo sin niños! Sólo fuimos para una copa y tapas, pero tenía un tiempo relajante. Amplia selección de gin para elegir. Tapas era deliciosos. El servicio ofrecido por la señora de detrás de la barra era genial. Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez que estemos sin niños!

Always enjoy a meal in the bar at the casa - yes it's a bit pricey but we've always had good service and good food - can recommend the burgers and also the duck wraps ... also the Pina colada's

.... £3 for a cup of tea or coffee. And the musak in the bar is always too loud! Nice place on outside, plenty of free parking, nice helpful staff, supermarket with a cafe across the road if you need to recover from menu prices.

Nos alojamos en el Hotel CASA. De abril de 2017. Comimos un par de veces en el bar. Lugar muy agradable. Tuve lasaña y pareja tuvo sobresaliente. Estaba muy bien presentada, agradable y fresco. El personal era minimalista pero lo suficientemente amable.

Busy at lunchtime which is always a good sign & service was good and friendly. Good choice of food which was well cooked. Good for a business lunch

As the title says great atmosphere, great staff and I should have added fabulous food with great presentation. For starters we went for a variety of tapas to share and from the prawns, to the calamari, the chorizo with red peppers, charcuteria board, flash fried green peppers were all just superb. The rib-eyed steak was also superb and cooked to perfection again with great presentation. Although I didn't try the fajita's the comments on them were great and I just loved the presentation. A huge thanks to all at the Barca Bar for great night with brilliant service and fabulous food.

Two of us had a meal in the Barca bar in the week before Christmas. We started with excellent Tapas of bacon &cheese croquettes and garlic prawns. Our main course was fish and chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce and it was so tasty. The New York style cheesecake was the best ever. This was our first visit to this ground floor bar within the Casa Hotel and it won't be our last. Service was attentive and friendly and prices, although hotels can be much much higher, these were actually competitive and little more than a lot of bars and restaurants locally.

Came here for coffee just before Xmas. Was well impressed with the festive decorations in the bar and around the reception. Beautiful gold lights. Sat in lovely big deep sofas and had cappuchinos and americanos. So good we had seconds. Nice home made almond biscuits came with the coffees. Not many people in though so not much atmosphere. Staff were friendly and efficient.

I would say this is a luxury bar - good for a night out :-) It's a bit out of town though so a taxi would be needed.

Quirky bar, friendly staff. Menu has good choice and lots of cocktails etc. Sometimes difficult to get a table.

Only recently discovered this place, but it has a really good atmosphere and a great range of drinks.Not the cheapest place in (or out of) town, but the decor and atmosphere more than make up for that.Love the place.

We were staying at the hotel, but had not booked for dinner, which was not a problem. As we were dining early, we were offered two menus, an early bird menu at an attractive price, and the a la carte.The tapas style starters were excellent, my husbands fillet steak was very good, and my chicken with artichokes, pea purée, broad beans was beautifully presented, and very tender. We enjoyed our meal very much

I ate here this week whilst staying at the wonderful Casa hotel. The food and service being second to none, well done to all.Would highly recommend the Scotch Eggs for starters, they are fantastic for sure.

Recently came here with friends to celebrate my wife's birthday. The standard was pretty good, I think it has improved on recent times and there seemed to be a bit more variety than previously. We ordered calimari, croquettas, and the meat platter which were all really nice, with scotch eggs which were not amazing but still not bad. The waiter got a bit defensive when we ordered and I told him to bring things out as they were cooked, rather than waiting until everything was ready, as we were all sharing and wanted to eat things while they were hot. At this point he said something along the lines of "I can't communicate this to the kitchen, it will be ready when it's ready" which was a bit unnecessary as he could have just said "I'll see what I can do" so he worked his way out of a tip but it was nice other than that.

Really enjoyed our time at Barca. Connected to the Casa Hotel (which is also excellent), the place has a lovely, modern relaxed atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and food too. Lovely place.

Disappointed with this one, so crowed with wedding guests and other that social conversation not possible. To conduct business meetings or just meet for a drink somewhere else is advisable. Went to meet 6friends there and we had to shout at each other to be heard over the noise. Gave up and moved elsewhere, they should advertise their frequent conferences and wedding plans to allow others to avoid such events.

Nice place based in Casa Hotel, standard is excellent but in truth quite expensive for the town. Good tapas menu but prepare to pay a premium to eat here, even brunching. Great drinks menu though and easy access by car.

I think this is trying to be something it never will be. Staff were very helpful but the range of beers and food were awful. I wish I had went to KFC instead, at least you know what you are getting. The chips were over cooked - "double fried" whatever that means, and my chicken was a boiled rather than roasted checken. Will not eat here again

Yes this was a convenient place for us to meet local friends and us get home easily. Usual prices for hotel bar drinks which is slightly on the pricey side but not too extortionate. We had reserved a table with a view of maybe eating in the cocina restaurant instead. Anyway we had a few afternoon drinks on the terrace first before we decided. Sun was shining and the drinks flowing nicely. we decided to eat in the bar as there was plenty on the menu to keep us happy. We were set up in a booth that was reserved and offered some privacy while being part of the action. We selected a range of tapas dishes and ribeye steak (which I think to be taken from their own locally bred cattle and well looked after). All was delicious and the steak cooked as ordered. The booth did resemble the Barcelona arty style which I loved and to say we were in a hotel bar I think a good job has been done to create an atmosphere. The tapas were well presented with good quality ingredients and cooking. The staff were great though out the night and Jess was friendly and had a laugh when interacting with us. Will definitely be returning for more of the same and would probably be more inclined to stay over as the hotel itself is nicely presented. well done and thanks!

We stayed at this hotel for four nights an had one lunch and four evening meals here. The sandwiches are very nice, if a little on the large side. The choice for evening meals was good and every meal that we had was delicious.

I ate here whilst staying in the Casa hotel on Monday night and have to say I was suitably impressed.The tapas were fantastic, as were the fajitas, not to mention the ice cold Estrella Damm.Well done to all, see you soon.

I've been here a few times in the Bar for drinks, with friends and for our Christmas party! Their cocktails are good and very consistent. Nibbles, bread and olives etc are also good quality. Not eaten here properly so I can't comment on the food, but based on everything else I'm sure it's good. Bar men are really nice, some staff more talkative/confident than others (which we like) Really nice, classy place to have a drink any day of the week.

This bar has a great atmosphere with some first class single malt Scotch whisky, if you need a nightcap or just a glass of something before dinner - the art is particularly attractive

We have been 2 or 3 times on a Friday night for posh drinks and tapas. We like the fact that they will serve your drinks and food to your table. Tapas is good but it has been slightly better on previous visits - the calamari was all crunch and very little fish. Nice atmosphere and relaxed.

Nice hotel with really friendly staff however the food I was served was raw in the middle which was the same for everyone else in our group so pretty poor but the staff sorted us with some cakes after to make up for it and but the price of the drinks in the bar is a bit steep

We had lunch here today and I ordered Club Sandwich which in the menu said it was with alioli. I was really looking forward to this little taste of Spain in my lunch but alas, although the food was very good, there was not even a hint of alioli about it. The girl serving us was also rather miserable. Verdict: it was OK but I doubt I will go again.

The food we had here was amazing. Great cocktails and the bar staff were happy to substitute spirits to make me sweet cocktails which was great. Some of the staff were lovely. Some miserable. All in all we had a great time and will be returning

I took my wife for a meal for her birthday, we arrived early to have a cocktail in the bar before our meal, there were six empty tables but none of them were clean enough to sit at, people had eaten bar snacks but had left the tables in a terrible state so we stood at the bar,they still hadn't been cleared 30 minutes later when we went for our meal which was faultless the only thing that let it down for me was the waitress asked if we would like water on our table which we said yes but when I received the bill they had charged me £3.50 for tap water which I think was petty as the bill came to well over £100 for the two of us.

On a whim we saw the hotel and drove around the roundabout to enjoy a tapas lunch. Memories of wonderful meatballs, potato bravas, stuffed mushrooms were just that. The current menu is okay but very limited. We enjoyed the cheese croquettes, prawns, scotch eggs and hummus, but with a coffee and half a lager the cost was just under £30. We had picked the best of the menu, perfectly ok, but there was nothing left to tempt us back for a return lunch. Worth a visit, but be prepared to be surrounded by officeless business people ordering sandwiches and using laptops.

My boyfriend and I went to Barca bar on Friday 15th January, which was not our first visit- we have been many times and it never lets us down. We shared a bottle of Macabeo which was enjoyable and easy to drink. We ordered fajitas each which were delicious and a portion of sweet potato wedges to share which were unbelievable! We sat in a booth which was very comfortable and private and was served by a lovely lady. I always enjoy spending time at Casa, not only in the bar but in the restaurant also and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Nice bar warm and friendly even in the extremely busy Christmas period. Had a few pints prior to heading out for a meal. I like that for a big hotel it actually has real ale on a hand pump.

The menu is varied. There are about 12 different tapas choices, salads, paninis/sandwiches, a pizza, burger, fish and chips and I had fajitas. This came with a choice of chicken or beef.We went at lunch time and hadn't booked but got a table no problem. It is a relatively small restaurant/bar but well decorated and had a great vibe about it. It's a smart/casual place. You could go here if you are just wanting to drink and not get food.Service was efficient and the staff were friendly. The food was really tasty and portion sizes were very generous. Certainly didn't leave hungry.As it is a hotel there is plenty of free parking.Should I be in the area again then I would definitely go again.

Attended a wedding here 6/11/15 first round of drinks £7.50 second round same as the first £11.75 third round £14.00 same drinks .Then i gave up exatly the same drinks £16.00 my partner went to the bar and complained the girl added it up again £14 this time she couldnt even add two pints up at £ 4.50 each in her head . where do they get these people .

I have eaten here for breakfast, lunches and supper - always super food served really well. never disappointed. really nice bar menu - the tapas are super quality and great value.

My Saturday evening would not be complete without my coffee at the casa staff friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing

I met my good friend here for a quick afternoon birthday drink.4 hours later we were still there we had gossiped the hours away over glasses of Cava, Prosecco and some really impressive (and surprisingly good value) sandwich platters.We were lucky it was a summers day and so the terrace was open, it felt like we were abroad. The very smartly dressed waiter was very professional and attentive and helped us move indoors when it started to shower.The decor is lovely Spanish but contemporary, it has a good feel, the terrace is basically overlooking the car park but nice to be outdoors all the same.Am looking forward to visiting again. a great meeting point for us friends living at opposite ends of town.

Both me and my friend dined here on Monday evening and what a great time me had. We had a few of the tapas to start and both had the fish and chips for mains and for £10.50 it represents excellent value for money!The only issue was the volume of the football on the tele - maybe just down a few knocks.Thanks again!

Our party sampled pretty much everything on the menu between us, and it was all eaten with gusto. Delightfully presented bistro food.

This is my favourite bar in Chesterfield Has a lovely continental/Spanish feel to it with an excellent variety of decent spirits, mixed beers on draft and bottled. They are also pretty good at the cocktails and excellent snack food.

Authentic delicious pizza, a REALLY amazing service, great ambiance. Nothing else to add other than far exceeds your typical city centre hotel bar. Well done!

Good range of cocktails, drinks and bar snacks in a pleasant wood panelled rather quirkly designed bar. Specials available and there's a Spanish theme to the menu and the decor. Outdoor seating available too and as it's sunny, you could almost be in Spain...apart from the dual carriageway and Tesco opposite

My review is only based on a recent visit to the Casa bar which evidently is working to attract customers from the local area based on the amount of advertising I see. I've been to events at Casa before and not particularly felt over or underwhelmed by the service, this visit was a little different. Went in with a friend having viewed menus for the bar online, had intended to eat that evening in either the bar or restaurant, noted that in the bar prices for bottles were significantly more than online. Initially told by a waiter the website was 'out of date' then told by another more superior worker the online menus and prices are purely 'samples', we asked would Casa offer the products for the online prices and told not but we could have a bottle if cava for £21?! hence we left. £26 for a bottle of prosecco - just not justified. Went went elsewhere inside Chesterfield town centre where prices were just more reasonable and reflective of costs. Casa needs to rethink it's pricing strategy and remember it is out of town and next to a busy bypass with little else close by and within walking distance therefore people are making a special visit to this hotel. We won't return or recommend based on this experience I'm sorry to say.

Popped in the wine bar the other day for lunch. The staff are always great here, club sandwich and chips for me great meal but guys please lower your prices you'll be full!Beer expensive but I'll pay for a good pint but the lunch food is way out on price, there's a good amount for what you pay but that is really expected by the tag attached.

Iv been here a few times. The food and service is always great, the sandwiches are really big (Casa club) and well presented. Wish there was a few more booths as there always seem to be taken

Been here a few times for lunch and dinner with my partner. The burger here is one of the best iv ever had, And it never disappoints. It can get every busy and its always seems to be difficult to get a booth. But the service and food is always good. Great please for a nice quiet drink

Went here just for a drink on the way back to our hotel. The cocktails were beautiful and the bar decor was lovely too. A bit pricey as I have had cocktails cheaper in Birmingham and London, so would have thought for a little town would have been a bit cheaper. But they were good and tasty so would still pay the price again.

Having stayed at the Casa, eaten several times in Cocina giving really positive reviews, and having previously used the Barca Bar, last Saturday night's experience was really not good. The bar was extremely busy, such that we were kept waiting over 15 minutes to be served. Preparation of cocktails for other customers was extremely time consuming, thus compounding the waiting time. The lack of active staff didn't help either. There was a group of young women who were screaming incessantly at each other, without thought for other patrons who perhaps wished for a quiet drink. It seems that the bar attracts numbers of 20 something non-residents to the detriment of paying guests. Our group limited ourselves to one drink and went elsewhere. Spoiled the whole ambiance of Casa.
