Food was incredible - best restaurant I have been to. We got there at 6 and got a table as soon as we got there. James was a lovely waiter and very friendly and helpful!

Having eaten a lot of food all over the world can genuinely say this was the best meal I have ever had! The food was incredible. Who knew Cauliflower could taste soooooo good! Will be back thank you 🙏

Wonderful tapas. Great, knowledgeable service. Loved it. Only disappointing part of the evening was going to the loo. Awful. Out of 3 loos, one lock didn't work and one was completely blocked.

For a Michelin star restaurant I expected more. The food was okay but not the best I’ve had. The food was okay, did not excite me. What did shock me was that the food gave me food poisoning!! Extremely disappointing after the amount I paid & tipped. So I would not recommend this restaurant.

Might be the best spanish-ish tapas in Nottingham. The food was unreal. Best churros I've maybe ever had.

Food was great, particularly the ribs, the lamb and beef pinchos. However, the market fish was not nice at all and ended up being the only dish left over by the end of the meal. Table server was excellent in suggesting what/how much to order and made sure we were taken care of. However, the lady who came to clear the table was passive aggressive (perhaps she was in a rush to finish as it was around 9:30ish on a Tuesday night) but she really annoyed us with that. This was supposed to be a lovely birthday meal for my dad but she ruined the vibe by the end of it.

Everything we ordered was absolutely superb, best tapas we've ever had!

Really helpful staff, we weren't waiting too long for service and they were attentive. Really interesting and delicious cocktails, wanted to order one of each! All 4 of us ordered a 'menu rapido' each which was enough per person, great for sharing. I couldn't get enough of the spicy mini chorizo, the crispy cauliflower was delicious and don't underestimate the sourdough bread with oils!

Came for lunch, food was really nice. Got the cauliflower, mushroom carpaccio and patatas bravas, they were all delicious and big portions! Staff are friendly and helpful and the place is really cute.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always excellent and so tasty and the service is spot on. Its always busy so be prepared for a bit of a wait for a table but it'll be worth it. Great atmosphere too 👌

i didn't know that this place is this much good! i am a huge spanish tapas fan so i was always thinking i would rather go to spain than eat in uk, but this place is actually spain standard!

Excellent tapas. Pleasant staff. Reasonable price.

Rude staff worker (hint: ginger). Refused to sit us straightaway, as a pair. We were given the option to wait 45 mins, whilst there were two free tables of four. We questioned why, and the meek, clueless waiter couldn’t even give us a reasonable and definite answer and insinuated that our custom was not valued over a party of 4. In the past we have been sat on a table of four as a pair, so why the sudden change of heart? And we always used to tip generously. We’re very put off from returning now. They don’t have a booking system and they are selective to whom they want as customers. BI need to humble themselves.

Great food, affordable prices for the standard. Very nice service with a Michelin star given for a reason. Even though the standard is high, the atmosphere is relaxed and the service is very nice. Great for going out with a group of friends to share food.

Visited for the first time on a Friday evening, myself and my son didn't have a table booked but only had to wait a few minutes, we were served by a lovely young lady who was very helpful and friendly...I didn't take my glasses so I couldn't see the menu and she guided me through it and also suggested some things to try, which were delicious. Highly recommend going, it was very busy so you may have to wait but it's worth it ..the service and food were fantastic...thank you Leah for your help it was very much appreciated x

Good place to drink, not good place to eat. 5/5 for drinks: many options for alcohol, wines, cocktails and cocktails. 2/5 for food: tastes for paella is pretty fishy and smelly, freshness could be improved a lot. Strange flavouring of beef that’s sour rather than savoury. Really average food compared to its drinks. 5/5 for service. Staffs are quite nice and lovely though. 4/5 for environment: nothing impressive but still clean and tidy enough. 4/5 for value: 10% service charge as discretionary. £29 for each person.

Popped in on spur of the moment Friday late lunchtime with a friend and so glad we did. Service was excellent, staff really friendly and helpful, the food was on point; worth going to for the sticky chicken alone £55 for 2 with drinks....... Worth every penny Well done Iberico, we will be back.

Oh my god! What a fantastic find! The food is absolutely amazing, totally delicious and mouth watering. The venue is really cool and cosy and the staff were all fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough for a brilliant ad-hoc lunch spot!

5 years later and this restaurant is still a delightful place to eat, beautifully cooked and very tasty. A busy Saturday afternoon, we were well looked after. Big shout out to Aaliyah, Amy and Matt for their help and smiles. This is a lovely place which can be very busy. Food comes out when it's ready which is never a long time. Delicious and well presented. Always check the specials board. Pleasant and attentive staff, nothing was to much trouble.

Been here 3 times with friends and enjoyed it everytime. When you think of bustling but relaxed dinner atmospheres this place nails it on the head, and the tapas is to die for. Plus it's actually affordable. Only downside is it can get packed very quickly, best shout is to avoid dinner-rush if you want a table

You'd expect more from a "Michelin" listed restaurant...

Great food & variety of options. Walk inns only but suits the casual dining vibe. The atmosphere was fantastic and we went on a Tuesday at 6.30 for menu rapido! (A deal where you get 2x tapas mains and 1x nibble). I was going to take pictures of the food as it was beautifully presented but I had to fight my partner for it! Delicious!

We had been recommended this restaurant by so many people so decided to stop by today for some food. They have amazing reviews on here and TripAdvisor so I did have really high expectations - staff lived up to these and were really helpful and informative about the dining experience. It was advised you order everything at once and it comes when it's ready, it doesn't arrive like starter, main, dessert etc. I think I misunderstood this thinking it just all came at the same time and not in separate courses. It's quite difficult because unless you are sharing everything, one of you could have almost finished your food whilst the other is still waiting on dishes a long time after. The truffle mushrooms came out cold - I didn't complain as I thought this must be the way they come, but I've never ordered mushrooms that have come out completely cold before which was strange. Flavours were okay on this dish The cod skewers came out extremely fishy & soaked in what appeared to be water of some sort, which is odd as usually overly fishy cod is a sign that the cod isn't fresh, so again can't say this was good! The beef onglet was amazing, but at this point I had filled up on bread as I hadn't enjoyed any other dishes so I didn't have room to eat it All in all I am really sad, as from reviews I can see others had such a good experience, but sadly for us it wasn't worth it :(

The market fish was one of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted in my life. The deal they do before 6.45 is amazing, go with a few people and you can try a lot of the menu for a good price. Food was amazing, service was even more amazing and the food was to die for. This isn’t just a place I’d recommend it’s a place I’d rave about. Recommend to anyone and everyone

Didn't have the food, staff was amazing , great private area downstairs.

Booked a table for 10 but 2 couldn’t make it so we had 8 for lunch. Charged us an extra £40 for the two who couldn’t make it on top of the hundreds we spent with them. A pretty shoddy excuse for hospitality. “It’s our policy… blah blah blah”

This is Our 2nd visit here really good food hip and vibrant venue Id say it was a must try for anybody visiting Nottingham

Bar Iberico was amazing, food is gorgeous, service fantastic and a warm friendly atmosphere. Will be heading here again next time we are in Nottingham.

Lovely place and set up. Dissspointed with the food. I had expectations of good spanish tapas and it did not deliver. Def more need of fresh options and certainly after what was stodgy greasy albeit tasty dishes, fresh fruit as an option fior a pudding was dry required and sadly unavailable. Sorry. Not for me.

We enjoyed our food, but the highlight for us was the excellent service given to us by our server Jasmyna . She was lovely and gave excellent service. I was also impressed by the range of sherries and Spanish draught beers

Went here twice , the first time food was exceptional , service abit slow , second time most of the food tasted dry ,so I guess it depends on who's cooking and how long the food was left out.

Delicious food and great service. We went for the lunchtime special; one grazing dish and 2 mains each which was a great deal. We added 2 extra dishes as we were hungry but in the end couldn't finish the food as dishes were fairly generous. Especially the crispy chicken. Very enjoyable meal!

Food was fantastic, very tasty and generous tapas portions. Service was lovely, made to feel very welcome and a great atmosphere in the restaurant. Ideally placed in the Lace Market area of Nottingham. Would highly recommend!

Good food, the baby squid was fairly chewy and some of the olives were a little under ripe, the brazed pork is incredibly good! Staff incredibly slow when wanting to pay.

5 star experience for me, the service was superb. The drinks were really great as well if you’re a sweet tooth I’d recommend trying the raspberry ripple cocktail. Food was really great as well, we had the Patatas Bravas, Crispy Chicken (which I highly recommend), Beef Onglet, Crispy Baby Squid & the Queso Fresco Flatbread. It’s a bit on the pricey end but it’s totally worth it. Will definitely be coming back!

Loved the food, but service wasn't the best. We've taken a table for four and spent around half an hour there from the moment our first tapas arrived and even though we've not had any breaks from eating, one young member of staff approached us and suggestively asked us questions which made us think like were being hurried. A favourite of ours but sadly we haven’t been for a couple of months. Service was great, as always, friendly staff. We had our usual, bellota ham and a spanish cheeseboard followed by a choice of the hot tapas. Today’s choice was the ponzu cured fish, fennel à la plancha and the cheese and onion empanadas. All were lush and beautiful, no complaints at all. We’ve been coming here for a number of years and it never disappoints!

Firstly this review has no bearing on the staff and manageress as they was very nice and helpful, the manageress apologised on the kitchens behalf. The rating is for the quality and service coming from the kitchen . We have eaten here many times and been excellent but not been in 2 years . The food was a poor standard . Chicken poor quality and toasted bread burnt hidden by tomato’s so we wouldn’t notice but you tasted the burnt . The food was pretty average on par with a boozer . The tapas service was also poor . My wife’s dish came out and nothing else for 10 minutes , we both had it slowly until the rest appeared with one starter ie bread and tomato coming last after the tapas . The manageress apologised and refunded the poor parts . Never again thanks .

A very busy night, but me & my friend ordered 6-8 dishes. They come out when each one is cooked, so if one takes longer, the rest of your food is getting colder, so that took the service to 4 stars. The food is packed with flavour, seasoning and/or spice and was very moreish. Good variety of dishes to choose from. Would recommend, but may try early evening or lunchtime next time

We tried this place for the first time on Saturday, after reading all the reviews. The positives: Great vibe, speedy service. The negatives: Food overly spicy - the Patatas Bravas was ludicrously hot. Set my tongue on fire and I couldn't enjoy the rest of the meal because of it. I do like some spice in my food, but not enough to completely swamp it. I When with friends, who had Travelled all the way from London Just to have a lunch and then get a tea time Train back to London... so it was important for me that everything went well. I was worried that the sister restaurant was closed And that With awake in only policy, we would end up scratching around for somewhere tasty to eat. We need not have worried although it does get very busy at lunchtime because of the city centre location. Mid afternoon, it gets really much quieter however And we had no problems finding a very good table for 4. Right next to the fully opened window seat. We took the advice of the staff and ordered the Special, which means that each person picks basically a starter type and two main dishes. They were a couple of options that were not included in this special £16.95 deal or that had a surcharge (But the staff were fine to work out, which was the best for you In terms of cost). I almost gave the food a 4 star. But only because there was a slight lack of knowledge. I'm behalf of the staff to be able to describe the dish that might arrive. And therefore we had one dish that nobody touched. Thankfully, I had ordered an extra Portion of another item which proved very popular and what's happy to pay the surplus. So the was really more than enough food for everyone. As we had 30 small tapas plate between 4 people. Which sounds like a lot, but they are very small portions on each However, I would say we did all come away satisfied. A dish of particular note is the Deep fried cauliflower. Although we thoroughly enjoyed the belly pork and the sourdough with olives too. It was only the sea bass being cold and not cooked Which is fine, but we just didn't realise. And it wasn't described very well, but with episode and 2 people of Caribbean and Sri Lankan origin any fish would. Normally have sufficed, however it was cooked. The service was excellent although it is worth noting. 10% tip is added to your bill which you have to choose to remove, but we didn't. I can see why this restaurant and the sister restaurant would be Aknowledged in the michellin guide. If you want to tantalise your taste buds and test your Tolerance of something new. Then this is definitely the place to go. Ordering Tapas food is Definitely a sharing experience. And that was just what We needed when catching up with friends We had not met for over 8 years. The 2 ladies from London have already decided that they're going to cook the cauliflower chilli at home. Food was really good, however staff wasn’t helpful at all. Never came to check on us, waited long for them to bring me a knife, also they brought my friend’s food 30 minutes after mine. You wouldn’t expect this from a place proud to be a Michelin restaurant. After all, food was great and the place really lovely.

We popped in here for lunch on a whim - it was before 12 and we were seated and served immediately. Everything we tried was really nice. I had the seabass ceviche all to myself and it was absolutely delicious. The hispi cabbage dish was lovely, and the cheese and charcuterie board was small but impressively delicious. I don't love truffle but the enoki mushroom dish was nice and the pickled mooli atop it was delicious. Our servers were attentive and friendly, particularly the lady with bright red hair - thank you.

I visited with two colleagues on an overnight trip to Nottingham and we all ordered tapas to share. We had to wait for around 25 mins for a table since it was busy on a Wednesday night, so worth booking. It was worth the wait, the food was all excellent, we all ordered tapas dishes and shared everything. Particular stand outs for me were the croquetas, pork pincho, the chicken and the gambas Pil Pil. The jamón serrano was also excellent quality. We had 10 dishes between us an without drinks it was just over £30 each including the tip. Great value for the quality. Really nicely done out restaurant too, great atmosphere and authentic tapas. Staff were great.

My son graduated yesterday and we came here for an evening meal. The food was absolutely amazing. The meat and cheese platters, flat breads, croquettes to name a few were all delicious. The staff were great, friendly and so hard working and the Estrella perfect. We will definitely be coming back.

We love coming here so much! Chosen this time as a treat to try the new menu and it didn't disappoint! Stand out dishes were the.... sea bass ceviche and the prawn & octopus fideua - both were outstanding, so fresh and delicious. This is always our go to venue with friends and family - service is outstanding, quick, great wine menu to compliment the dishes and we are never disappointed. Food is always better shared and when we can fill the table with dishes & open a great bottle of wine we are always at our happiest!
