Lovely staff and good drinks. Would recommend:)

The brown sugar milk is delicious. The braised pork rice and salty crispy chicken are very authentic.

Really bad customer service. I was waiting for 15 mins for a drink and they just don't care and aren't interested in serving.

A little gem that serves delicious and authentic Taiwanese street food. My kids, hubby and I enjoyed it. We lived in Asia for 10 years and went to Taiwan a few times. The food at Bao Bao is amazing. The staff is also super friendly. Also very kids friendly.

This place is always perfect, the food is lovingly prepared and always tastes amazing no matter what you order. It's better than some of the food I've had in Taiwan.

Currently waiting over half an hour for 3 bao buns. Had to go ask and they hadn't started it. Too many orders they said. On a wednesday lunch time. Won't be trying again.

Seats are a little uncomfortable, but wonderful food.

Very delicious bao buns and excellent service.

The chicken bao was soggy and the sweet potato fries smelt like churros and tasted like a pudding - not pleasant. The takoyaki was good as was the calamari. Disappointed.

I've eaten in here a few times, the bao buns are huge and better than a lot of the bao places you can find across Central London

No tap water served - they did not ask. Miso soup is horribly salty!!! Salad is bit salty. Rice is very good.

I had the Taiwanese Spiced Chicken with Rice and it was amazing, one of the best you can get in London. The bubble tea was really good as well. The waiter was very friendly. The restaurant has a cozy and intimate atmosphere.

Honestly, the best bubble tea shop in Croydon. There's a wide selection of flavours for both milky and fruity bubble tea, aswell as an option to have your drink hot for colder days. Their drinks have the most flavour as other bubble tea shops tend to water their drinks down too much. I reccomend trying taro and grapefruit.

身為台灣人我不會說這是正宗的台灣味，尤其是餛飩湯麵的部分真的差太多了，但炸雞排很不錯，魯肉飯味道也可以但肉質偏柴，整體而言不錯。

This restaurant, although it claims to serve Taiwanese cuisine, the items inside are completely different from authentic Taiwanese dishes, both in appearance and taste. If you've ever tried Taiwanese cuisine before, don't have too high expectations.

Authentic Taiwan cuisine at Boxpark Croydon, just right opposite East Croydon train station, very convenient. Food and service are great - ordered fried chicken and it was nice.

First time I tried a bao bun and it definitely won't be the last! The prawn one was unusual and delicious. Lamb one was equally tasty. I had the impression that good quality ingredients were used.

The food are amazing! Authentic taiwanese food. Recommend the beef noodle soup.

Tried this place after reading the reviews, was not too impressed with the food as it did not taste authentic to me. Ordered wonton noodles with came with four dumplings only. It was white stick noodles which was way over cooked stuck in clumps which ended up super soft and slushy. One of the worst noodles soups I have ever eaten. Taiwanese chicken looked nothing like the menu which came in chicken balls with no flavour. The sweet potato sticks taste terrible as it was coated in some kind of sugar which totally ruined the taste that I could not eat it and throw it away. I've eaten these before and never has it tasted so sugary and artificial. They also add in service charge but even that was only OK. I'm really confused about the good ratings it has. I would base it just under average. Based on the above, would not came back in again. It was not worth the money I have paid.

I enjoyed it here with some colleagues from work. The food is Taiwanese street food and it's the first time I've tried it, it's very nice. Staff are helpful and attentive, not the best decor but remember this is street food. I'll definitely return.
