The lovely young lady working here should be cloned and installed in every cafe/bar ... delightful. Good coffee, excellent bacon in a large soft bun, nice clean surroundings, very reasonably priced. Just the place to spend time waiting for the train. Highly recommended

Didnt really want to give this any stars. Bought a groupon. This was the worst afternoon tea I've ever had & I've had lots using groupon. The quality was very poor. The food was cheap. We had 25 minutes before the waitress told us they were closing when id asked they said they'd stay open if customers were there. Photos on their Facebook page showed totally different afternoon teas . They look lovely but what we got. The scones were the size of a £2 coin. They're was a piece of quiche which we thought was pizza it was that thin. I have messaged them but had no reply. I was giving them a chance to explain before I wrote a review.... they ignore my message asking for an explanation & blocked me !!!! Lovely customer service. The manager should be ashamed of themselves

Terrible experience here today. 1 hour 20 minutes wait for food (3 lunch meals) - jacket potato came out cold and undercooked, so we asked for this to be warmed. 5 minutes later they brought it back out and had clearly just microwaved it (hot but still hard). 1 meal did not arrive, and when asked was told it would be out in a few minutes.. 15 minutes later still no sign, to then be told they had only just started cooking it and would be a further 10 minutes until ready. I asked to speak to the manager as we were very disappointed by today’s visit - manager spoke through another colleague and not directly to me. She refused any kind of discount and failed to give a sincere apology and merely offered to take off the price of the meal we did not even receive. They still tried to charge us for the extra sides ordered with the meal which also never turned up. I have been a regular customer here and was quite shocked at how today’s visit went - it has definitely changed that - quite frankly I found the manager to be rude with poor people skills, and the food wasn’t even average at best. No complaints about the serving staff who were friendly and understanding.

1st time in here my wife booked it for our anniversary afternoon tea sandwiches where fresh and very tasty bun cake and scone all freshly baked and delicious will definitely visit again

Had a evening meal with hubby and friends got a Groupon deal on steak meals. Had appetiser too food was fantastic good range of cocktails too young lady serving karla was lovely very friendly and attentive would recommend

Lovely breakfast. Husband had eggs florentine & he hasn't shut up about it since. Staff are all friendly & helpful. Would love to go to one of their drag events but with a new baby I don't get the luxury 🤣.

very unhappy with my order ..for the price I paid ..I did not expect overcooked , ....well ...cremated ...steak , lamb , and pork ruined the whole thing .. everything else was Ok and edible but again for price u charge I would expect it to be delicious ... the chips were soggy .. everything was cold and I mean everything ..i won't be ordering again

Went for afternoon tea was very disappointed no choice of sandwiches and when we asked if we could change cheese for something else as we mentioned both of us can't eat cheese we were told that they would just take them off!! Wasn't busy but had to go to counter to ask for more drinks no one came to ask if everything was ok or offer further drinks. Won't go again have heard good reports but we certainly didn't experience this. 😔

Ordered Sunday lunch and when they arrived there was barely any food in it. Paid £20 for two meals plus £3 odd for delivery and service charges and the portions weren’t even big enough for a child! Can’t believe how stingy this place is. Tried phoning the place twice but no answer, so decided to leave a review here. Feel completely ripped off and so disappointed. Expected broccoli, cauliflower, etc. Got a spoonful of peas, 3 soggy sprouts, a few tinned carrots, spoonful of mash and two pieces of chewy meat and a small Yorkshire pudding. First time ordering and will be definitely be the last.

It was a really great place to eat and staff very pleasant. I shall be returning often.

The food here isn't an issue here, actually it's quite ok,however I'm am a little put off by the staff standing in the door way smoking all the time ,this leaves the smell lingering in the door way and entering the building , may I recommend you could designate a smoking area instead of the door way .

Excellent steak meal which we all enjoyed. However the Eaton mess that we had was not that. It was just chopped strawberries, cream with a little meringue.

An absolutely fantastic place. The quality is second to none. But the thing that I loved the most was the customer service. We walked in, soaked from a torrential downpour they, immediately handed us towels so we could dry ourselves and mum off. They offered us help getting mum comfy as shes in a large wheel chair. We didn't feel rushed. A lovely relaxed atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble. A cracking little place. Brilliant staff.

Visited at lunchtime for first time today, lovely welcome on arrival. Tables spaced out so all covid safe. All the staff were extremely pleasant & attentive. Food was very well presented & very tasty. Prices very reasonable. I will be visiting again, already recommended. Keep up the excellent work.

Possibly the best thing in Swinton! An amazingly sophisticated cafe for the location. We only popped in for breakfast but could easily have sampled the cakes (mango and coconut cake looked amazing!) Great service, clean and in a great state of upkeep. Bananas on toast with peanut butter, raspberries and strawberries 💜

Over the last 4 weeks I’ve been to Bank around 3/4 times with family and friends- I was pleasantly surprised how great it is now under new management. The booking system is great, staff very friendly and accommodating. I’ve had just drinks, food and a breakfast afternoon tea- all the food and drinks has been lovely, fresh, well presented and all very clean. The staff are always helpful when bringing in my pram and I found it very BF friendly. An absolute gem, it feels like this bistro could be in a city not a small village. Great selection of food, drinks and alcohol. I will now be visiting regularly and would recommend it to anyone for a visit.

Visited today for the first time. From the minute you stepped in the door (wearing our masks, already used the app to scan qr code) we were greeted in a warm and friendly way. Beautiful decor throughout. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Food is all home cooked and delicious with a varied menu and the only thing I can say to the cakes and scones is WOW. Such a wonderful place to meet up with family and friends, have already booked to go back again next week. Highly recommend this fantastic place to anyone.

First visit since reopening. Really liked the revamp. Very attentive staff and good social distancing measures in place. Food was lovely and good value and lots of very tempting looking cakes too. Also liked the products by other local business on sale. Will definitely be back.

Had the afternoon tea special for £11 which was superb. Thick fresh cut sandwiches of our pre arranged choice, with salad garnish and sausage rolls. A piece of Victoria sponge and scones with jam and cream and endless supply of tea or coffee. Really nice, very clean and tidy with friendly staff, well worth a visit.

Had a quick coffee stop here today and was not disappointed. Coffee is fantastic quality and my daughter thought the blondies were to die for. Great value for money and very welcoming staff. The shop local counter has lots of variety and we absolutely love the Yorkshire Popcorn we purchased.

I came for the family and friends day today and although I am biased this is defiantly worth it. What an amazing start to a new business venture!! The food was incredible and there was an awesome selection along with incredible cakes and cheesecakes on offer. The cafe has had the most amazing facelift and I would recommend this to everyone. You will not be disappointed!

I'm not going to lie, this is my older sisters café and my eldest sister works there alongside my sisters friend, this is basically a family run café, but I can be honest when I say the food is delicious and it has a wonderful atmosphere, yes it can be busy however they all work as hard as they can to improve and serve. The play area will be getting cleaned up and having some new toys placed there. Please try it out, thank you xx

Had a bigger breakfast this morning, well it beat me, it was an excellent breakfast, all piping hot and well worth the price, and to top it off it was a great cup of tea.

First visit. Filter coffee and cheescake £4. Good value. Odd set up...layout. Lower and upper seating. Soft play area at the back in an odd place. Ditch it. Looks odd and boring. The whole place had a strange atmosphere to me. Maybe it was me but not great vibes. Prices good and convenient on main bus route. Don't think Ill return. Also no sugar offered when drink brought. No condiments on tables either. Think the place needs rearranging and making more homely.

My Daughter recommended this cafe to me to take my Grandson too when I was looking after him for the day. Its very reasonably priced, good food, friendly, young children really well catered for. My only criticism is the playarea. It is such a fantastic idea to have a soft play area in a cafe but the toys seemed very old,with some lost and broken bits. Also seemed quite dirty and could do with a good clean. Replace some toys, brighten it up with a good clean, lick of paint and it would be fab.

Went here today for lunch, food was lovely, reasonably priced, service was bad on one hand due to only one girl being in but on the other hand she was really lovely and worked her best to not let this inconvenience us.

Decided to try this place for a change but not a good experience.First thing I ordered not available.Second order, waitress came back twice to check they'd got the order right.Then after 40 minutes came back again and said it wasn't available as someone has forgotten to go shopping.Then water started to come out of the light fixture.Then we left, but they still charged for the drink I bought.Place was full of screaming kids as well.Needless to say not coming again.

A clean friendly cafe. Child friendly having a child area with various activities for entertaining children. We ordered fried breakfast. It was fresh very tasty all the items we ate were good quality really enjoyed it. Defo recommend a visit.

This former bank has been transformed into a great cafe. There is a great selection of food on offer and the atmosphere is great. There is a small area for little kids to play which is a nice touch.The staff are very helpful and very friendly.Great place to enjoy a break.

Gorgeous little coffee house. Every single member of staff makes you feel so welcome. Everything seems to be cooked from fresh and is always delicious. Ive eaten there at breakfast and lunch as well as special events (afternoon tea, meet and greet with sant and a private function) and ive never had a single complaint. I always recommend this place and shall continue to do so.... service with a smile! Also i have to say the homemade cheesecakes and cakes are out of this world 😍

This is the first time that me and my wife have been here and I have to say the bank burger is the best burger I've ever had tasted amazing.

Came here with my friend for a spot of lunch, she’d recommended it as she’d been here before but I didn’t know what to expect. I was very impressed, I ordered a Cajun chicken wrap and asked for no mushrooms or onions (I can’t remember which) and was told it was absolutely fine as it was all cooked fresh. I’ve been to some places before and the veg is already mixed together so isn’t possible to do. Thoroughly enjoyed it and was a good price too. After we ordered cake and coffee (well I had a triple chocolate cookie and a cup of tea) very good value for money and would definitely recommend. We’ll be back for sure

From moving jobs to Swinton I regularly get my lunch from here( it's nearly a year now) All the staff are really friendly. I eat mostly a take out but have also eaten inside too. I love how clean it is & the fact you can see to the open kitchen & watch the staff propear you're food. I don't eat meat & I enjoy eating here as there are many options I can choose from, with all this & the most friendly staff I enjoy my lunch regular weekly. Thankyou so much to the staff

I have visited a few times for breakfast and it's always been lovely and its not expensive either which is a bonus. Nothing is too much trouble. Definitely worth a visit

My daughter and I enjoyed a delightful meal here. The service was great and the food was beautiful, it can get busy at times as to be expected by a well run business. However I wouldn't like to think I was dining with a baby as the highchairs could have done with a clean. Overall would go again and would recommend the food to anyone.
