Really good meal - quick, fresh and tasty curries, rices and naan breads. They had bollywood movies on in the background, which was fun to watch! Good prices, too. There's nothing bad to say at all, I highly recommend it!

Food here was really really tasty, from starters to mains to sides all made for a good meal. Service was a little off and slow. And they missed out a friend's starter which meant she had to wait while others ate. Also alot of confusion with our naan breads for the mains where we had to ask 2/3 times for our naans . Great spacious restaurant with a lovely decor. Shame about the service as this place would warrant top marks but would definitely come again and recommend as what happened with our service may have been a one off but I would love to come back and upgrade my score.

Been there several times for meals, very rarely kept waiting for a table longer than 5 minutes. Friendly staff, food is always good. I've tried a lot of the menu and can't fault any of the dishes. Good value, good food and good staff. What more do you want 😁

Went on Christmas Eve on a table of 14. Very busy but service was prompt. We all agreed the food was delicious, no complaints. It was my first time there, but I'll definitely be back!

Our party of 10 was well looked after with plenty of compliments about the food with a wide range of curry dishes and starters being ordered. This was on a Thursday night so quieter than the weekend. Overall good Indian food at reasonable prices.

What a great place to visit the food is great, they have an amazing offer on Sunday to Thursday and it's always been of high quality and very tasty food. The staff are helpful and friendly and can sometimes feel a little too keen to clean your plates away but otherwise are very lovely. The restaurant is simple in its decoration and gives a relaxed atmosphere that would benefit from some soft furnishings/decorations to bring the feel up to a sleek and refined feel.

We went to Bangla Spice Brasserie for a work's Christmas meal and it was delicious. Parking wasn't an issue despite the busy time of the year, and we were warmly greeted by the staff and offered drinks whilst we waited for everyone to arrive and our table to be set. The choice of food is good, not too many options that it becomes impossible to choose and each meal is given a description and the all important heat rating. Believe me, the hari mirchi is spicier than it sounds. The food was delicious and very well made. I thoroughly recommend Bangla Spice.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant I’ve been too, and it’s my local 🙌🏻 Jamal and the team always make us feel welcome and always serve us the best food, never had a bad meal and wouldn’t go anywhere else, great work guys !

Been here several times. People are nice. Here, you can have sweet Indian curry all the way to very spicy. Food quality is excellent! Parking space is limited by the way. About 10-12 cars car be parked without blocking each other and the garage entrance at the back.

Hey its OK but nothing special.. the Bollywood on the big screen made us rush our food and leave.. (maybe that's the plan) limited parking !

we come here for most birthday celebrations as it's the place everyone wants to go for the best curries around. specials during the week are great for price, the food is so tasty every time, never had a bad meal there. the staff are great and friendly, if you come here as often as we do as a whole wide family they really get the know their customers. starter, main and side for £11.95 I believe to be correct, who can complain at that and means don't have to wash up afterwards 😁 always a bonus

Time for a family get together so booked Bangla Spice as we are all curry enthusiasts. Booked a table for five of us on Sunday evening. On arrival a warm greeting from Jamal who showed us to a lovely round table. Drinks, pupadoms and pickles served while we browsed the Sunday menu (great choices for £11.95). Mixed kebab starters and meat samosas were a meal in themselves. Chicken Tikka and Lamb curries served with pilau rice, garlic nan, dahl and chips were all delicious. Attentive service & delicious food made our get together very enjoyable *** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ***

From the moment we stepped through the door the experienced staff gave us a friendly welcome! The special Sunday 3 coarse was fantastic value and the food was excellent, I would highly recommend my dish a flavoursome curry a chicken tikka mansoor! I went rice this week with different friends. Firstly, the welcome is very genuine and immediately friendly. The food is delicious, hot and served on warm plates,and reasonably priced. There is a cosy atmosphere which makes you want to return, as I do. I highly recommend you pay them a visit

What can I say. Awesome! A traditional Indian restaurant with absolutely fantastic food. I feel ill I've eaten that much but it would have been rude to waste it. Meat somasas stuffed full. Mains full if meat and not all sauce like some. Staff cannot be more friendly. Thought it looked too busy but this was people waiting for takeout: I took this as a good sign. We will definitely returning on quite a number of occasions. My new number 1 indian restaurant 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great meal deal in week £11.95 for 3 course. Good quality food

First time trying here tonight and we eat at hell of alot of Indians all over the county. So to start we had poppadoms and chutney tray. The first 2 poppadoms were a little stale but second 2 was fine. One of the nicest mint yogurts we've ever had. The mango was plentiful and super smooth. Then we had lamb chops (which are my fav) and chicken chat. Again was gorgeous. Then the mains chicken tikka massala and chicken naga special. Both amazing garlic nann and chips . Amazing all round will defo be back one of the best we had in our area in a while. Super value to which is always a plus. Great little find happy we tried it. Will recommend to all we know. Ordered a takeaway online from Bangla Spice, it was ready on time Mixed Kebab starter - 2 crisp onion bhajis, giant lamb kebab, 2 large chicken tikka pieces + mixed salad and yoghurt dressing. A meal in itself! Chicken Tikka Masala had large chunks of top quality breast cooked in the tandoor with a delicious sauce. Pilau Rice was fragrant, a generous portion. All enough for 2 more meals in the freezer. Total cost was less than £15 for a takeaway that provided 3 meals, so excellent value and attentive customer service from Jamal & staff. The new 'Madri' draught lager (rice & hops) was a lovely brew to go with it. *** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ***

I am making my way through the menu to find my favourite dish. So far it’s all of them. Bangla Spice has an extensive menu full of amazing tasting curries and sides, including specials on weekdays. The onion bhajis are the best I’ve ever tasted, I could eat them non stop😍the staff are so attentive, always chatting and smiling, they are a credit to the restaurant and can see why it is so busy every time we visit. Looking forward to visiting again tomorrow!😋

Great food and staff. The menu is extensive and the food is well made and authentic. The quality of produce (including the chicken) is very good. We have started using the restaurant more frequently over the last few months, not only for 'dining in' but also the 'take out' service as well. Overall very nice food and friendly helpful staff. Ample parking. Just 2 minutes from junction 28 on M6. Worth a visit.

Food was good very quiet place The manager gave me x2 free sambuca’s for my birthday which was good , the only downfall was the king prawn starter wasn’t marinated enough i still ate and enjoyed it just lacking the flavour slightly 👍👍

Even though I've lived local to this place for several years I'd never eaten there until a couple of weeks ago. Very impressed with the food at reasonable prices. I will be gping back again soon.

Visited for the first time and ended up going back a few weeks later. This place is good value for money and really tasty, especially the starters and naans. The mixed starter is particularly good especially as you can get it on the £11.95 deal. Samosas are some of the best we have had. The pickle tray is stunning and you get so much. The curries are the only slight let down for me, there is nothing wrong with them, they are very tasty, but they don't quite match up to the ones I get from another takeaway. I think that is probably more a reflection on how good that particular takeaway does curries though. You absolutely cannot complain about the price/quality of Bangla Spice, for one of our visits we didn't do the deal and still felt like we got great value for money.

My 1st visit and it was so except I'm takinga friend. At £ 11.95 for 3 dishes it is exceptional value for money. Food is delicious and plentiful. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend a visit

Family catch up with Uncle Cleve (ex Indian Army, 94) and cousin Elaine at Bangla Spice tonight. What a lovely meal. Great greeting from Jamal and staff, showed to our table & drinks served. Fresh pupadoms and pickles followed by meat samosas and onion bhajis with salad were an excellent starter. Chicken Tikka Rogan Josh, Lamb Tikka Pasanda with pilau rice, chips, tarka dal and paratha were all beautifully spiced and large portions. Attentive service, great cuisine & reasonable prices make this our favourite Indian restaurant. Well done Jamal, chef & staff. ***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ***

Called into Bangla Spice tonight and had a cooling Kingfisher lager followed by crispy onion bhajis with minted yoghurt and red sauce (hot!), delicious meat samosas in light, crisp pastry followed by chicken tikka mansoor (my favourite house special) with generous portions of sag aloo....

For many years (since the Bangla Spice opened) I have ordered their superb meat samosas, onion bhajis and a chicken curry (Dupiaza, Madras or Jalfrezi) with pilau rice and chips. Feeling adventurous I tried the chicken tikka mansoor (a chefs special) with keema pilau rice, what a delicious combination!The mansoor sauce is a hot, very rich sauce with a unique blend of spices that make it absolutely delicious. The fluffy keema pilau rice is spiced and mixed with the same minced lamb as they use in the meat samosas, lovely combined flavours,This is now my new favourite meal.*** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ***

Booked a table 8pm, for birthday celebration, arrived at 7:50pm, now I realise it's Eat out To Help Out, but c'mon! What is the point of booking a table? ,as for COVID measures, we couldn't get through the door for groups of folk crowding outside & inside the foyer, had a quick look inside the restaurant, it was packed out, folk squashed in, no spacing, standing round the bar, no sign of any staff managing any of it, so needless to say we turned round and came away and, unfortunately, while it's like this, won't be returning anytime soon!

Took advantage of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme and wasn’t disappointed. Service was fast throughout, and you weren’t rushed through just to make space for the next wave of diners. The food was excellent and the service friendly.There were all of the precautions taken inside the restaurant to keep people safe.Would definitely return in the near future.

There are two or three good Indian restaurants in and around Leyland, but the Bangla Spice has become my firm favourite for both table service and takeout meals.The food is always well prepared and is tasty. The service is always good and the staff are very friendly. We've even been here for our Christmas dinner for the last three years.

Me and my boyfriend come here all the time and we have never had a bad meal!! All the food is freshly made and the presentation is amazing. You really do pay for what you get! We both will definitely be returning

Lived round here a couple of years now, neighbours recommended giving it a go and we wasn't disappointed.Restaurant was spotless, so clean including the cutlery, restaurant bar areas (toilets also immaculate).Staff were lovely friendly and welcoming.Covid regs all met but most of all the food was amazing! So fresh, great portions and tasty!Can't believe we've not been here before, will definitely be regulars now! Great value.

Just been to Bangla Spice to order my takeaway (you can order online also) to see how they have adapted to dining in within the lockdown guidelines. I have to say I was very impressed with the attention to detail to make the dining experience as safe as possible. The restaurant has always been spacious but every table has been properly spaced apart, family groups are catered for with the correct spacing. The waiting area is not used so diners need to book a slot and be on time. The bar area has spacing feet and the correct signs are displayed throughout the restaurant (see photos). No wonder that such attention to detail has resulted in Bangla Spice being fully booked tonight!Now I just have to pickup my lovely starters (onion bhajis, meat samosas, pupadoms and pickles) and mains (Chicken Tikka Mansoor, Pilau, Chips, Sag Aloo).WELL DONE BANGLA SPICE!

Visiting as a lone traveller in the area on a quiet Monday evening I came across this place as it was close to the hotel I was staying at. Ordered 2 pappadoms and a chutney tray, followed by chicken mansoor and keema rice, no complaints here, enjoyed everything that was served up and washed it down with 2 pints of kingfisher. Definitely recommend to others that read this review and it was better than my local Indian restaurant which is some 200 miles away.

If you want an authentic fresh curry that's not from a jar, Bangla spice is not for you. Oily, bland food and the worst curry I've every had. The prawn curry didn't taste right and slightly off, VERY bland and no vegetables to be seen. Could of cooked something better myself.I got a jalfrezi balti which was supposed to be spicy and it was incredibly mild. Had to ask for extra chillies. Overall a dissapointing birthday meal, customer service was the only good thing. Never again!

We just popped in on the off chance we could get a table. The restaurant was busy but they fit us in no problems and made us feel welcome. We had a lovely 2 course meal with a few drinks and it came to around £30 for the two of us. The food was very tasty and we took some home with us. All in all, it was a great night. Highly recommended.

I decided to buy my parents a voucher for a meal here as a xmas present, really wish I'd gone somewhere else. On purchasing the voucher the member of staff serving me was really abrupt, stressed out and snatched the money out of my hand?! Embarrassing. My parents decided to use the voucher for a takeaway and ordered what they wanted but it didn't come to the value of the voucher but surely they'd get the change on Another right? Wrong, on picking it up they were told no change would be given and they inform customers of this , NO THEY BLOODY DIDN'T!! If I'd of been told I wouldn't of bought it as that's daylight robbery. The food didn't even live up to the standard either , podadoms burnt to a cinder , madras was extremely bland, not even a hint of a spice as madras is meant to be spicy. Sadly won't go again and reading the other terrible reviews on here I would rather burn my money than go within a mile of this place, it's any wonder its still open oh dear

Well a frind of ours called to say he was coming over from Bolton and "how about a curry" - great idea so I had a tghink where we might try fairly local to our Heapey home. Having had one previous visit to Bangla Spice we decided that would be our choice again if we could get a table. I rang and booked and we were not displesaed at all. The normal pappadom and chutney tray starters followed by three different but all excellent curries, two chicken and one lamb with plentiful rice and a lovely peshwar naan. The restaurant was busy with a few large parties but service was good, attentive yet not over attentive as can sometimes happen. Add to that I met a friend from best part of 35 years ago, also from, Bolton then but apparently now living locally to Bangla Spice who was popping in to pick up his takeaway order. Thank you, great night all round.We will certainly be back.

We made a last minute decision to pop out for a curry and we were very glad that we did. The food was simply delicious and the portions were generous. The service was excellent and the staff are very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Back to a favourite. Food, service and drink always good. All meals were good this time, only negative was the nicely flavoured vegetable curry was not served on a hot plate so got cold quickly. That aside another enjoyable meal.

It's two years since I last reviewed this excellent restaurant, how time flies.Called in whilst passing on the M6, it's so close, for a mid-afternoon meal.Quiet as we had missed lunchtime and avoided the evening rush, good to have time to chat with the friendly staff. The buffet was excellent with good choices and freshly prepared food.Excellent value.Have to stop myself from coming again next week. Happy new year.

After a bracing afternoon on Blackpool prom followed by a Pantomime, I asked my grandaughters what they would like for tea and they immediately said "curry at Bangla Spice please". I rang the restaurant and booked a round table for the five of us.What a lovely warm reception we got from the Manager, staff and even the chef came out to greet us (yes we are regulars!), drinks were swiftly served and our orders taken.Fresh pupadoms and pickles were quickly demolished followed by starters of lamb tikka, chicken tikka, onion bhajis and meat samosas (the best in Lancashire), all served with a crisp salad.Our main courses were all chicken tikka based, Massalla, Jalfrezi and a special house curry that our waiter Malik recommended over the Mansoor. These were served with saag aloo, fluffy pilau rice, chips and pashwari nan. When I commented to Malik that the special tikka was hotter than expected he dashed away and brought a bowl of chilled Indian yoghurt to tone down the sauce (a nice touch).All the dishes were cleared and everyone agreed that they were well satisfied.Our drinks were automatically replenished throughout the meal (another example of their highly attentive service). The meal and many drinks for 5 of us was £91, very reasonable. We left feeling very full and warm inside!*** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ***

A group of colleagues decided to try Bangla Spice for a change. It exceeded my expectations. The experience was first class. I had a mixed starter to begin, that was really tasty and well presented. I had the chicken monsoor. It was delicious and up there with the best curry I’ve had. Spicy with lime and perfectly balanced flavours. Can’t wait to go back. I loved it.

We have been a few times this month and really enjoyed it.The chicken tikka masala is so tasty and the king prawn masala is amazing huge king pawns. Service was brilliant by mallic who remembers our name each time we go which adds a nice personal touch.

I would not go anywhere else, if you fancy a curry this place will not disappoint. Jamal and all the team give the best service and cannot do enough for you. The food is always spot on and reasonably priced. If you haven’t been you’re missing out.

Visited here around the end of August. Had booked a table but there was no need to do so really as the place was quiet. Waiter came over and asked what drinks we would like. My partners asked to look at the wine list and I ordered a pint of cobra. We waited for over 20 minutes and no drink had come and no orders taken. I signalled another waiter over who eventually, after another delay brought a drink over. It tasted funny and I said it isn’t cobra. The waiter said “oh no, it’s kingfisher” oh well.

After a wet Monday afternoon walking around the Cuerden Valley Park with my daughter and grandaughters (12 & 10) we walked home to dry off. I asked the girls what they would like for tea - "CURRY" they both shouted so I booked a table at our favourite Bangla Spice.

Had a meal from here for the first time last night, collected takeaway. My food tasted bland and I only ate half the portion. Then I spent 6 hours throwing up and diarrhoea. I contacted the establishment, who read my message but ignored me. Extremely poor concern for a customer. If there was a zero rating I would of used this.

This is the only place to eat the best curry! Standards are always the same no matter how busy the staff are, they always have time to treat their customers ( new or returning ) with respect, making you feel valued as if you are one of their family members. The staff are pleasant,observant and patient allowing you as long as necessary to enjoy your meal experience, never once have we been given a time limit at our table.
