Amazing food and super quality service Best Thai food

I really enjoyed the food here. It’s not super authentic. But a green curry, rice and fish cakes I ordered were nicely cooked and well presented. They serve Thai beers and an ok range of wine. If your after super authentic Thai, this isn’t going to be the place. But it’s better than average and the eta were friendly.

Good is very nice. Hard to choose between the two Thai restaurants in Kendal. Just make sure you're not sat by the door, freezing cold all evening every time someone comes in or out.

Really great food! Fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff are very friendly too. I made a mistake and booked for the wrong day, despite being busy, they managed to fit us in and I am so pleased they did! Very, very recommended.

I have to say this restaurant is my favourite restaurant in the world. The food is amazing. The duck spring rolls as a starter are amazing and I had the roast duck curry and it didn’t disappoint. I come a few times a year when I come to Kendal and it’s always fantastic

Visited on a Wednesday evening. Ordered the set menu for two people. Starters arrived promptly and were absolutely delicious. Set menu included three different mains to share and were excellent. The red curry was easily the best I've ever tasted. Price wise on the higher side however more the worth it, would definitely return.

Wow! Unbelievable. Such amazing food, so tasteful, absolutely amazing. I ordered the salt & pepper squid for starter which was just fantastic, then the chilli duckie for main with sticky rice which was unbelievable. Best Thai I have ever tasted personally. I will recommend to anybody who listens!! It is a must try, you won't regret it, it's phenomenal!!

Went here for valentines night. What fantastic food and so much of it to. Lots of choice on menu and staff were great ! Definitely book here if you are in the Kendal area you will not be disappointed…. 😀

From the moment you enter this place the scene is set for your Thai experience. The clean oriental styled restaurant and friendly staff set your expectations high and it doesn’t disappoint. We sat upstairs (which is vast) and were dealt with by attentive and enthusiastic staff. The menu is extensive with curry’s, stir fries, noodles/rice and sizzling plate options. All dishes selected were cooked well and the portion sizes are good. Four people having starters, main courses and alcoholic drinks averaged £42 ppp. What you waiting for.

By far, the best Thai food we have eaten. The service was impeccable and the decor was impressive. We will definitely visit again when in the area.

Amazing food service and what a beautiful setting

We drove 2 hours to dine but when we arrived it was closed with a note at the door that will reopen February but in Google is set as open.

So so good, food, service & experience pretty much impeccable. Excellent place to eat. I would recommend the duck spring rolls.

First time dining at Bangkok 7 tonight and absolutely loved it. We had the set menu for 2 because it was exactly what we planned to order plus somehing extra. Everything was tasty and we left feeling well fed We will certainly be back!

Having visited a few times Bancock7 is our favourite and in our opinion the best restaraunt in Kendal. We ate there with friends last monday, it was their first experience and they were blown away with the ambience, service and the food, this really is a hidden gem and one of the few places that I get genuinley excited about 10/10, superb in every way

So glad we chose this restaurant to dine - absolutely fabulous all round. Everything was A1, decor, staff, service and wow - the food presentation was wonderful, as was the taste. Really hope to visit this restaurant again, soon.

I booked a table through dishcult for this restaurant and when we got there after having to wait 2 hours in Kendal for our table they said they had no reservation from me . I usually photographed every reservation but hadn’t done so this one time though it had been confirmed on the dishcukt site . I asked for their internet so I could check and they said they didn’t have internet !!! I am disabled and hobbled in on my walking sticks after parking my Mobilty scooter outside as there’s a step into the restaurant and it’s we found out that night it is not disability friendly . My partner wanted to go to this restaurant despite it having very little choices where vegan food is concerned . Once in the restaurant they said they could only fit us in at 8 when I’d booked the table for 6.30 . I will not be going there again . Places nowadays should be disability friendly also and therefore is being discriminatory towards disabled customers . Please do not book there anyone with a Mobilty issue . I am also extremely upset that they couldn’t find my reservation and seemed not to give a dam when I explained I had booked and it was difficult for me to get in their establishment in the first place . . Bad service all round .

We are always looking for that special "go too" place that is something special and Bancock7 is the place. We have been a few times now, with family and as a couple, it is amazing. The ambience, the food and service are 10/10 the absolute best. Cant recommend this place enough, a visit is a joyous occasion for me, I love it.

Quite authentic Thai foods. Panang curry & Green curry is very nice. They have wine & alcohol drinks. Nice place, nice atmosphere. Quite crowded even on Monday night, so if you come in big group, better reserve.

Lovely decor; relaxed and comfortable. From the minute I arrived here I knew this would be an especially great place. Service was really friendly and professional. But most of all, the food was delicious! Definitely one of the best Thai meals I've had. Maybe a tiny bit more expensive than some other places - but it's well worth it. Don't miss the chance to eat here if you're in Kendal.

Amazing food, really good price, great portions and amazing service

First visit to the Bangkok 7 and we weren't disappointed. We were quite early (4:30) so the restaurant was empty downstairs. Very friendly staff and the food is some of the best Thai food I've eaten. Prices are quite resonable too. Massaman Curry and Black Pepper Beef were excellent. Mixed Starter Platter was also very good. Will return soon.

Been twice before and for some reason I didn't have great memories of the last time, but I was persuaded to go again for my son's birthday. Good decision. We went upstairs, and were offered a table by the staff serving area in the middle of the walkway. This would have been a bit busy, so they let us have a nice place at the end. Huge chairs, but quite hard to get into as they are tight against the table. I had a hot coconut-ish soup to start with, just fabulous flavour, followed by a noodle dish. Huge portions (Jintana, please take note) and lovely presentation. Good stuff all round!

We arrived on a Saturday evening without a booking. Despite being very busy we were warmly welcomed, and after a little moving of furniture they fitted us in. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The menu selection was excellent, and easy to understand if you are unfamiliar with Thai food. We shared starters and had a combination of stir fry and sizzler main courses. All were excellent. A thoroughly good night.

Visited here a few days ago Excellent service but disappointing food ! There was a lot of floral vegetables taking over most of the plate for the starters and the main course. The food tasted bland and mass produced. I am afraid I won’t be returning.

Impressive ambiance but it is busy because of that so book! They're not afraid to feature the chilli so best ask about the heat before ordering. The presentation of the food is beautiful and that adds to the enjoyment.
