Baker's in Bolton

Overpriced food couldn't sit where we preferred as we're told it was reserved. No-one came all the time we were there and to be more comfortable would have been preferable.

First time visiting Bakers, and I rely was wowed when walking in!! 🤩. Have previously called in this place many years ago when it was a hand shop, least to stay, it's come a long way since then!!. The new owners have certainly put in a lot of work, creating a new modern and trendy place.!!! The layout and design rely dose compliment the building!!. We call in on the off chance whilst out on a walk around Egerton. The staff were more than happy to accommodate use, seating use in one the of the booth to the front building. The staff were brilliant!! Drink arrived fast, an as quick as we ordered our meals, food was arriving 😋... must admit we were spoilt for choice at first!! There is a great selection of dishes on offer.!!! We opted for the goats cheese 🧀 starter an also the halloumi, and both were seriously scrummy!!! Deffo one for those who like a cheese fix 🤤.. For main we had the Italian chicken gnocchi & also a burger an fries, both dishes were generous in portion an rely nice!! The burger was certainly a challenge, rap ya mouth round!! Massive 🍔😋.. Deffently be returning to try out some other dishes an would certainly recommend to family an friends. !!! 🤩🤩🤩

Fantastic atmosphere and food a little gem of a place

Myself & family booked a table for my birthday brunch today. The food was delicious, and the service was unmatched. A huge thanks to Jasmine and Kate for the exceptional service. Kate made the most beautiful hot chocolate, with a birthday candle & a happy birthday song! Both of you are a great asset to Baker's and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! A great way to end my birthday weekend! Will definitely be back! 🖤

Just been to Bakers for brunch- reservation at 10.30. Extremely busy but welcomed straight away and seated at our table. Service was excellent despite it being so busy. Food was outstanding- Breakfast Hash was amazing, eggs Benedict and eggs florentine were also delicious. Thanks until next time- we will definitely be back soon

Bad Review? You've either got an alteria motive or need a doctor. This place is frist class and above for service - never been in a place where I've had so many greetings fromm so many staff. Absolutely top notch and an exemplar that many establishments should seek to follow if they want to up their game. Breakfast was delicious and while I'm not a potatoe with breakfast fan what I got what I asked for and that was a food plate representative of the service. The ambience was stylish and relaxed , music wasnt too loud and its the service that stood out above and beyond, these girls have been trained well and it shows. Absolutely the reason for our return. Breakfast was a clean full english plate with the taste of locally sourced free range products.

Really enjoyed my first visit. We ate on one of the upper levels, on a weekday, surprisingly busy. Lovely food, good sized portion (fish & chips) which sadly, I couldn't quite finish! Great service and nice ambiance, so definitely a thumbs up from me!

Nice coffee and the food looked good but, as they are not dog friendly, we just had a coffee. The First Lady we spoke to was very abrupt when I enquired if they were dog friendly. We found a seat outside and I went back in and spoke to a lovely young lady who was very friendly and took our order. Do not think we would return.

Went for breakfast this morning and as always was not disappointed. My son had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup (one of his favourites) my husband just fancied an egg barm and I had the totally delicious Bakers avovardo on toast - mashed avacado on toast, a little chilli, 2 poached eggs and cheese - gorgeous. Chef Aydan and his team are skilled at producing great food consistantly and as usual lovely waiting on staff Ellen, Mia and Katie to name just a few. Fairly priced, pleasant atmosphere, great food and lovely staff, what more could you want? But be warned this place is, quite rightly a busy hub. Book a table to avoid disappointment.

Fantastic service and excellent, delicious food. Had brunch with a friend today and was warmly welcomed in by a lovely member of staff behind the bar, showing me to where my friend was. The food was delicious and the member of staff who served us at the table was brilliant, friendly and could not do enough for us. Well done Bakers, keep your staff and treat them well :-)

We visited Bakers, this was probably our 5th visit. We ordered BLT and all day breakfast We removed 3 items from an all day breakfast and added 1, we were charge extra for a single item on top of the normal breakfast price. The BLT was bland and the bread was borderline stale, I left most of it. Very disappointed with the service as the staff couldn't answer our questions as she didn't know the answer regarding the menu. We wasn't asked if everything was ok so we didn't give any feedback. Very disappointing.

Bakers had been previously recommended so first time visit for me and friend ,we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and welcoming , we sat outside as weather was warm ,really nice outside area . There was a good choice of food and beverages .I can recommend the sea bass with crushed potatoes and fresh greens , I’ve eaten in many places but never eaten sea bass as tasty and well cooked as this , 5star choice , my friend chose the falafel salad which looked amazing . We finished off with Bakewell cake and salted caramel cake , these came with cream compote of fruit beautifully presented . . We will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for good food in nice surroundings .

I often meet my friends here for breakfast or lunch for a catch up. My friend and I sat in the garden at weekend as it was beautiful weather. The food is constantly excellent. Never had a bad meal thanks to head chef Aydan and his team. Our every need was met by the lovely Mia and whether it is busy or not all the staff will stop for a quick chat making you feel welcome (including Katie who was on her lunch break!) We were reminiscing in the area where we got married 60 years ago and decided to go into Bakers for a bite and a brew. What a surprise! It is much bigger inside than you would imagine from the outside. We were very impressed with everything - the food was excellent, well cooked and presented, plenty to choose from on the menu. A great deal of thought and work has obviously gone into the layout and fittings. The staff are lovely. Nothing is too much trouble. We shall definitely go there again but may not wait another 60 years.

Visited this week for an evening meal. Found the restaurant beautifully furnished and presented. Warehouse style interior with exposed pipes and jam jar lights. Good choice on the menu. Service was quick. I did notice phone chargers built into the tables and although I would never have my phone out at a dinner table, I imagine they are handy.
