Baden's Butties in Wakefield

We pulled into a large parking area after seeing the signage at the side of the road.. The 2 staff were outside sat at a table enjoying the break between rushes.. The place was clean and tidy... Prices and menus were presented well and no hidden extras.. After ordering 2 full breakfasts we sat inside ( outside spaces are available) the food was cooked fresh so was piping hot when served.. The food was of high quality and good portion sizes... very reasonable price for the quality of the product unlike most other small businesses in local area .... The staff were friendly and talkative and willing to help with information and directions.. Was a good experience and would highly recommend to others .. will definitely go back when in the area.. THANK YOU...

Absolutely horrendous, genuinely the worst I've ever eaten. Had a nice sandwich a couple of days before then thought we'd bob in for a sit down breakfast as we were working in the cold, tried sweetening us with extra toast. All the toast in the world couldn't have pulled that one back

Great large breakfast and at a very reasonable price, Large breakfast for £5.50 with a cup of coffee. 2 of everything plus beans tomatoes and mushrooms. They cater for vegetarians as well. Very friendly chefs too that seem to know everyone that comes in.

Excellently cooked, value for money takeaway big breakfast. Brought out to my car because they were busy inside. Great service from the ladies.

Came up from Wales for work and the girls were lovely fair play, looked after us proper and the food is spot on and an absolute bargain for what it is.

We called in on Saturday for a 'small' breakfast and ate it on their freshly planted garden terrace and it was DELICIOUS so thank you for saving our bacon half way through a four hour drive and I wiped my plate clean with what was left of my buttered extra thick slice of toast !

Best breakfast in pontefract and you get plenty of it the £6 breakfast consists of 3 bacon 3 sausage 3 eggs Tom's mushrooms beans 2 hash browns 2 toast and a cup of tea or coffee.

whilst barden butties offers a fantastic and reasonably priced menu, the staff there were also really special and made the whole meal 100% better with their friendliness and attention to detail.

Big breakfast £4 with tea or coffee great

Finally a decent butty shop in ponte. Nice polite staff and lovely indoor and outdoor seating area with parking. Had a large best, large bacon and Tom and a large spam. And they are large. The bacon is very good quality my wife really enjoyed her bacon and Tom. The best was well constructed with a runny but not too runny egg. Only very slight negative was the spam was cut alittle on the thin side but will defo be back for a sit in breakfast and defo recommend specially as a good cause profits from it

When I first heard the local scout group was running a sandwich shop I thought I would give it a try. The place is amazing. The prices are very reasonable, the best in the area. The sandwiches we had were excellent, service perfect from guys who really want it to work! The outdoor seating area was outstanding. Spread the word this place deserves success and it looked to be doing well! One last thing we need Yorkshire tea, my only criticism. We will be back again and again. One word of warning the sandwiches are huge make sure your hungry!

We were staying up the road in the Premier Inn but their breakfast involves eating ina Brewers Fayre which are often terrible so we went looking for food elsewhere and found this place which we used twice. Unfailingly friendly staff and unbeatable value. A small breakfast which is big enough for most and includes a hot drink and toast costs an unbeatable £3!! The extra large is only £5. If you eat here your are also supporting a social enterprise as they are running the cafe in order to support their scout group. There are only a few tables and a few outside on warm days and its well worth finding.

New to area, it's only opened in April. Its it the car park of the Scout hut next to the Cobbler pub. Cannot recommend enough, best in town !!!!! Excellent value. Been 4 times, 3 take away sandwiches and once with family for a sit in breakfast after swimming. Every time it has been fabulous. Now a firm family favourite. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding. Nice thick bacon... not to salty. Top quality meaty sausages (best I've had from a cafe). Lovely soft fresh bread And they use proper HP & Heinz sauce. Really nice, friendly staff... very helpful. Lovely place, loads of parking, WiFi & toilets... what more could you want. Best of all, all profits go to help the Scout group.
