Brilliant service we ordered a small amount of food and the doner meat was cold but I phoned and spoke to them and they sent me a fresh one out within less than 15 minutes and the food was delicious

Ordered a mixed kebab and small chips via their app. Bit of a pain selecting sauce quantity. No option to pay by card , cash on collection. Tray of meat piping hot comes with 2 pittas, that's the letdown. If only itwas on a big fresh naan .hot chilli sauce is the standard one with the pips in , can get it at morrisons for about a quid. The chips were hot, crisp, not greasy and there was loads of em.

I asked for a cheese loaded pizza, and that's exactly what I got! The young man serving us was happy and friendly and food was quick and delicious! ...coming from someone who is quite fussy on pizza!

Really nice food. Staff are brilliant. I asked what was a Sar Beni that was on the menu. Was given a full explanation as to what this was and was given a complimentary one to try! Was absolutely amazing. Will be back this week thankyou

Always use this place when I indulge in a takeaway and the staff are friendly and the food has always been great.

First the driver forgot my pizza and tipped himself then I found a bone in my pizza I would rather starve then order from here

Over the last 6 months the food at Baba Ali had gone down hill . It used to be okish now it abysmal. Prices have gone up and portions have halved . Cold over cooked and I collected. Avoid unless you want an empty pocket and a bad taste in your mouth .

Omg any pizza and garlic bread with cheese are to die for. Nearly gizzed. Lol absolutely love all the staff... so polite and welcoming. Especially Lew, izzy n shuk.. love them .... and delivery If needed... what More could you ask for?? Maybe slight wait but for fresh tasty food... it's expected.... yes mate!!!!

Placed an order online. They used to deliver in the past but no longer deliver in the area so went to pick it up. The combination kebab increased £2 to £16. Made a mistake of not checking the order in the bag before leaving. Obviously they didn't check the order and was missing the All Salad and Pepsi we ordered. On their website it gives a number to call concerning your order if you're unhappy with it. I called because there's nothing worse than missing part of your order plus a kebab is not as good without all the salad. Just wanted to tell them so they're careful on other orders. I don't know why they put a number on their website to call if you're unhappy with your order because they didn't want to know at all. So if you order from this place, be sure to check your order to make sure its all there before you leave, don't assume they've got your order correct.

I love it. Good food at a very reasonable price and the people working are polite and friendly. Always great!

Excellent service and lovely pizza

A victim of its own success, great place great staff... avoid at busy times as its popular waiting times can be very long and food quality does suffer when rushed. None busy periods you would be hard pushed to find nicer food. They have an app too

Totally rank food not cooked half pizza cold might be cheap but honestly save your money especially if that sulli is there vile thing perv8ng on young girls ,go over the rd much better food👍

Placed order with them tonight at 7.30pm with an estimated delivery time of 1 hour... Order took 1 hour 35 minutes to arrive, So i left a bad review on their own website page. at 9.30pm i had an email to say my order was cancelled? The reason they have done this, Is so the bad review is removed automatically. We paid for the order in cash and accepted the food delivery. Probably illegal doing this? And definitely miss leading reviews page as they just remove any bad reviews.... Trading standards advertising standards have also been emailed.

To be fair the chicken/lamb kofte combo was pretty good! Fresh, lots of meat. Good selection /choices. Would definitely revisit if in Newtown again!

Food is great here. If you're after something a bit it greasy and naughty for the weekend, this is the place. They also deliver up to 15miles.

Recently had a order here from babas and the food was awful, chips were soggy and you could tell it was fresh, chicken kebab i asked for it well done and it was just cooked some parts were if you asked me uncooked!

Portions are huge way too much for one. Good quality.

Horrible food, staff rude, smelling weed , I tried to complain and they just put phone down swearing please don’t eat you will get food poisoning.

Ordered via their website where it states minimum order is £10 placed order for £10.60 and waited for my food half an hour later I get a phone call telling me the won't deliver my order unless I spend £15 con merchants now I have no food won't use again

The shop is open till late which was great as my travels meant I didn't get to Newtown till well past 11.00pm. The shop was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They serve the usual kebabs and pizza but also something called Sar Beni. OMG, I died and went to heaven. It's a nan bread covered with herbs, spices and minced lamb in a tomato sauce. On top of that you have kebab meat from any of the usual kebabs. Well worth a visit.

Very busy kebab house. Food is good and I've tried most. Portions are very large so you will need to be very hungry to go for the large option.

It’s our last night at Maesmawr Farm Resort and so we thought we would get a take away. We came across this one about a ten minute drive away. Probably the best take away I have had in a long time! I got the chicken kebab with mint sauce, salad and chips and my husband got donor and chicken kebab. My husbands meat, salad and pitta were all packed separate so we got loads. In the end I made a chicken gyros with his left over pitta. I now can’t move but this take away is really really good!! Would definitely recommend.

Excellent food and service, highly recommend

We spent over £40 on a takeaway for the family. I ordered large Chicken Bbq kebab...what I received was the meat in a polystyrene covered in yogurt and mint sauce, a polystyrene box of sad looking "salad" of lettuce and onion..no cucumber or tomatoes guys? And a tiny, blatantly from Lidl or otherwise, pitta bread that you couldn't fit a fart into. My partner had large chicken burger and chips which was just two burgers shoved in one bun, same sad salad. Chips were cold and limp. Took an hour and a half to arrive. My step sons pizza was mediocre and the crust sucked. Topping burned. Won't waste money here again.

mother in law was visiting from Birmingham,train was late and she was hungry. I had pizza + wife + mum in law had shish kebab..piping hot,freshly cooked and beautiful...Staff are always super friendly and in the past have even given me free items to try. would highly recommend as I have been going here for 5 years.
