We visited Aya Lebanese Cuisine in 4 different branches and to say the least we were delighted by how authentic the food tastes there. As a Lebanese, it is almost impossible to find something that tastes like home but at Aya, the food was on point! Their shish tawouk, warak enab, cheese rekakat, hummus, and fatoush were all absolute must-tries. Highly recommended.

We had been invited out for a Birthday party with friends, we had previously ordered take away from here, but were were amazed at the huge range of Beautiful food, we will be definitely be back very soon. Update, we have been back twice since the last review, always look after us, and food is amazing, we also bought a bottle of white and hot sauce from there own brand, try it out you will love it...

Have been here twice. Service is good l, the owner will provide more bread than you ever need 🤣 in a month probably. Starters are good but don t get super excited. Main wise I have ordered the Okra, the mixed grill and by far the best dish to be the lamb shank with rice and their own sauce. BYOB policy, always good to know in advance. On the less positive side, shame they only had one high chair in the whole restaurant which was broken.

Ben is not a good person, his behavior was rude, He doesn't treat the customer in good way and also food is very bad , chicken is uncooked and reddish 🤢🤮

We have just received a take away delivery from Aya and are disappointed with it having previously eaten in the restaurant and enjoyed it. Firstly the delivery was left on the doorstep, no one even rang the doorbell. Secondly the £55 menu (with several extras purchased on top) we had ordered was tiny in portion. Thirdly the tabbouleh was missing. Finally the food was pretty much cold. Sadly won’t be ordering again and because if the above could not recommend their takeaway which is a shame as the food is very tasty.

Chose this family favourite restaurant for a reunion with 7 school friends. The food was fantastic, prices always great, an abundance of fabulous tasty food. The waiter and waitress serving is were so kind, patient and friendly. Especially the 2 waiters (so sorry if I don't spell your names correctly, Muhammad and Isabel) - thank you! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aya Lebanese Cuisine and was blown away by the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were greeted by the friendly staff and immediately impressed by the charming decor. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with traditional Middle Eastern touches throughout the space. We started our meal with a variety of mezze plates, including hummus, baba ghanoush, and falafel. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The hummus was extremely tasty, while the baba ghanoush had a smoky, roasted sexy taste. The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a perfect balance of herbs and spices. For our main course, we ordered the lamb shawarma and the chicken Shish. The lamb was tender and succulent, with a perfect balance of spices. The chicken was perfectly grilled and served with a delicious chilly sauce. Both dishes were served with a generous portion of rice and vegetables, making for a satisfying and well-rounded meal. To finish off the meal, we indulged in the rich baklava for dessert. It was the perfect end to a perfect meal. Overall, my experience at Aya Lebanese Cuisine was outstanding. Lovely restaurant with delicious Lebanese food. Staff is friendly and you can bring in your own drinks/alcohol. The only criticism is that they could have been more generous with the salad and garnish served with the grill! Overall a very good restaurant.

Good quality food - very similar to Greek/Turkish cuisine. The restaurant has no licence so it is take your own drink (not made very clear on the website). Good choice of starters and main courses...we were not offered any menu for desserts so I do not know if they have any. Also need to note it is cash only!

We celebrated my mums birthday at Aya recently and it was such a special experience. The staff and management, were so kind and helpful and the service was brilliant. The food as always was delicious, I couldn’t pick a favourite! You simply need to try it all!! Will always go back ☺️

Delicious, good quality Lebanese food. The restaurant has good decor and is located conveniently next to South Wimbledon station. The juices are fresh and really enjoyed their fresh fruit cocktail juices. The food is reasonably priced. This is a great place for an evening dinner with friends and family.

Had a brilliant Xmas meal with 10 of us from tennis club. Food was delicious and service friendly and quick. They let you bring your own bottle, which makes it much cheaper. Very nice place.

Our go-to labenese in south london, never dissapoints. This family business has been around for decades and I remember eating from there fast food joint many years ago called Gourmet in colliers wood. If you’re looking for a wonderful meal with family look no further. A must have. Pile on the chilli and garlic sauces!!

Poor service, front gentleman used a bald short guy to ridicule Costumers if he not happy, very expensive , same grilled things you can get with more large portions with quit low price compared to their mixed grill. Food very band. Overall I’m not happy and advised my all friends to avoid

Have been to AYA a few times now and have never been disappointed. Their chilli and garlic sauces are the best! We told the manager how delicious they were and he gave us two bottles to take home - so generous 😌 such good value for money, especially as you can BYOB.

Although you can find plenty of Lebanese restaurants in London, nowhere will you appreciate the Cuisine as much as at Aya. Located in South Wimbledon, this restaurant is worth the detour! The personnel is very friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is as traditional as it can be. The decor as well as the smell and taste of the food will make you travel to the Middle East for the time of an evening. I highly recommend this place :)

Would not recommend in a heart beat. Upon entering Aya, myself and my friends felt like we were a nuisance and not welcome. We were sat at the back of the restaurant and I felt that we instantly disappeared. We had to wait for 10mins before anyone acknowledged us and gave us a menu. Manager was openly arguing with staff on the floor. When food was served it was shoved on the table with no explanation of what each thing was and placed abruptly in front of us. Food was Luke warm, hardly any flavour, chicken was dry and meat was tasteless. Our main issue was the service. No acknowledgement through the whole night, we had to ask multiple times for our bill. Waiting over 20mins and constantly reminding staff. Openly saw manager folding bread with his bare hands into baskets and putting this on people's tables, after wiping his hands on his trousers. I feel very sorry for the young lady who works in there and hope she gets out soon. I asked her if she could get us an update on the bill and the manager SHOUTED at her and told her to get back to her job!! When we did get the bill, chips were listed that we didn't even recieve and when asking for this to be removed we got a sarcastic comment of "well you should of told me".... Then when recieving the final bill we were told "I removed your drinks for you" and it was thrown on the table. We wanted to remove the service charge but felt if we did it would of caused an argument. Before we had even left they had added another table on to our line ready for the next customers. Will NOT be returning

Was told there would be veggie options but it was a bowl of chips then they wanted us to pay separate for a veggie dish that was served after the other guests mains had already been eaten. Then The owner or manager Ali was so rude and aggressive towards me she shouted at me after I told him the food was frozen still. Avoid at all costs

A word of warning - Shia personnel are very much unwanted in this establishment; but this I will say, the food is absolutely delightful, and by far one of the best in the Wimbledon area. If it wasn’t for the how I was left feeling, I would have awarded this restaurant 5*. - To charge me almost £65.00 per head is daylight robbery! C’est la vie.

Thank you Ben for a first-class service today for our party of four. You welcomed us like old friends and we had an amazing afternoon. We had the Aya set meal which was HUGE and unbelievably tasty: a big selection of hot and cold starters, salad, bread, dips, rice, a platter of grilled meats (mousakka for me), and baklava to finish!! Awesome. One of our party had never been to Aya before - she's pregnant - and this place blew her away as we told her it would. We even had enough to take food home - well that's lunch tomorrow sorted! Ohmygoodness and Aya's own chilli and garlic sauces are exceptional = I hope to see them on shelves soon. The fact that this amazing and beautifully decorated restaurant is also a BYOB (Bring your own booze) is brilliant in austere times such as these. This is the perfect venue for any group gathering or party - we've done so many times. We could not fault our meal or the service. Thank you so much to the whole team - great job. Trust us you will see us again very soon.

I've been to many lebaneese restaurants before, but nothing compares to Aya. Their food is delicious -especially their mega mixed grill! Also their service is very polite and helpful.

We 3 friends went to AYA today at 10 when the other restaurant we usually go to was closed for refurb. We spent £60 for only 2 people just to get insulted by the rudest lady on the counter. She was giving us stares all the time till we sat there refused to listen to our query saying “We are very tired”. She literally said you leave now when we only said we are not happy with the service. I would never go there ever in my life to see that horrible woman’s face we had kids with us and she was so ill mannered. There were other people complaining too but she didn’t bother to even look at the person speaking. Also making a huge some of money with only taking cash no cards. Edit: Called the manager today to speak about our experience he abused us and said don’t ever show your faces here again. Wow AYA surely is a mad house.

PLEASE AVOID GOING THERE. I am going to leave a very very genuine review. I visited aya for dinner last night with my friend and we went there with our kids around 22:30 and ordered the food, we were served really bad food tasted like it was made a few days ago. And the sauce had gone bad the serving plates were dirty as in had left over oil and food on them (both for me and my friend). Then I was given wrong order but didn’t mind as we and kids were veryy hungry when asked the lady about it she literally answered me “have you seen the time madam? It’s almost 11 pm and i am very tired” i was like just asking you because will there be any difference in price. Then we had the food somehow and I basically just fed the chips to my son because didn’t really trust the quality of food and left 60% on my plate as it was. Then when it came to paying I refused to pay the service charge as i was badly insulted and didn’t want to pay she made a fuss out of it as well and asked me to leave and never show my face there again like she own that place. They don’t accept cards and also doesn’t give you receipts for your payment because as per her because we were not paying the service charge she can’t give receipts to us. Before we went on the till to pay there was another lady complaining about something to her and she was superr rude and aggressive to her as well and then did the same to me when I asked can i have your name to complaint about my experience to your manager she refused and the manager had had the same aggressive and rude reaction when I called him to make a complaint basically all the staff is like that. If you’re tired you should firstly not let the customers in and shut your doors

As always, great service and great food. This is my local Lebanese and I visit often. It's got an amazing environment and the staff are all so friendly. Whether we want an evening out or a takeaway or we are taking relatives/friends out for a treat, Aya is our go to place for a guaranteed great meal and experience!!

We recently celebrated a family members 70th birthday at Aya and it was such a lovely experience. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and made us feel welcome. We were given a picturesque party space, with arabinan theme décor. Staff were extremely attentive and catered to all our needs and dietary requirements. The food was beautifully presented, delicious and there was so much variety to choose from. We left very stuffed and with big smiles on our faces. Thanks for having us Aya, I look forward to coming back soon :)

We booked the garden room at Aya for my dad in laws 70th party. The lovely family team at Aya made it such a brilliant event. They set up the room beautifully and allowed us to add our own balloons and banners, they were so attentive and helpful and nothing was too much trouble, they went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a set menu and it was so tasty, there was loads of food and all of it was really nicely cooked and spiced. Would really recommend Aya for a party or event, both back rooms are really pretty and beautifully decorated so are perfect for it, the service is fantastic and the food is amazing.

I absolutely loved being here...it was my first time gathering with family to celebrate the 70th birthday of my father in law... The food was absolutely gorgeous and delicioso... Customer service was terrific...they made us feel warm and comfortable....went above and beyond for us.. The space is well-managed to meet the needs of the clientèle Thank you ...thank you... If given the opportunity, I will come again... I highly recommend this place 👌 You guys should be proud of what you have been able to put together.... Thank you guys...and welldone...

They’re definitely under new management and would not recommend! Complained about the food that didn’t taste great and didn’t look appetising at all and not worth the hiked price! Manager shrugged and said “it’s business” and didn’t want to hear what we had to say. Clearly didn’t care nor think customers’ opinions matter. It hurt parting with a lot of money for meals we did not consume! Never going back!

Our family visited today, all of us had amazing food (including veggie and one of us being a fussy eater). Portions were great, flavour superb and service exceptional. We really enjoyed our time at Aya. We also got a free dessert which was so yummy! Thank you, we can’t wait to visit. Thank you for your hospitality and amazing food!!!

Must be under new management as the waiter didn't understand anything and took 20min to take the order. Broken chipped glass, dirty glass. Food was good but over priced for what it was and to top it of loads of flies hovering over the tables.

WOULD NOT RECOMEND. Food was horrible, lamb was raw chicken was so salty and the wings had no flavour to them. the staff didn't care about us, we asked them to seat us in the back they said it was closed and then when the next group came in they let them straight through to the back. the price was astonishing as well, never have I seen such overpriced food for such low quality.

Visited Aya Wimbledon last night, and was unfortunately let down by the service. There was a slight misunderstanding when ordering the mixed grills so we ended up ordering more food to compensate. The front of house gentleman, didn’t seem to be very understanding of this and came across as quite rude and aggressive. The portion size for the Aya mixed grill is probably ideal for 1 person, which was not as we assumed taking the £19.95 price in to consideration. There is also a 10% service charge added on to the bill, which isn’t really made clear beforehand. When asked to be waived as we weren’t happy with the service, the front of house gentleman rudely asked us to not visit again and looked at a waiter next to him and said “remember these people for next time”. We definitely will not be visiting again as the attitude was quite hostile and unwelcoming. The food was actually decent and was served promptly, so it is rather disappointing that the service let our experience down.

Went to Aya with our Family. Food wasn’t Arrived to table on time and we had ask multiple times to clear the plates and top up the sauce. The Owner was really Rude heard him shouting at staff and very Intimidating character. Charging for Service when then there is no Service Offered. My Aunty visited from abroad and she has to witness this horrible Hostile Service.

Such a wonderful restaurant, we had our wedding reception at Aya. Excellent service from all staff members and excellent food. Everything was perfect, I highly recommend this restaurant.

At first the decor looked nice and the reviews looked promising until we realised me and my wife were the only two in the restaurant which seemed weird considering it was a Monday evening but we continued to order our food suspecting nothing, until we heard beeping noises from the microwave which insisted they warmed our food considering they only had to cater to TWO people in the restaurant yet we still didn’t receive fresh food, the customer service wasn’t good either as there was an attitude lingering in the air whilst being pressured to order our mains when we just ordered our starters. As we finished our food I kindly asked for a cup of water and the bill to be greeted with a cup full of stains and the taste of dirty dish water and oil, with orange stains all over the rim of the cup which physically made us feel sick I mean TWO PEOPLE in a WHOLE restaurant and you can’t wash a cup of water?! I mean WOW says it all when the restaurant is empty. So I asked the person who seemed as he was in charge as he ordered his staff and cut them off to explain the pricing to us, I told him about the stains he then ordered another staff to bring a different cup but at this point we just wanted to leave instantly. The worst experience for a restaurant EVER 0 stars if it was up to me!!

We live round the corner from the South Wimbledon restaurant. We’ve always enjoyed the food both eating in and takeaway but recently they’ve really upped their game. Our last order was DELICIOUS. The recipes taste better and look better. Really impressed.

The front man, probably the owner or manager is noy fit for the job. The service and his way pf treating customer is not professional. It was not only me and my other three friends but can't help it to see how badly he treated a poor delivery rider. Hope the management will take measures unless it is for sure they lost at least one group from their customer.

We are regular customers but our recent visit was disappointing…food was as good as ever but restaurant was very cold, we asked for heating to be turned up which didn’t happen. 2 waiters were serving 3 tables but service was awful. Ben was not on duty unfortunately as he is very attentive and efficient. One waiter spent most of his time scrolling through his phone. No olives, bread or sauces provided on arrival. Had to ask for glasses and water twice, no chiller for wine, no bread provided with starters, had to ask for garlic and chilli sauce. We were not asked if the meal was ok or if we needed anything else, the waiters were not interested and we felt as though we were a nuisance. To be fair this is very unusual and hopefully a one off and new staff without the expert guidance of Ben.

Ali's Lebanese restaurants in SW London provide the most authentic Lebanese cuisine. I would recommend to all friends and family.

Just decided for an easy saturday dinner- Aya is very good. Had humus then mixed grill which was spicy and all ingredients freshly cooked ( I can tell reheated food at a glance ) staff were friendly and attentive in spite of being busy .
