Awesome Chips in Haringey

The best chips I’ve ever had it filled me up so much my order was small original chips with ketchup it just tasted so good you should go there 😁

Unfortunately, it was very bad today. You can't feed it to people. Please bring back the old taste. good luck

I bought 2 portions of small chips for my kids well over priced charged extortionately for them as is. Asked for a takeaway box because kids were not eating and told to pay 50p for each box. The fries were dry mcdonalds 99p pack are better and standard chips were just too soggy. I wont recommend them.

Fries are always fresh, can’t say anything bad

Slow service, constant upselling what is an already massively overpriced product, wouldn’t go back. Don’t waste your money, go literally anywhere else on the high street and pay a quarter of the price for triple the product.

6 hours after eating the chips all I can taste is vegetable oil ,, what ever seasoning they rolled chips in was tasteless and mango chilli sauce was like water and tasteless .. basically not worth the money and no salt and vinegar available to try to make chips tasty

Ten pen chips are sold for four pounds too expensive 👎

They barely change their gloves, so if you watch them while working they wash the bowls and they take the orders and then prepare the orders all with the same pair of gloves. Don't recommend

today’s experience was awful. Staff was reluctant to serve and I come away with chips with barely any seasoning. I asked for some sauce when my chips looked plain and was told it was extra. Waste of money. They need new management and staff.

I went there ordered twister and 4 french fries in the menu it said 3.75 for twister they charged me more i dident realise also i was ordering the cashier wont listen to me and take some one else is order and also the twister wasn’t inside the bag

Very expensive place for just chips. Had 4 portions chips and pretty much all came out same as half cooked potatoes. How hard is it to cook potatoes. Small portion comes to £4.50 with sauce added up, yes nothing is free, you get charged for everything as extra.

Nothing Dutch about it at all… Soft sloppy chips. Sauces too much (which makes the chips even more soggy) … Not exciting

Terrible customer service where customers are called liars. I have just been and ordered a small chips with burger sauce and 2 powders. The guy misheard and wrote bbq sauce instead of burger sauce on paper cone. When the woman was preparing it I stopped her as soon as she put in BBQ as I know that’s not burger sauce. I’m allergic to the acidity in bbq sauce so I cannot have it at all. The woman spoke to cashier who then started talking loads of rubbish and saying intimidating things like “I’m not old I can hear what you told me there’s camera we are recording you” I’m 5 foot 3 by the way. The shop is on high road with loads of traffic and he didn’t think for one second perhaps he may have misheard. He wanted me to pay for another portion of small chips but I refused to pay and left without being given the food I paid for. I will not have the bbq sauce because I cannot have it for health reasons. I did not dare ask for my money back he cashier was so aggressive.Any shop serving food would have changed it even Mac Donald’s . Such low standards and thieves. I left a google review and will report to Consumer Rights under section 49. Can management please contact me to discuss this it’s not a way to speak to loyal customers. This is the UK and there’s laws here how you speak to peoples as well laws protecting customers.

This is should be called Awful Chips.The staff at Woodgreen were incredibly rude and unpleasant to my 10 year old son.He said he never wants to go back.

Really good chips but from here but extremely pricey plus sauces are now 75p each!! I asked for medium fries and ketchup and Mayo and £3.99 became £5.49! Sadly can’t recommend at this price and marked down 1 star due to this. The local chippies and kebab houses are much better value.

The staff are INCREDIBLY rude. They have no customer services at all! No apologies for delays, nor for the awful quality of the food. They give you defective boxes then attempt to charge you for a replacement when they fall apart. They're called "Awesome Chips" rather ironically

I didn't like it . Too expensive , it simple chips and she mixed it with ketchup and mayonnaise in one mass. So, it was not tasty

I think this place might be slightly overrated as we paid nearly £5 for a portion of chips with some chilli sauce!!! It's usually very busy, so perhaps I should try a different topping next time!

Scammers, B careful. They charge for box when order for cone size chips. Recheck your bill on the time of order... Chips are nice though... Buy person on the till is cheater.

Bad customer service, extremely rude staff and the casher wasn't helpful at all. My friend paid for extra cheese sauce and they put mayo on the top. The chips was horrible and went to the bin so my friend paid £ 22 for 2 soft drinks. Never again

Having had chips from here many times before and always been happy we decided to get our usual chips and burger sauce, on this occasion it was very spicy and my child was unable to eat them. The lady in charge was not helpful at all or sorry not even an attempt to rectify the problem so on this occasion customer service really let them down

Chips remained warm very well in box for quite some time, and better value for money than expected. Chips do go soggy however, after short time.

So excited to try the vegan chick'n burger but it's just a boring bean burger that tastes wet, like it's been frozen for months. Don't know why they call it chick'n. Chips are fine but they are just bog-standard chips.

I love their chips and I have had them on several occasions. Every topping, sauce and flavours you can imagine. They are always cooked fresh and piping hot.

Omg these chips were simply delicious. My sister and I shared a box. We ate them in the car and the windows steamed up. Crispy outside, soft and scrumptious inside. Love it!

The chips here are AMAZING! People in UK love chips with salt and vinegar, it's a thing. We know it. Well..this is the upgrade you have been waiting for, the evolution of a British Classic! There are SO many choices of toppings to choose from, I can't even get myself to list them all! I chose a mix of cheddar cheese and garlic alioli sauce. What I loved is how involved you are in the process of creating your chips flavours. The guys were asking me how much I wanted to put of the toppings, not having a 'set' quantity like some take-away places. Highly recommend it! Really AWESOME Chips!

The Crue who worked last night on 03.11.2021 except the girl are the worst ever, i really liked those chips but not with those who was on the last shift last night. They are absolutely terrible, they don't know what they doing, they are like chicken without head. If the work for a while i think they gone have big problem and they gone lose to many customers

very unique concept, excellent variety of sauces, curries, dips and spices to make the chips more flavourful. i commute all the way from Ilford for these chips once in a while. One hopes that they can have more branches and atleast 1 in Ilford.

Disgusting, soggy and greasy, tasteless chips. I don’t understand what had happened, if the potatoes or the staff, which by the way seems lost in there. It’s a shame as it used to be so good. I hope they are getting back to normal soon.

Really good place, not so crowded either. Great place for a takeaway. Nice, great and wide variety of chips with great sauces and great varieties of shakes. We really enjoyed it and great service. Really recommend this place for a quick take aways and for a quick bite.

Pathetic fries. I ordered pizza fries, they put it in the oven but the cheese wasn't melted at all and they gave it to me like this

THE best chips I’ve ever had. They do the most delicious chips you will get anywhere and the choice of sauces are just incredible. The chips itself are really succulent and made using good quality potatoes. The only negative is the price of soft drinks, they’re a bit expensive but other than that I highly recommend this place to everyone. If you’re a lover of chips than you HAVE to try them out.

Underated place. very tasty chips

I might even be converted to plant based hot dogs as the one I ordered tasted the same as the meat based version. Food was hot and plenty of it. There was a small queue but it's goes fast so I didn't wait for long time to be served. Also this place looks clean inside and outside. Thank you for good customer service.

Best chips ever. I recommend getting a small box of fries with lots of mayonnaise, piri piri seasoning, salt, pepper and chilli powder. Don’t get more than one sauce and dont get any sauce if you get cheese because it makes the chips soggy. Use cayanne pepper or chipotle sauce if you dont want to use chilli powder. Amazing place with quick service and nice staff. Just wish they had seating!

Chips were good but bought a veggie burger unfortunately was disgusting and it was all dough in a burger no beans or anything and later made me feel sick they should just stick to chips only don't buy anything else

Loving the chips and sauce combo..

Customer service is appalling. Cashier was rude, impatient and rushing us to complete our order. They have an impractical menu that cannot be read as the screen slide is on loop every 2 seconds. In addition, the font size of the menu is quite small thus unreadable. They have no menu cards which means you cannot prepare your order in advance before it reaches your turn. Wasted £17 for two dry chips!! I will definitely not visit again, very disappointed.

Terrible customer service. No choice. Very expensive for less than a handful of chips and to top it off, they were cold. Not happy. Better to go else where.

Many many toppings to choose from and perfect place to pick up a snack. Will be going again for sure but make sure to eat them when they are hot.

Chips were lovely and hot. Service was good. I found the portion was small.Sauce per request wasn't enough and cost of the sauce is more compare to the chips price.

It's delicious, I can add whatever I want, they have a menu with different kind of potato such a chips waffles and other, also they offer you some many different sauces. I LOVE IT

Yesterday I went to get some chips with my friend and when I wanted to order this lady with a hijab who seemed to be Indian was very rude, this is the second time this has happened to me with her. The first time I was with my mother but we let it be because we thought she was just in a bad mood but yesterday I just couldn’t deal with her attitude so I left she kept telling me to wait and when I asked about the sauces she would tell me to open my eyes and look at the menu, if she’s not there to help then she might as well go home. She gave me the worse customer service. I love awesome chips but I’m not going there ever again for how the staff treat you.

They clean that place once in a month i think,is very dirty

No covid measures or glove swapping/cleaning, used to go there, but can't risk it during a pandemic, really disappointed, I'd like to go if the staff just took the basic measures, or even just wore their masks properly, rather than placing them under their noses or chins.

Probably killing people, No covid measures, they wear masks on their chins or well placed under their noses to help the spread, used to go here, but got turned off when I noticed the person serving food coughing while their mouth was was uncovered. Food is good, staff are probably killing people

The most tastiest chips! Have such a broad choice of sauces and powders definitely recommend. Chipotle is amazing

A little pricey for essentially a potato with egg juice on top but delicious nonetheless. The price falls to the wayside once you smell the chips wafting over the counter.

I had the smallest chips. For one person it was generous. Because it was served hot fresh, the waiting time was up to 10 minutes. I had black pepper and for a small extra fee, hot cheese sauce. Very nice, but the cheese sauce started to solidify ..becoming floury. I hope that Awesome Chips can improve that. I hope Awesome Chips can develop to having a seating area. The Birmingham one, has a long queue, is small and people have to queue outside in the weather.

Amazing vegan choices including the Beyond Burger for a very reasonable price. The eponymous chips are also as advertised, with a huge selection of spices and sauces.
