There were very few restaurants to choose from on a Sunday afternoon in Ross-on-Wye. We lucked out and settled on this Italian spot after searching for too long. Rapid, attentive service and the use of very good ingredients. Prices were on the higher side, and the pizza slightly salty, but the flavours hit the spot. A success.

We went on a Saturday for evening meal. The staff and service was good, very friendly and not too much of a wait at all to say it was full. The food and drinks were lovely, averagely priced but good value for money/good portion sizes. Only thing I'd have to say is that is was absolutely roasting hot in there.. that was the only little thing that I kinda found a bit hard to deal with. Other than that, very very nice food

Had a lovely meal here last Saturday night. Great atmosphere and the staff were really attentive. Enjoyed all my food - delicious and good value for money. I especially enjoyed the antipasto starter. Nice affogato for dessert - with biscotti sprinkled on top :) Would definitely recommend. Can't wait to go back.

Great little Italian restaurant, reasonable price, very slick on the service

My wife and I had food here and I must say the sirloin steak was the nicest i ever had. It was so soft like Butter. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Pollo Funghi too. Enjoyed a lovely evening with family and friends

Brilliant food and a great atmosphere. The walnut and gorgonzola ravioli was exceptionally good. The wine lovely too.

Three adults, for lunch time menu, we had the 2 courses for £14.95. Food was fantastic and great value for money. Service was great and a nice friendly atmosphere.

Satisfying in every way. My wife's Risotto surpassed her expectations, and my sirloin was perfect! Service at this wonderful family owned restaurant was friendly, efficient and informative. Overall, an excellent dining experience, which we hope to repeat next time we are in Ross on Wye.

We were staying in Ross overnight and booked at this restaurant a few hours in advance. So glad we did. Authentic Italian with a great atmosphere. It was really busy but we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic food with great service and a good range of items on the menu as well as a specials board. We will definitely return when next in the area.

This is an authentic Italian restaurant with food that is cooked to perfection. The pizza was delicious. This is our fourth time here and every time avellino do not fail to deliver an enjoyable meal.

As soon as you enter the restaurant you are met with delightful faces beaming to make sure you have a great time so that is a wonderful start. The menu is extensive and that is saying something cause I am a vegetarian and even I am spoilt for choices. Taste hits the right note and it is always on point no matter when you visit. Even when they are running a full house there has never been long waits in between courses and neither do you have to jump in your seat to catch their attention. Must visit!!

Fantastic neighborhood Italian, delicious pizza and pasta. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend. Staff were very friendly. Also, they were very helpful in telling my friend which options were vegan. They could do starters, pastas and any pizza vegan.

Avellino Itailian Restaurant; it is a great place for a meal out, with plenty of choices, and has very freindly, welcoming staff, recommended.

For the price food is very good. We had the special of the day and lasagne. Lasagne was microwaved but still very nice. Service was impeccable.
