Very quiet with a limited menu, ordered croissant with crispy bacon and cheese, bacon I believe was bought in crispy bacon just heated up with cold grated cheese on top and cold croissant, coffee was nice. Could have done better

I ordered an afternoon tea to collect to take to a friend's for a festive treat. Ordering was easy and Fiona was very helpful when taking the order. Collected and met with friendly staff. Every part of the afternoon tea was delicious. If I had to choose the most favourite part it would be the carrot cake, light and fluffy, best I have ever tasted. So much to eat and for such a good price. Amazing from start to finish.

This was our second visit since we moved to Kinross, and both times have not been disappointed. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and create a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The scones are to die for with lots of different flavours. My favourite so far is apricot and ginger. Lots of lovely things to look at and buy in the gift shop. Will definitely be back.

What a lovely place to visit, eat and enjoy the romantic ambiance. In the shop you can find something for yourself or just as a gift. I am glad we ran into this beautiful happy place.

The pancakes, veggie soup and bacons were superb!🤩 We arrived just few minutes before closing time but the lady waitress was very willing and courteous to serve us still. She was very pleasant. The cafe’s interior is dainty. It’s really worth stopping by.❤️

Lovely staff and everything nice had had been delicious. My granddaughter and I just love their homemade lentil soup and their waffles are scrumptious l.

Really nice cafe! 10 of us booked up and we were given the table in the back which was perfect. Soup and Paninis were amazing. Didn't have dessert but those who did were well impressed. Owner couldn't do enough to help us. Highly recommended!

It was a rainy afternoon, and we decided to pop into Kinross for a bite to eat to cheer ourselves up. We had never been to Avante Garde before, so we were excited to try somewhere new. It was busy and we were lucky to get a table. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was lots of nice decor to look at while we waited for our food to arrive. It was a nice, relaxed and cosy atmosphere. Our food was great and we decided to treat ourselves to a bubble waffle. Our 6 year old son enjoyed his food too. Hope to be back soon to try some more treats on the menu, thanks again.

Popped into this shop with a friend and managed to get a few gifts for friends. :) I would suggest a visit.

We had a great welcome from the Owner. Lovely raspberry and white chocolate scones straight out of the oven and nice latte. Great place. Highly recommended.

Greatl little gift shop and cafe. Beautifully decorated with great chairs. Really good coffee with a HUGE scone! Delicious moist and tasty! Very pleasant and polite staff.

Small cafe inside a gift shop, what’s not to like. Study the menu as there is a varied choice and everything served looked delicious. Parking just across the street so great for folk with mobility issues. The gifts look first class. I had the rhubarb and custard scone, a touch messy but absolutely scrumptious.

What a lovely place to go. We live near kinross and have wanted to go for sometime so made the effort and went for coffee and cake. Lovely coffee and the staff were so friendly and helpful...won't be our last time...the shape is lively to.

Lovely clean place to eat. Friendly staff. Enjoyed a hot chocolate and a huge scone. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic afternoon tea. We brought our grand daughter along with us and the staff kindly put on extra sausage rolls and sandwiches for her which was greatly appreciated. The food was all fresh and beautifully presented and the waitress was very friendly. Will definitely be returning and recommending

Called in for refreshments after a long walk round Loch Leven!! We had coffee, traybake and crepe. The lady serving us was very pleasant and helpful. Everything was very tasty and I bought a 40th birthday gift which was beautifully gift wrapped and then put in a lovely bag. I then went back a few days later for more gifts and a different lady was equally pleasant and helpful. As we were visiting family for only a week we won't be back for a while, but will definitely return next time n tell family to recommend. Thank you so much.

Just had a lovely lunch. It was worth the wait. Enjoyed a goats cheese crepe. Staff kept busy in this little place, all very helpful. Will be back and will recommend to family and friends who enjoy eating out. Thanks

I emailed and asked for help buying gift vouchers for a friend. It was a birthday present and I'd left it late.The response was immediate. Stuart offered to hand deliver them - which he did. Such great service is to be applauded and I am so grateful. Helps too that the recipient loves this place! Thank you.

We had a delicious late lunch here. We would highly recommend the crepes 😋 Coffee and shortbread were so tasty, we bought some to take away, we'll definitely return

We visited here while enroute to the Caingorms. More accurately we stumbled on the cafe whilst looking through the nice gift shop. We were sat in a small and somewhat cramped seating area at the back of the cafe (only complaint - they need more seating and possibly an outdoor area). However the food was amazing - really nice homemade sandwiches, soups, etc. The best was yet to come however in that the puddings were amazing - especially the pancakes with ice cream (which our kids loved). Definitely one worth trying out if and when you are in this small village

A great place for either a sweet treat of filling lunch. Had the soup and sandwich combo and some stacked pancakes as desert. Soup was delicious, sandwiches was likewise but the pancakes just blew me away. Some places are so stingy with the toppings, not here. Generous amounts of syrup, strawberries and blueberries. Will be a regular customer from now on.

This is a gem of a place. My friend and I had lunch here. Staff were attentive and friendly. The macaroni cheese is the best I've tasted. Very relaxed atmosphere and beautiful gifts to browse. My friend bought a gift and the young lady gift wrapped it for her. What a wonderful service. If you are in Kinross, or passing by, I'd definitely recommend Avant Garde..

I did some Christmas shopping at Avant Garde. I was well looked after and felt I got good value for money on the gifts I bought. Great wee shop!!

A wonderful take out afternoon tea was provided by Avant Garde, it was just delightful! Everything was fresh, tasty and the perfect size, utterly super, thank you!

Normally go in once a week and with covid they follow procedures and take details,once you are there the staff are so good and attend to your every need.good coffee and food.

We dropped in for a look round .What a lovely shop full of gifts and Knick Naks Brightly lit and a café through the back . A superb selection of cakes and sandwiches . Specialities are Waffles and Crepes and great coffee . We will be back again soon

Just noticed this new cafe in Kinross ,really nice gift shop with a cafe through the back .Nicely laid out ,bright and cheerful .Friendly staff . Superb waffles and Crepes especially the nutella ones . Well worth a look in if you are passing

Lovely little cafe, with a mouthwatering range of cakes, pastries and crepes. Very friendly service. Well laid out to with screens between tables for hygiene purposes. Must be a great relief for them to be back open and fully functioning after lockdown.

Was standing in a long queue at the front of the Rowland chemist waint to get in for script and these lovely laddies were taking coffee or tea orders for those who was in the queue free of charge aswell waiting as it was cold a really appreciated the hot cuppa tea shows there is still good people out there god bless them 😘 😘

Bought nick-nacks for myself and gifts for others, the tea/coffee is so well priced and the scones are AMAZING! Kids love the crepes. Such a cute place 🙂
