Was looking forward to visiting following recommendations, but I was spoken to very rudely by one staff member which ruined the experience. Very disappointing and won't be returning.

I came with my partner and baby for breakfast. The menu appeared good. I ordered a mocha and Green Isles (a vegetarian fry up). It was £9.95, and what I received was definitely not the quality of a £10 fry up. It was a dirty greasy dry up. The hash browns were stodgy, as were the veggie sausages (they weren’t plant based). It was a good sized portion and filled me up. My partner ordered poached eggs on toast with a side of smoked salmon. The toast and eggs were good. However, they seemed to be rationing the smoked salmon. They charge £2.30 for a single small slice. The cakes looked really good and their coffee was really nice. So will definitely come back to try their cakes.

We rang to ask if they could accomodate 7 people for lunch and they managed to squeeze us in without fuss. We ordered 2 cream teas (scones, cream and strawberry jam plus tea), 2 eggs on brown toast, 2 vegetarian breakfasts, and a cake plus drinks. We felt the quality of the food was great and the service exceptional. It was my first visit and we would be very happy to go back. The only possible improvement might be to add cream cakes on top of the rather sweet home made cakes, however the scones were wonderful and are highly recommended. Well done everyone at Aunt Sally's and thank you for a great lunchtime visit.

The food was reasonably rapidly served. The venue was full very quickly, kudos to staff our table was cleaned twice before laying! Wonderful food absolutely what we wanted. One word of warning, there is no toilet in the cafe and the shopping centres toilet was so dire last time I visited I reported them and now they are closed for refurbishment!

My husband and I decided to pop in for Breakfast this morning and we found the food to be excellent. I had the children's English with a fried egg and two toast on the side, the sausage was excellent and the bacon thick and great quality. My husband had the Green Isles vegetarian breakfast and he said the vegetarian sausages were really lovely, crispy on the outside, great portion of mushrooms and everything was well cooked and piping hot. We shared a pot of tea and the service was very friendly and timely. We'll certainly be back soon. There were also delicious looking cakes on offer, but alas we were too full, but there's always next time!

Had a lovely breakfast, food was hot and well cooked with a good variety. It’s on the more expensive side but the food served was good. I personally, would like toast to be included in the price of a breakfast. Only downside is that it doesn’t have a toilet (have to use public ones outside).

Popped in for a brunch as working in the area. Was popular and busy which is obviously a good sign. The food was tasty but compared to other cafes I’ve eaten at in the area I found it overpriced. £7.95 for a standard breakfast but then another £1.80 for toast and then another £2.60 for a small black Americano bringing the total to £12.35. Not a cheap breakfast at all. I’ve payed half of that amount for the same all inclusive breakfast in several cafes including Borough Green and Snodland. Nice but not worth the price I’m afraid.

Very well organised for social distancing so you feel covid safe. We only had coffee and cake which was lovely but sadly the staff seemed to be distracted and rushed.

A good cafe now spoiled by HEAVY New Year price increases across the board. Makes this place the most expensive in the area. Every pub and COSTA is cheaper for lunch. Even drinks. £2.20 for a can of pop is extortion.

This was my first visit to Aunt Sally's and it won't be my last. I had the Big English breakfast which arrived in good time, and well prepared. The server was welcoming, helpful and friendly but did not hover. The restaurant became busier as we ate, but she and colleagues made sure that we were looked after. The sausage was particularly good and properly cooked. I shall certainly be returning.

I ate here randomly on the way to a meeting one morning and have to say the service was polite and happy and the food was great, clean, fresh and cooked to perfection! I’d definitely return and recommend.

My husband goes more than I do. He says cappuccino coffee is really good and more to he point HOT. We've had breakfast and lunch there. Really great food. We occasionally take the grandchildren. They love it. Staff are excellent. Very friendly and efficient. A really good local business to support.

We’ve been going to Aunt Sally’s for a quite a while now, especially when we go shopping and the food and service are always top notch. The waitresses are always friendly, the service is fast and the food is always hot and fresh. Breakfasts are good, as are the sandwiches, but the chilli chips are a favourite, whilst my wife enjoys the cakes. One of the very few places where they keep soya milk and other types for people who cannot eat dairy. Highly recommend.

The food is really delicious and the prices very reasonable. The kids had the pulled pork nachos which were so yummy and an enormous portion. My husband said his omelette was the best he had ever had. My bubble and squeak was also really good. The kids both had chocolate frapes, which they loved. Would definitely visit again.

Quite simply the best fry up in Kent. We visit weekly and ok it’s more expensive than its rivals but the quality is 10/10.

This venue is in a mini shopping area, however, it has all your needs. The food here is top notch, delicious & very reasonably priced. Whilst eating have a look at all the 'life quotes' on the walls, I didn't have any cake but there are many homemade to choose from. Do not pass this cafe by, you will not be disappointed.

We popped in for a sandwich and drink and asked for the crumpets with cheese and tomato. I thought 2 crumpets. No, there were 3 crumpets all with tomato and loads of melted cheese and half a plate of salad garnish. Lovely but soooo filling. Lovely mug of tea and mug of mocha. Table service too. We popped in again for a late snack another day and thought we'd be clever with a sandwich. The sandwich was on 2 huge slices of bread with a load of salad garnish again and crisps. I had a slice of coffee and walnut cake, and it was a BIG slice. Absolutely delicious.

Waking up on a lazy weekend morning, one roves over one's recollected mental map of the town and its environs in search of that perfect late breakfast that isn't going to break the bank, isn't too far away or doesn't involve the horrors of town centre parking and, most importantly, IS cooked by someone else. I've been living here for perhaps a little too long and there have been periods over the years that the aforementioned mental topography has been a barren wasteland that sends one slumping back dejected to the domestic fridge, kettle and toaster. NO MORE!

Went here for lunch the service was poor as i only had an hour for lunch and ordered a hot sandwich and had to wait half an hour and when i did get it after complaining couldnt finish it as had to go back to work!! Not impressed.

Stopped off here for some food before heading into Waitrose shopping. Never shop on an empty stomach I say.

Just popped in for a quick coffee and a snack. It's a café where you take a seat and the waitress takes your order. I only had to wait two minutes for waitress - she was taking another order. The decaff latte and big juicy cheesy chips (with plenty of melted cheddar cheese) arrived in minutes after I ordered. A complete mix of customers - elderly couples, retirees having a catch-up coffee, and pre-teens having a milkshake. Friendly atmosphere and traditional British style - reminds me of cafés when I was a youngster - and completely fits in with the quirky old shopping precinct (Mid-Kent Shopping Centre). Would gladly pop in again for a snack or the fabulous-looking all-day breakfast. Well done Aunt Sally's for not straying into pretentious bistro territory. .

I use to use this cafe every fortnight until April 2018 when they made me the wrong omelette and when i told the waitresses they oftered a new one to be served which i agreed i waited a good 10 mins for my food to reappear to find they had given the same omelette back and just thrown mushrooms on top of my food i sent it straight back and waa quite angry. So thus is my first visit back today.well i will certainly never return i ordered bubble n squeak with poached egg and 2 bacon.

Eaten here a few times but my last visit was disappointing,had the English breakfast but the fried eggs were over cooked and the sausages were uncooked on one side and burnt on the other. No consistency,must pay more attention. KC

Beautiful Friendly Polite Clean Cafe with reasonable food prices. This place is Genuine for fresh cooked veg and high quality pies etc. My 2 friends and myself were so pleased we came to this eating place as we have paid out a lot more in well known eating establishments for less quality food. Will be visiting again for sure as its nice to find a cafe that offers a great menu with traditional food instead of burgers and chips etc. I can highly recommend Aunt Sallys Kitchen and i am sure you will not be disappointed with this lovely friendly clean cafe. This is a family run business and they work very hard and very well without you having to wait to long for the delicious food they prepare and serve. Well done to all the staff at this establishment. Five stars from my friends and me.

This was our second visit to Aunt Sally's in two days. The lunch we had yesterday was so good we simply had to come back. Food is freshly made to order and served promptly. Table seating can be difficult at lunchtimes simply because the cafe is so popular as the meals are so good. Menu whilst not extensive covers traditional English meals, sandwiches are available as well as speciality filled baguettes. Additionally home made cakes and desserts are likewise available. We would whole heartedly recommend Aunt Sally's and will make it a must for breakfast or lunch when we visit Maidstone.

We went for lunch here a couple of times in recent weeks, good food at low prices. The only "problems" are (a) the locals know it's a great place for lunch so you need to get in early (12:00) or leave it later and (b) it's so popular they have to fit in lots of tables so it can be a bit cramped.

I probably go here at least twice a week, sometimes more. Never disappointed, be it breakfast or lunch. Consistently good, you can taste it's not cheap meat and it makes all the difference. Staff are lovey, welcoming and accommodating. Living past the other side of town and Aunt Sallys is our choice for quickness and knowing we won't be disappointed just indicates the lack of somewhere decent to go. Superb job.

I have been to Aunt Sally`s a few times and cannot fault the food or staff. Can get very busy at lunch times but it does not effect the staff looking after you. Good range of choice on the menu and changes daily. Would highly recommend.

We stopped in on one of the rainy days in August whilst out bike riding with family! There was plenty of space and the staff were all so friendly! We ordered the most delicious hot chocolates, cadbury flake and maltesers, we also enjoyed the most fluffy victoria sponge and ham sandwich with beautiful thick ham! One of ny children had a cooked breakfast and decided half way through they also wanted a sausage, the staff were great and before he could finish the plate two sausages arrived! Perfect for the area would recommend to anyone!

Fuimos para el desayuno esta mañana y no me puedo quejar de nada. Es precioso y luminoso cuando entras con muchos asientos y muy limpio. El personal es amable y servicial y muy rápido. La comida era excelente y bien presented​. Volveremos a visitar de nuevo.

Visited here a few times now for breakfast. Generous portions. Great food. Great customer service and the food is also quick. Staff were happy to accommodate for my daughter just having one sausage and one bit of bacon. Each time I have visited, Aunt Sally's is not short of customers. Very easy going little place with a good menu and lots of good cakes on sale.We came for breakfast on three mornings and the menu allowed for a change each day.Good cooking,good service and fair pricing.There is easy parking nearbyI would return and recommend.

I have lived local to this cafe for a number of years however only recently visited for the first time.We popped in one Friday mid morning and it was very busy however there is lots of seating and was no problem finding a table.Lovely staff, excellent selection, tasty breakfast and good value for money. I didn't try the cakes but there was a great selection at the counter. Will return again as this is a lovely little place to relax.

Often visit Aunt Sally café with friends, it is always a lovely experience, and the staff will help with any issues, like moving chairs for wheelchairs, opening door etc. The food is freshly made and of good quality, the meat is brought from butchers near Notcutts, and extremely yummy. This week had lovely baguette with fresh thick ham and cream cheese, and it came with small side salad and few crisps. I asked for change from menu as don't like Mustard, and no problem. The meals always come out correct and generally quick, depending of course on how many people in café, but don't mind waiting for freshly made, cooked meals. Certainly well worth the money. Have tried many items of the menu and everything is always lovely and fresh.They also have the choice of skimmed milk, which not many places offer, so makes the place extra special if diet or allergies issues. Well done Aunt Sally - keep up the good work and lovely, enjoyable meals, snacks at a reasonable cost.

I have a dead Aunty who was called Sally and even though she's been perished for nearly three decades, I do remember how lovely she was to me and my vulgar brother because she was a kind woman, and eventually saw through my brother's wicked ways and was actually the first person to come forward. Thanks to her I had the strength to speak up and I only wish she had seen the strong, athletic, agile, intelligent, brave, wealthy and all round brilliant woman I've become since her death. I still have a photograph of her and my also - deceased father up on a shelf in my large house and sometimes when I remember, I take a quick look at it and remember the good old days. What I would do to just spend one more lazy afternoon in my Aunty's company, relaxing in her garden with a glass of lemonade and maybe a cheeky biscuit whilst my overbearing mother wasn't looking. Anyway, this café would have earned itself a four star review, and was brilliant right up until the end. But let me start with the beginning because I've always felt that was the best place to start from. A lovely waitress took our order of a breakfast baguette and a tea. It came out in good time and tasted glorious. I don't often indulge in heavy foods especially in such environments (I'm more used to somewhat higher class establishments) but I have an incredible body for a woman of my age and if you've got a problem with me enjoying myself once in a while then sorry but you're not a person I want in my life and I'd ask you to kindly leave me to it. It really did taste wonderful and we all agreed. Unfortunately, we went up to the counter to pay and yes, the lady there was making a drink, but nevertheless, she saw us stood there and ignored us. Next, another waitress came to the counter and ignored us. Then a third lady came to the counter to do something else and once again ignored us. I was becoming absolutely livid and outraged, so much so that my great pal had to take over proceedings because she could see how angry I was becoming (remember I'm used to people dropping everything to serve me). A fourth woman was in the kitchen and she looked at us, but nobody even acknowledged us whatsoever. It was a disgusting end service. Eventually we actually had to ask if anyone was going to bother serving us so we could pay and eventually a woman gave a pathetic apology but by that time we were absolutely fuming and insulted. Pure rudeness and such a shame to end an otherwise fantastic breakfast like this. All staff need to be put on a customer service course, and learn particularly how to deal with women of my high excellence and dominance. Let me tell you, I was in the area for 3 days and we would have came back here for 2 more days had it not been for this appalling treatment at the end, but we took our hard earned money to another café in Aylesford which was ten times better in service. You lost yourself some extremely fantastic customers, but we will attempt to try it again in a few months and hope that the service has improved.My Aunty Sally would have done such a better job at service as she was one of the most hospitable women before she died.Mrs Davis

I often pop into this little cafe/resturant on my back from keep fit and have a quick lunch. They do hot meals as well as sandwiches and snacks and all day breakfast. The service is friendly, generally quick, and the food is well prepared and presented - and the coffee is nice and hot: I can't stand luke warm cappucino! There's also a good selection of homemade cakes on offer as well as a 'specials' board.

I went there for lunch whilst shopping. The menu is varied, freshly made - and with quality ingredients. The cakes are far too nice. Great cup of tea as well.

We've only just moved to Allington and Aunt Sally's is very local to us. We had friends staying overnight and wanted to get out so thought we'd give it a try for breakfast this morning. What a great decision that was. The menu had a good amount of choice, the prices were reasonable (£6 for a Full English), the portions were massive and very, very tasty. On top of this, all of the staff we encountered were very friendly. A return is guaranteed.

Absolutely love it here! Always find time for a visit when I am in the area. I am a vegan and staff in many cafes look at me quite oddly when I ask if they serve soya milk. But the staff in Aunt Sally's weren't phased at all. Their soya cappuccino and beans on toast is amazing. If they served vegan cake, they'd get 5 stars without hesitation!

Have to say, I'd heard good things about the cakes at Aunt Sally's and had previously been in for a brilliant Full English with my boyfriend. My friend and I had a limited time scale to go for a working lunch to celebrate my birthday. The waitress went above and beyond to make sure we were served promptly. Good food. Well presented. I have had a lovely full English Breakfast on many occasions here and the service is friendly and helpful. Not the cheapest around but you are always assured of a warm welcome.

Been dining in "Aunties" now for about 3+ years and always had good service and great food, a little more exspensive than others but you pay for what you get ! We have notice lately that the waiting time for the food to arrive is taken between 20-30 minutes even though there may be around 8 people in the place, it would be ok if you had a free day but when out on your lunch break it can be a little annoying. We love our Aunties please dont let standards slip !!!!!

Great bacon sandwich and they have soya milk so I can have a decent t coffee. They are very friendly here, happy to accommodate evey one from pensioners to kids. They also do old fashioned meal s such as liver and bacon, stews and pies as well as the usual jackets and sandwiches. Very keen prices and all freshly cooked.

If you want a quality, breakfast,brunch,or lunch,this is a nice place to go after local shopping. too many tempting takeaway treats as well! Pleasant staff,with good communication skills+competent chef. We go there as often as our waistline permits! Not far from Junction 5 of the M20.

Nicely run cafe, Kentish sausages which was a nice bonus, free range eggs (you can taste the difference). Large breakfast and a coffee, just over £10.There was a good offer of breakfast alternatives, and chalk boards for specials, my only small moan was that the menu wasn't clean.Overall very nice and shall return

First visit here and initial impressions were good; nice decor and atmosphere.I think we suffered slightly as we overheard a member of staff complaining they were short of staff. The waitress was not friendly and did not engage in any conversation as she took our order. This arrived swiftly but had to request cutlery to eat our salad and were not offered any condiments. When we went to pay there was a shortage of change in the till which caused the chap major problems as he tried to take payment and give change to us and the customer infront of us.We enjoyed our food and would probably give it another try.
