It’s very lovely and cozy restaurant with delicious food and outstanding service. Definitely recommend it to everyone. Great selection of wine and very tasty food. Frank has a top experience of being an amazing chef. I would recommend to try a lobster bisque and two different steaks. Both were delicious. And even simple vegetables gradually disappear in our mouth. Thanks a lot for the lovely liquor and homemade passion fruit ice cream. Ačiū labai Agnė.

Another wonderful meal at Augustine - we shared a big beef fillet between four of us and it was just perfect. No idea what Franck does to the peas but they are delicious. Fries perfect too. Lobster bisque to start was velvety and full of flavour. All washed down with our favourite Savoie wines. We love this place!

Augustine Kitchen is a Battersea gem. The Savoyard menu is superb, and the service first-rate. Make sure you pair your meal with a Savoie wine - there is in excellent selection and the staff's recommendations are spot-on.

My friend and I really enjoyed the Set Menu. Choice of two dishes for starters and main. Fish was delicious. We sat in the conservatory which is bright and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Service was great, friendly and efficient.

For a location that isn’t easy to get to I expected more for the price. Service was slow we waited well over an hour before main courses arrived after ordering and the restaurant was far from busy. It’s expensive even on the set menu food was good but nothing special. having read the reviews I expected much more and was a bit disappointed.

We booked this gem as it has a 10/10 average review on another site. It is a charming, independent, french restaurant in Battersea. Everything is executed so well. From the charming decor and fabulous service to the absolutely delicious food. I even really enjoyed the background music. It is reasonably priced and there was a set menu if you were on a budget. The food was so good I could go back again today. My wife enjoyed her wine and there was a fabulous selection, as you would expect in a good restaurant. I thoroughly recommend it and I will definitely go again when I am back in the area.

We have been in London for work for three weeks, dining out every evening. This was the best meal we have had here. The server was extremely knowledgeable and attentive, assisting with food and wine choices without being intrusive. The chef came out of the kitchen twice, once to check on our food and once to serve our desserts, including pouring a warm salty caramel sauce over my chocolate mousse. The restaurant itself is lovely: casually elegant, very inviting. The prices are reasonable for the innovative yet traditional menu and very high quality of the food. Our onion soup, cassolette of snails, grilled steak, and braised chicken were outstanding. Dining at Augustine Kitchen was the perfect conclusion to our stay in London, one we will long remember after we return home to the US.

Absolutely superb food and wine list. The veal chop with morells was the best dish I've eaten in a long time. Great atmosphere and excellent service from a professional team. This is the best all round restaurant in Battersea by some way.

Attending a business lunch as part of large group.The rest of the group liked the food, I had to ask for alternative options due to food allergies but this was greeted with an air of annoyance. What I received was disappointing and I could barely get an answer from the waitress to explain what was actually on my plate. Judging from the other plates on the table the food looked nice and people enjoyed the meal, I just feel disappointed I was made to feel uncomfortable and a major inconvenience. The staff should aim to improve their people skills as I found the whole experience to be rude and unnecessary. A smile and interaction with customers can go a long way. I will not be returning.

This is a wonderful 'local' restaurant, a great rarity. The food is superb, excellent quality and an imaginative choice of dishes from beef to vegan. Lovely atmosphere and we frequently meet friends for supper while I have the occasional female lunch. Many of the friends I have taken there have become regulars as well and I can't think of a better recommendation! Diana

My husband and I had booked a table for 2 at Augustine as part of our Christmas Day out on Friday 23 December 2022. We arrived excited and very much looking forward to our meal following all the lovely reviews however it didn’t go well at all! Our booking was at 1.45pm and we called to say that we were running 10 mins late. This didn’t go down too well as the kitchen closed at 2pm. We arrived at 1.54 after sprinting down the road to make it and apologising profusely. I can honestly say that I’ve never received a greeting like this.. I think I have greeted a plumber to my home better than that! Clearly she was VERY upset that we were 10 minutes late. Well it didn’t get any better, the menus were placed in front of us (with no word spoken) and she came back probably around 3 minutes later to take the order and of course we hadn’t really had a chance to look, we were still trying to catch our breath and dab the sweat from our brows! So we didn’t really have time to take the menu in and had to order something quickly to avoid upsetting her any further. Unfortunately the service didn’t get any better, the whole experience was rushed and we just felt uncomfortable. It was like sitting in someone’s house who doesn’t really want you there! The food and wine itself was nice and the set lunch menu is excellent value but the service unfortunately let it down hugely.

Highly recommend this restaurant - the set lunch is an absolute bargain. Sensible and delicious wine. Service a bit slow but food well worth waiting for.

Midweek evening while visiting my son in Battersea - found simply by google search and very pleased with myself for doing so. This is a proper French restaurant serving high quality French food. The relatively compact menu is full of temptations including 2 and 3 course fixed price options. We both went for 2 course ones while sharing some cheese to finish. I had cassoulet of snails then entrecôte while my son had duck terrine and entrecôte - all delightful. We were surprised at being treated to chestnut soup as a complimentary additional first course. The Wine List is serious although settled on a 500ml carafe of each of the house white and red offerings which were both predictably good. The service was friendly, informative, attentive and professional. What’s not to like ?….nothing given our experience. In my opinion to categorise as merely Md-Range somewhat understates this place. I left feeling that my £120 bill (service included) was money well spent. Thankyou..

I enjoyed a wonderful meal with family on Saturday evening. The prawns in pastry set the standard for what was to follow. Those who had the pork and the snails said they were very good. The lamb rack was the highlight of the main courses. The deserts and rose wine all added to a meal that was as good as I can remember.

Thank you chef, for a simply delicious new year’s eve dinner. Each course was fantastically tasty. The foie gras tart, the beef main, turbot and the chocolate dessert were simply stand out dishes. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, warm and cosy and the service was to an excellent standard. This restaurant is a local neighbourhood gem and the new year’s eve menu was testimony to how good the chef is. We love the savoie character to the cooking too. All in all, a great way to spend new year’s eve.

Lovely 3 course lunch for 2 with drinks. Excellent value. We had butternut squash and blue cheese soup, lamb parmentier / red mullet risotto with champagne sauce then apple tart, two glasses of wine and a beer for £52 Inc service. Worth every penny and more. One of the best meals out for ages. Do yourself a favour. Pay them a visit before they get Michele stars and raise their prices!

A lovely intimate and authentic French restaurant. I had the French onion soup which was absolutely delicious, followed by rabbit Ina mustard sauce, also delicious. I had a dessert containing nougat that was to die for. Overall an excellent dining experience.

I have now been to Augustine twice for lunch and enjoyed it both times. The food is simple and excellent. The service is not exactly gushing, but it is polite and attentive - and never fussy. On both occasions it was a good place to have a quiet conversation while also enjoying excellent cooking

Had high hopes for this one due to high score. A bit off location when in London, but we wanted to spend our Friday evening there. Luke warm service upon arrival and not very friendly staff. The restaurant had only a few tables filled, but didn’t have much time for us. Food good and wine offer Ok, but the unfriendly service made it a not so pleasant evening as they were pretty careless with regards to giving us a good resto experience. Will not go back. Not worth it.

The food was good (assuming that you like dishes from the Savoie-area). We do that. But, we also like that the staff is nice, welcoming and serviceminded. My wife speaks French, and we both speak English, so we should be able to avoid the communication-gap. It's just that the staff is arrogant and "see-if-I-careish".

Last weekend I was lucky enough to have my 50th birthday party lunch at Augustine Kitchen. Agnes the restaurant manager and Chef Franck produced the most sensational lunch for 30 of us. The planning was seamless, the food was divine and the service flawless. It is an absolute gem of a restaurant, producing seasonal food cooked with such thought and skill (at a very fair price point) and we feel lucky indeed that it's in our neighbourhood. I would eat there every day if I could!

As a team of 6 we went there as a Friday lunch as a team. As the only French among the team I felt a but nervous when I saw that snails and frogs legs were part of the menu. But we all decided to go for the lunch set meal which had no “French specialties”.

The food is interesting and very well cooked. Nit-picking - the service is attentive, but a little soulless (only one of the two servers) - a sense of fun and humour would be helpful. I would definitely return - a great restaurant.

We really like eating here, the food is excellent and their 3 course lunch menu for £14.50 is incredibly good value. The Corbert French restaurant on Sloane Square is always packed, but the food at Augustine is streets ahead in terms of taste, and the prices are also significantly better! They also allow small dogs which is perfect for us and best of all, in my opinion, is that their chips and desserts are homemade :-)

My family and I had an amazing dining experience at Augustine Kitchen during our brief visit to Battersea. The restaurant was very nicely decorated and cosy, the food was outstanding and the service was super friendly. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, this evening was quite a disappointment which is a pity as the reviews and menu looked great. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty and we were seated by the window. The only other patrons who arrived, a very noisy table of three, was seated right next to us … this is always a mystery why they do this in restaurant when they were at least 20 empty tables why they sit the only guests on top of each other. For the starters we ordered escargots and buffalo mozzarella which were very tasty. For the main, we decided to share the rack of lamb which is one of the restaurant's specialities. Unfortunately, this is where the evening went downhill. We ordered and the very attentive waitress asked "How would you like the lamb?" and we requested Medium-Well. I fully appreciate that every orders their meat different and I am one who has baulked at people who order their steaks well done (I like mine rare) but when it comes to rack of lamb, a fatty cut, I would prefer the fat nice and crispy and it has a nice flavour. The waitress informed us that the Chef refused to cook the lamb any more than medium and if we wanted it Medium-Well he would "not be happy about that". One wonders why you ask someone how they want their meat cooked if the Chef is only prepared to cook it one way. She said the best she could do was Medium but assured us the meat would be well cooked and blood free so we decided to go for it. It arrived essentially raw. The outside chops were cooked but in the middle it was cold and sitting in blood. We tried it but I found I just could not eat it. I hate complaining in restaurants, even more so when I am with company but for £24.95 each we decided to. We asked the waitress to take it back as we could not eat it. About 10 minutes later, the Chef arrived with the chops, now cooked well done and apologised as he said the ticket had said "Medium Rare". All of that nonsense to get the lamb cooked well as we previously requested. Not great!

I had the three course set menu, which included snails, steak and creme brulee. All three courses were absolutely delicious and best of all it only cost 26£ which is generally the price of one rib eye in any other restaurant! I will re visit for sure and I highly recommend this place. The service is also great.
