Had a lovely meal on Friday evening. Reasonably priced and fabulous attentive service by Ross.

I was in recently with my partner and had an amazing time. Lovely vibes and great staff, Leah in particular was super helpful made the experience enjoyable. Food was delicious and reasonably priced as well as drinks. Would recommend!!

Visited on a very busy day, staff were attentive and helpful. Served at the bar by Lily, she was a delight! Recommended some great non-alcoholic options. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty! Friendly atmosphere, will definitely be back!

Food delicious, plenty options to choose from, and good portion size. Great deals on selected foods. We had burgers and a pint, great value for money. Staff extremely helpful and cheery. We were served by Jodie who was friendly and efficient. Pub was busy, and the staff managed this well. Even when I managed to mess up the order, jodie amended it no problem. Good atmosphere, can chat and hear with you're saying, and don't have to shout over music which can be a pain at times. Overall, I will be returning to the pub and trying different options as was throughly impressed with auctioneers. Well done to the hard working staff.

After being barred from this place for asking for the accessible toilet key and then getting barred and told it was my fault for locking the door I would avoid if anyone in youre group has a disability

Decent atmosphere and nice enough pub, took a while for the staff to warm up though, it felt as if we were disturbing their quiet night watching EastEnders or something.

Far too busy. 2 people sitting at a table for 4. Lucky to get served. Bar staff just ignored you.

Complained and didn't even get an apology I had ordered an 8oz steak which came cooked as asked for. However it was no edible very fatty and stringy I could not even cut it

First time visit for me, met some old work colleagues from yesteryear, Scott had picked the venue as he had been before, good vibe about the place, was able to have a conversation without the headache of loud music, bar food was enjoyable, liked the Peroni would have preferred a stella, all in all was a good experience would return again

First visiting the pub,as we were visiting family for the new year.

Staff were very helpful and friendly especially Flynn whose customer service was spot on. Only downside was where we were sitting. It was cold and draughty

Me and a few boys went to the Auctioneers over the Christmas period to watch the football. Terrific atmosphere and plenty of tv's so you can catch the sports regardless of where you are! Special shout out to the girl Jodie who looked after our table all night. Food was top notch!

Loved the mix and match tapas that were great. Friendly helpful staff. Was quiet when we were in but had plenty of TV's showing the football. Came across a few strange punters, though, who seemed to be out for a day in Glasgow from the East( two separate groups.) Harmless enough, but certainly a bit odd. Don't know if this is just one of those places that get one-off visits from randoms from across the country.

Lunch with my friends was spot on. Such a great offering with the lunch and drink deal. We all had different meals but everyone enjoyed every last bit of it, came out piping hot too. The staff were so pleasant and couldn't do enough for us made us feel so welcomed with their smiley faces. We will definitely be returning again soon.

No one told us when we came in that we had to go to the bar and order food ourselves. So we sat for ages waiting on a waitress. Another party was on at the same time so when we finally asked and was told to order at the bar, there were long queues. Food when it came was pretty decent. A little bit noisy but place was busy so expected. Definitely overcharged though. Not all our party got an alcoholic drink but assuming they did - 22 x 7.95 =£174.90 (though at least 6 didn’t) which takes the bill to less than £170 and we got Charged just under £190. Definitely NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT😡

I stumbled upon this brilliant place purely by accident and boy am I glad I found it.What a great find.I must have walked past it hundreds of times but never saw it as I always walk the other way along the street as we are fond of the Italian restaurant on the corner.But for some reason we walked the other way and WOW,there's a pub here.We ventured in and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.The place itself was clean and spacious.My only gripe was they stop serving food a little too early.But that said what a lovely place with lots of good beverages on offer

Group of 10 guys booked for 1 o'clock arrived 10mins early but our table had been reserved for us we proceeded to have burgers and beers for a couple of hours . Service was speedy and food was good

Booked for la wee get together lunch with friends, food was tasty and great value for money. Ended up staying longer than planned. Therefore ordered some tapas later, which was equally delicious. Pub got busier as the day went on, and staff coped extremely well. Drinks and food well worth the money, and we will be visiting again soon. Hats off to staff both bar and kitchen.

A very basic, untrendy traditional pub. Untrendy prices too, a rare find in a city full of overpriced pretentious pubs. I loved it! Good menu but didn't eat so can't comment on quality.

Never been in a pub wi no beer. Plenty of lagers, stout but no taps of John Smiths, Tartan Special, Worthingtons, Bellhaven, Caledonian ect. Was forced to have a session on Tennents. So, 'beer' drinkers beware

Aye had a great wee night here the night, staff super friendly and the prices are brilliant for city centre. Never tried any of the food but the gammon stake with chips smelt and looked amazing.

I tried to see the review i left at Christmas time, but couldn't... Suffice to say, it was brilliant as usual. I am never disappointed when I visit this bar/restaurant. We are a regular party of around 10 folk, sometimes more, and we always get great service and fabulous food. Staff are friendly. Food promptly served - excellent variety & decent portions. Reasonably (very) priced drinks too. Clean toilets. Always delighted!

Decent pub good food and quick service. Best to book online for a table if going in at weekend it gets busy really quick and no we're to sit. Really good atmosphere and prices are ok also, toilets are downstairs and there is a disabled beside bar aswell

Love the auctioneers, only issue is lack of internet and poor signal. Tried the o2 free wifi however unable to use as I was not able to receive any txt messages to get the access code. Apart from that great wee day and lovely food and drinks with great service

Christmas night out with the work team. Busy pub playing sports on TV's. Good beer selection. Staff pretty fair at the bar when its busy. Seem to follow an orderly fashion

It was busy when we went in, and after about an hour, most left for somewhere else, but didn't take long for it to get busy again. Sadly they started to dwindle away again, and eventually we left as well. Overall we had a good time in the Auctioneers.

My acoustic duo were booked for 5.30 - 7.30 on a Friday night. The venue had an amazing atmosphere with lots of people keen to hear live music! There is a great space for the setup with raised platform & plenty of room for us & equipment. The booker is extremely helpful & answered any questions prior. Would highly recommend for soloists, duos or trios who would like to perform live in a city centre pub.

Watched Scotland game. Pub was packed but food order came quite quickly. Cheerful busy staff.

The staff were so nice, friendly but at the same time efficient and it was busy. The food was delicious. Plenty of choice and came on time. Perhaps the tables need wiped down and cleared quicker

1pm on a Monday, surprised how quiet they were. just stopped for a pint. Prices up but suppose so is everywhere, £5.65 a pint. EDIT following owners response. I do like the auctioneers just on this occasion it was quiet, so atmosphere I pegged in the middle, the service was 5 we had no food hence no stars, if it said food and drink then its a 5. I said we were only in for a pint, I like Joker IPA one of my favourites

First time in a pub since the first lockdown to meet up with a great mate and I couldn't have chosen a better pub. The staff are friendly and helpful, the pub has a great atmosphere and ambience. Never had any food but lots of people were having food and it all looked good. Good range of wines, beers, spirits etc. I left my scarf in the pub and some kind Glaswegian handed it in and the staff kept it behind the bar for me. I went in today and collected it, staff again were helpful and friendly. Will be back in The Auctioneers very soon 👍

Living in Glasgow people are usually shocked when I say I don't support Rangers or Celtic. Pertly because I can't be bothered with everything else that goes along with that and partly because I'm not that into football. My point is that to me The Auctioneers looks like it's a neutral bar so I was disappointed when last week I was out with some friends who are Celtic supporters and we chose the Auctioneers to have food and watch the European game (Rangers weren't playing that night). Upon a friend asking if they would put the Celtic game on one of their many screens he was told "not putting that on in here". As I say I don't support either side but when a business is biased without making it obvious just means I won't be back. I wish the people in this city would get past the one side or the other. It's pretty pathetic and people need to grow up. I love my city but this is a big big problem for us. Had we known the staffs attitude would have been like this we wouldn't have bothered having food and drinks there but that'll be the last.

Too noisy. Sports bar but background music was excessive.

Good place to watch the football. Had food as well, pizza was delicious! Really enjoyed the whole meal.
