I can't say anything more than superb, service, quality and value for money. We had the ploughman's this time unbelievable value for money, great service again

Sometimes living in a village has it's advantages like shopping from local farms :). I love this place and I am shopping from here quite often. I started shopping here when my little one was just 6 months old ( now he is 2) and I needed fresh veggie,and later on fresh and organic meat for his weaning journey. Quite pricey some of them, but it's woth every penny, believe me. I am so happy I have this place so close to where we live. They are filled with everything you need: fresh fruits and veggies,frozen fruits,veggies,meat or cheese, all kind of belvoir beverages, cakes,pastries and bread,fresh eggs, jams, curds or marmalade. You can also enjoy breakfast or lunch here,inside or outside. You can also find food for your furry friends. The parking is free and they also have electric vehicle charging stations. You can also buy hay,straws and shavings. All what you need in one place. Overall,is such a nice place to shop,eat and have a nice time. We really love it. Shop local❤️.

We visit quite often albeit mainly for lunch. On the spur of the moment, we decided to pop in for breakfast and in truth we would have had better at Grove Farm. We specifically asked for extra well done sausages as we both like them to be brown all over. The breakfasts arrived and the sausages looked raw which we returned and reiterated we requested the sausages to be extra well done and brown all over. The waitress returned the breakfasts and whilst the sausages were better, you could not describe them as extra well done. The quality of the bacon was very poor compared to previous visits, very fatty and although hot was not cooked enough Overall review, poor quality and cooking could be better We will probably stick to lunches there from now on.

Good service but breakfast was undercooked. Very disappointing.

Had the sausages couple of times and the skins are so tough that me and my partner couldn't bite through them. Local butchers are 100% better and won't be going back.

First visit to this shop for many years and it is now a real gem. Lots of fresh and local produce in a really roomy and well laid out store. We bought fresh fruit and veg, a large sack of potatoes and were tempted into 2 delicious local cakes (coffee and walnut and a lemon drizzle). Plenty of parking and a cafe attached. We didn’t try the cafe but it was busy and obviously very popular. Well worth a visit.

We have eaten here for lunch 3 times now and every time we’d had great service. Nice big selection of foods on the menu with plenty of gluten free options too. Wonderful to have a proper sized gluten free roll for my bacon, Brie and cranberry sandwich (see pic). Food has always been very tasty and of a good portion size for the price. If you like cake you have plenty to choose from here. Highly recommended.

Only popped in to see the relatively new café (well it's about 9 months!). Very impressed with what we had and looking forward to coming back again to try more... whereupon I am expecting to update this review 😀 Update (March 2022): still very good, and they've sorted out queueing and service well. Update (Jul 2023): still good! Update (Jan 2024): still good 🙂

A bit disappointed today. No warm welcome and told where we should sit even though very quiet. Main meal very nice but pudding burnt and dry. Not quite sure what happened today!!

Great shop with lots of variety but not ORGANIC

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The place was half empty but lots of staff working. Waited 15 minutes for a “pot of tea for 2” which is what we had ordered and when it finally got bought to the table we were given a pot of tea for 1. When questioned why there was only 1 cup and a small teapot they said “you only paid for 1 pot” we explained that we had asked for 2 because there’s 2 of us eating breakfast. We had to then pay again for another pot and wait for that to bought over. The teapot was cracked in the spout and various sizes were being given out. The food came out after 25 minutes and upon eating, I noticed a green small patch in the bread, which looked like mould. This got sent back to the chef who said it wasn’t mould because the bread was in date but it was a piece of cleaning cloth/tissue. They then offered me a slice of cake instead for my breakfast or another tea… not another breakfast?? I declined the offer and they walked away. We then had to ask about having a refund for the sausage sandwich because they clearly weren’t going to offer it! Horrendous experience, won’t be going back.

Absolutely amazing breakfast. I had the large and it is definitely value for money. Highly recommended. Also the staff are very polite helpful and nice 👍

Good value breakfast, Enjoyed it, tasty & decent coffee. Will be back again. The sausage was very tasty. Compared to the price of some of the other places around, its just far better.

Came here with a friend who had a lovely meal just 2 days before and she insisted we went with her as it was so wonderful. Very busy, a good sign, but due to lack of soft furnishings and wooden floors the noise was horrendous! Cutlery and plates scraping, chairs scraping the floors and noisy conversations (couldn't even hear ourselves) the atmosphere was awful. We ordered our food and soon noticed that, although there was a lot of noise and rushing about too and from the kitchen, no one was being served with meals. The table next to us did receive their scones and tea however! After 45 mins our meals arrived with a very mumbled apology about the kitchen being unusually busy, although we saw no cooked food appearing. Our ham, egg and chips were the worst we'd ever eaten, although 2 days before our friend said they were wonderful. Two plates of thick, fatty ham with 2 hard, overcooked eggs and burnt chips and one plate of soggy scampi, lumpy, tasteless mushy peas and burnt chips. Very disappointing especially since the same meals eaten in various local restaurants cost far less than the high price we paid for this awful food.

Good selection of fresh produce, friendly staff and plenty of parking space. Will definitely be coming back.

Tasty food, good portions, relaxed atmosphere, free charging for our electric car. What more could we want? Can highly recommend.

We visit for a little lunch (not the first time) but you have to give businesses a chance The food was so undercooked the bacon rind was horrific Quiche was not cook on base and filling disgusting Coffee was cold and sent back twice Not sure what's happened to this lovely place but it's gone from a b+ to an E- Shame we won't be going again for food A coffee and farm shop products from now on and will avoid any food from their canteen cause that's what it feels like

We try and pop in once a week for lunch. Today we had a Chicken & Bacon Salad which was filling and delicious. My wife had Spicy bean jacket potato, again absolutely delicious.

Worst sausages ever tasted rest was ok nice clean atmosphere good staff very friendly bit overpriced for what you got easy to park over all only gave two stars because the sausage witch is my favourite and I couldn’t eat them witch spoilt my breakfast and put me off going again

Went here for the 1st time with a friend that I meet up with once a month for a catch up chat. We usually have a coffee then lunch with a drink and another coffee which takes 2.5 hours. We were told that we could only have the table for 1.5 hours. We decided that we would not give them our £30 - £40 business and will not be returning. We went somewhere that made us feel welcome.

Attfields has been our go to place if we go out for breakfast for a long time. However over recent months, the quality has suffered and we have not enjoyed our breakfasts. At times, breakfast has arrived and the sausages look raw and despite asking for well done sausages, they still arrive and they look under cooked for our liking. However if we have sausage and mash for lunch, they are cooked to perfection?? Perhaps a different chef at lunch? Whilst we still enjoy lunch there, for the foreseeable we will avoid breakfast there and today we have tried the cafe in Cosby (Cook in the Nook) and the breakfast was superb, made from quality local ingredients and cooked to perfection.

Visited Attfields for lunch and we had a great meal. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and is good value for money. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food even though it was busy. Staff were help and polite as always. Keep up the great work.

Came here for breakfast. Waited 55 minutes. My poached eggs and salmon was served with the heel of the bread. Eggs were over done. Salmon was flaked salmon not smoked (for the price you would expect smoked!) Full English breakfasts also served with toast including the heel of the loaf. Most of the eggs on the breakfasts were over done. We did complain and received an apology but not an offer for any compensation. Would have expected maybe the offer of tea/coffee seeing as we waited almost an hour for sub par breakfast. Would never come again especially for the price of the food!! Very expensive, long wait and mediocre food.

This site says "Quick bites" - definitely not! Waited 45 minutes for 3x ploughman's lunches and 1x ham egg and chips. Don't get me wrong, the food was very good but the wait was excessive. They were busy and they have a lot of meals on the menu - maybe that is part of the problem, fewer items on the menu would probably mean quicker service. So if you are prepared to wait it is good food.

My partner and I went for breakfast and was quite looking forward to it after hearing good things Our bacon was only just cooked if you can call it that as the majority was just fat Scrambled egg was wet through to the point I had to use a napkin to soak the water up None of the food appeared to be freshly cooked and would suggest it had been sat all morning We will not be returning - very disappointed None of the staff asked if our food was okay either My partner left and said he would have rather had breakfast at McDonald’s

For £20 per person, for afternoon tea I thought this was over priced, sandwiches were egg, cheese tuna, cheap to make only one piece of pork pie one sausage roll and one vol au vent between the three of us. If it was £10 per head, I might have thought it was a more acceptable price

This was an average breakfast but well over priced ! the service was very good and the place was very clean. I had a medium breakfast and a small coffee = £12-75 ouch. The breakfast was ok other than the bacon which was very fatty...

Love this little gem! Loads of local fresh and frozen produce, a machine to make your own fresh orange juice, good selection of meats, dairy and pickles/jams/chutneys in loads of flavours. My fave part being the awesome selection of cakes they have! There's a cafe on site too (which I havnt tried just yet) and a big pet food section too but not just for dogs, they do horse food too! Highly recommend to anyone who likes food really. Pricing is really good too!

Under whelming breakfast, 30minute wait. Poached eggs and avocado served on the crust end of the bread - lack of seasoning to the mashed avocado.

Fantastic selection of foods for sale in farm shop and lovely restaurant for lunch. Very pleasant way to spend a day.

Had breakfast a couple of weeks ago which was superb, went again today and unfortunately not as good, sausages were reheated/hard however everyone’s allowed one mistake. Hopefully will be back to superior standard next visit

Popped in by chance and clearly the restaurant was very busy. The waitress was extremely friendly and offered to use her table she uses to book people in and set it up for us. The food was absolutely delicious Recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

Well stocked, plenty of parking, polite staff and a nice cafe.

Some of the prices are steep and the bread section dreary. However, they have a brilliant selection of cakes, biscuits, jams and the like. They also have a good restaurant, with reasonable grub. The staff are smiley and welcoming.

The Mozart red potatoes are as good as any supermarket and better than the majority, good for mash and roasties.

We went for lunch today on the spur of the moment, I cannot crow enough about how nice it was. The food was delicious, served promp and was plentiful. I would also like to say the place was spotless, I could have eaten my dinner in the toilets they were so clean. The main thing is the staff, service was lovely and given with real genuine sense of wanting to look after us well. I wil definitely be returning and recommending Attfields.

Had great expectations of this place nice clean and tidy but the Ham and cheese sandwich I had was awful, pork had way too much fat on it and it was chewy can’t understand why people who make sandwiches leave so much fat on ! Remains covid aware. Restaurant looking bare and picture hooks on walls with no pictures. Coffee pleasant but not tempted by cakes...no winter warmers on chalkboard. Service OK but lacking warmth. Been previously for breakfast which is a good plateful.

Booked a table at short notice and had another delicious lunch. It’s also great to see the staff sanitise tables and chairs before people are seated. An absolute gem, great service, delicious food locally sourced and reasonable prices.

I visited this place as it was on the my way to home. I drove in to check what they were selling. Lots of fresh local fruits and vegetables. They also do varieties of ready made cakes and frozen fruits including chips. Fresh strawberries 🍓 and Cherry 🍒. Free parking Seasonal fresh cut flowers with small pots. Not sure how fresh the gala Apple were but you could only get 4 for £1.50 but most supermarkets you can get 5 or 6 for £1.25 Similar to above.. few items were slightly over priced compared supermarkets. Not sure if they sell fresh meat as never seen anything or asked.

The place is clean and tidy. The shop has lots of cakes and fresh veg and fruits. We ate in the cafe, which I think is slightly over priced but it was worth it

Your staff are amazing! I was one of 20 cyclists (in 3 time staggered groups) arriving this morning at 11ish at your Farm shop & we were given a great welcome & dealt with very efficiently by the two members of staff working outside on the patio. We went last week, cakes were hard. Meals were tasteless. It’s gone down hill! Maybe if the staff thought more about the cafe and food rather than concentrating on silly covid rules it might help!

A really nice place for a bite to eat with a reasonable menu to choose from. Each meal we've tried has been lovely. Also the farm shop has a good selection of products too. We'll worth a visit.
