What an amazing find. Books, books and more books. And a lovely cafe selling lovely lunch bites and cakes. Very atmospheric and Def worth a visit. Hint: for fiction books go with some authors in mind ( fiction books in alphabetical order by author), and maybe topics of interest or you will be overwhelmed. Many old antique books and many newer.

Always an absolute joy to visit for its fine cafe and seemingly endless rows of books! The yurt in the courtyard is full of larger tables and made it a great spot for group meetups ahead of book hunting expeditions! Worth spending a good few hours at and easily the best hidden gem of a bookstore in the area.

Despite a chilly start fifteen people braved the cold for this mornings Breakfast run to Astley Book Farm. Great reception from the people in charge who quickly reserved us a couple of large tables in the Yurt next to a roaring log fire. Coffee and a large selection of cakes with the option of your tradition "Bacon Sarnie" were on offer. The waitress went above and beyond insisting that she take the club Photo with us all in, I repaid the complement by adding her at the end. Great place, biker friendly and it's only round the corner 👌

Bit of a gem and I think it's a new heaven for my wife. The slightly hidden entrance and unassuming exterior hides an incredible treasure trove for book lovers. A huge maze of rooms to explore, packed to the rafters with new, used, classic, vintage and antique books, I'm guessing that if you can't find what you want here, you never will. Add to that, they also have a 'ten bob barn' rammed with unsorted mix of books, all at 50p each (for those that don't know what 'ten bob' is. Then, they also have a wonderful cafe too with a small selection of favourites like toasties, hot pork rolls, fishfinger sandwiches and an incredible selection of cakes, all presented beautifully and very reasonably priced too. We had an onion and cheddar scone (with the trimmings), a coffee, a milkshake ( amazing BTW) and a couple of cakes with fresh whipped cream and strawberries on the side, all for about £20. Well worth a visit, especially if you still love a physical book.
