Assenheims 56 in City of London, Westminster

La primera vez que probé Assenheim 56, hace varios años, fue épica. Tristemente ya no es así, se ha ido cuesta abajo algo podrido. Solías recibirte con una cálida bienvenida, pollo perfectamente cocinado con piel crujiente y bordes... era adictivo. Hoy recibimos una bienvenida MUY PLANA, el pollo estaba flácido con la piel gooey y la porción apenas alcanzó para llenar el sándwich. A pesar de que el pan estaba tostado, estaba empapado y ni siquiera lo cortaron correctamente. El pago ni siquiera fue reconocido con un GRACIAS que es un requisito mínimo en mi opinión. Esa fue mi última visita a la tienda en la estación de metro Mansion House. Visitamos la tienda cerca de Tower Hill la semana pasada, que fue una experiencia mucho mejor. Creo que se necesita entrenamiento en el sitio de la Casa Mansión.

Solía ir al que estaba cerca de la muralla de Londres todo el tiempo en 2018 y fue fantástico, ¡sin duda vale la pena la cola! Lamentablemente la experiencia en el cerca de Holborn fue bastante pobre - el pollo no era tan tierno y jugoso como antes - la verdura y las patatas eran sanos, pero la salsa verde servida en una tina de plástico fue un cambio extraño a su distribución anterior de cuchara de una gran cantidad en - tampoco era tan sabroso como recuerdo, por lo tanto, supongo que por qué la miel se ha añadido en una olla extra. Con todo decepcionante por el precio.

Esto es para la ubicación de Assenheims 56 en Ludgate Hill. La persona que hacía sándwiches parecía que no podía importarle menos. Pedí un supremo de pollo vegano, pidieron "100 o 200". Como era mi primera vez, no sabía lo que eso significaba. Pregunté qué era eso, dijeron 100 o 200 gramos. Dije 100. Mi sándwich me lo dieron un rato después y como la tienda estaba apretada, me fui a comerlo. Me dieron un sándwich de pollo no vegano. Regalé el sándwich y no volveré.

La comida realmente ha ido cuesta abajo desde que se mudaron de su lugar original, no te molestes con la larga cola, Nando's es mucho mejor (y más higiénico) que este desastre.

Colleague went to buy us some lunch. Ordered chicken with potatoes and vegetables. Carrots was not cook, courgettes was not cook. I forced myself to eat the courgettes because there were only 2 pieces. We work in the area, my Colleague ask if they do any discount and was told we don't give discount to local people which was choking and rude. For £10 per box it's definitely not a repeat place to go for lunch. We'll be staying away from this place. Not worth it. I gave 2 stars for the yummy flavoured chicken and the lovely green sauce but that is about it.

Food is good, but it's spoilt by a very unfriendly staff. Especially the guy at checkout. If you like to be treated unfriendly then go, otherwise stay away.

Great tasty food and big portions. Went for their famous chicken and green sauce dish which was so flavoursome, the green sauce is addictive ! Queues can be long but go down quickly and definitely worth the wait. Will be back !

Relativley simple menu. The food is quick to table. Very tasty. Portion sizes are generous and filling and even a regular is hard to finish for small portion eaters. Gladly eat here weekly.

The chicken and special recipe green sauce is so tasty and comes with a selection of rice / salad / grilled veg / potatoes. It is a very filling and tasty meal and decent value for the size of the portions. Knocking one star off the rating as they managed to overcharge on the card - perhaps they added a card fee without telling me...

Had a Limonata which is basically £1 everywherebut these guys charged me £1.90. Also the meal was burned chicken. Not worth £8.00 paid for the chicken and veggies.

Most competitive lunch in City. Grilled chicken with rice and/or vegetables as side, for both eat there and take-away. The price amounts up to £8 regular and £9.5 large. It is usual to queue during the lunch time.

Might be the simplest menu but quality is always assured and it is surprisingly healthy for those needing a little treat on a Friday

Went here recently for lunch. It was my first time but this place had always intrigued me as the queues at lunch time are out the door and you see plenty of people walking around with their takeaway bags. I have to say for what I had I was impressed. Large chicken, rice, veg and the famous green sauce. It was huge! a proper dinner, but really tasty. I didn't have anything else to eat that day, no need for dinner that night as I was still full up. As nice as the food is you couldn't eat it everyday so it's definitely a one off 'treat' place or a great hangover lunch place.

i am a regular for some time now and the meat have always been nice and tender. the problem recently is that the meat is burnt and very chewy and hard - the meat is crispy, but the skin - soggy. maybe because of lower sales during the summer rmonths they keep cooked meat from the previous day.

This is a wonderful spot for lunch and the go-to order is the marinated, grilled chicken in green sauce. You can't buy a better lunch for the money in this area.

Was taken here for lunch by a colleague. There a long lines after 12:30 ish. Get there early, the menu is easy to follow - regular or large with 2 sides. I had the regular box with rice and salad for £8. Yes it’s expensive and it’s central London. I should mention that the portion was large. The chicken was tender, the green sauce was tasty! I have been day dreaming about it since I had it. A few other locations around the city. Takes cash and card. Clean, quick and tasty.

Just popped in for a quick coffee whilst killing some time as waiting for entry into Sky Garden (Walkie Talking Building nearby). What a great find, fantastic coffee and a great bacon sandwich and 1st class service. Would love to come back and try the some of the other food on offer and display in counter looked interesting.

This is a great spot close to the office when I work in London. I prefer it without the green sauce but the chicken and rice is delicious and it’s really quick.

Went here today to grab a takeaway for lunch. Got the large portion grilled chicken for £9.50, i.e. more expensive than Nandos. When i opened the box at work, i could not find even one piece of decent chicken meat! All there was: fat,bone and...

We had the place virtually to ourselves for breakfast. I recommend the bacon and egg baguette with red sauce. Great coffee, delicious food and friendly service.

Very good, honest food with a South American touch. Simple, canteen like location and food prepred with love. Very good value for money.

Good food. very tasty esp the green sauce and huge quantity. However you only get HALAL chicken. Wonder why they cant use better ethical standard chicken.
