Aspera Restaurant in Castle Point

I have been here many times, most recently last night (13th April), and every time its been the best night. The cocktails are always yummy, food delicious and service impeccable. A special mention to Sinan, you really made our experience here outstanding! When we come back we hope you take care of us again because we were so impressed!

Visited this restaurant with family members to celebrate my brother’s birthday. All I can say is top marks Aspera for Great Customer service, food was fabulous and the whole experience was made extra special by the caring staff. I highly recommend this restaurant together with all our party that attended. Thank you again. Xx

Food was amazing ordered chicken shish, chicken was amazing, lots of warm bread for starters. Service was exceptionally didn’t have to wait for our food. Can wait to go back, pricing was also very good.i have been here a few times and always the same service. Highly recommended.

We always enjoy coming to aspera and have never been disappointed. It is a little bit expensive for the type of food but it always tastes so good and service is always very good, so it is worth the price when compared with other restaurants. Never had any issues at all and the staff are always very attentive.

The meat was awful. Id not been for a year. Used to joke "my fav restaurant of all times" for quality of food. I had lunch time chicken leg and mushroom. Sauce to die for. Chicken leg not cooked, the skin was just white, soft and slimey. Replaced with Lamb Ribs, once again not cooked enough, had to leave it in a tissue, not chewable. I didnt tell the about lamb, thought theyd think I was a picky eater.. truly not...better luck next time.

Always get treated well agreat menew plenty of food no. 1 resturant on our list youmust give it a try ....

A most amazing restaurant in a most unassuming place. The Food, Wine, and service are exceptional. The last time I came my Mum in law said that how amazing her cocktail was. Now at over 100 she’s saying the same about the food and in particular the Orange Crème Brûlée. I had the steak OMG amaze balls.

What a great atmosphere! Felt very welcome from the moment we approached the door. Nothing too much trouble and they had a perfect blend of being out-of sight but always there when you need somebody to order or get help. Food was excellent in taste, volume and presentation- great birthday celebrations for my partner and our family!

We visited Aspera for lunch to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary based upon the recommendation of a friend. The venue, food and staff were truly excellent and looked after us for the time that we were there. On top of that, it was great value for money. I have already recommended Aspera to friends, and will definitely return again. 5* all the way!

I was surprised at the location, but once inside, it's stunning. Food was another level we literally could not move after eating. Cocktails are something special as well. Ones I haven't tried and I've trued many. Value for money and many glutenfree options on menu

Went with family after hearing brilliant results reviews. Food was better than other Turkish restaurants in Essex I’ve been to eg kervan kitchen and sheesh Chigwell! Agree it’s very loud though. But food is 10/10 x

Same great food and service however portions reduced and now you have to pay for salad and rice as an additional cost! (when it was previously included in the meal) We have visited Aspera over the past few years and always had good reports, however disappointed after last nights meal.

I never post reviews, but this visit warranted it for sure. My wife and I had a last minute escape from the kids and without a plan decided to follow up on a recommendation from a friend. We managed to get a table for two at short notice and we were so impressed, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was great with a live singer too. Staff were very helpful and always looking to please. Couldn’t rate this place highly enough and we will be back for sure. Thanks for making our night great.

We have just been treated by our beautiful grandchildren, to our first meal at this very lovely restaurant. We have no complaints what so ever. The food was excellent, and plentiful. The staff very friendly, and the evening very enjoyable. Definitely going back...

Lovely restaurant, came here with 3 friends and had lunchtime menu, good selection to choose from, well presented, and plenty of food. Restaurant was very busy and a little noisy but it was ok. Staff were friendly and attentive. Parking could be a bit tricky for some, but we parked in a side street and had a 5 min stroll, which we didn't have a problem with. Will defo be back again.

Great welcome from staff, excellent service, tasty food freshly prepared, lunch time deals of starter and main for £12.95 which is fantastic value as the meal sizes are significant. Parking available in Harvester pay and display car park.
