I can say that the pizza is very good. Otherwise, some observations. It's possible (maybe it's regular) if you order on the website, it just didn't work because the table's bill was open before we even sat down. We were dependent on someone who could serve us, which took a while, despite the restaurant not being full. They were willing to resolve the issue with another dish ordered. Prices are a little above average.

Horredous experience. Looked great from the outside , looks can be deceiving. Staff were OK, little lax , but I've seen worse. We ordered starters , mains and drinks. Drinks came out , all OK. Then the mains arrived. I asked where the starters where , and the waitress seemed surprised. She asked did we want to send the mains back , I said , eh no thanks. So she double checked for the starters and then said she'd come back. So we had the starters for desert 🤦‍♂️ the garlic prawn starters looked and tasted like it had been there for about 2 days , absolutely horrendous. Bruschetta was not as bad but not great. Very pricey for what it was , won't be back.

Very uncomfortable, the service is really not good because it literally steals money from you, the prices are too expensive for what it is and the pizzas are not very garnished.

What a delightful place to enjoy and dine. I went in the afternoon before going to a show. Food was lovely, I accompanied the dish with a New Zealand Sauvignon blanc, there was club music playing and the atmosphere was bright. The experience certainly started my day, I went back again after the show.

Lack of garniture in the pizzas. The waiter added some extra and try to cut off the changes in his favor. I clearly do not recommend.

The atmosphere is overwhelming and the employees are courteous. The food was good but nothing special. We will go here again.

I went to this Ask Italian branch in Paddington for the first time on the 11th of March with my boss. The Italian has a nice decor with hanging lights and many green plants. The menus offer a huge choice of pizzas and different types of pastas. For starters we had a cheese dip with warm crunchy bread. It was tasty and filled us until the main dishes arrived. I ordered the Nduja Pizza. It was a delight. The bread crust was on point, the salami savoury & crunchy, tasty melted cheese, and soft cream cheese. I had a tall bottle of Peroni to drink. My boss choose the spicy lasagna. He said it was very good and enjoyed the spiciness of the dish a lot. He had red wine paired with his lasagne. The waiters were very friendly and polite. I will definitely be back the next time at Ask Italian , and try the spicy lasagne. It looks really good.

Good but rather expensive lunch

Great place. A very large selection of dishes, also for demanding customers. Great service, very polite and helpful. Delicious pizzas and desserts, both gluten-free and vegan. A large, atmospheric space in a great location.

We ate a very tasty meal there and drank really tasty cocktails. The ambience is also very appealing! We recommend!

You can't go wrong with Ask Italian. Best pizza! Perfect atmosphere and lovely staff.

The drinks flow, sweet and clear, A pleasure for everyone, that's true. The prices are fair, the wallet is smiling, For a meal here that brings joy. In this shop, so warm and kind, Italian cuisine becomes a real bed. So come over, enjoy the meal, In this oasis, without torment. Because here in England, in this room, Italian taste becomes a beautiful dream.

The server was really sweet and he smiled every time he was at our table. The food came very quickly and taster very good.

Everything we ate was delicious. The employees were extremely courteous and friendly. If you come to Paddington, be sure to eat here and drink its wonderful Americano.

There were mixed emotions regarding our recent dining experience. The food itself was delicious and worth the wait. However, there was an issue with the server's knowledge of dietary restrictions. I ordered the vegan Fettuccini Lentil Ragu. When the main courses were served, the server inquired if anyone at the table would like parmesan cheese. Half of the party declined, while the other half accepted. Upon returning, the server began grating cheese onto all of the dishes, including mine. I had to physically intervene to prevent the parmesan from contaminating my food and ruining my meal. The server then proceeded to inform me that the parmesan was vegan, which was clearly not the case. I clarified that it was vegetarian, but not vegan.

This was my second visit in 2 days, the service was great and the young lady on the first night suggested a beef brisket pasta dish which was to die for. The second night I went back and again the service was friendly and welcoming , this time I had the calamari as a starter and a pasta dish with prosciutto, tomatoes in a Carbonara sauce as a main and then the tiramisu with baileys for dessert. What a meal no complaints only praise from me. Finished with a coffee oh and a glass of Merlot to wash it down. I think if you want great food and service try them out. Reasonably priced I think as I am spending English pounds not Aussie dollars. You get what you pay for. Thanks again for 2 great nights of food.

ASK Italian Spring Street is just the place to spend time waiting for the super offpeak trains deadline to arrive at paddington. Welcoming, spacious and with a fine range of usual pizza/pasta/trattoria menu choices and good, swift cooking it is reliable and reasonably priced. Cheerful managers are a great help too. A nice place to be.

Smells great, tastes great and looks great!

All in all, it was a positive experience. They didn't have any change, so I had to pay with a card, which was a bit disappointing since I only had large bills on me. However, other than that, it was an enjoyable time.

To be honest, the food is bad and I do not recommend it High price for bad, cold food with nothing special.

Every time I'm in London I eat here. Delicious food and affordable. Fine to sit alone too.

Very good italian restaurant. The pastas were excellent and the tiramisu also. A small delay but they offer a spare spritz ! And for my husband a limoncello for his birthday.

16 of us just walked in without a reservation and the staff got us a really nice corner of the restaurant where we could all be together...in 5m , Amazing costumer service !!! Definitely recommended.

Had dinner here yesterday! They were awesome at accommodating our table request and we had quick service. The food was pretty good but the pomodoro sauce was a little bland. A little odd that there wasn't salt/pepper on the table, but it was still delicious without. Highlight of the meal was the dessert! The blood orange and chocolate tart was super delicious and came with raspberry sorbet. The salted caramel gelato sundae was also delicious.

Exceptional service by Vessa! She made us feel so comfortable, welcomed and well served. She is a diamond!

It took a while to take the order, but the food was delicious. I had the creamy pasta and it was the best thing I've had in London. However, the lasagna that my husband ate was so spicy that it gave him a stomach ache. Please be careful.

the waiting staff were lovely, one lady called Verra but I may got that wrong if I have I apologise! She was very warm to talk too and made a nice conversation. If you’re ever in Paddington for some Italian then I recommend here.

We had a lovely relaxed meal for 5 people. Excellent atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. All the food was absolutely delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. This branch is the best Ask we have been to, and will make it out go to place for Italian food when we are in London

Very slow service, it was like we were invisible. Drinks arrived promptly, but starter took 40 minutes and it was over an hour before the main course arrived. Not that busy either and other tables got served well before us. Long gap before we were offered dessert too. Food was fine, but overall experience disappointing.

We had an early dinner at this restaurant as we were very tired and wanted to eat something and go back to the hotel. It is a good Italian but nothing special. Food was good enough as we were really hungry. The service is friendly and quick. It is a good option if you do mot have any other alternatives.

Close enough to Paddington station, but far enough away to not be too crowded. We had a few pasta dishes, which were quite substantial and very tasty. We opted for the sharing deserts which were also very nice. It was very cold when we visited and they had some extra heaters, but it was still a little cold. The design of the interior is good, with high ceilings and nice finishes.

Had a delicious carbonara, waiter was lovely and friendly. Atmosphere was really nice.

Das Essen ist etwas teuer aber lecker . Die drinks sind toll . Dem Personal fehlt etwas die Zeit um sich noch freundlicher um die Gäste zu kümmern es ist ein sehr schneller Wechsel an den Tischen. Set trotzdem zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön.

ASK Italian is a one of the best place for tourists. The food was great especially Lasagne is great and also pizza Natale is also best. Their service is also good environment is really outstanding. For food starter everyone should try garlic bread with mozzarella and trio aron is best.

The food is actually very good. It is a nice restaurant with a good atmospher. Prices are correct for London so i had a good experience. The less : the ringing machine next to my table.

Adding a 10% optional service fee without notice and shoving a pay machine at our card without letting us look at the bill first is a joke! other employee was nice trying to refund it but principle of situation was uncomfortable and rude.

Amazing experience here at Ask Italian. The 3 course Christmas lunch was only £27.50, which is quite a good deal when compared to other restaurants. We didn’t expect the starters to come in large portions too and were already full by the time we got to the mains. The mains themselves were also extremely tasty and the service was amazing. Everyone was really attentive to our table. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered on Uber eats. Absolutely terrible. No meat in the bolognese just loads of unseasoned meat and pasta taste more like a Cornish pastie than a bolognese. This place has gone down hill so much

Honest review, the service was slow and the staff were unfriendly almost coldish. I enjoyed the meatball and sage appetizer It was more flavorful than the bolognese pasta. I did ask for extra sauce and they actually made it perfectly. I wish it was just a bit more flavored. The pasta was perfectly cooked. My friend got the beef brisket papardele that was actually delicious. We got the desserts the tiramisu was very tasty and hit the spot.

A very warm welcome and a lovely restaurant. We did notice a heater on a nearby seat. We had just started our main course when there was a large bang as the plug exploded burning my wife's leg. The staff were very apologetic and did not charge for the meal (which was very nice).

Great atmosphere, it was quiet when we went (2:30pm) but they had customers. Staff were friendly, the restaurant/bathroom was clean. Ordered a few pasta dishes, cappuccino and desserts; good portions and comparable prices. Close Paddington/Sussex gardens.

This isn’t the best way to experience London. Food is so so; service is terrible. If you’re stuck at a hotel near Paddington Station, it’s the best of a lot of bad options. But better to drift farther away if you come. A lame pub is better than this (and there are actually a lot of lame pubs — pub chains galore).

A lovely restaurant and while the food was great I am disappointed with the service as was served by three different people and not once was asked if everything was ok with food, it felt like I was served the food and then forgotten about each time. Be aware that they add 10 percent to your bill for service which I believe is wrong for the reason I gave above, you can ask for that to be removed
