If you haven’t visited Archie Bianco then you have certainly missed out one of the best places to have a coffee, lunch snacks. I live in Tunbridge Wells and have many friends to come down from London for days weekends. I always tell them to get off the train and walk down the lovely High Street and I’ll meet them from the train at patey Bianco. Now they say we are going to auntie Bianca aren’t we lovely pastors for lunch great atmosphere and a good place to see lots of locals and catch up on news well done Giovanni and all the lovely staff and thank you Sara for my Sara special that she makes me on a Saturday if I’m there

What a little goldmine here in Tunbridge Wells a taste of Italy southern Italy absolutely fabulous I adore this place every time I come to Tunbridge Wells I have one of their home-made pasta sauces cheeses to die for can’t recommend it enough

Massively overpriced. Coffee was made with an old Gaggia commercial espresso, tasted 6/10, coffee blend used was acceptable at best. Something looked off about the italian owner which I guess is always on site, and while he was entertaining the patrons with stories and conveying a generally pleasant vibe, he seemed like the perfect coffee shop owner but he just looked like one. First, you could see that he was only catering to guests which smelled of $$$ and he preferred tables filled with female guests, surprised? And as soon as questions (from our part) started pouring in about the prosciutto and the cheese and the panettones (age, provenience, organic or not as I am very passionate about these delicatessen goods and can put your average cheese & ham master to shame), he bolted and left the very young and inexperienced desk girl to try and keep up with our questions which were just basic curiosity. Expect to pay a premium mark-up price for a very bland experience of a small wannabe italian spot.

We don't go to Tunbridge Wells often, but when we do, we like to have a coffee and something to eat here. Lovely coffee, and the food is excellent.

Google gives closing time as 17:30 Arte Bianca's Facebook gives closing time as 18:00 Arrived at 16:45 and told by staff shop is closed... Extremely frustrating considering I've heard such good things about this place. 2 stars as I cannot comment on the quality of the products so keeping slightly positive for anticipation for the next time I have a day off and can work around their early hours.

Extremely rude owner, (Italian guy on his 50es) i said owner because i hope nobody is able to hire someone that unprofessional and rude. He was screaming and complaining about everything in the shop, if someone (his own client ) seat outside in the area with table and chair (for his own customer) he will nock strongly on the windows and tell his own client in a rude way not to sit or move the chair, otherwise some car may arrive and park there ! (like if it was the client fault ) if you pay you can seat wherever you want ! screaming to a client inside because he asked what hot food they do, and he answered none, go somewhere else. this kind of rude and unprofessional behaviour is the reason why i will never go back !the food was good, but you are also paying for a decent services ! and here the services doesn't exist ! AVOID

An Italian family business welcoming, relaxing and sociable. You can eat well without the damocle's sword of "eating in a rush" Good food and friendly staff at reasonable prices, which is what I'm looking for when I want to eat in a restaurant.

When we arrived, we were directed to a table of four. We sat down and made ourselves comfortable. Within 10 minutes, and after they had taken part of our order, they moved us to a smaller table right by the door because it would mean 'they could make more money'. The staff were constantly going in and out of the door, and it was really draughty and cold. We then received our food, which was average at best. We had to ask for water three times before being given it. On the third occasion, the owner shouted at the young member of staff in front of all the customers. It was incredibly awkward and uncomfortable seeing how embarrassed the young server was.5 minutes later, the owner again berated the server in front of everyone really loudly. I couldn't believe he had such bad manners as to tell a member of staff off so publicly! We paid quickly and left. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Delicious coffees and a small selection of snacks and light dishes make this a good stop-off in the bottom of the town. Nougat was lovely. You sit at high tables in the window, so if you are publicity-shy or want to lounge back, this is not the place for you!

Not been by foir a while but called in thsi afternoon dodging the rain. Brilliant coffee, excellent lemon drizzle cake....whats not to like?

A place to have excellent espresso, meet friends, and buy the best prosciutto in Kent. Also like: artichoke hearts in olive oil, olives, Prosciutto Cotto, Mortadella, and a great wine selection.

A real local favourite, the coffee is first class and the Deli is authentically Italian. The lunch specials are all produced in house and are well worth trying. It has become our first choice coffee stop in the area.

I have walked past this place many times, always looked busy so we never stopped. Today there was a free table, so glad we stopped by. Food was delicious as was the coffee. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place seem to have a lot of regulars, testament to the establishment. I unfortunately cannot become a regular because I live too far away, but when I visit Tunbridge Wells again (which I do several times a year) this is where I will be going for lunch. All round excellent.

Great for breakfast or lunch and wonderful produce to take away. They make their own sauces and the Italian sausage with fennel are great.

Superb coffee and excellent panini's. Do drop in to try them if you haven't already. If you look at their score you will see that "excellent" and "very good" ratings combined go to make a 98% score. very, very few establishments manage that!! Says it all really!

After moving to Royal Tunbridge Wells a couple of years ago, this is the place which sees us most. For a good reason: shopping for the finest Italian ham, prosciutto from Parma or Mortadella, all cut paper thin and then packaged most delicately in waxed wrapping paper and individual A4-sized plastic bags, and a vast array of other Italian goodies: rare wines and Flamigni Pannetone from Piemonte. All your shopping may be pleasantly combined with sitting down to eat: the dish of the day, a vast selection of finger-licking tasty pannini, wonderful cakes and the best Italian espresso in town. One cannot find any flaw here except the closing at 5:30pm. One hour more would be most welcome.

Tiny italian shop with coffee tables offering delicious italian food vine, coffee and othee gourmet goodies. Very friendly staff. Great plaxe to stop and bite something.

Quite possibly the best place in tunbridge wells for a Coffee and panni

Arte Bianca is described as a family run, Italian delicatessen and is located in Chapel Place, Tunbridge Wells, close to the famous Pantiles. As it was a warm day we sat outside. There is a great choice on the menu and a range of coffees. The lasagne was simply excellent. We were looked after by a very nice lady which helped to make this place is great to visit for our lunch.

This is primarily an Italian delicatessen but has a few tables for coffee and light meals. Food is good and fresh, with daily specials: panini, pastas, salads. Proper coffee. At Christmas, the biggest selection of Panettone I've seen outside London, but not cheap!

Popped in for a quick lunch - table wasn't readily available but was told to come back in 5 mins and they would hold one for me. The food was fresh and excellent and the wine was faultless too. Excellent

From the outside this place looked interesting, busy and inviting. The coffee wasn't great even though it was a 'proper'machine. quick snack which was a tasty panini. service was terrible. waited over 30 minutes for a panini. not good wouldn't go back

We moved to Tunbridge Wells in August and had driven by Arte Bianca, on a number of occasions. My better half said she had looked into Arte Bianca and discovered that the owner was An Italian and that she thought I would really love it (I lived in Rome, speak Italia and became an Italo-culinary snob).Initially went in to grab a quick expresso and an hour + later ended up walking out with a bag filled with boxes of various Italian traditional Christmas chocolates, each of which the owner had artfully kept handing me a sample to "have a taste"!!I returned the next day where I met and struck up an interesting conversation with a lovely local Italo-Twellian introduced by the owner over a proper cappuccino.The icing on the cake, was to discover that Arte Bianca sells Barilla pasta and sauces, so will become a regular, once they reopen, after the holiday season break. This is a warm, old school Italian Cafe, with Mama in the back calling the shots and a warm family feel. Enjoy!!

I sat here the other morning for a coffee and one of their yummi cream filled pastries, they're a mini croissant filled with lemon cream, it's just a couple of bites but delicious with coffee. This was my first visit but won't be my last. Check this out.

Good for a snack, and great for a coffee. They usually have only one pasta dish at lunch time, and often have nothing hot after 1pm. I've arrived just after 1pm on three occasions and been disappointed, so I stopped trying. But if you are luck, and also manage to get one of the few tables, it's great.

Called for a late lunch. What a find! The choice was amazing and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We both had sandwiches and they were absolutely delicious. If you are in the area, make sure to pay them a visit. Places like this deserve to do well.

The best coffee in West Kent and the friendliest atmosphere. Situated at the end of the High Street and top of Chapel Place this is a perfect place for a coffee and croissant or for lunch. The special of the day and the selection of ciabattas and paninis make a brilliant light lunch. The owner and staff are most welcoming and are always on hand to provide bespoke advice when it comes to food and wine.

Dropped in here with a friend for a light lunch. Very few tables so delighted to find one spare. We both chose panini which were freshly prepared with very interesting fillings. Hot chocolate to accompany - just right on a cold February day. Service was prompt and friendly. Turned out to be a more expensive lunch than anticipated as they have so many scrummy items of confectionery on sale. I bought my wife some white chocolate covered figs. They were VERY much appreciated on my return home.There were many local workers from nearby businesses popping in to collect their lunch whilst we were there. It is a thriving and deservedly popular business.

Popped in here for a bite to eat on the way back from the high street today. Lovely little deli with authentic Italian food ,and staff. I had a Camomile tea, and a Primavera Ciabatta,which was composed of Mozzarella,avocado,tomato and pesto dressing. It was really tasty. My husband had a Ciabatta with anchovies,sun dried tomatoes and pesto. This too was delicious.The Staff were very friendly and sitting just by the window was a pleasant way to enjoy a light lunch. Will certainly make a return visit here.

Tiny really by comparison with others locally but obviously family run,spotlessly clean and all food made fresh to order.Coffee Americano with hot milk (£2.20) was excellent as was the Pannini Sciliiana with anchovies,tomatoes and pesto (£4.45).Really very tasty.Limited seating but in better weather the outside pavement side tables and chairs are good for watching the world go by.Great range of Italianate café food and a quality deal that is highly recommended.

We love Arte Bianca-for so many reasons. Gianni and Angela are so welcoming and have an amazing capacity to remember names and faces. Their coffee and hot chocolate is delicious, the panini and ciabatta excellent for lunch on the go, pasta of the day always warm and comforting, olives and pesto amazing. I'm working my way through the range of what they have on offer! But most importantly the atmosphere is unbeatable. Love it!

Family run business that is a real gem. Best coffee in T Wells and great deli counter. You can park for fee for an hour in the High Street too - if you can get a place! Best part of the town - lots of small shops - and only 2 mins from the Pantiles.

The delicious food ranges from the main meal of the day to panini, ciabattas, salads and cakes. Beverages include wines, a variety of Italian soft drinks and the best expresso coffee in Tunbridge Wells. We meet other regular customers-who also enjoy the Arte Bianca experience. It is beyond doubt a jewel at the end of the High Street in Tunbridge Wells. It is a very welcoming small piece of Italy in Kent!

Why can somewhere like this Italian café flourish here while the villages round about have nothing like it. Great selection of ciabattas and more. Excellent cheeses and perfect coffee. House red and white worth drinking. This is not expensive. It demands a visit.

Quality can be said to be many things but for me quality in a restaurant is the quality of ingredients used, the recipe and consistency Arte Bianca has all three but for good measure and this is why its the very best is Gianni and Angela and their team try it and I promise you will not be disappointed
