Lovley food and service however music was awfull and annoying

Quiet but food was good. Service was excellent.

We had been given tickets as a Christmas present to a Hanz Zimmer evening, and decided to treat ourselves to dinner afterwards as the performance started at 6pm and only lasted an hour. I noted from the website that the place is not wheelchair accessible. It should have said not suitable for disabled customers. I have to use a walking stick due to severe sciatica, and the concert was accessed by a steep set of stairs to the basement. The very uncomfortable chairs were crowded together in the room with no space between them and all I could see were the fingers of the cello player. I was very disappointed that the music was just a string quartet when Hanz Zimmer uses a full orchestra, and although there was no way the space could have accommodated an orchestra, some other instruments would have been nice. I hardly recognised any of the music played other than the Pirates of the Caribbean encore. When we tried to separate the chairs to make seating easier, I ended up with a view of a thick brick pillar. There was very little thin padding on the chairs so I was not at all comfortable. Imagine my horror then, to discover once we had climbed the stairs again, that to access the restaurant, we had to climb two further steep flights of stairs, each with about 20-25 steps I guess, and then to find the seats were the same awful ones we had had to endure for the concert. Although I had pre-booked the dinner, there was some confusion over which menu we had booked. Our drinks and first course were served quickly enough, but we had a very long wait for our main course, and half of my beef was inedible as it was just thick gristle which we mentioned to the waitress when she collected our plates. We then had another long wait for our desserts, and a waitress eventually came over to ask us if we were waiting for dessert even though we had ordered them when we first arrived. I asked when ordering if we had to order dessert as well, and that waitress said yes we were to order all three courses together. The layout of the venue means that there is a space at one corner of the room where you can see down to the bar area below, and as the evening progressed we were aware that the volume of the music in the bar was being gradually increased, so that by the end of our meal it was uncomfortably loud and intrusive. The toilets too could have been serviced more frequently, as there were bits of paper all over the floors, and water spilt everywhere from the quirky wash basins. There were only hand driers at one end of the room, meaning that if you had a handbag with you, there was nowhere to safely leave it while you dried your hands. I was also not aware of a disabled toilet anywhere, which due to hygiene reasons I have to use. Sadly not at all a pleasant experience of an evening.

Interesting stylish and upmarket restaurant, bar and club. Good drinks selection and beautiful romantic setting. Only criticism would be that the decor downstairs and music choice seems completely at odds with the classiness of the rest of the building 🙈.

What a place....a great venue for my mum's surprise birthday party. A sensational menu, super helpful staff who couldn't do enough for us during the evening. Thank you all so much for your help during the night. Will be back to sample the tapas!

In the heart of Hogmanay's embrace, Salsa, fire, and ceilidh grace. A whirl of joy, a petal fall, Friendly faces, the best of all. Downstairs, a twist in the tale, A club's heartbeat, a lively trail. Upstairs, my desired delight, Gladly, friends followed the night. Ceilidh's rhythm, a lively beat, Dancing feet, no need for retreat. Not overly drunk, spirits high, A fab night beneath the sky.

Had the company Christmas dinner here and it was by far the loudest meal I've ever had in my entire life.. couldn't even hear my colleagues and we had to keep shouting to each other. If you want to know what it feels like to eat have dinner at a nightclub this is probably the place to be. Food was not the best either unfortunately. My sea bass was cold when served. And some of my colleagues complained about their vegan options too. Poor staff.. they had to shout here and there too, and the place was so warm we can see that they were sweating but they delivered great services! Hats off to them. The price was very expensive with all things considered. Will not recommend it!

Hogmany at Arta,lovely surroundings, plenty variety in entertainment ,but the bar staff leave a little bit to be desired, especially downstairs as they all seem confused and untrained ,bit like the blind leading the blind....door staff lovely especially the chap with the beard and the girl with the dark hair(sorry I didn't catch your names) I'm the coat with the missing buttons 😂😂 thank you for your help 😀

food basic and bland, tables were sticky, you have to serve your own drinks from the bar, fake Abba was fun though lol

From the moment enquiring, to booking, to the evening itself, everything was seamless! The team at Arta are brilliant. The food and drink on the evening was fabulous and the service team on the night were nothing short of amazing. Always a smile on their face and nothing was a hassle. Will definitely return!

From our initial enquiry to the actual evening was nothing short of a miracle. We had numbers increase then reduce many times but the team at ARTÀ were always happy to help. On the night Stephen was so attentive and helpful at always being there when required and everyone had a fabulous evening. Thank you so much to all the team but especially Stephen! Our Christmas work night out was in Arta on Friday night and we all had such a great time! We had a three course meal in the courtyard room, which was lovely, and then we went downstairs to the club where we had a fab night dancing away. Our host Stephen was amazing the full night and was so accommodating to Team Little's, thank you again.

Amazing place to work. Staff are great [including me]. I just want to say one thing about one person . JACKIE, get your BADGE ... She can run the club downstairs herself, an amazing woman very caring. One of the best females I have worked with. Need her in the security team.

I want to say a big thanks for an incredible Christmas night last Friday! We had an amazing time. Your support from the planning stages was fantastic—nothing seemed too much trouble. Stephen was friendly, chatty, and an excellent host for our private courtyard room. Dinner was delicious, even arranged reheating the main for a latecomer. Cocktails were so good. The club downstairs after dinner was such a fantastic vibe with the old tunes and a great band at the end of the night. One of the best Christmas nights in a long time!! Highly recommended!!

I visited here recently for a friends birthday party. They have a private room area you can book near the back of the restaurant. We were greeted on arrival with a free glass of bubbly courtesy of my friend of course. We had our own music piped into the room via my friends MacBook. Sound quality was good, however as it was a busy Friday night the rest of the restaurant was mobbed. It was very very noise and the music elsewhere was very loud and intrusive. This slightly spoils your private room experience. The toilets are nice but by the end of the night we’re in a disgusting state with all the party revellers leaving glasses and toilet roll all over the floor. My friend had opted for a finger buffet which cost extra. It was okay food, cold wraps, prawn skewers etc. Not sure I would recommend the buffet though.

I was here on one of the Christmas nights out and everyone had a great time! We pre ordered some drinks and on the night everything went smoothly, the staff were friendly and the food was lovely.

Great food, super service in a fab setting (courtyard), banging tunes too. Littles Christmas Party hugely enjoyable and a great success, due in no small part to our host for evening, Stephen. Worked his butt off to make sure we all had a great time...and we did. If you're looking for a fantastic Chrismas party, this is the place to go.

The best Xmas work night out. Arrived late and Stephen kindly brought out my main course even though everyone else on desserts. What a gem! Food was incredible - music in the club was amazing. Beats a hotel party night hands down.

This was a fantastic venue for our office party, had dinner upstairs and then moved downstairs for drinks and a dance and then moved down again for more partying. Suited everyone and of the staff, Stephen Murphy was fantastic, his team were all great.

Went for a Christmas meal and food was to be expected when mass produced, but nicer than most other dinners we have had for work. The dinner service felt rushed and it was usual extortionate prices at Christmas time for an average meal. No entertainment after the meal just down in the main bar which had a nice vibe although was full of influencers photo shoots.

Was here for a ladies lunch and had a lovely meal upstairs then downstairs for drinks later. Loved the atmosphere and the staff were very helpful

I booked their fireplace area here for my 18th birthday night out with my friends and it was everything and more! The place is absolutely stunning, the service was fantastic every staff member was so helpful, even the bouncers! Special shoutout to Lisa, jackie, Jasmin and christie! And also the events team Heather and Andy for making sure everything was perfect for me. I will 100% be back and will recommend to the high heavens!

Went to arta for dinner and the service was amazing, the manager Maisie was really helpful and took care of all our needs. Had the best time at arta the staff went over and beyond to make sure we had a good time.

I was here for a 21st and had a great time in the red room. They have a good selection of drinks with reasonable prices. Service was impeccable. Special mention to Josh one of the bar staff who went out of his way to help me and also made me a delicious mojito!

We did the abba tribute here , the restraunt and food stunning , unfortunately bar staff let it down tremendously, they clearly were understaffed and some staff untrained for a cocktail bar , one simple order of 3 dissarano sours and 2 bottles ciders took around 15 minutes after ordering which we waited a long to be seen even though we were at the bar and it wasn't so busy at this point. We would come back but would hope the bar situation would improve

Came for a few drinks for a mates birthday, a really cool bar area, very different to other places in glasgow and staff were really friendly. Handy having the nightclub downstairs as well for a few of us that decided to stay later

We hosted a private reuinion party for our young people that had been on a trip over the summer and Arta was a great venue for this. Andy was really helpful in getting us what we needed to make the room fit for our group. We would definately consider hosting future events in Arta!

Reservamos con algunas semanas de anticipación para una ocasión especial, muy agradable por teléfono, en realidad me dijo las opciones de menú para la noche que íbamos. Continuaron con una llamada de confirmación el día anterior, así que todo se veía bien.A la llegada nos llevaron a nuestra mesa, el restaurante y la decoración son impresionantes, pero poco sabíamos que las cosas pronto irían cuesta abajo poco después.Elegimos el menú especial de 3 platos con champán rosado y la joven camarera le permitió a mi pareja cambiar su entrante. En este punto también pedí un refrescoLlegaron los entrantes, el entrante intercambiado era fresco y sabroso, pero era pollo frito, así que nada lujoso. La mía era salmón y rábano picante que claramente se había hecho varias horas antes del servicio y se estaba secando, pero lo comí. Se recogieron los platos de inicio (en este punto pedí mi refresco nuevamente). Para los platos principales habíamos "mejorado" por 10 adicionales cada uno a Chunky Chips & Chateaubriand medio raro, pero lo que obtuvimos fue 6 rebanadas de medio asado bien hecho para compartir, aunque con una deliciosa salsa de pimienta, las patatas no estaban gruesas y cocidas congeladas. Cuando llegaron los platos principales, pedí mi refresco TERCERA vez que llegó en esta ocasión.En ningún momento ninguno de los camareros preguntó cómo estaba nuestra comida, ni siquiera cuando recogía los platos (que tomaron una edad) nuestros platos del desierto terminados se sentaron durante al menos 20 minutos antes de ser recogidos y pudimos pedir café.El restaurante estaba lleno pero no demasiado ocupado teniendo en cuenta la noche, tenían un montón de personal y un maitre d 'que ni una vez nos revisaron o incluso nos miraron desde la distanciaNo nos quejamos porque habría tenido que levantarme e ir al bar para llamar la atención de alguien.Fue una noche especial, la aprovechamos después de una semana difícil, terminamos nuestras bebidas y nos fuimos.No volveremos, transmitiremos nuestra decepción a la persona que recomienda a Arta y le recomendaría al lector que piense mucho antes de elegir este restaurante. We were given an opportunity by our company Clyde Munro as a thank you for our hard work, to spend time in this establishment. From the minute we arrived in this magnificent place (interior is Classically stunning) Andy our cocktail Masterclass barman, was polite,friendly,patient,included everyone & set a comfortable environment for our special night....Once we went upstairs to Dine, we were placed on a spacious clean table With everything we needed... our south African waitress (sorry couldnt remember her name) was also very patient, which would of been very difficult to serve as some of our party was very tipsy & loud... the Food did not disappoint either as too was delicious... Thankyou from us all for a fantastic night of fun & laughter....(I do apologise for our level of noise)

Visited this bar for drinks. Recommended by my friend as she had visited it before . Bustling on a Saturday night but managed to find a table . Glasses of wine pretty expensive but enjoyed the ambience of Arta . Great for people watching. Lovely decor and ample , clean toilets upstairs .

We arranged a surprise 30th birthday party for my daughter in the Gold Room at Arta and can’t speak highly enough of the service we received right from the planning stage with Jamie, Rachel and Jennifer through to Sunny and all the bar staff on the night. There was a slight hiccup at the start of the night with the sound system but it was quickly sorted out and from then on everything went like clockwork. The bar staff couldn’t have been more helpful and Sunny was amazing. He really went the extra mile to make it an enjoyable night for everyone. The buffet was excellent too with a good selection for all tastes. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Arta to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion.

I recently held my sisters hen party in the Gold room in Arta and it was a great success. It was truly a fabulous night from the music, the food, the table setting, the sangria, and more importantly the wonderful service. All the staff worked so hard to make our evening an enjoyable one which we really appreciated. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and the sangria was the “best they’d ever tasted!” The guests had a wonderful time and more importantly, so did my sister!. I could not thank the manager and the staff enough! I would 100% recommend holding an event here as I could not fault the place. I’ll definitely be returning.

This place has really gone down hill!!Took my son here as a treat before theatre. We felt treated very badly. They only took some people's costs for them. Waited aged for service even though they weren't busy, no wander!!The staff were too busy chatting to each other. One girl even had to go up and get her own wine!!The senior management came up and all of a sudden the staff were busy!!My son could not eat any of the food. They put chilli on a child's chicken!! The prawns were stone cold. I would have complained but was trying to make it a nice atmosphere for my son and did not want to wait any longer!!It is definitely not worth the money!!The shirt is pudding was terrible thick tasteless cream, they would have been better having ice cream with chocolate sauce!!I wish I had read reviews before I went

Wow, realmente nunca antes había pedido hablar con un gerente, pero el catálogo de errores que se mostró para la cena de cumpleaños de mis amigos anoche fue casi impresionante. Cuando el resto de mi grupo llegó, no parecían saber acerca de la reserva. Llegué un poco tarde, todo parecía estar bien. Pedimos a nuestra camarera que pareciera un poco nerviosa, pero supusimos que era porque tenía problemas para escucharnos debido a la pdr estridente. fiesta en la que estábamos sentados afuera. Nuestra camarera volvió a revisar varios artículos y parecía no estar familiarizado con el menú. Diez minutos después de que ordenamos, volvió para decir que las vieiras no estaban disponibles. Esto estuvo bien, sucede que pedimos alternativas. Nuestra comida comienza a llegar, francamente nos decepcionó la paella, una "gran paella para compartir" para 18 era una porción para dos. Nuevamente, nuestra camarera nos dice que "no tenemos queso mancego", por lo que hay que cambiar otros tres de nuestros platos. Debo decir que nuestra camarera no podía disculparse lo suficiente y claramente había sido arrastrada por el personal de la parte trasera de la casa en este momento. Pedimos más reemplazos para los artículos originales que llegaron todavía estaban esperando una ensalada cuando le avisamos a nuestra camarera que va a revisar y regresa para decirnos que tampoco tienen queso azul, por lo que tampoco está disponible esta noche. ¡Excepto que el plato no contiene queso azul, revisamos el menú ya que a la persona que ordenó la ensalada no le gusta el queso azul! Pero bueno, otro reemplazo ordenado. En este punto, pido hablar con un gerente. Pedimos postre, excepto que la camarera nos informa que obviamente no hay mancego para la tabla de quesos, pero sustituirán, no tienen crema catalana (señal de decepción para la cumpleañera) tampoco hay sangría presse. Entonces, de las 5 opciones de postres, hay 2 y medio (si cuenta la tabla de quesos alterada). Pedí el helado de churro que llegó y tenía unos lamentables 5 churros pequeños de pie en un vaso de helado de crema batida al 90% con un poco de brownie desmenuzado y sin salsa de chocolate como se anuncia. Las proporciones eran risibles. Todavía estoy esperando hablar con un gerente casi cuarenta minutos después. Le recuerdo a otra camarera que estoy esperando. Somos testigos de cómo se le dice al gerente que huye del piso del restaurante antes de llegar a nuestra mesa unos minutos más tarde. Se disculpa por haber esperado tanto tiempo para hablar con ella y nos dice que nuestra camarera no se había comunicado que queríamos hablar con ella: esta es una mentira descarada que vimos mientras nuestra camarera se acercaba a ella y recibía una respuesta muy agresiva. tanto que le preguntamos a nuestra camarera si estaba bien cuando regresó a la mesa y le aseguramos que no la culpamos por las fallas, ya que estaba haciendo lo mejor que podía. El gerente luego procedió a poner excusas y decirme que los restaurantes se quedaron sin cosas al final de un día ajetreado, lo cual reconozco que sí sucede y si solo hubieran sido las vieiras, no nos habrían importado, pero 6 de nuestros platos tenían que ser cambiado y había una elección limitada de postre. Una cuarta parte del menú no se pudo cumplir debido a la falta de ingredientes, ¿por qué no se comunicó esto al personal del frente de la casa antes de comenzar el servicio nocturno? , y en cuanto al final de un día ocupado, el restaurante estaba aproximadamente un tercio lleno y nuestra reserva era 7. 15 en un sábado por la noche (casi al final del día) esperaría que un restaurante bien establecido pudiera estar preparado para un sábado, particularmente un fin de semana de un día de pago el sábado. También debo señalar que hay tres supermercados a pocas calles del restaurante, uno de ellos habría tenido algo de mancego. El gerente me preguntó qué quería francamente en este momento, solo quería irme, recibimos un 40% de descuento en la factura y algo de sangría. También debería decir que pedimos que se pusiera una vela en el postre de las niñas de cumpleaños, esto llegó diez minutos después de que hubiéramos terminado nuestros postres y la camarera preguntó quién era la chica del cumpleaños, obviamente, mientras había una tarjeta de cumpleaños literalmente frente al ¡cumpleañera! ¡Al menos nos reímos de eso! Espero un correo electrónico del gerente para discutir los múltiples problemas que tuvimos. Obviamente, no recomendaría arta a nadie y no volveré.

The perfect wedding venue - my friends got married here and the place was a lovely setting for a wedding with all the different areas used throughout the day. The team looking after everyone are a credit to the venue, they were very friendly and nothing was too much hassle. The drinks were reasonably priced and there was never a queue at the bar. The food was great. Just a fantastic day.

Really love meal here in great surroundings felt like I was in a large holiday villa! Staff all very friendly! We had a tapas and wine deal £35 for 2 and it was great value the house wine that came with it was lovely and the tapas dishes very filling couldn't even manage a dessert. Would definetly like to come back

This was my birthday gift Spanish Afternoon tea. We booked in advance and gave over our details and any dietary needs. When we arrived and gave over our names they did not have any record of our details or our booking. We did get assured there would be no problem and got taken to a table straight away. We were quickly given our glass of Prosecco and asked did we have any dietary needs to which I replied yes I am gluten free that is why I booked in advance. The first course arrived and when you look at my husbands food then my food you felt let down not sure what pomegranates have to do with Spanish food but I had some on my plate. Then we got our second course the afternoon tea (cakes) well my face fell to the floor I looked at my husbands plate then my plate and all I had on my plate was 6 slices of fruit from a tin and a fig with cream, my husband had 3 cakes 1 scone and jam with a pot of cream. I would have thought a establishment like Artà would not look after its gluten free customer like this!

I visited for lunch with a large party of colleagues to celebrate Christmas. Service was fast, efficient yet impersonal and disappointing. Overall the food was just OK: good portion of salmon starter, with insufficient salad (no dressing I could detect); turkey main was disappointing, small portion of meat, and undercooked roast veg; chocolate tart dessert was super.

Visited for our Christmas night out. Food was delicious and served quickly - we had pre-ordered in advance. Good choice and selection of drinks and wine. The decor is stunning and the Spanish theme is fun.

This bar is in a great location directly across from Merchant square. The bartender was very accommodating and made me a bespoke cocktail. I would describe the surroundings as lavish. I love it!

On a Christmas shopping trip to Glasgow my granddaughter booked this restaurant for our evening meal. We found plenty of choices on the menu suitable choices for vegetarians and meat eaters and were not disappointed. The staff were excellent and we did not have a long wait for our meals, the tapas were excellent and no complaints.

£23 each for Christmas dinner and it was unbelievable. Genuinely the best Christmas meal out I've ever had. Lovely restaurant with attentive staff. After the meal we were taken to a reserved table in the main bar until the nightclub opened at 11pm. Live band and disco were fantastic. All ages having the best time. Can't recommend highly enough ❤

My partner and I came here for the Halloween event, and it was fabulous! The atmosphere was brilliant, the food was delicious, and our server Mirren was fabulous: really helpful and attentive.

Wonderful restaurant. We were served by Maisie. We had a little mistake with the wrong paella being brought out but it was fixed really fast, excellent service!! Would definitely recommend. Food was amazing too.

My friend and I had the loveliest of evenings in the restaurant upstairs. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and made it very special for my birthday dinner. Glasses of bubbly and a lovely ‘card’ - happy birthday written in white chocolate and decorated with berries. Food lovely, wine lovely, company lovely - perfect

My partner bought me tickets for the ABBA revival night including dinner. It exceeded all our expectations. The staff were excellent from front of house on arrival to Masie our waitress. Everybody was so friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and I wasn’t expecting such an occasion to have hot moist chicken. Very impressed. Went to night club after and again it was really enjoyable. Great night. Well done Arta on a fantastic venue and experience. Would definitely recommend and go back again. Also got to view it as a wedding venue earlier in day and it looked amazing.

Had booked a booth for my friends 40th birthday, on arrival, there was no record of the booked even though all details had been communicated and pre paid for, once I proved we had booked it with an email we were put in a booth, and the drink we had paid for were finally given to us - the mixers made the drinks taste horrible and on requesting a couple of cans of mixer so our drinks would taste better (and to make up for the inconvenience of not having the booking, which would have been a nice gesture) we were blatantly told no - so had to buy some to make the drinks taste normal. very disappointing experience, won’t be back.

Recientemente organicé una fiesta sorpresa para mi novio en Arta y lo recomendaría para cualquier tipo de fiesta de cumpleaños de función privada. El lugar en sí es excelente, la sala privada para eventos es espaciosa y también está convenientemente ubicada al lado del bar. La iluminación ambiental y la decoración crean un ambiente relajado y ambiental. Booked the alcove for a ladies afternoon, communication from Jennifer & Rachel was very good, prompt response to email and calls to discuss this. Happy with service received, friends have all let me know they loved the venue, food and the sangria.

We went to Arta for my best friend’s hen party and a great time was had by all! We had a private 3 course dinner in the Courtyard and a cocktail masterclass for all of the girls. They let us play our own music in the Courtyard too which was a really nice touch. Really helpful staff and great atmosphere! Thanks again!

Vine aquí con mi esposa para nuestro aniversario de bodas. Oferta de tapas no decepcionó, ensalada de queso de cabra y arancini fueron excepcionales. La camarera fue muy atento y el plato de feliz aniversario con fruta al final fue un toque agradable. Trasladado abajo para cócteles después, gran ambiente, servicio rápido, buenas bebidas. Todo alrededor de una gran noche, gracias!

Llegué a Art en nuestra primera cita y no me arrepentí. Gran ambiente, personal encantador y tienes que probar las croquetas de brócoli. ! El trato de las parejas fue extremadamente razonable y el tamaño de las porciones no era tímido. Churros por la victoria!

Visited on Saturday evening, arrived 6.20, booked the day before, 6 tapas and bottle of wine for £29.

We came here for my sisters 30th birthday. To begin with there were not enough seats for the party, 6 people had to stand around while they found another table and some chairs.

Visited for my sister’s hen party! Had a fantastic night. Started with the samba class which was great fun. 3 course dinner for 16 people and everything ran like clock work. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this venue.

Visited with a fab 5pm Saturday night offer which made for super value. Food was so tasty, service friendly and excellent, and the atmosphere upstairs makes it a lovely different place for a date. Will be back for drinks downstairs!

Had the best night for my best friends Hen Night. The Cocktail Masterclass was so much fun from start to finish. Cant thank Jim enough for how well he looked after our group, so attentive and made us feel like proper VIP's....he really did make our night!

Organised our grad ball at arta and had a fantastic night! the food was great, served quickly and they accommodated for all the different dietary requirements. Sunny the manager was very attentive and ensured everything was running smoothly for us.The after party in canvas with the DJ was a hit with everyone and we all enjoyed dancing the rest of the night away! I would highly recommend arta to anyone looking for a grad ball venue, the staff were communicative and accommodating when organising the event and the venue is stunning.

Incredible day at Arta yesterday for our daughter’s graduation. 15 family and friends were treated to an amazing Spanish Banquet second to none. Fabulous presentation, wonderful staff and terrific customer service.

Organised a Hen Party last September for the 14ladies and honestly can’t rate Arta and their treatment of us highly enough.

Honestly could not have had a better night to celebrate our Grad Ball. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and allowed the night to run smoothly, big shout out to them all!! Would highly recommend anyone thinking of holding an event to consider Arta as their venue. Food was delicious with excellent service, followed by the amazing DJ that let us dance the night away. Will definitely be back!

Booked the courtyard for our daughters graduation celebrations. Sunni and Shona could not have done more for us. First class food, first class service and the fact that they opened three hours early just for us made it all the more special. Cannot rate highly enough
