I don’t normally leave reviews but on this occasion… WOW AMAZING experience!!! My first time in Wishaw… I came looking for a quick coffee, after dropping my son off at his football game. On arrival I was approached by some lovely gentleman who gave me such a warm welcome. I ordered a cappuccino and had a quick look at the menu which looked very appetising. The gentleman then showed me to a table where I ordered some breakfast. The ambiance, my order and the customer service gives this place 5 stars ⭐️ I will definitely go out of my way and come back to this lovely gem again ❤️

Lovely place for food. I was initially disappointed by the menu as I’m vegetarian but the waitress was very knowledgeable and let me know about the amazing swaps and alternatives to make each option suitable for me. It was busy but didn’t impact on the quick service and beautiful presentation of our food. I will definitely be back!

Went here today for lunch. We were not disappointed. The menu had lots of beautiful food and I found it hard to choose. The surroundings were lovely and funky and the staff warm and friendly. Food had so much flavour and we both enjoyed our dishes. Very reasonable priced for quality. 10/10 guys.

Amazing place, the food is quirky and delicious. There's a varied menu with something for everyone. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. And the decor is amazing There also a delightful garden area, with half covered so you can enjoy your food even if the Scottish weather takes you by surprise. A must try!

I had been to Aroma a few years ago as I worked nearby and when driving through Wishaw sat 10th June... i suggested we pop in with kids for breakfast.... big success for us all. The menu is really inventive which is a major plus mark for me. There is enough restaurants and cafes in Lanarkshire that knock out the exact same menu of Steak pie, Lasagne or Fish n chips to last anyone a life time....utterly bored with it.. Aroma is a breath of fresh air, a menu that has touches of invention, something that little bit different and for that reason yes we will be rushing back and for a lunch. The kids really enjoyed and I had poached eggs, bacon, carmelised onion and balsamic dish on sourdough... really nicely presented. Produce all really nice. We look forward to return visit as this is on our list of "above the ordinary" merit and a winner. Thanks to owner for taking time to show myself and our kid his little sporty MG outside... was fun. Keep up the invention in yourmenus as it was packed and clearly appreciated.

Today was my first trip to Aroma and it was fantastic. The cafe is dog friendly, all the staff and especially Lindsey, the owner, were fantastic with my dogs. We had a table with lots of space for the dogs to relax and lie down. Food was amazing, extremely fresh, warm, generous portions. We both had variations of the Mac and Cheese, was so delicious. We were so full after lunch but the cakes looked too goo to resist, so we got some cakes to take away, they didn’t disappoint, yummy. Service was excellent, the staff could not have done more for us. Really good value for money too. Will definitely be back 🐾

Aroma is a lively quirky cafe. Dozens of old album covers on the walls provide great talking points. Staff are helpful and friendly but could check on the upstairs room a bit more often. However the food is the star! For breakfast or brunch it goes way beyond the standard. There are some unique combinations and twists to regular staples. It’s great to see Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royale with toasted soda scones rather than the traditional chewy English muffin - so much nicer, although you can choose either. Fried tattie scone breakfast wraps is another great idea. Don’t know why someone hasn’t thought of this before - tourists would love it! They also have interesting main meals and a great range of cakes - can’t wait to go back and try these!

Started using Cafe Aroma as my go-to place for great food, great coffee & an all round brilliant chill place. The staff are great and the owner is always keen to engage with the customer. Only started using it regularly once I realised that you need to get in early doors due to its popularity & high footfall of regularly returning contented customer base. Well worth a visit. You won't regret it. But get there early if possible to avoid waiting on a table.

Been coming to Aromas for more years than I care to remember, have never had a bad experience the staff are amazing and always cheerful, been coming with my Grandson for two years now and he loves the staff and locals who say hello to him, he's partial to a tattie scone and I have a much needed coffee afore spending the day with my wee bundle of energy. Thanks Lindsay, and all the Aroma team fior your hard work and making it such a pleasure to visit. Jamie I will never have beans with my breakfast sorry 😆 Keep up the fab work

The Raj wrap- almost impossible to eat though the chicken,well over cooked and solid in places Salt n chilli chips- would have been as well being mash potatoes,so soggy, disgusting tbh. Heard so many good things about this place and I'll probably try it again as I've no sampled the breakfast and other options. Very bad first impression though and terrible food

My daughter eats here more than me and took me a couple of wks ago and it was simply fab food. She took her boyfriend last wkend and all Was great again. However , took my 77 yr old mum today who is on palliative care for oesophageal cancer and can only eat a soft food diet and all her life was the plainest of eaters . No fancy stuff - ever lol. She undergoing chemo at the moment and felt upto a wee jaunt today so thought I would take her here as food was fab. Got a seat no probs👍🏼 had to ask for menus- had to ask to order- then this young girl came to take our order and was left fuming by her unsympathetic attitude!! Mum can only eat scrambled egg or Porridge or homemade soups etc so asked for scrambled egg for her to be told it was after 11.39am and they don’t serve this at 2pm. Explained mums situation and if I could order anything else I would but she was due meds and needed to eat and was thinking where else can I take her ??? She offered Mac & cheese- mum doesn’t like this. I explained again re cancer. No sympathy nor apology just staring as if what do you want me to do?? I said Is Lindsay in? No- day off - owner. Who is the liveliest man in earth and this place is a credit to Him and his friendly attitude . Makes you feel like you really make a difference by eating there. Anyway said just leave it and the girl just simply walked away but did say I will be making sure Lindsay knows about this on my return. She said it’s Lindsay’s rules. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 so - I then asked if there was a manager there and they got Carla - I think - apologies if wrong. Explained again and also said we have came all the way from hamilton to let mum seethis Place and by this time I could have eaten the table! She said she would ask the chef. I totally understand that if People see scrambled egg coming out after them being refused due to the time etc but surely if you explained to people mums predicament this would stop the complaint in its tracks ?? I totally get rules etc but a bit of empathy was all that was required here. She got her scrambled eggs . 👍🏼👍🏼 don’t know if I had pissed staff off but hadn’t Got our coffee and had eaten half the meal so asked for these the. Had to ask for a slice of cake at the counter to finish our drinks off. Don’t let this put you off as the food is so fresh and delicious but confused as to why you can get eggs Benedict and not scrambled eggs after 11.30?? Anyway please go and enjoy but felt so strongly about this today had to write this as it’s hard enough dealing with cancer and had just discussed what mums wishes and plans were before going In here so Was upset enough as this was the first time I have actually got her to go In anyway to eat since last October . Obvs staff aren’t To know what customers are going through etc but the last thing I needed today was to go through all that. That was the first time I’ve ever said out loud that mum has cancer. Not even an apology from this girl who showed no feelings at all even when the meal came out. The French toast was delicious again.

Food very good, as usual. Staff very good, as usual. What’s happened to the Coffee? Usually served in small, cozy cups and very strong and rich. Today, it was very weak and tasteless and served in a large mug. Bring back great coffee 😋

Haven't been to this cafe for a while,and will never be back.It took 40 minutes for our food to arrive,and what a disappointment it was.We both had toasties,and they were awful,the bread was tough and chewie, and and we both left most of them uneaten.Worse was to come with our caramel shortcake, we both took one bite and spat it out, and it had obviously been lying for a long long time and was beyond stale.Looking at other reviews,it seems we were unlucky,but I have to be honest our experience was dismissal at best.

Second hand review from my wife and son who visited today for brunch...They don't do Trip Advisor but asked me to pass on their joy at the brunch. Great food with great service and a brilliant atmosphere, they have been before and always had a great experience. Well done to Lyndsay and the staff . If only I spent more time in " Wishy" I would join them …..Cheers.

Love this place, staff create such a nice atmosphere. Has a real community feel to it . Food is always lovely and very reasonably priced. I personally love the Spanish twist breakfast, very tasty! Great place to meet up with family/friends for a catch up.

Great little Cafe for breakfast or lunch and a nice coffee. The inside is quirky with superhero themed tables and table numbers are from a decks of cards.

I have visited Aroma on visits from Luton to see my family in Wishaw, Lyndsay and his pleasant staff are great hosts and nothing seems to be a bother, would highly recommend

From the outside it may not look like much but don't be put off. The food is great, the service exceptional and the decor quirky. It's a simple but original menu and I can't wait to work my way through it. At last there's a good reason to go to Wishaw.

I am a regular in Aroma Wishaw, coming multiple times a week for coffee & food. Food is excellent and well-priced, with staff always very pleasant and attentive. This is about the only decent thing in Wishaw, and have brought clients from work here in the past who also loved it. Superb!

Was visiting a chiropractor in this area and passed by this coffee house, was impressed because it was busy, that’s always a good sign so my daughter and I went in for breakfast, I’m so glad we did, staff were very friendly, service was good and food was first class. Reasonable priced , coffee was amazing. Definitely go back. The atmosphere was great, I just love George Michael so I was very happy to sit eating my pancakes listening to his wonderful music. My daughter got the full breakfast which she struggled with as her plate was full. I ate her toast lol. Thanks again. Please try this establishment definitely worth a visit .

Have been meaning to write a review for some time after coming here with friends a good 3 years ago the first time!

Having visited before for breakfast we knew the food and service was excellent. We visited on a Sunday for a late lunch which was equally excellent (if not better). I had the veggie haggis with goats cheese tattle scone wrap which was immense. The kids had breakfast pancakes and my husband had a chicken munchie. All were scoffed!!!! The icing on the cake (the cakes we’re yummy too), was a babychino for my youngest who loved it. The only problem you’ll have here is getting a seat as they’re always busy (which tells you how good it is)

My friend and I go here regularly for Sunday Brunch or Friday breakfast.

Found this place by chance when my son was craving a proper cup of coffee after a hospital appointment. What a wee gem. We both fell in love with it. Fab decor, great music, amazing food, superb staff and of course, sublime coffee... Oh and the best devorated Christmas tree I've seen this year! We will be back. ❤️

Although I have already reviewed this bistro, I have not done so since Lindsay brought out his vegetarian menu [dishes for carnivores still available]. It is great that minority diets are now being recognised and Aroma's choices certainly fulfil that demand. My wife and I still enjoy the friendly service and relaxed atmosphere, but even more so now with the extended menu choices. We will visit again soon.

My wife and I frequent this bistro regularly if we require a light lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed. The reasonably priced food is very good and is served by friendly attentive staff. Well worth a visit.

I use this place regularly, but, the prices seem to be getting higher. Shame really as its a nice place and the staff are generally nice.

visited for food and asked for no garnish or salad....yes it came with garnish. i dont say no garnish / salad to be picky im alergic to tomato. person i pointed this out to was like well we all make mistakes. yip pretty big one if i had a reaction in ur shop and sued. wont be back.

Dropped in to waste half an hour before an appointment. Very busy but a comfortable table and chair was available. A latte and the biggest most delicious Empire biscuit gave me time to relax before my appointment. Latte was great, good strong coffee no wishy washy brown liquid in this café.

Aroma get's top marks from me. A quirky, relaxed and welcoming eaterie with comfy couches as well as the retro tables and chairs.

Very busy place with the most freindly staff and owner, stopped off for breakfast and managed to sit at one of the Robin theme tables, breakfast was great well worth it in the end

A hidden gem in Wishaw high street. Had a lovely lunch of paninis, salad and breakfast rolls followed by coffee and yummy cakes.

Excelente, amable, acogedor, un ambiente genial, la comida es increíble, tartas son especialmente buenos. Imagine salchicha, tocino, tomate, haggis, setas y morcilla envuelto en un plato medio bollo tattie, cubiertas con un huevo frito y servido con una guarnición de frijoles y pan tostado, agregar una taza de té, terminar, si puede, con una deliciosa tarta de la excelente selección disponible. Increíble. Este es mi favorito, tienen un montón de otros platos deliciosos. Bien merece una visita.

Gran personal la comida estupenda. Me encanta el lugar. Primero visitamos en enero. y sin embargo tener comida que no me gusta. Si estás buscando un lugar en wishaw para tomar un bocado rápido, no busques más.

Aroma is a great wee coffee shop. Lovely staff and a great menu both for beverages and food, and they have different dishes on off each day too. very good prices and a nice atmosphere.

I've just possibly had the nicest tuna ciabatta in my life.. And just when I thought I hadn't tasted anything nicer in years.. I bought the chocolate nut slice. OMG.. I'm in love. This establishment is worth every one of these 5 stars. The staff are lovely, chatty and eager to please. Great ambience and great prices. Amazing!!

Aroma's is by far the best coffee shop in Wishaw! The food is always lovely and is a bit more exciting than the usual coffee shop food. The coffee is proper barista coffee and the service is always good. The only downside is it is not really big enough for how busy it often is!!!

Iv been a few times now for a takeaway breakfast after phoning an order on a Sunday morning. (After my daughter insisted it's the only place to have breakfast) I would never have considered going out for breakfast in wishaw as I live locally. But I was so pleasantly surprised ! Iv now been converted! Food is cooked fresh to order, so be patient! Cakes are amazing! Staff are very friendly and welcoming, down side is that it's too busy to sit in . Would definitely recommend here, pity it's not bigger as it's too noisy , but would do amazing if they opened up at night as a bistro! Wishaw needs quality food with atmosphere!
