Wow...I had heard so much about this golf course and finally got to play there today.. what a place, course was in great condition considering how much rain has fallen in the previous week.. the views from all around the course are exceptional too.. to finish the day off we had some lovely food served by friendly staff.. well stocked golf shop too, again served by attentive member of staff

It would be easy to say that Ardglass Golf Club is a real gem and leave it at that - those who have been there will have their own wonderful memories and understand exactly that - Ardglass Golf Club is a real gem! However, for those who haven't yet had the pleasure, your smile broadens as you step foot onto the grounds. The clubhouse is hauntingly strong and beautiful, dating back to 1405AD and recognized as the Oldest Club House in the World!! The white tee block on the 1st hole is nestled into the rugged shoreline of the Irish Sea - the starter proclaims that "The Irish Sea is to your left, the rest of Ireland is to your right!" Sounds easy doesn't it!?!? Having played the course over the past dozen or so years, it's not always easy to pick out the many improvements that have been made to several of the holes - the renovations are not glaring, they fit nicely into the overall design and environment. Everything is authentic! If you're lucky, as we were, you'll feel the winds blow, you'll taste the Irish mist and you'll be treated with a perfect rainbow by day's end. Beyond that, you'll be treated with the warmest hospitality, food and friendliness from the Golf Shop to the bar/restaurant. Do yourself a favour, put Ardglass Golf Club on your bucket list!!

Great place to dine. The fillet stakes were cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and quick.

Great history with the historic club house in a castle and beautifully situated course. Great views of the ocean from most holes. Course was well maintained and caddy (Chis) was extremely friendly. Practice facilities could be improved. Pace of play was slow.

A beautiful place, I really wish I could have had a round of golf, instead I could just watch. We dropped up to the clubhouse after, it is lovely with great views of the course and the bay. Apparently it is the oldest clubhouse in the world. We enjoyed their clubhouse, service is good. It's nice just to walk around this historic and beautiful club.

What a place! Course is challenging but fair, with beautiful views! Yardage reads short but it's all wind dependent. Food is lovely and people are friendly!

Fantastic views, challenging holes (very tough turn around 12-14) but a beautifully maintained course. I'm lucky enough to get an invite here 3-4 times a year and it's always a highlight. If I could play it more often I absolutely would.

Holes 1-5 hug the cliffs and the Irish sea, with stunning vista's and challenging golf shots required. Take a breather from holes 6-9, then 10-12 bring you back to towards the sea, with spectacular views over Coney Island and out towards St John's point lighthouse. As much fun as you can have on a golf course!

The golf course is situated on the coast and one can see the sea from all 18 holes. Cannot be matched anywhere. The club house is a magnificent building with food and service to match

Went here for lunch. Simple food but so deliciously made, great value too! They usually only serve members but if they are not busy at the time you might get a chance (just like we did)!

Played the open with a full timesheet so was surprised when the 1st green was getting hollow tined as I was waiting to play my 2nd shot at 1.30. Back 9 is really nice.

The course was in pretty bad condition. I've played it many times, so I know it's not usually like this, but it was still disappointing. The food was good though and the service was excellent.

Ardglass is a fantastic course located close to Royal County Down. Its one of those true "hidden gems" of Irish links golf. With stunning cliff edge tee boxes and greens, this course is a must play when visiting the North of Ireland. It's a fair test, quite open and most importantly fun to play. Lovely greens, great food and super staff. Paul Vaughan in the pro shop is a gent. Tell him G Golf Ireland sent you!

We went to Ardglass Golf Club on New Year's Day. We wanted to do something special with my sister and brother in law. We had a beautiful dinner there. Staff very friendly and professional. They all made us feel very welcome and at home. Thank you for your time.

A proper golf course. A good test of golf with stunning views. If you like links golf then you have to play here. The green fee is excellent value for money for the standard of golf course. We could not have received a warmer welcome from staff and members. We will definitely be back!
