Half of our party had booked an Ardbeg tour and tasting, and we agreed to meet them beforehand at the Old Kiln Cafe. We hadn't realized how busy it would get at lunch, and although we were seated and had eaten by the time the tour started, we were under pressure to finish eating and free up some seats. The food was nice, although the servers seemed overwhelmed, and therefore service was slow.

Ardbeg-Whiskies verkosten, die in ordentlichen Drams serviert werden, nicht in solchen Abklemmer-Miniatur-Varianten wie mancherorts. Then the maitre d decided to also serve the Japanese bloke and his taxi driver behind us, then seemed surprised to tell us the restaurant was now full...we were to wait 20 mins for a table, so I looked outside and there was someone sitting on the picnic tables, so I asked 'can I sit outside?'
