Half of our party had booked an Ardbeg tour and tasting, and we agreed to meet them beforehand at the Old Kiln Cafe. We hadn't realized how busy it would get at lunch, and although we were seated and had eaten by the time the tour started, we were under pressure to finish eating and free up some seats. Even if you're not visiting Ardbeg distillery for a tour, drop by for a spot of lunch. The food is delicious and varied, and the prices are very reasonable. Staff is attentive and quick, kitchen is talented and fast to bring out your food. Tip; have the sticky toffee pudding, it's dangerously yum.
