Old and reliable. Food always excellent and great variety (extensive vegetarian menu also). Try the Achard for sure, it’s absolutely delicious. Staff always very friendly

We booked a table for the 8 of us, and were treated so well by the staff, the food was excellent and the bill was a pleasant surprise. All in all a great night, just the ticket!!

Went to Archana a few times over the years although this was the first time I'd visited Belfast for 15 years. Well, it's still there! And still food is as decent as I remembered. Had the veggie thali with a particularly excellent naan. Service friendly and attentive. Hope it's not 15 years before eating there again!

Deceptively small restaurant, it's actually a lot bigger with another floor, nice atmosphere very good Indian food, very reasonably priced, thaali was very good value for money. Thank you Ashok Shama, the owner, Karthik and Pooja who were our attentive front of house staff.

The restaurant recommended to us by our hotel was fully booked so found this on the map, managed to book a table to tie in with us arriving on foot and was not disappointed.......went straight back to our hotel to tell them to spread the word, a fantastic family run restaurant; a true gem in the heart of Belfast.

Since 1985, Archana on Belfast’s Dublin Rd has been serving authentic North Indian dishes using fresh local ingredients & spices. Amazing vegan options and friendly quick service. I had sucher nice vegan food with extra side dishes that they created even though not on the menu.

I ordered a take away meal at approximately 17.20hrs (I was the first customer) after 20 minutes I left but was disappointed to find there was no chilli at all in what was listed in the menu as medium hot. Perhaps this was not typical of their take food, I could have brought it back but they would just have added some chili powder instead of properly matured chilli sauce.

Will not be back ordered collection when got home order was wrong and had hair in main course and tasteless.

Always get back to Archa na every time I’m home in Belfast. 1st class food and somewhere I wholeheartedly recommend. I’ve been a regular customer for over 20 years, but since moving to Leeds, can never get as often as I would wish .

A great Indian restaurant in central Belfast. Highly recommend the mixed Punjabi main containing lamb, chicken and prawns but only if hungry. The food was steaming hot and freshly prepared. The nan was fresh and very tasty with right amounts of garlic and coriander. Service was good and the atmosphere was nice. Good value restaurant with excellent food.

Have ate here three times now. Each times the service is efficient and friendly and the food has been consistently good. Reasonably priced as well and in a central location. One of our party is vegan and the staff are always very good at suggesting dishes and advising what sauces/breads she can or can’t have. Looking forward to coming back with my hubby as he’s not tried here yet.

We were a group and the Waiter added a Fee saying it was stated on the Menu. I said we didn’t want to pay it and would prefer to leave something on the table as a Tip. He insisted it was company policy and it would have to be paid. I regret not checking the menu as it did say Discretionary. An unpleasant ending experience. They missed out on what would have been a more substantial tip for a meal that was mediocre at best unfortunately.

My husband and I enjoyed a beautiful meal here on October 16th while on a short break. We shared a mixed platter of starters which was delicious. I then had a chicken korma, which was perfect. My husband enjoyed his main meal too. The peshwari nan was the best I have ever tasted. Lovely coffee too. Service was friendly and attentive. We were staying very close by at Tara Lodge(wonderful) and it was a nice short walk to the restaurant after a busy day sightseeing.

The food is good. But the service is terrible. The waiter was super rude. He actually gave us trouble for asking too many things even though the restaurant was empty. We were the only ones in the place and he was super rude. It was like they were doing us a favor and we were the paying costumers. Wouldn’t recommend it ever. The worst time.....

Archana is an old fashioned but good quality curry house serving all the classics. For vegetarians there are plenty of choices and they can tailor the flavour to your requirements. Service was friendly and welcoming. The bombay aloo was a particular highlight. The only slight disappointment was the garlic naan bread which lacked a degree of flavour. Nevertheless a solid option for belfast.

As regular visitors to Belfast, we have enjoyed eating at Archana Indian Restaurant (see the previous review) and were delighted to learn that the restaurant is participating in the Meerkat Meals 2 for 1 offer - an extra incentive for us now that we are pensioners.

I have been coming to the Archana for over 20 years now and it is still as brilliant as it was then. The owner - Mr Sharman ensures that the food served is always of he highest standard and the balti dishes are amazing. My favourite is chicken tikka Punjabi masala balti (with extra mushrooms) and a pershawi nan to accompany.

We always visit Archana Indian restaurant every time we come to Belfast to visit family. Its great food and always tastes exactly the same for the last 10 years we have been coming. Service is always fantastic and enjoyable food.

Excellent, authentic briyani! Ordered in through Deliveroo when passing through Belfast and it absolutely made my evening! Well packed, hot, fresh and the papads were surprisingly crisp and arrived in one piece!

Last minute decision to have a curry. Went for a Balti, fantastic pieces of chicken in it, loads of sauce but not much else. Would have liked my naan to be a bit thicker but I guess that's just personal preference. Very quiet in there so no issues with service.

I never knew Paneer manchurian is bhajiya coated sweet chilly sauce.

I have been going here for 8 years and it has been absolutely amazing. The food here is cooked straight out of the kitchen and you never ever have to wait. The food has flavour and amazing texture and I would definitely recommend this place.

I have eaten a number of times at this restaurant in the centre of Belfast. It is closr to bus station, the cinema etc ad near ciry centre hotels. Expect to be served good authentic Punjabi cooking at a reasonable price.

The food was very good. The spiciness corresponds with the description and was very tasty. The portions we're bigger than what we you could finish, we took the rest home.

Enjoyed the complementary chapstick and accompanying dips. I tried the vegetarian Punjabi masala and eggplant hurts as well as vegetarian thali in a Tiffin box. It was the first time we had masala served in a wok. Flavors were delicious. The eggplant shine through. Although the Thali tasted very good, the presentation was not as attractive. Would recommend this restaurant order the garlic naan.

Have been here on numerous occasions and can’t fault it food is great and staff are lovely definitely the best indian have tried indian restaurants in Lisburn and Belfast and this always wins

Tuvimos una gran comida; Disfruté especialmente de mi rey langostino puri de arranque, y me encanta su saag alu. El servicio fue excelente, y el personal era muy amable y servicial. Came across this restaurant by chance as we were staying In a hotel nearby. Food was excellent, piping hot when it was served. Very quick service and friendly staff. Only small criticism is that the restaurant was a little tight on space.. but overall very good.

I booked a table for 5 of us on Saturday 8th December for 8pm arrived at restaurant to be rudely stopped at the door and told we have no table for you and your booking should not have been taken. Not so much as an apology, or did they even to try and accommodate us. We were told maybe if you come back after 9pm we might be able to fit you in. A disgrace this is not how you treat paying customers who have booked it was extremely embarrassing as I had organised this for a Christmas night out. There was no customer service I will not be back nor will the rest of our party.

We're all mega drunk and the owner, waitress Rebecca and chefs have made our absolute night! Group of 7 family members mega pissed- popped in for a mega meal and got locked in. All our song requests put on. Staff and everyone has been amazing. The food......omg.....abso....amazing!!!!!!

We were in Belfast for a concert and due to the rating and location booked in for a meal. To say we were disappointed is an understatement with my main complaint being the strength of my curry and my wife’s chicken dish was over cooked and dry. I ordered a lamb rogan josh, obviously a medium curry, it nearly took the top of my head off! Mentioned this to the waiter to be greeted with a smirk and advised that is how they make them, we would not return!

Went on Friday night for anniversary dinner with my husband. Was seated upstairs beside a horrible door leading to what was maybe the kitchen also had two very horrible fans right beside our table.
