Aqua Beach Bar . Restaurant in Gwynedd

Went in for a quick drink and olives. After waiting over 45 mins we left without them. Didn't seem particularly busy but the service was soooo slow. Wife also got a takeaway coffee which was just about warm at best.

3 visit to Llanbedrog and the first time this bar/cafe has been open. We've always just missed the season. It was the first place we visited on the first morning. It was fairly chilly, but the staff did everything to make us welcome and comfortable. Very dog friendly, what we did really like was the dogs on floor rule, fair play and very good. Love dogs but don't want to sit or eat off dog left overs. We called back later in the week for drinks. Staff were super. Friendly and happy to chat, made the visit memorable. We will definitely be back.

I love the coast. Nay, I adore it. Despite living on island, my nearest coast is an hour's drive away. Whilst holidaying in this particular corner of North Wales, I was looking up beaches on Google Maps I could take my dog to and came across super nearby Traeth Llanbedrog. The Aqua Beach Bar, as it turns out, is a real find! Located quite literally JUST up from the beach (the aforementioned Traeth Llanbedrog) and just downhill of a National Trust car park, this taverna is cosy, atmospheric and serves up fantastic food. You enter the café over a tiny flat bridge that sits atop the little river trickling down to the sea. You can choose to sit inside or outside and they've got you covered for a little bit of extra warmth with some heaters you can turn on and off. The service was always very smiling and welcoming, and the food was really REALLY good. You get an incredible view of the beach, even better when the tide is in. Also, very important to me, it is dog friendly and even has a little doggy menu. I went with my wife, her mother who is in a wheelchair and the dog; and we all had a great time. In fact, we went twice. For lunch as well as breakfast. For lunch, I enjoyed the Trio of Fish. At breakfast I had the pancakes with syrup and fruit. Lovely. So yes... dog friendly, disabled friendly, premier location and top notch food. What more can you ask for?

Beautiful beach cafe with clean loos. Dog friendly and very welcoming, if a little chilly because though covered, the eating area is outdoors. We are well for a fair price and enjoyed the experience.

I'll be honest I have no opinion on the food however the black americano is unfortunately disgusting, however everything else us amazing, definitely recommend going as its next too the beach!

Simply great little spot. We managed to sit in the front seating area with an open view of the bay. Staff are so friendly. Decent menu.... Great walks back towards Abers over the big hill (Mynydd Tir-y-cwmwd). Love it

A very nice beach bar right on the beach with overhead cover and heating should you need it. Fantastic views and a good atmosphere, didn't try any food because it was getting near closing (6pm) but it looked really good. Next time I'll go earlier and stay an hour or two.

Lovely spot by the beach, service great. I had the home made quiche and would recommend it. Dog friendly which is what you need when on holiday, they even have a separate Doggy Menu 🐕

A very well planned bar and restaurant, large glass panels to offer shelter but take advantage of the stunning surroundings. Situated on the beach for easy access. Good food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Well worth a visit

Amazing place on llanbedrog beach. Llanbedrog near Pwllheli on the Llŷn peninsula is a long stretch of sandy coast with colourful beach huts, ideal for families. The village is renowned for its mile-long beach, the most sheltered in North Wales, most of which is managed by the National Trust. Llanbedrog Beach, which is now owned by the National Trust, is a safe and sandy beach and very popular during the summer months. A dog friendly beach to your right as you go down the slip, to the left you will need your dog on lead past the beach huts. Beach Bar serving homecooked food to eat in or take away from mid March until 31st October. The bar restaurant is perched above Llanbedrog beach which in itself is simply stunning. Sit back, relax and just admire the view over the sea towards Snowdonia.

This is in a brilliant spot. Great views and a good selection of drinks. We also had cakes which were nice. Try a local gin and tonic or go for an ocean colada.

We love visiting Aqua. Been many times for breakfast and lunch. Always very pleased with quality of food. Staff always helpful and polite. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Such a gorgeous place to sit and have a coffee or a meal. We have visit Aqua Beach bar regularly and really enjoy the experience. The price is a little expensive, however it is worth it for that first class front row seat at the beach.

Stopped for a light meal and a beer while sheltering from a sudden downpour. Food was first class and very reasonably priced. Staff were excellent and service was really good. Located just on the beach with great views, well worth a visit

We visited just after the three storms, we were well received by the staff who were very accommodating, the food was very nice and arrived in good time. We parked in the car park up above which was free as we are national trust members. Thank you, we will definitely visit again

What a fabulous spot for lunch,we walked from Pwhelli to this venue & were not disappointed The staff & service were excellent & the trio lfish meal we shared was to die for, Not many places have Moretti on draft so that was a bonus. I would definitely teccoment this place to all.

Nice restaurant. Right next to llanberdrog beach. I had a small Welsh breakfast. Value for money. Parking in the nearby national trust car park.

Really friendly staff, great food, really looked after us after we got soaking wet walking along the beach, welcomed us and our dog with a delicious hot chocolate. Heated area where we got warm, even very kindly cooked a sausage for our little Ruffs to warm him up. Lovely x

Fabulous location. Very attentive, friendly staff,great food and selection . You can't reserve a table it is first come first served. Closes at 6pm. Breakfast served in the morning. Would highly recommend.

We had lunch here overlooking the beach. It was a sunny day and we just soaked up the rays with sandwiches and a glass or two of wine. The food was delicious and the service extremely good.

Very long wait, only one person taking food orders but they were also carrying drinks, clearing tables and seating people. We asked 3 times to order food, even after we finally placed an order it took about an hour for the food to arrive. The place was busy but not packed. The view is great from a couple of tables but most tables don’t see that much. Food was fine but nothing to write home about. The toilets had toilet paper all over the floor and the hand dryer didn’t work. Wouldn’t return in a hurry, however the beach nearby is fab, next time I’ll take a picnic.

The bar restaurant is located above Llanbedrog beach which in itself is simply marvellous. Sitting back and relaxing admiring the view over the sea towards Snowdonia National Park. You will see boats pull up and dock at the beach and this place must be visited if you are on the Llyn Peninsula.

Waited for an age for take away coffee and a couple of cakes. Only 1 size coffee (small) which was luke warm at best. This is a great spot with a captive market but c'mon Aqua Beach Bar. Sharpen up around the edges and this would be a truly awesome spot.

Busy little bar but worth a visut

This place has the most amazing views across the sea. Their staff are friendly and the avocado and poached egg on toast for breakfast is amazing. Cappuccino cups could do with being a bit bigger though.

Great food and service. Dog friendly and child friendly. Usually a bit if a queue on busy days but they do a great job of keeping you informed and moving things along, but we felt no pressure to eat and leave either. Perfect location as you can come straight off the beach.

Me and my family had to wait for our food over 2 hours. Then they missed my sons food, so we had to wait another 20 minutes. Food is avarage. Maybe they should shut down the restaurant section and only serve take away food as it looks like they already prioritize that section as it stands.
