Went to Annie's tea room with my girlfriend for afternoon tea and the food was fabulous. Very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back.

We visited for breakfast. Food was delicious and hot! Not too pricey and good value for money. A lot of food on a full English and eggs Benedict was lovely. Just under £25 for two breakfasts and a pot of tea for two. Gluten free toast available.

Just a really nice laid back experience. Lovely staff, great service, spotlessly clean and friendly. Thank you Annie.

Have been here on several occasions over the years but recently celebrated a surprise afternoon tea for my mums 60th Can’t thank them enough for the help is organising and the food was amazing! Great atmosphere and staff.. would highly recommend

Wonderful Service. Fantasic Sandwiches!

Overpriced food and the owner is just so rude. I've visited Annie's tea room twice and on both occasions was made to feel a hinderence rather than welcome. My first visit in October last year I ordered a jacket potato and asked to dine in. I was told by the waitress it would be ok as the table I was sat on was not reserved for an hour. However moments later the manager came in and questioned the waitress why I was there. She then glared at me. I was made to feel so uncomfortable I stood up and asked for my lunch to go and left. The potato was a tenner and very average at best. Today I was in need of a quick coffee so in my break popped in for one to go. The manager (owner) served me and after making my coffee rudely said, "in future can you pay cash for small things like this because I get charged, so just for the future going forward" it was just unecessary and embarrassing. Why not say there's a minimum charge, I'd have bought something else, or inform me it was cash only for transactions under a certain amount before the coffee was made. "Going forward" I'll take my card and my business elsewhere. Have a bit of respect for your customers no matter how much they are spending.

Really nice place if visiting Crosby. Had some French toast, tea and cake, all lovely and the staff were really good. Excellent service. I hadn't realized but if you want afternoon tea that needs booking 24hrs in advance.

It was raining and called in for a quick sandwich. What a lovely friendly place. Mine needed to be gluten free, I was pleasantly surprised when offered many options. I had a ham and mustard sandwich it came with a side salad followed by Victoria sponge cake. They cook their own ham, it was fantastic and the cake was also excellent. The food is presented on cake stands. Everything about this place is perfect, so glad it was raining. Makes a change from the corporate offerings offering the same old stuff on every high street. Call in you won't be disappointed. Thank you Annie x

The best breakfast I have ever had, best food sourced and the cleanliness is impeccable. One of my favourite places to eat staff are lovely and friendly. 5stars

Had an absolutely amazing time at Annie's! The afternoon tea was the best I've ever had! Everything was so fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, lovely atmosphere! Also very good with my peanut allergy, which can be hard to find in other places. 10/10 could not fault anything. Thank you so much, can't wait to go back! 💗

Edit* After a great experience the first time that we visited we decided to come back again (and again) it is one of our favourite places. The staff can't do enough for you and the food has been great every time! Visited here after a recommendation from a friend. We wasn't disappointed! The decor is nice and traditional. With everywhere being nice and clean. The staff are friendly and chatty. The food was also very tasty. We will definitely be back!

Food excellent quality but sausage rolls missing. Even though food was excellent, still thought afternoon tea takeaway was very overpriced. Paid £75 for takeaway for 3 people without drinks included. Say again, food of good quality but not enough savoury options at the price, only 3 small narrow slice sandwiches per person.

Went here today with mum and sisters as it was 8 years ago today we lost dad. It is a lovely, quaint little tea shop. Their menu is very varied and all the food is delicious. The staff are wonderfully friendly and couldn't do enough for us, really made it a lovely afternoon. Will definitely come back again.

Found this cafe one afternoon during a few days break. What a lucky find! Simply have to praise every part of the lunch we had here from the lovely warm welcome, followed by excellent attentive service and great value and delicious omelette followed by irresistibly fresh scones with jam and cream. My wife and I rarely have our expectations exceeded but this lovely cafe and wonderful host managed it! Thankyou.

Lovely little tea room, very friendly staff. If you are near the area then highly suggest popping in, you won't regret it. Was a little busy but managed to get sat down. The food was all home made and fresh. 10/10 Little tip - phone in advance for a proper afternoon tea 🙂

I visited today with my mum,sister in law and my 2 nephews. The food was delicious. Cakes to die for!!! Sophie was Amazing , so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The time she took to chat to us all and especially my nephew's. She went out of her way to make them pancakes with Nutella and strawberries. 2 very happy boys. In the words of my 5 year nephew " it's a GREAT PLACE" 😃. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend 🙂

Visited Annie’s tea rooms today 4 of us in total Warmly greeted by the staff and shown to our table quickly As we have never visited before the waitress pleasantly took us through what we needed to do as we had ordered afternoon tea Big hot pot of tea quickly arrived followed by scrumptious food all very fresh and presented beautifully and more tea arrived Couldn’t possibly if eaten all the food so given boxes to take home what we couldn’t eat My only one criticism it was rather chilly in there. It’s small but cosy perhaps a little heating would of made it a perfect couple of hours out of the house well done girls keep up the good work and hopefully we shall visit again. ( those sandwiches were lovely) xx

Great food reasonably priced. Lovely staff. Only seem to take cash payments and there isn't a free cash machine nearby.

Stopped off for food and drinks on our ride out to Crosby, it was a welcome stop on a windy day. The Staff and Service was excellent has was the food which was at the table quickly. It's a great cafe and worth a visit if your in the area, we will be back again for sure (hopefully on a less windy day 🤣).

Lovely interior and lovely staff always very happy to help the food is amazing very fresh and the drinks get a triple thumbs up with me my family visited for my daughter's 9th birthday and my daughter enjoyed having a very grown up lunch so myself and my family highly recommend this lovely tea room.

Four in our party had a lovely afternoon tea today, great food and lovely pots of tea. I would like to thank the very helpful staff. Had an amazing afternoon tea yesterday it was a special treat for my friend who is undergoing cancer treatment can highly recommend them. Annie went out of her way to accommodate me and her staff are just lovely. Cannot wait to visit them once they reopen.

During this latest lock down we have been lucky enough to have had two of Annie's amazing Afternoon Teas boxes. Both have been gifts from friends because my sister has been really unwell recently and they could not have chosen better. Not only was the food delicious but all the ladies at Annie's are lovely and go that extra mile.

We’ve had a few afternoon teas from Annie’s of late and I cannot recommend them highly enough! Everything is made freshly and the quality is second to none. The ladies always have smiles on their faces and even sang happy birthday to me when I went and collected an afternoon tea for my birthday. They even gave myself and my husband birthday cards, so thoughtful! They also come beautifully presented, they go above and beyond.These are lovely treats, made by lovely people and it’s always a pleasure to enjoy!

My son ordered this for me from South Wales as he had seen me like it on Facebook. And they could not visit for Mother’s Day thought I would enjoy it. The box was for two people. There was more than enough for two people the sandwiches was delicious. As was everything I got trifles scones with jam and cream sausage rolls lovely Victoria sponge cakes lemon drizzle cakes. Cup cakes and pretzels. I would order again. We are all going when my son is allowed out of Wales. Can’t wait. Thanks again Annie’s tea rooms.

Annie's is our favourite tea room in the Crosby area. Today we got a takeaway afternoon tea for 2 adults and 2 kids. Everything was great - sandwiches, scones, cakes. Would thoroughly recommend - it's never been more important to support local businesses.

We met up for the festive afternoon tea and it was lovely! Please was well spaced out with sanitiser at every table. Staff were using masks and cleaning as they went. The afternoon tea was amazing with your choice of sandwich and all the amazing treats to go with it. We also got a take away bag for what we couldn’t finish. Would highly recommend and we will be coming back!

We went for the festive afternoon tea. We were not disappointed. Several options for sandwiches and lots of lovely tasty Christmas themed cakes. Bottomless tea or coffee and that included decaf. Great service and would recommend to friends and family.

It was my Mum's birthday and i want to do something different for her. I ordered afternoon tea for three.It was all ready when I arrived to pick it up...beautifully packaged and the ladies placed it directly in my car.It was lovely...food was excellent... massive selection of cakes....sandwiches were divine.I would totally recommend it.

Wow. I always go here normally when we aren’t in lockdown and the service, food and atmosphere is always the best. Unfortunately had to spend my 30th in lockdown and ordered an afternoon tea from here and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Annie’s is just the best with the nicest staff and freshest food ever. They even wrote me a card for my birthday. What a wonderful treat to indulge in during a rubbish time at the moment. We got an afternoon tea for my grandparents as my Nan is celebrating her birthday in lockdown and so we wanted to make it special. She was delighted with the food & the amount of cakes! Annie's Tea Rooms in Crosby is definitely worth a visit whatever the occasion. The selection of food and drinks at this tea room is fantastic, all for a reasonable price. The staff are all lovely and are extremely conscious about current COVID restrictions. If you want an afternoon tea during current COVID restrictions, this is the place for you. Would definitely recommend and I can't wait to visit again.

Amazing afternoon tea. So much to choose from and all delicious. The cakes were lovely and fresh and the freshly baked biscuits were delicious. Fab scones and sandwiches, pork pie, salad, crisps etc. Gave us a box to take some home as we just couldn’t finish it all. Couldn’t fault it at all and the service was friendly and attentive too, even though they were busy.

Went to Annies today for Afternoon Tea for my Daughter's Birthday. Absolutely Beautiful. Food was Gorgeous you choose your sandwiches, then there are lovely scones and Jam strawberries and cream aswell as shortbreads Brownies and A slice of Cake. Would reccomend 100%.

Las reseñas de Annie’s Tea Rooms sugirieron que deberíamos probarlas para un refrigerio tardío a la hora del almuerzo. ¡No nos decepcionó!Después de tomar los datos de contacto, nos mostraron una mesa en la ventana y decidimos pedir té, sándwiches y pastel, un mini té de la tarde. Los sándwiches caseros eran deliciosos y se servían con una deliciosa ensalada vestida. Las porciones de pastel eran generosas y la tetera llenaba seis tazas de porcelana, todo esto servido por Claire y Fay, que fueron muy acogedoras.La ventaja fue la banda sonora que sonaba mientras comíamos (una buena selección de música funk y soul no era lo que se encuentra en todos los salones de té), pero daba un buen ambiente. Echa un vistazo a este salón de té si vas a Crosby.Oh, notamos que una mesa recientemente desocupada recibió una limpieza a fondo después de que los invitados se fueron, están haciendo las cosas correctamente aquí.

¡Café increíble con un servicio increíble! Fuimos a tomar el té de la tarde para las 4 el domingo 6 de septiembre de 2020 y nos sirvieron dos encantadoras damas, Grace y Claire, que no pudieron hacer más por nosotros. La comida de Annie era absolutamente deliciosa y tenía una buena relación calidad-precio. Es mi lugar al que ir para el té de la tarde en Liverpool. Muchas gracias señoras :)

We spent a lovely lunch at Annie's tearooms yesterday. We had a selection of food and drink and it was all really tasty and looked delicious. The staff were very friendly and professional especially Clare and Fay who looked after us very well. I would recommend you ring ahead to make sure you can get a table as it was busy. Obviously very popular.

we had an afternoon tea for a baby shower which was just gorgeous. Not a problem to bring in decorations or alcohol (just pay corkage) and the food was amazing. You can't get better cakes than here and there was so much we had to box some up. Thanks to all the staff as well who couldn't have done any more. They even played songs relevant to a baby which was lovely touch. Cant wait to come back

I visited yesterday, the quality of the tea and coffee was great with a large cup of coffee plus a china pot with cup and saucer for the tea. We each had sandwiches, tuna and mayo plus chicken and tarragon, both on granary bread. The sandwiches were generously filled and the quality of the bread was really good. They were served with a small salad and crisps on china plates and were £5.50 each. Tables are spread out and as its not too big booking was essential. Walls are covered with shelves containing china teapots cups saucers etc all very pretty. Cakes all looked amazing but we didn't partake. Cleaning was in evidence too when customers left. Service I'm glad to say was attentive without being intrusive and its a BYOB place too which is handy to know for the future, as we will go again but without the car! A very nice experience.

My daughter had booked Annie’s tea rooms as a Mother’s Day afternoon treat for me. However Covid struck and sadly we couldn’t go. When it reopened she rebooked and we visited one Sunday. We took our own Prosecco which the ladies gladly placed in their fridge and topped up as required!The cafe is lovely and light with little vintage decorations around. The staff are fabulous and are the icing on the cake! The food was beautiful and fresh and reasonably priced. Cannot recommend enough. Plenty of free parking and a small outside area if that’s what you prefer.Small fee for corkage.Thankyou for a lovely visit.

Had lunch here today with my mum for the first time. We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome and sat at a lovely little table for two in the window. Everywhere looked spotlessly clean. We ordered warm panini’s (1 chunky ham&cheese,the other tuna melt) which were delicious,then had a very nice black coffee with warm fruit scones with jam and cream. It was hard to decide from all the homemade mouthwatering cakes.We will definitely be returning. Great little place with excellent staff and delicious food. What more could you ask for.

We spent 14th of August in the afternoon here for my birthday treat with friends, it was really clean and the food was delicious and the cakes are to die for, Jay and grace were fabulous and kept us topped up with drinks and smiles, nothing was too much for them thanks for a lovely afternoon
